Smoothies are good, but female owner needs an attitude adjustment. The prices are very high but I'm okay with it because unfortunately I'm used to paying high prices for my organic food. If someone can do the work for me once and a while, terrific... which is why I went back to this place. If there was another place on the island that did the same thing, I would choose the other place. That woman should not be handling people at the register. The first time she was so talkative and friendly to me. The other couple of times I went, I actually felt uncomfortable being there she was so rude. If she is living this healthy of a lifestyle and still mean and irritable, I can't even imagine what she was like before. Yikes!

Blissed Out makes very good fresh juices. My son and I had several tasty ones during our recent vacation on the island. The prices are steep but the quality is excellent. As other reviewers have said, you know that the juices are really healthy and good for you.

This place is top-notch for delicious smoothies. Is it on the pricey side? A little. But when you look at what you're getting--all organic, high-quality ingredients, it quickly becomes clear this is no Jamba Juice. I just think of this as my cocktail on-island, and just as a $9 mojito made with top-shelf liquor wouldn't bother me, this doesn't either. And of course a nutrient-dense, yum-a-licious smoothie or juice is way better for your body. The Chocolate-Blueberry smoothie is outrageously yummy. Cannot recommend enough. Can't wait to get back to it sooon!

I love smoothies. It's becoming a problem, or so I'm told by my coworkers. They see me run down the street to Jamba Juice or Panera Bread any chance I get. What's a girl to do when she needs an afternoon pick-me-up, but doesn't drink coffee? I treat myself to a deliciously cold smoothie a couple times a week. Is that so wrong? On my last trip to MV, I came across a new smoothie bar in Vineyard Haven called Blissed Out. Itching for a fix, I stopped in to check out their menu and sample one of their smoothies. I chatted it up with one of the owners for a few, asking him about the menu and what their most popular smoothie was so far (they only opened in May). He was super nice and started raving about the health properties of their smoothies and how all of the ingredients they use are local and organic. The majority of their smoothies are also dairy-free and none of them have any added sugars or sweeteners. He started saying that even though their smoothies were a little more expensive, that they were well worth the extra price and were something that the average joe could afford to get everyday. Normally, a dairy-free smoothie wouldn't fly in my book, so I thought I would break with tradition and give their healthy concoctions a shot anyway. Since I'm already accustomed to everything on MV being priced higher than on the mainland, I didn't think the sticker shock would be too bad. Great customer service, great variety on the menu... I'm ready to order! The menu was intense. These smoothies are packed with superfoods and the menu details almost every ingredient for each smoothie, which is great for people with allergies or dietary restrictions. Here's what left a sour taste in my mouth. For a smoothie that was approximately 16-20oz, I paid about $10.50. Yes, you read that correctly. It was the most expensive non-alcoholic drink I have ever ordered. Was it good? It was okay... not bad, not amazing, but okay. It certainly filled me up, and I felt good knowing I was having something pure and healthy, but my brain can't rationalize spending more than $6 on a smoothie, let alone more than $10. I hope that as time goes on, they are able to drop their prices a little bit. If they do, I'll probably come back and try another one. Best of luck this season!

I was really really really excited to try this place because I'm vegan/raw and this is certainly the only place of its kind on the island. I gave this 3 starts for a couple reasons. The smoothie I ordered (Carrot Cake) was really good. Also, I appreciated the organic and vegan choices on the menu. I agree with Kaitlyn B...the prices are a little crazy. I know we're on the island and these are not all run-of-the-mill ingredients, but $9 for a smoothie (mine only had carrot juice, coconut, and nut milk). I realize I could make one on my own at home just the same and cheaper. There was even a super healthy smoothie for $16!!! The owners...one was really nice to us and chatted a bit (same spiel he gave Kaitlyn about the price and healthy benifits), but the other owner was a little short with us and not willing to give me a sample of the nut milk. Would I go back? Maybe, if I don't buy lunch and decide to have a smoothie instead, but it would be nice if the prices went down. I wish they had some food too.

This is a great unique place on Martha's vineyard. Its quality products and really innovative smoothies can be lunch themselves and they also have wheat grass shots. The lines do get a bit long and there is no where to sit but its a great place to go when your in VH.
