Your typical chain restaurant. They claim to have won the best chain beer program. The draft selection is weak. The beer tasted sour. Stick with heavier drafts or go bottle. The staff is friendly and helpful. They have $5 apps in the bar before 6. This along with the salad bar is why we stop here from time to time. We never go home hungry. The menu is regular chain fare. Three stars is about right. Clean the draft lines and maybe you would have rated another star.

I don't know why I keep going back. I always have a bad experience. I do love the salad bar but as for the rest of the place, find it sub par. Lunches are horrible, dinners are edible. I always find the servers arrogant and snotty, it's not the Four Seasons. I have been to several restaurants in this chain around the Northeast, this one is the bottom of the barrel. You are better off going to Applebees 100 yards away. I am not a demanding customer, but expect my money's worth. $30 for lunch for two, not worth $15. I think this was my last time, Too many other places available within one half mole

This weekend as we were shopping in the Springfield area we realized that our stomachs were churning and decided to stop at Ruby Tuesday. When we popped in the door the restaurant was busy and we were greeted by the host who quickly sat us. After we sat down was when the fun began. We waited at least 10 minutes before the waitress came over to take our drink order. When she arrived my partner was in the bathroom, so I tried to order both of our meals. The waitress didn't like that idea and told me that she would wait for my partner to come back. This was annoying because she told me what she wanted before she left, and it would have been great to get the food more quickly because we were hungry. When we finally got our order we loved our meals! They started us out with some biscuits that were delicious. The appetizer sampler was great and our main courses were great as well. In the end we enjoyed the food but the service was a bit lacking.

I always get the Parmesan shrimp pasta there. As a chain, it's always the same. It's ok. The salad bar is usually well stocked, but then again I usually go for lunch. We went with a party of two weeks ago for dinner there and no lie, we arrived at 4:45 and didn't leave until 7:15. Not for lack of trying, the waitstaff was EXTREMELY slow! The kitchen was slow. Everything moved at the pace of molasses uphill in the winter. They messed up our checks even though we asked for separate ones at the beginning of "service" (I use that word VERY loosely. I could have waited on us faster). The food was mediocre at best. Not planning a return visit anytime soon.

I came here often with my boyfriend while we both attended Western New England (WNEC, now known as WNE University). The food is always good, and the service is always good too. The prices are very, very affordable for the quality and amount of food you get. They also do happy hour/bar menu items during the football season on Monday nights, which is a lot of fun - often it'll be discounted beer and heavily discounted wings off their appetizer menu (i.e. 50% off the wings, which comes out to be dirt cheap - something like $4 for 12 or more wings) Things that are absolutely delish: 1) the zucchini cake minis - this is a great menu item to order because it'll come with 2 zucchini cake sliders (which are really moist and flavorful), fries AND the unlimited salad bar. just order a drink and you're set. 2) the turkey avocado burger - so good with the pretzel type bun it comes with - if you need to see a picture of this menu item, see the ruby tuesday review pictures from the location in meriden, ct because there's a picture of the turkey avocado burger there. 3) the wings - any of the varieties - i.e. regular, honey bbq, bbq, spicy, etc. they can be boneless if you prefer, too. 4) the sample appetizer - comes with mozz sticks and an assortment of other items from this section of the menu. big portion size, tasty and really well priced. 5) the spinach artichoke dip with tortilla chips 6) their BRUNCH - i've had the benedict, their omelettes and a parfait - i think they're doing a deal now where you can get a 3 course brunch deal. 7) their SALAD BAR - so great. such a value and all the items they have available are the ones you'd want on your salad so there's no shortage of variety here even if you're picky about what goes on your salad. 8) DRINK specials - $5 for all well cocktails and they make great sangria that you can buy in pitchers. they'll also usually have a beer on tap that's discounted and it's often good beer that isn't the absolute cheapest beer on their menu, which i appreciate. And I won't give the Ruby Tuesday here 5 stars because, to me, that implies the food is five star quality and just outstanding. In my opinion, the food here IS great, but I go into any Ruby Tuesday with the right expectations and never assume that it'll be the kind of food I have at a restaurant where I'm paying $15, $20, $30, $40 PLUS for my entrees because that's just not realistic or even fair to Ruby Tuesday. I'd give 5 stars to a restaurant that had more upscale food, but this Ruby Tuesday deserves at least 4 stars because of the whole package it offers. With that in mind, I happily give them 4 stars because I'd much rather go to a Ruby Tuesday - and this one in particular as I've eaten here, seriously, countless times - over an Olive Garden, Chilis, Applebees, etc. Comparatively, Ruby Tuesday beats all of the aforementioned restaurants by a million miles because of their food quality, food selection and service. The design inside Ruby Tuesdays' aren't bad these days either so you won't be disappointed based on decor and their plates are fancy and square these days too ;) So if you're in Springfield and deciding between a few or several chain restaurants for either brunch, lunch or dinner (and YES, I think Ruby Tuesday delivers on all three major meals) - decide to go to this Ruby Tuesday!

It was not good. 1/2 star. wait staff, messed up drink order, then forgot the appetizer. Entree's were just OK. Will not go there again.

Worst service ever. The server was Christ and the manager Terry, awful. The wait for the food was about 35 minutes, we had ordered an appetizer and never received it. I would not recommend coming here, unless you enjoy horrid service

Always a good place for a salad bar, sandwich or full meal that is original in taste and served by friendly people.

Ruby Tuesday's...you get four stars for being there for me on Thanksgiving when my turkey plans were ruined by snow & car troubles. You were there with friendly, helpful employees. You were there with nicely prepared hot entrees (chicken, rib eye, filet & burger)with perfect seasonings & sides. You were there with bottomless Cokes for the kids and 20oz cold beers for the adults. You were one of the very few places open & you shined brightly on a national holiday. Your employees were great & we were more than happy to leave a mega-tip. I wouldn't hesitate to return.
