Lattitude is a very good Restaurant that I visit once per month. The menu changes on a regular basis. The chef owner works hard to keep the menu fresh and current. I always order from the daily specials. Two or three years ago this would have been a 5 star for me but since the 013? expansion there have been some bumps. The staff needs to be more educated on the menu and management needs to work harder to capture that warm feeling the old spot had. Be aware of what is happening at the Big E as they can be very busy when a show is in town. I always call ahead. I am a big fan of chef owned restaurants and Lattitude is a very good one..

This place is way overpriced for what they offer. I have no problem spending a lot on eating out....but the quality of the food and the service must be consistent with the price I pay. That was not the case here. I did not like the fried brussel sprouts. they were dry and the sauce seemed to be a mix of russian dressing and mayo...kinda weak. I also had the swordfish, which was interesting, but not a wow....and cost $25 without any potato or vegetable. The brussel sprouts were $10, bringing the cost of my two item meal to $35. Thank goodness I chose water as my beverage. They were using a "team serve" approach, where one waiter took my order, and someone else brought my food. My waiter has a party in another room, and failed to check on me freqently enough to refill my water glass in a timely manner. i had the impression, as I have had on other occasions when I dine alone in fancy restaurants, that I was less important than other tables with more than one patron. Everyone was ultra polite and apologetic, but I still told them I could not see myself bringing anyone there to impress them. Still, they were busy on a Tuesday night, so good for them. It's just not my cup of tea.

Good evening Mr. Frank M, I have never actually responded to something like this, but with you I feel it's necessary. Well you certainly made your dislike for me very apparent. Being a restaurant owner of a Michelin starred restaurant ( kind of having a difficult time finding your particular one since none seem to exist in MA) I would have hoped you would have had the professionalism to have contacted me directly since you're so opinionated on how much of an asshole I am. The fact that you had to comment about my staff member is total horse shit though.. I, nor any of my team members, have ever done anything malicious towards you and you raise no real issues of the experience you had...just an overall dislike for me after me personally. If you don't care for me, that's your decision... But as a Restauranteur, as you so claim to be, have the decency to contact me if you had a problem with something... Going after my people is unfair to them...at least have the respect to speak with me rather than bash us on social media and yelp for a "non" review. Chef Jeffrey Daigneau

Hadn't been in well over 5 years and was amazed at how much had changed; bottom line is, I'll be back! *Very classy interior, attentive wait staff, delicious food and strong martini. We were never out of water and our waiter did a great job keeping a respectful distance if our group of 6 were in the middle of a conversation etc; huge pet peeve. Food is expensive, albeit very delicious; I was surprised it's only rated at $$, not $$$; the Ahi Tuna was perfectly cooked to rare but thought there could have been a larger portion size for $26; my first drink (Greasy Cory) was weak sauce but more than made up for it with a dirty martini w/ V-One. **Highly recommend the brussell sprouts, OUTSTANDING and a good portion size

I don't know how people are giving anything less than 5 stars for this place... yes, this place is expensive, but the food is exquisite and the service is outstanding - do your research and don't walk in without a reservation :-)

Had an awesome lunch. The atmosphere was very nice and our waiter could not be beat! Our group included grandma, grandpa, parents, & grandchild and all were pleased with the setting & food. The brussel sprout appetizer is classic. Would highly recommend this resturant to anyone!

Our first time. Overall we enjoyed it. It was very busy so it did feel a little cramped. Our waitress was very good. The main problem was the kitchen. We sat down right before 7pm and didn't get our food until after 8pm. I would try dinner here again.

Our 1st time there but certainly not our last! Anniversary dinner was perfect! Owner even personally wished us a Happy Anniversary and bought us champagne!! My husband had the scallops with pumpkin ravioli and I had the short rib. Delicious!! Can't wait to eat there again!! Thank you for a great evening!!

I can't believe I've lived less than 10 miles from this place for almost 2 years and am having it for the 1st time. My wife and I arrived there on a Friday night around 7:15pm and where seated in ~20 min, not too bad for a pretty busy night. Ambiance: The crowd ranged from 20-60 yrs of age, the bar area was an industrial modern with touches of nature (live edge wood tables). The only negative I have here is a rather bawdy woman that spoke as if she was trying to communicate with someone 100 ft away vice 3 ft (not really their fault). Food/Drinks: The food was fantastic for an app we go the fried brussels sprouts with a chili aioli. I love fresh brussel sprouts and fried food so naturally it was a party in my mouth. I'm a sucker for anything resembling a caesar salad so I got that and was super impressed. I guess this is their take on a caesar salad deconstructed (only know what this is because of Top Chef), the egg is fried sunny side, shredded parmesan cheese, whole anchovies, bread crumbs, and a balsamic reduction drizzled over grilled iceberg lettuce. I really enjoyed the grilled lettuce and also the fact that it was up to me how each bite tasted. All the flavors were much bolder than one normally gets from a run of the mill caesar. For an entree I got the grilled scallops on a bed of english pea risotto with a strawberry vinaigrette. As I'm writing this I'm practically salivating thinking about this amazing food. Everything was perfectly balanced. My wife got the grilled NY sirloin which was cooked/seasoned to perfection. For dessert we got the strawberry crème brulee topped with sliced strawberries. The portion was pretty small but this in no way overshadowed the flavor. My only real complaint was the alcoholic coffee I ordered was overwhelmingly bad (way too much alcohol). I really couldn't even taste the coffee and promptly sent back after one small sip. Service: I felt the service was professional and rather prompt, our drinks were always kept full, and our waiter took our order in a timely manner. My biggest complaint with the whole experience was our waiter failed to tell us what they were out of until we ordered our entrees. My wife was super excited to try their braised short ribs but we were informed ~20 min after sitting down at our table they were out of this item. In my opinion after handing us our menus the waiter should have informed us what they were out of. Bottom Line: Yes I would recommend this place to people and also plan on returning several times. Expect to spend ~$100 if you get apps, entrees and dessert (no drinks included).

I really enjoyed the "experience" of Lattitude. The atmosphere was trendy and fashionable and the martini list was absolutely delicious! We ordered the grilled brussel sprouts based on many other reviews, they were tasty and buttery. For the entree I ordered the grilled beef tenderloin that was served with a parsnip puree and asparagus. I really enjoyed it here because it reminds me of the trendy Boston restaurants that I used to frequent with my girlfriends. It's something unique to the area, and although pricey, is definitely a treat for special occasions.

I went to Lattitudes on Saturday night and my experience left alot to be desired. When we walked in I told the hostess that I had a gluten allergy and she informed that that they do not have a dedicated menu, however they can substitute things here and there to accommodate me. I informed my server of my allergy when we ordered our appetizers and he assured me they were prepared gluten free. We ordered the brussels sprout appetizer and some shrimp cocktail. They were both really good until I found some fried onion rings mixed in with the brussels sprouts. People with Celiac disease cannot eat anything that has been prepared in a fryolator with other wheat containing foods. It was too late though I had already eaten a good portion of it. It took us about 25 minutes to flag the waiter down. When I voiced my concern to the waiter about cross contamination he was hardly apologetic. He blamed the kitchen for being "really backed up" and then told me that other people with gluten allergies eat food out of the fryolator all the time there. He then told me he was going to bring some fresh ones out that were pan fried, then never did. So we ordered entree's and I ordered the cider brined french pork chop. It was pretty dry and very burnt on the top. My sister had the pork also but hers was cooked very differently and delicious. I would have liked to try something else that night, but they were out of the salmon, swordfish, osso bucco, and some other red meat. My family was upset I was exposed to gluten and that my meal was burnt so I decided to talk privately to a manager. I kindly asked the hostess who sat us if I could speak with a manager. She said "Sure I can get you a manager, what is this about?" I told her about my food concerns and then she said "Well actually I am a manager". This just seemed strange and unprofessional. Was she only a manager based on what type of problem I had? Also she asked me if I had gotten sick- which is completely BESIDES the point and really uncomfortable. It was pretty awkward the rest of the night. The waiter even kidded at one point "I'm batting 1000 tonight" cause he knew he kept messing up our orders. That being said, I think how they resolved my issue was good. They took the appetizer off our bill and gave me a free dessert. This is why I gave them 2 stars.

The food here is amazing. The chef is awesome and the wait staff is very personable. So why the 3 stars? Because of a few problems I've had with seating and hostessing. The people at the front of the restaurant have been confused about who's next and whether you have to put your name in for a table or seat at the bar. At one point, after a long wait and being told we had to put our names in for the next available seat, another patron strolled in, took our seat, and was not asked to move. The manager came over and apologized for the mix-up and offered to bring us a glass of wine while we waited for the "next" seat. Nice. Right? Well, it would've been if he hadn't then put the wine on our tab. Gee thanks. My advice is to go for lunch or when ti's not busy, because the wait and the confusion is just not worth the aggravation.

We came back for our anniversary! We couldn't resist ordering the fried brussel sprouts again. The sauce makes this dish fabulous. However, I do have a small nit picky thing to add--they need to bring a serving spoon in the basket instead of a fork. A fork is fine for the large pieces, but it is difficult to get the small pieces out of the basket. It is worth just going in for the fresh onion bread. My husband had the beef napaly (sp?) soup which was probably one of the best soups I have ever eaten. The staff was even more accommodating this time as I had my heart set on the new garlic jam and vanilla marinated chicken, but we came in during lunch hours, and the chef offered to make it for me anyway. It was as delicious as I imagined it would be. I am not a pro with poultry, but I think it was a thigh and partial breast butterflied with the part of the wing bone left in. I could be wrong on this, but I am mentioning it because I was surprised to see the tiny drum stick . The sauce and waffle topping was amazing. I wish I ate skin because it was soaked in the sauce. I took off the skin and dipped my chicken in the sauce and it was plenty. My husband had the buffalo mac & cheese which was also delicious. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is the dessert. They really need a pastry chef. They failed last time on the creme brûlée and it wasn't much better this time. It wasn't burnt as it was last time, but it was still overcooked. It wasn't creamy but falling apart a bit on the spoon. The fried bread pudding was delicious. I would describe it as bread pudding bites with caramel sauce as it wasn't at all what I was expecting. The chef kept the raisin out of my sauce especially for me. I am saying this only so they can improve in this area. I can't comment on the beverages this time as they were out of the ingredients for both of my choices. I still think this is the best restaurant in Western Mass and I will continue to enjoy special occasions here. I encourage everyone to try it out if you haven't already.

Reservations for 6:45Pm last night - perfect. 2 of 6 daily menu specials not available - "We apologize that they are out so early." First 4 drinks and or wines (from the menu) not available? - "We apologize but we are reworking our alcohol list." Lobster bisque - 30 minutes after the order. " Sorry but we had to whip up a new batch". Did anyone tell them that there should be some pieces of Lobster in it. Chicken/Seafood Paella - Very good and well portioned Service - Lacking and Poor at best. We had high expectations for Lattitude's but was fairly disappointed by the lack of service, food and drink availability, and the soup. The entree's were however very good. Seems to be a restaurant that is trying to find their way and isn't quite sure if they want to step up a level or fall back to mediocrity. I would not recommend this to anyone who is expecting something special. Get there early before the specials run out, stick to the entree's and the bread, and drink water and you'll enjoy it.

Imagine meeting a woman with Anne Hathaway's physical makeup and the intellect of Eleanor Roosevelt. (Now, this is not to say that Anne Hathaway is a dummy or that Eleanor Roosevelt was not a looker.) Rather, what I'm getting at is that if you combine these two things, you get quite a woman (me personally, I'd spend the next 20 minutes totally flabbergasted before attempting to impress her with my knowledge of macropolitical trends... "Hey, you want to hear about dynamic representation?" Works every time :) ). But in terms of food, my best-of-both-worlds metaphor applies to Buffalo Chicken Mac and Cheese. Lattitude nails this perfectly, combining breaded chicken chunks doused in buffalo sauce with cheese-covered shell macaroni goodness, all combined together perfectly. The buffalo does not overwhelm; the cheese does not overwhelm, it's all just there, perfectly in sync with each other. Lattitude itself is a fascinating place: it seems out of place across the street from The Big E, a Boston-style restaurant in the middle of a much less urban metro. But it works. The style of the restaurant is well-crafted, though the area is a little small at times. However, they make what they make quite well. This extends to the drinks. I had a chance to imbibe on an Egg Nog Martini. Damn that was good. You want your egg nog martinis to taste like, well, Egg Nog, and this one hit the spot perfectly. We also started out with some fried Brussels sprouts. Now I know what you are thinking (EW!). But these were good! The sprouts were made even better with the help of a garlic aioli, which added a nice bite of flavor to the mix. Finally, I had the peppermint creme brulee. It was outstanding. They also have a lot of other great options, including different steak and seafood options, and as Annie notes, is also seasonally based. It was a little slow in terms of service, but it's a creative addition to a region (Western Mass and West Springfield) that needs more creative additions.

Went for an after work business dinner. We had a private room which was great for our group. I tried the pineapple upside down martini as well as the s'mores martini & I would definitely recommend both. Also be sure to try the brussel sprouts & calamari for your appetizer as they were to die for!

I was immensely pleased to find this restaurant as part of a hotel points dining program. The atmosphere was surpassed only by the food. I happened to sit next to a former waitress who was visited by the chef. I made my selections based on what he recommended for her party. I enjoyed every bit from the salad to the dessert and espresso. I can't wait to return on my next business trip.

Yum. A new dish I've never tried. Fried artichokes over wilted spinach and manchego cheese. It was even better than it sounded. Always love the brussel sprouts too. Def a favorite. I had pan seared sea scallops over a bacon risotto, and brought NO left overs home. The staff is really nice too. Parking can be a pain because there really isn't any. They do have valet, but I like to park myself and leave when I'm ready. Make reservations for sure as it's a small place and fills always.

When I first started dinning here I was very impressed but lately not so much. the service is still fine but as of no fault of theirs they are constantly out of most of the dishes that I go there for. The last five times I tried to order the tuna entre they had it twice. They never seem to have the brussel sprouts and are usually out of the calamari as well. I went in last night with two friends who were taking myself and my girlfriend out for my birthday. Our waiter informed us that they were out of the tuna and the calamari. We then asked if there were any specials and are waiter apologized and informed us that they were out of that as well. At that point we ordered a couple of appetizers ( less the calamari ) four drinks and examined the already limited menu, we then decided to pay are bill and go somewhere else for dinner. My friends and myself were thoroughly disappointed. What upset me even further is that it was fairly early on a Wednesday night and the restaurant was half mast at best. I think that any high end restaurant with such a limited menu should be able to provide the few items on it at any time no matter what. I know that fish and calamari come in frozen its not a big deal to keep your freezer stocked and you customers coming back. Don't get me wrong I love this restaurant, I think it has a strong back bone and is an excellent venue for music and food but giving people what they want is the biggest part of it. I will give it another chance because when you do get the meal you want its usually fantastic but I am not big on settling on something else three out of five times and paying for a meal that I really didn't want in the first place.

I went here for dinner about a week ago without a reservation. Although it was packed and a few couples were turned away the host was nice enough to hook us up with a table. The fried artichoke app wasnt good it just tasted like fried batter and oil & due to a dirty cup, I lost a glass of wine out of the bottle we ordered. Although they missed a couple of marks the overall service and main course - beef tenderloin & side of bacon mac'n cheese is enough for a 5 star rating. Not only would I highly recommend it but I'd crave it. I'm looking forward to going back the next time I'm in town.

We've been here a number times over the years, with the first few visits coming on our own volition but we usually have just joined friends or family who wanted to do dinner here in the more recent past. I think it's great that the menu changes somewhat frequently, the atmosphere is always upbeat, and the service has always struck a nice balance of personable and professional yet I've had mostly disappointing dinners here. The flavors are bland and have rarely tasted as flavorful as they are described on the menu. I most recently had togarashi crusted cod with mango relish, crispy beef, and sushi spiced purple sticky rice. The fish was prepared correctly but there was no crust at all and no hint of any togarashi seasoning - really bizarre since togarashi is made up of 7 unique spices, so you expected to be hit with some of that flavor, whether it was from the dried orange, the heat from the chiles, or the savoriness of the nori; the crispy beef was actually cold on my plate and not crispy whatsoever - I was expecting thinly sliced flash-fried beef, almost in the style of Mongolian beef that you see at Chinese restaurants, but it appeared to be pan seared and pan seared a lot earlier than the fish; and the purple sticky rice had absolutely no flavor. It was boiled purple sticky rice with zero seasoning, not even salt. I think paddling in sushi vinegar after the rice was finished cooking would have gone a long way in adding/balancing flavor to a rice that has sort of a nutty bitterness to it and given dimension to the entire dish since everything seemed one note. Furikake seasoning could have given the rice an umami flavor which would have added depth and fit what I feel the Chef's interpretation of a 'sushi spice' should have been. Overall, it was a poorly executed dish, both in conception (I think it desperately needed a sauce, even if everything else had the correct seasoning, or at the very least served with a bottle of soy sauce on the side) and not executed correctly in practice. We were dining here on this particular occasion under a unique family situation so it felt very much out of place to make a scene sending the food back but I would have not accepted this entree if I had been dining out with my girlfriend and it wouldn't have been the first time we sent something back here. The prices have slowly crept higher over the years. I'm not someone who minds paying if the food is worth it but when you get into the $25-30 an entree level, I start thinking of all the other places in that price range - The Federal in Agawam, Millwrights in Simsbury, and those restaurants flat out blow Lattitudes out of the water. The drinks here aren't that notable and their selection of spirits is pretty limited. They have a few top notch craft brews, both on tap and in bottle, but not a selection that you can find up the street at Plan B. The desserts have always been 50/50 for us - we've had outstanding creme brulee and extremely dry cheesecake. Western Mass is by no means a foodie destination and I know how popular this place is, as evidenced by their constant expansion projects. As someone who is really into at-home cooking and dining out, I think this places has a little bit of a 'big fish in a small pond' feel to it for me and I think it's a place that non-foodies think is the epitome of modern dining. We have returned here somewhat reluctantly over the years with friends and family and have held out hope that a CIA-trained chef would bowl us over. I did have a monkfish entree over the winter that had such bold, unique and balanced flavors that make me feel he is capable of delivering memorable entrees but that has really been the lone highlight for me here. Because the scene is pretty vibrant and the service is good, I think this is an OK choice for a dozen oysters, a Racer 5 IPA and calamari after work at the bar. If you're not a fussy diner, I'm sure you'll think I'm a picky eater after reading what I just wrote, but if you're a foodie thinking this a spot worth seeking out I feel confident you'll be let down as we have been.

Went here with the entire family once and it was by far one of the best places in the area we've all gotten together at for dinner. We utilized the "wine room" there which was great! Love the decor of this place. (I did not for a second feel like I was across the street from the Big E.) Love the fact they buy from local farms. My one gripe was the lack of veggie options. Chef Jeffrey Daigneau did whip us up a great penne pasta dish though. Overall the experience was great and can't wait to go back!

After waiting 20 minutes later than the reservation time I made TWO weeks in advance, we were finally stuck at a bar table, pretty much dining with the strangers sitting 8 inches away (since the people at the table I reserved in the dining room were "still enjoying their dessert"). Being that this was my belated Valentine's dinner for my mans, I was a little pissy pants about it... but this is a romantic dinner, so keep the positive attitude, right? Our server, David, was a very personable guy. He had a good attitude, answered some wine questions... all around no issues with him. We started out with drinks and two delicious apps. Calamari in a sweet chili(ish) sauce with pineapple and edamame, and the famous fried brussel sprouts. FOODGASM. So, as we're finishing up our apps (about an hour after we were seated at not-the-right-table) David comes over and repeats our food order; "you're gonna hate me, but i forgot to put the order in. I will definitely get it rushed, and your wine (we ordered wine after the initial drinks to compliment our steaks) is on me." Okay. Fine. He's really nice, I'm a server, we all make honest mistakes sometimes. Plus I'm full from the apps already, so some digestion time is cool. Then the food finally comes, probably about 20-25 minutes later. Looks delicious. I ordered the Filet Tournedos & Shrimp, which comes with sweet onion mashed pots, and garlicky spinach. The flavors were delicious. My boyfriend ordered the Beef tenderloin with asparagus and the same mashed potatoes. I cut into my meat and take a bite. It's pretty good. I think to myself "this is good, but definitely not the best filet I've had... wait a minute... i've never seen filet come in two separate flat pieces." Sure enough, i look across the table at boyfriend's plate. What's there? My frickin filet G-D it! FINE. I'm a push over. You screwed up my reservation. You forgot my food order. Then you brought the wrong food. Icing on the cake? The manager waited until we had our coats on and were walking out the door, and the literally came over and MUMBLED, "hey thanks for being patient about the food and stuff." Honesty, I would have been less insulted if he just hadn't come over at all. I LOOOOOOOOVED this restaurant the first time I went and had such a GREAT experience, but after this experience, and the experience my parents had last month at Lattitude, I will definitely think two or three or fifteen times before I recommend this place again. REALLY DISAPPOINTED!

We are frequent patrons. Have been over a few dozen times and have had minor disappointments here and there but always come out happy. Lunch is a well kept secret as prices are very reasonable. Also lunch menu is extensive. Service is always good and usually exceptional. Kudos to the owner for not dumbing anything down for a blue collar town like West Spfld. Northampton, Springfield even Hartford would be lucky to have a restaurant like Lattitude in the mix.

I went here for lunch with my friend and our moms. The food was DELICIOUS especially the fried brussel sprouts...mmm. However both my friend and I were very sick later that evening. I hadn't eaten anything that would or could have made me sick (like under cooked chicken or fish) and I was so surprised since the food was awesome. I suspect bad hygiene in the kitchen so unfortunately I will not be returning.

Finally took my wife to this place. The parking situation is decent: there is a valet service and there are some parking spots on the street. The bar area is the first area you enter and its beautifully laid out and pretty open. The bar selection looked really good. We sat in the dining room, which was a little crowded but I never felt too squished in. Our food came relatively fast and fresh. I had pan seared barbecue pork with mashed potatoes mixed with Gorgonzola and cranberries. Oh my goodness, it was good. The wait staff is very friendly and very accommodating; allowing any party to sit wherever they want if they just ask. The bar area definitely seemed a good area to socialize which I will have to take a note of at another time. Cannot wait to go again.

Amazing! Have to try the fried brussels sprouts and the chopped salad. - for starters then dinner go with the lamb or ahi tuna for dinner. And for dessert I was always so full and a dog bag to go, so I have never tried there dessert unfortunately. Next time I am going to save room! :).

I have came here four times in four months to celebrate a lot of family functions and tonight my ten year anniversary. All the apps and dinners are awesome. Can't wait to get back here again. The calamari appetizer is great and the swordfish is awesome too. But trust me, try everything. You won't be disappointed!!!

I had a wonderful dinner here last week. I found Lattitude on Yelp and I am so glad I did... this review will be updated later this week when I go back. My first visit... I was blown away with their customer service. Immediately when I walked in I was greeted. I sat at the bar and just about every server that walked past said hello and asked if I was doing OK... I also saw them do this with other patrons so I know they weren't flirting with me. When I first arrived and looked around the restaurant is very modern and clean. The crowd was a little older but as the night progressed it was varied with 30 somethings to older. I wasn't very hungry so I kept my meal light. I had their hand clipped organice greens salad and it was so delicious. Although I am not a fan of lettuce, this was a good variety of greens. It had warm goat cheese, apples, walnuts and a wine vinagrette, probably my favorite one of the best salads I've ever had. As a second course I had the mushroom and artichoke risotto. I was a little dissapointed that they took a little long after I finished my salad but they were definitely busy and the risotto was fresh so I can assume they had just made it. The mushrooms were a wonderful compliment, however I was not crazy about the artichokes. The taste was a bit too tart and it didn't quite dance on my toungue. I think I would order it again minus the artichokes. For dessert I had the special cheesecake, with a lemon girl scout cookie crust. It was good but not over the moon delicious. Like I said before, their service was amazing and I am inclined to go back again this week but this time I will try something new. Great restaurant for a group, if you are going on a date or solo.

Have been wanting to try this place, finally did. Average restaurant. I am wondering if the owner was on site tonight. He needs to be there, making his presence known. Disinterested service by our waiter. Waitstaff was not knowledgable about our menu questions and service was extremely slow for a quiet Wednesday night. Delmonico steaks were above average. My pan seared ahi tuna was served ice cold over lukewarm mashed potatoes. It took so long to get it I did not dare send it back, we were all ravenous by the time dinner arrived. Oysters were super. At the end of the night, 350 dollars later, we all agreed Latitudes was not what we anticipated and not worth the travel nor the price. So sorry to write this, but an absolute disappointment. I give it 2 stars based on the expectations and the price point.

Was in town on a business trip and the hotel recommended a few different places locally. I was a little worried when the cab pulled up along a deserted street, with a gun club across from the restaurant, however I was very pleasantly surprised from the moment i stepped inside. My coworker and I said at the exact same time: "It smells soooo good in here" The menu has a good variety of steak and seafood dishes and changes frequently based on seasonal items. There are also several creative martini's. Our waitress suggested the fried Brussels sprouts which were absolutely FABULOUS with the delicious chilie aioli!!! The Traditional seafood paella was delicious and loaded with large scallops, shrimp, mussels, clams. The rice was cooked perfectly, and not mushy. My coworker tried the beef tournedos and shrimp (their version of surf and turf) and the shrimp and steak were also cooked spot on. All side dishes were made with really fresh quality ingredients and complemented beautifully. In addition to the great food, the staff was very knowledgeable, and was able to give good recommendations based on preferences. Great find!!!!

The buffalo chicken mac n cheese is amazing! The cheese sauce is light but flavorful and the buffalo chicken adds just the right amount of heat. I also had a great appetizer with french bread, aged balsamic vinegar, and garlic roasted and brought out to the table still in the skin. Can get a little pricey for dinner, but the lunch portions are huge and much cheaper!

Four of us went to Lattitde last night and the great reviews are spot on. The food was VERY good. I had the Brussel sprouts, vegie risotto and pumpkin ravioli (yum!!), my husband had the shrimp and corn chowder and a shrimp/steak combo. The location is kind of odd, across from the Big E, but the food makes going there worth the trip!

I only live a few towns over and had never visited this place until tonight, and I'm so glad we decided to stop here. There really is nothing in the area that compares. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, good food selection, and the atmosphere was cozy. I didn't give 5 stars because my mother only drinks white Zinfandel and they didn't have it but she settled for something different. We will definitely be back.

Lattitude is the perfect place to eat when I visit Western MA and want to enjoy delicious food in a more laid-back environment. The entrees are expensive but tasty. I don't understand, however, why they have no mid-range dishes. Appetizers/soups/salads are $5-7 and then entrees at $20-30. Why the jump? It'd be great if they added sandwiches or half-portion entrees to their menu to make it more affordable.

Went today for brunch!! What a great experience. This is usually my favorite place for dinner but I was of course pleasantly surprised for brunch. I had the Apple Bourbon waffle and fried Brussels sprouts. Washed it all done with a mimosa and perfectly brewed coffee!! Priced very reasonably for such a great restaurant!

I like this place for lunch. The scallops and burger are two great dishes. My son loves the fried Brussel sprouts. With the Big E coming up Lattitude is a calm respite from the noise of the fair too. They serve dinner here but I have not tried that.

While visiting the area and staying at a hotel close by, I searched Yelp for recommendations and found this place. It turned out to be pretty nice! I ordered the orange-glazed duck wings, pork milanese, and vanilla bean creme brulee. Everything was delicious (although the pork was just a bit overcooked) and our server Brooke was great - friendly and very knowledgeable about the menu! If I lived in the area, I would definitely return.

I had really high hopes for this restaurant. My husband and I came here to celebrate our anniversary and were very disappointed in the food and the service. I completely agree with Ken K's review and wish I had read it before ordering. The positives-Our cocktails were both very good and the oysters we ordered were very fresh and tasty. The negatives- Our server rushed us through our entire meal. We arrived at 6:30 and were in our car by 7:30 after ordering drinks, appetizers and full dinners. When I am paying the prices that are charged I expect not to be rushed, She also took our signed check while we were still sitting there, which in my years as a server I never would do except if we were closing. I ordered the duck duo and LOVE duck. This was disgusting. I should have sent it back. The breast tasted plasticy and of poor quality, I ate maybe two pieces. The sauce on both the breast and the legs was a clearly pre-packaged "foam" that added nothing except the taste of corn syrup. The "sous vide duck leg Confit" tasted like the deep fryer, nothing more to say about that. For $26 I expect significantly better quality and execution. My husband ordered the Shrimp, Mussels and Andouille which was a dish served over grits. The portion was good but again for the price it was of poor quality and the flavor was bland. We will not be back here. It is expensive and of low quality.

It was an alright experience. My lady and I went there for dinner when we were traveling and I found the place looking around on the internet. Being a fan of farm to table places the place at first read the place sounded good so I made a reservation on opentable for 8pm on 8/7/2015. Upon arrival there was no host or hostess at first, and after hovering at the doorway for a few minutes and watching waitstaff as well as what turned out to be the hostess walk by without even a single greeting, I managed to get the hostess' attention at the hostess station (which is tucked around the corner from the entrance and isn't obvious. The hostess doesn't welcome or greet, and I had to practically yell my name to her since it was next the entrance, kitchen, and bar. I was told that it will be a few minutes, keep in mind my reservation is for 8 and I arrived 7:50. The hostess circles back finally around 8:30 to seat us, after asking me if sitting outside would be ok. I agreed as I didn't want to wait much longer seeing that it's 20 minutes past what I made my reservation for. I understand reservations aren't necessarily precise times, but what's the point when I'm seated a half hour after my reservation? Finally seated outside at a metal table and metal chair hightop......and someone playing guitar and signing. I came here to eat good food and with the menu and reviews I expected better. Had the hostess mentioned this fact, I would have declined the outdoor seating. As for the food, we ordered the fried brussel sprouts for our appetizer which was really good and a pretty big portion. I thought that there was hope yet. We also ordered drinks and started with the house specialty drinks. I ordered Pablo's gin and juice and she ordered a bourbon drink with apricot liquor and they were pretty good. For dinner I ordered the duo of duck and she ordered shrimp, mussels, and andouille. The waitress asked my preferred doneness for the duck and I answered medium rare. Food comes out and we are running out of space on the table with empty dishes that weren't cleared. Awkward to work around until the waitress finally sees this and clears the dishes from the appetizer. Her dish was great, well seasoned and cooked and neatly presented. Duo of duck on the other hand, is another story.....The idea with the plate is that the breast is pan seared and the leg is sous vide than confit. The breast was almost rare where the fat wasn't even rendered. It was very obvious that the breast was quickly seared and never really cooked, plus bland. Yes duck is fatty and rich typically, still needs to be seasoned. Moving on to the duck leg, it was again bland and looked like deep fried chicken minus the batter. Confit is to slowly cook and with duck slowly cooked in its own fat slowly. This had the feel and texture of seeing the inside of a deep fryer. The kale had zero seasoning as well, and the starch was a wild mushroom and farro "risotto": I should have paid attention to the quotes around the word, "risotto" (that's how it's listed on their menu) as it was absolutely nothing like a risotto. It was mushrooms and farro fried together, that's it. We ordered additional drinks during dinner and we are fans of classic cocktails. Sure I don't expect every bar to know classics, but after striking out on five drinks between the two of us with the poor waitress having to run back and forth to the bartender to ask of he knew the drinks. While this isn't a huge deal in the overall experience, I wanted to mention it in case anyone wishing to go here will be best advised to stick to commonly known drinks if ordering outside of their house specialty drinks. After all of this I gave it two stars as the place had some hits, but far too many misses between service, food, and atmosphere. Now that I think of it, I don't know if the place offers specials or not as nothing was mentioned by the waitress nor was anything described. I honestly can't see myself recommending this place as there are a lot of great farm to table places in Massachusetts alone and this place doesn't come close to the rest. I also can't see myself going back there either when back in that area.

Service last night was excellent. Food was very good but not perfect. Nothing to dock stars over but hopefully management will work to improve and prevent the following: Scallops were gritty. You gotta really clean them! Lamb is a good choice. Brussel sprouts are a must order item for the table, (though the side sauce was a little "gelatinous" for lack of a better description. No sauce is needed anyways.

Went unexpectedly for Mother's Day brunch today and was thrilled! There was no wait, and the brunch selection was incredible. I had almost one of everything! My husband loved the hash and potatoes and I was in love with the cream cheese/kale as well as the dessert selection. My husband's face as he bit into a cupcake with brownie/Oreo/chocolate chip cookie combo was priceless! As a mother-to-be I think we've found a new tradition!!

Let me start off with saying this is 3 stars for one reason only, the food was room temperature and made this a 3 star instead of a 5 star. The drinks were great, the grapefruit martini was the highlight drink. We went for brunch on a Sunday and again the food was delicious but not hot making it not the best.

What a stunning restaurant! Who would have expected to find such a world-class fine-dining experience located along Memorial Avenue in West Springfield, MA? Lattitude can be found in a small bricked building which is directly across from the main gates to the "Big E" exposition fairgrounds in this western Massachusetts town. Lattitude's Executive Chef Jeffrey Daigneau literally grew up in the restaurant industry, and later graduated from the prestigious Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY. He went on to star at several prestigious New York City and Massachusetts Cape Cod restaurants before returning home and opening Lattitude in 2008. Chef Daigneau brought the farm to table concept to western Massachusetts with his creative ideas which flow from the pages of his menus by way of grilled beef tenderloin with white sweet potato puree, pan seared scallops in a candied walnut sage cream sauce, fried Brussels sprouts with sweet chili aioli, and much, much more. He has definitely brought fun and fine dining to the area. I made a weeknight reservation, and it turned out to be a good thing since the restaurant was quite full. In addition to the large dining room, they have an event hall where a friend of mine is having his wedding reception later this year, and an outdoor patio with a gas fire pit and live music. Everyone told me that I *HAD* to order the fried Brussels sprouts appetizer, and the darned thing was exceptional. Imagine very fresh Brussels sprouts, split in half length-wise, then quickly pan-fried, and served with a sweet chili aioli dipping sauce. You cannot believe how amazingly melt-in-your-mouth delicious this tasted. The recipe seems so very simple, that I have to give it a try at home. For my main course I had the Blackened Ahi Tuna entrée which was seared sushi-grade tuna which came with wasabi-mashed white sweet potatoes. There was also a side of Napa cabbage apple slaw, sprinkled with crispy wontons and a mango Habanero dressing. Good Lord that was awesome! My server, Emily, tried her best to talk me into one of their homemade desserts, but I was absolutely stuffed. She was an outstanding server, giving me all sorts of recommendations about the menu, and then chatting with me when she found out that I was from Florida. I learned a lot about the restaurant from visiting with her. Truly amazing food that is worth the drive from anywhere in the Pioneer Valley! I'll be a regular when I'm back in town.

This for those in the area is another hidden gem in this town as this is fine dining to the fullest. If you wish to get liquor the bar's got that on lock with beers, wines & spirits to boot The appetizers are very good & primarily fresh & the meals are very much worth the money in terms of size, flavor & cooking to go. Servers are very knowledgeable especially if you got a mental block on what to do for an appetizer then a meal (which is what happened today but my server Bobby realized my dilemma & helped in the decision process) This place does parties for private events & catering & does about everything you'd expect of a place of this caliber.

Good atmosphere, great food, and excellent service. We had my daughter's baby shower here and it was off the charts. As an event venue we would highly recommend it for its professional staff, outstanding coordination, spot on presentation, and as always great food.

Came here after the big e and I'm so happy we did. We wanted a place to sit down and have a few drinks. They advertised $3 bud light and yuenglings, which was awesome. Except we sat down and ordered only to find out they had run out of both. I seriously think our waiter should have offered us the bottles or a different generic beer for $3 a pop to make up for this. I honestly thing its BS that a restaurant wouldn't try to make up for their lack of all advertised specials. Regardless- fried calamari was amazing with a pineapple glaze, and the buffalo wings were also scrumptious. The restaurant itself was super nice on the inside, and the bathrooms were really clean and nicely decorated. Would definitely be back if I return to the big E.

Stopped in for their Sunday Brunch yesterday with my Mom and sister. We were one of the first parties to arrive to an almost empty restaurant. I ordered their Spicy Chicken Benedict which comes with Sweet Potatoes Hash but they were out of the Sweet Potatoes (first customers of the day and out of a key component of the dish). They offered to swap the potatoes for regular which I agreed to. When my plate came out the poached eggs on top were steaming but the food underneath, particularly the potatoes, were like ice. I didn't feel like complaining and having to wait for a new meal while my party ate so I used the heat from the eggs to add a little warmth to my meal but hardly enjoyed it. My whole party was excited to try out Lattitude and overall none of us were very satisfied with our food when we left. UPDATE: I did visit Lattitude for dinner recently for a birthday party. My dinner dining experience was much better with good bread and nice appetizers. My dish came with a white sweet potato mash that was delicious. I won't try them again for brunch but I may be back for dinner.

I went to this restaurant as a corporate event. I would be looking forward to attending with just my wife. I had a variety of foods. Their buffalo Mac and Cheese is amazing. I had the rare tuna and it was to die for. Parking is ok and I would recommend avoiding this place during the Big E. It must be a nightmare during that time. An amazing date night experience at all other times.

The bf and I took a trip to six flags and were looking for something not fried after a day at the park and had a great meal here. The crab cake special was delicious! The pizza was very good, we also got the duck wings but they were kind of eh. The band was amazing! Definitely recommended!

Awesome food love the environment. My wife and I have come here every year for our anniversary. Great staff, upon arriving we were greeted right away we made reservations via "YELP" were asked if it was our first time we explained that this is our anniversary they said congrats and then the host a little later came back with a complimentary bottle of champagne, it was very nice of them. Good drinks, my wife had the mango martini which she loved I stuck with the champagne and water... Designated driver:) Awesome food, we had the apps of course Brussels and calamari awesome. We had the veal chops that were tender and the pumpkin ravioli with sea scallops so good. It was another great experience at latitudes

I'm definitely a fan of Lattitude. I've eaten here 6 times in as many years, and I've never been disappointed. The cocktail and wine selection is good, the appetizers are tasty, (try the roasted Brussels sprouts for a real treat!) entrees are always wonderful, and the desserts are good too. The only downside is that the dining room is small, and they maximize space by crowding the tables so tightly that you kind of feel like you're sharing your table with strangers. It's loud, and there is no privacy unless you're in a booth, but there aren't many of those. My advice is to go on a weeknight, when it's typically less crowded, for the best atmosphere.

Terrific lunch before the World Percheron Congress at Big E. Impeccable service, fried brussels sprouts that I would drive 90 minutes from home to enjoy again, varied menu and spotless restrooms. Great value and beats hotdogs from across the street. Cannot wait to return.

Ah-mazing. Went with a group of ladies from work and we had a blast. We had the private room in the back and Fred was our server. I don't know where to begin. This is one of my favorite restaurants in the Valley. I've been coming regularly since Chef Jeffrey opened up shop with a small dining space and cramped bar in a nondescript building located on the main drag through WestSide. Being along for the ride and witnessing the evolution from a small bistro serving food not typically found anywhere else around here into the destination it has become has been exciting. Latitude now offers an event hall, double the dining space than they started with and has a beautifully crafted patio space that features a gas fired firepit and live music when the weather is ideal. Despite the increase in table space, I still highly recommend getting a reservation, especially on prime evenings like Fridays or Saturdays. I've never had a bad meal here. Chef is a master at designing delicious fish based plates featuring Ahi Tuna, Swordfish or Salmon and also crafts some great beef and pork offerings. I absolutely love the Cider Brined bone-in pork chop. Beer snob grade: A to B+ depending on the evening. The draft menu and bottle list changes often. There's always something local available. When in doubt, Berkshire Brewing Steel Rail is a safe choice. They do carry Bud Light cans, but I think that's just as a joke. No one orders that swill. There's a broad array of girlie frou-frou martinis too as well as some top shelf liquors and cordials. I don't usually partake in those but you should be aware they exist. Latitude isn't a bad spot to stop at later in an evening, even if you didn't eat dinner here. One thing to note; this establishment is much nicer than most so please wear something a little nicer than the dirty jeans you spent all day wrenching on your Trans-Am or John Deere in. That's right, I'm looking in your direction mister less-than-classy patron from my last visit. Service here? Nothing short of first class. I don't believe any of the other reviews stating they had poor service. That's not in this place's repertoire. If you felt you had poor service, it's probably because you're an uppity so and so and you forgot servers are humans too. Sometimes mistakes happen. It goes without saying but I'll state it anyway just like everyone else has already...get the Brussels sprouts. If you can't agree this is one of the gems of the valley, I will fight you. That's no lie.

One of our go to date night spots. Food is always consistent and delicious. Above the food I have to say the service is amazing. Grapefruit martinis are to die for. Their outdoor patio is beautiful and we usually opt to seat outdoors during nice weather. Never leave disappointed!

I've driven by this place several times on my way to visit a friend's spa to get my eyebrows done. It always looked like the people inside were having a good time chatting over wine and I am one who avidly loves to chat over wine. I finally got to go for the first time and enjoyed the food (fried brussel sprouts), the wine and the attentive service. Until... About half an hour into our visit, a large, obnoxiously loud, obnoxiously drunk crowd of over-45 entitled fancy pants people started to build in the bar area. Most of them must have already been drinking before they came here. You know how the drunker people get the louder their voices? Well, the women of this group talked in screeching, nails-on-chalkboard, high enough to break glass and make dolphins' ears bleed voices. Don't get me started on the drunken cackling that made me wince for the next hour. Now imagine a group of them about two feet behind you. Yeah...fun. At one point, one of the ladies was fully leaning on the back of my chair. I couldn't even sit fully in my chair because she apparently owned the back of my chair. Like her group thought they owned the bar. When I pulled her hand off the back of my chair, she loudly, obnoxiously (drunkenly) commented that I took her hand off the back of my chair. Oh my god, how dare I?! Yes, you snobby drunk witch. Your hand doesn't belong on the back of my chair. My back does. Another one of her friends yelled something obnoxious and I just ignored it, trying to have a nice night out even though there was screeching laughter and drunken loud antics going on two feet behind me. When we got there, it was nice and quiet. Then this crowd rolled in and we couldn't hear ourselves talk. Others sitting at the bar kept staring at this group. I had my back to them so I only had the expressions of other diners' faces to go by what was happening behind me. Everyone watching them looked disgusted. At one point, the server asked me if I wanted anything else. I had to ask her to repeat herself twice as I couldn't hear her over the drunken mob. I answered, "Yes. You can get rid of the loud obnoxious drunk crowd behind me." Lattitude: Epic Fail. Bounce the stupid drunk old people out of the bar so the rest of us can actually enjoy our frigging drinks and food in a semblance of peace.

Went to latitudes for dinner. Sat on the restaurant side, party of four. Wait staff was very attentive and we had quick service for the quality of food. Appetizers came out piping hot. The Brussels sprouts were crispy, and the aioli was a solid flavor match. The calamari was good too. The sauce on it was similar to a general tsao, but the pineapple's sweetness and acidity helped make the flavor better than a general tsao. The only negative was that the sauce made the calamari more soggy than crispy. For dinner I had the duck 2 ways. It was cooked a perfect medium rare, and tasted great. It was four slices of breast, over a grain with goat cheese, and asparagus. My wife's tenderloin was crazy tender, and cooked perfect. We had an additional steak, which was also great, and a seafood piaya which was full of mussels, clams andouille sausage and shrimp. I would come here again.

Latitude is a hipper and slightly cheaper alternative to The Federal when it comes to fine dining in the area. You can tell business is booming as they have a lot of separate rooms that seem to have been added onto the building recently, and a big function room with its own bar that looks under construction. The food is expensive but good, and though I'd say the value is worth it I don't understand why there's basically nothing on the menu between $15-25. The small plates are mostly single-digit prices and the entrees are through the roof, which caused my whole party to just order appetizers when I went the most recent time. At that price level I'd only come for special occasions even though I'd want to come more often, though maybe they do enough business that who cares?

You can't get better than this in West Springfield. Have been several times, most recently as group of 8 for business lunch. Each time has been more enjoyable than the last. Great menu with fantastic choices. Of course you always have to start with the Brussels sprouts but try the calamari also. My fave salad is the teriyaki salmon. Large portion with the freshest edamame and perfectly seasoned artichokes. Very generous portions. To add to the great food is fantastic service. If I could go every day, I absolutely would. Only reason for a 4 star and not 5 is due to the cramped seating.

We made on online reservation. Which was easy via Yelpl. We arrived and we were promptly seated. Our waitress was right on point. We had 2 other employees check on our needs as well. We started with the brussel sprouts which were heavenly. We both had the Red Snapper over Couscous. It was just the right portion for both of us. We will definitely return!

I've been here a few times and I always leave this restaurant nothing short of amazed. Our server Brooke greeted us right away and suggested drinks and was extremely knowledgeable of the menu. She answered all of our questions without skipping a beat. We started off with the fried brussel sprouts which were cooked perfectly and couldn't get enough of the sauce it was served with. My boyfriend got the Ahi Tuna while I got the scallops. My scallops melted in my mouth and the kitchen staff accommodated the dish to my liking. (I switched out a component of the meal for asparagus.) The manager came by to see how our meals were which impressed us. We were so happy with our experience we decided to stay for two more drinks after we cashed out. Excellent service by Brooke and hats off to the chef and kitchen staff. Lately it is hard to find top notch service and food all in one place, but it is found here.

Surprisingly nice environment for Springfield, MA!! Staff was nice and friendly. Menu could be a little more diverse. (There's 6 salads that differ very little) overall I'd come back if ever in the area

There can be no finer restaurant ! When I'm in the area I always have to treat myself to an unbelievable lunch. Usually it's their Grilled Scallops Salad, but today I dined on the Teriyaki Salmon Cobb Salad. Just remarkable ! I always have outstanding service and the owner is hands on - usually right in the heat of the battle in the kitchen. My server today was Aaron - great service - I chose a seat at the bar which allowed me to peak into the kitchen area and see the activity and witness other great lunch entrees heading to their tables. Next time in I must try their Grilled Lamb Sliders or the Surf and Turf Sirloin Wrap. Always a great dining experience !

My husband and I went here for lunch and we loved it! What a great find! Service was great - our waitress was attentive and friendly. We ordered the fried brussels sprouts appetizer and it came out blazingly fast! And my gosh was it delicious. I wasn't sure what to expect, I mean, it's brussels sprouts after all, but this is the way to eat brussels! For an entree I had the buffalo chicken mac and cheese. This dish is very, very rich and very, very good. My husband had the open faced tuna sandwich which had fried avocado, brussel slaw and an egg on top. He devoured it and deemed it one of the best meals he has had in a very long time. We're so happy we found this restaurant and will definitely be back!

Great atmosphere and great food! I prefer the lunches over the dinners. Their chop salad with steak is great! They have a solid cocktail menu as well.

My expectations were high going here for the first time, and maybe that was my mistake. The service was excellent, and the atmosphere is pretty good though a little noisy. The food was just okay, I had the duck two ways and did not find much drama in the preparation. I was expecting the fatty portion to take advantage of the opportunity to crisp the fat to create some excitement in the difference between the way the breast meat & thigh meat feel on the pallet and to the bite. This one just came off as simply soft fat. That being said, the flavor was good though, and it was cooked properly to order. It's probably not fair to count them out after one meal, but with other amazing choices in the Valley it's hard to justify a second visit for me. Maybe if I'm in the neighborhood and someone else is buying!

I went in around 8pm on a Tuesday, thinking the place would be empty - not so much, actually quite the opposite, the place was full and people kept coming in. The inside of the restaurant just does not match the area of town it's located in, you would never guess. I went really basic, I didn't even have a drink (I was probably the only person in the whole place who didn't), but I was really pleased with the food. Good portion, well cooked, creative, beautiful food. The service was attentive but not overbearing. I'd definitely go back again and again. A note to the cost - at $22-30+/plate, this ranges to the more expensive places in town. But it's about on par with a hotel restaurant and the food is about a zillion times better. I managed to spend about $35 on just a salad and dinner - NO drinks, apps, dessert...for one person.

After reading the reviews we had to check this place out. Everyone was right on the mark with the fried brussels sprouts awesome. I also had the tomato and mozzarella salad. My only complaint was they needed more mozzarella. I had the lobster mac and cheese which wasn't your traditional mac and cheese but was amazing. We also had the fried chicken, it was good but that is a dish I prefer more traditional with the flour crust. This one had a cornmeal crust. It was very good just not my cup of tea:) I also have to comment on the Pablo gin and juice, i am more of a wine and beer drinker but this drink was so refreshing and delish:)

I went there for dinner with a large party the other night. They were full to the brim when we arrived (as other reviewers have said) but they put us in a private room, and the staff were attentive and friendly. First off, the appetizers were wonderful. The fried brussel spouts and cheese platters were amazing and the side of bacon mac n cheese was particularly noteworthy. The cocktails (I had a pineapple upside down cake) were super tasty. Unfortunately, the main course is where they failed me. Now, I have never met a lamb I didn't like, and it's actually one of my favourite dishes! But even though I ordered it medium, it came out well-done. It was particularly gamey and not at all tender. In fact, the edges were tough!! Who cooks lamb to that point?! *sigh* The endive salad was flavourless with a hint of sourness that made it inedible, and the pita was NOT pita...it was more like matzah. I dislike matzah, but wet matzah (which this was, as it had been sitting under everything, even the veg) actually can make me lose my appetite completely. I could only eat about half the lamb before I pushed away my plate. I also had a side of spinach, which I usually can't get enough of! I don't know if the spinach wasn't washed properly or if it was old...it looked all right but left an unpleasant powdery taste in my mouth (I think from an excess of oxalic acid?). Anyway, everything after the appetizers for me was wholly unpleasant and disappointing. Now, to be fair, the server did ask if everything was ok...so I should have sent it back or said something and given them a chance, but I didn't want to seem picky in front of others. If I had paid for the dinner, and not the company, I would have been pretty upset. To Lattitude's credit, everyone else was pretty satisfied and my boyfriend, who had some sort of beef tenderloin on top of mash, totally cleared his plate. A lot of people in the party ordered a seafood hotpot and they were definitely satisfied. I guess the scallops must have been good too, as they were out for the night. Unfortunately my own main course was less than spectacular and I guess that's why I gave it a middling rating.

I am always happy to find a 'very good' restaurant in the Greater Springfield area. While this restaurant is not in a hip, energetic neighborhood, it is easy to get to with easy parking. The interior design of the restaurant is mediocre but clean and welcoming. The restaurant was packed, which is a a great sign especially on a weekday. The service and food were both above average. My salad (hand clipped organic green) and the desert (chocolate chip brownie sundae) were both excellent and my entree (shrimp, lobster hot pot) was very good. The only thing I would have liked to have seen on the menu is at least one or two healthy (low carb, high fiber, light sauce simple non-fish dishes). I would highly recommend this place and I look foreword to going back there!

Solid, inspired, and thouraly original new american fare. Stoped here for lunch while in route from Vermont to NYC. We had the bacon wraped salmon over mushrooms and risoto & the bufalo chicken mac'n cheese. The decor was current with an urban feel. Best pit stop ever!

If you are on the horse show circuit and travel to the "Big E" a couple of times of year, you know Lattitude. Went there for the third time last night before my evening competition. Early Thursday night and the place as packed...not with the horse show crowd but with locals. We didn't have a resie but after like 10 minutes of hmmming and hawing, they were able to seat our table of four in the main dining room. I love the fried brussell sprouts appetizer but it doesn't love me so I skipped it last night. I had a glass of the Charles & Charles blend (Cab and Merlot...very yummy) and the halibut special which was served with a miso dressing, almonds, tomatoes, rice and spinach. Delicious! I tried some of the truffle fries of my dining companion...delicious, warm, full of flavor. One of my companions had ther encrusted ahi tuna which is her go to staple at Lattitude. The other two both ordered the sirloin flatbread which looks like a pizza. They were both happy with their choices. I was sort of hungry when I left so in hindsight, I should have ordered a small chop chop salad. Our server (who's name I didn't keep...I never do) was excellent, very prompt and always there when we needed her. I placed second in my competition so I will be back to Lattitude tomorrow night before my championship class!

Holy BRUSSEL SPROUTS BATMAN! Stop the presses! Yes, I said brussel spouts - deep fried in soy oil... We stopped in on our way to Troy, looking for some quick eats with personality... We only had appetizers, and let me tell you, this chef owned and operated restaurant is a GEM. It will be a stomping ground on our way to Troy anytime! We envied the lunch crowd as we watched amazing entrees pass us by, and then could hear the "oooohhhsss and aaaaahhhssss". Fried brussel sprout - I'm telling you, you will become a believer! Washed down with a purple grape martini (ooooohhhh, aaaaahhhh), a side of his sweet, sour and delectable calamari and some oysters... What a treat! The only disappointing dish was his steak pizza - great crust, lotsa cheese, but a bit on the bland side. I think a drizzle of chimichurri or pesto would take this bar favorite to the right level. However, Lattitude is truly a great place to stop, clean, great decor and really fit for foodies eats in hearty portions!

I recently went here for my birthday. We had a party of 15. The reservations were spot on and they werer excellent about accomodating my changes in the number of guests! The service was excellent and the food was amazing! We had multiple different appetizers and specialty drinks! I has the ahi tuna and it was to die for. The fried brussel sprouts were also delicious. Our servers name was Brooke and she was great. It takes a lot to impress me when it comes to restaurants, but Lattitude definitely gets my approval!

We're from out of town and found this fantastic restaurant on Yelp to begin with so I had to come back and add our stellar review. The restaurant has a very comfortable atmosphere. The staff are all very friendly and helpful and quick to offer suggestions and or advice for newcomers. Our waitress pointed out that the menu changes with the season so you can find new dishes every few weeks. We had read about their "fried brussel sprouts" and were not disappointed in the least. I have never been a fan of this sprout but loved the taste of the sea salt and the texture the frying process adds to them. They were delicious both with the aioli dipping sauce or naked. I had the beef tournedos and shrimp dish - the meat was tender and cooked to perfection at medium-rare. The shrimp were firm and crisp and delicious as well. The plate comes with garlicky spinach and sweet onion mashed potatoes as well. Each bite is worthy of being savored and I took my time getting through the dish. My husband had the scallops - they were just as delicious and done perfectly well that all 10 were the same temperature and consistency. The pasta in the dish were all cooked correctly and the sauce was fantastic with the dish as well as soaked up with the fresh baked bread they serve. We finished off our visit with dessert, of course. I had the peppermint creme brulee and my husband had a jumbo chocolate chip cookie. The mint flavor in the brulee was enjoyable and not overwhelming and made the dessert a nice finish to the meal. The cookie looked fantasic - my husband lacks a sweet tooth but still ordered something off the dessert menu because dinner had been so good. Neither my husband nor I are wine drinkers but the assortment of choices for wine, beer and martinis was impressive. I would highly recommend you visit this restaurant if you're in the Springfield area.

Since the owner is also the cook (a very good cook) I knew this place would have great food. Food was very thoughtfully prepared, cooked correctly, and nicely presented. I wanted to give 4.5 stars but can't using this 5 star rating system. The only issue I had here was being jammed into a rather crowded & noisy space (while there was an empty other dining room in plain sight). But I guess it is crowded because everyone wants to eat here. Noise died down after a few tables left.

Went for lunch, and boy was it delicious. We ended up sitting in the bar, because there was some sort of function going on in the dining room. It's quaint enough to enjoy a nice night out with a friend or two, and also set up very nicely if you want to come by with a group and indulge in a few pints. We started with the fried brussels sprouts. Holy amazing. And everyone knows it too, because I swear, every group had one. They are crispy, and oily enough to feel bad, but not disgustingly greasy or heavy. The aioli they're served with is magically sweet, and rich enough to make you want more, and more, and more.... For my entree, I had the (POINT JUDITH!!) calamari. Most places can never understand calamari, and it comes out rubbery and disgusting. This calamari was cooked perfectly. They pan flash it for a few minutes, and serve it "asian" style. It's tangy and the edamame gives it a really nice, crisp edge. My husband had the fish sandwich, which unfortunately, arrived 15 minutes after my entree. However, they apologized, bought us a beer, and it was quickly forgotten. Especially once we tasted the sandwich. The whitefish did not have any of that icky grey matter that results from over frying. It was delicately battered (almost like a tempura) and cooked perfectly. SOOO GOOD!! I also love that they source locally - extra points for that. I can't wait to come back for dinner, or even another lunch!

I like this place for lunch. The scallops and burger are two great dishes. My son loves the fried Brussel sprouts. With the Big E coming up Lattitude is a calm respite from the noise of the fair too. They serve dinner here but I have not tried that.

I was I'm the area, saw the pics & reviews here on yelps. This is a place everyone must come by and experience. The food is delicious. The waiter is knowledgeable and even gave us a sample of an appetizer to try. The menu is created daily. The food is beyond amazing! This will definitely become one of my regular places to come and eat.

Love this place! Practically live here... The menu for lunch/dinner always has solid options. The cucumber mojoto, bread pudding and salmon cobb kick a**!!! The wife is obsessed with the buff mac and cheese.

Had a bereavement gathering for the passing of my father in law at lattitude. Erin the event coordinated was so wonderful and understanding. The food was delicious! My party and I arrived early and the staff was more than accommodating. Thank you lattitude so much for supplying us with an excellent meal and beautiful seating area, it made this sad day a little brighter.

For our crazy group he was impeccably kind, accommodating, and had a spectacular sense of humor. The food was 5 star perfection and i would definitely eat here again'

Love this place! Practically live here... The menu for lunch/dinner always has solid options. The cucumber mojoto, bread pudding and salmon cobb kick a**!!! The wife is obsessed with the buff mac and cheese.

Menu is creative and delicious, atmosphere is contemporary and cool. Tables are kind of close, but not crazy. Even if you think you hate Brussel sprouts, try their fried Brussels sprouts appetizer; it's amazing!

Great place for lunch. Service is quick and staff is great. Atmoshphere is awesome. Haven't been for dinner yet but it's coming. Prices are perfect and it's easily accesible from the highway and all points in the Pioneer Valley.

I like this place for lunch. The scallops and burger are two great dishes. My son loves the fried Brussel sprouts. With the Big E coming up Lattitude is a calm respite from the noise of the fair too. They serve dinner here but I have not tried that.

  • Karin O.

Our first time. Overall we enjoyed it. It was very busy so it did feel a little cramped. Our waitress was very good. The main problem was the kitchen. We sat down right before 7pm and didn't get our food until after 8pm. I would try dinner here again.

Was here again for lunch recently and the service was unbelievably slow. Food still great though.

For NYC boy on vacation, I didn't have high hopes for this country bumpkin place. The burger was amazing. High quality meat and perfectly prepared. The atmosphere is likely impressive to locals.

Customer service was ok. I ordered a Caesar salad and it was not your typical Caesar, it had a fried egg and no parmacean cheese . Mac and cheese was great and the drink prices were pretty decent.
