Picking a pizza place to grab some lunch from during the summer can be a pretty dicey proposition. Sometimes you get a tiny, dirty place where the owner is too cheap to turn on the AC so they'll just open up the front door to let in the flies. Nothing is worse than trying to eat a pizza in a place that's as warm as an oven. Luckily King's Oak is not one of those types of places. King's Oak Pizza is cool, clean, and spacious. It's the perfect place to get out of the summer's heat to enjoy your meal and watch some tv on the flatscreen they have in the corner. The woman behind the counter is very friendly and the food comes out fast. The food is also pretty good. The steak and cheese is my go to lunch. The bread is toasted perfectly and it's stuffed with steak.

A great improvement over the previous owners. A little bit more time and I think this place will do well. The pizza and calzone were ok.....Not great but ok. The place is clean and you can see right into the kitchen to see them cooking.

Delicious pizza, great prices and such nice people working there. We got a mushroom, meatball and olive pizza well done and it couldn't have been better. Plus, they have coupons so we got a free small cheese pizza, two sodas and a good sized salad all for $17 bucks, And they deliver. Awesome.

Fine place for pizza or fish and chips. I usually go for pickup as it's close to my folks home in Pawtucket. Can't say I'm a big fan of their clam cakes. They are tasty and not too heavy or greasy, but they could be more generous with the amount of clams! That doesn't stop me from ordering them, however.

Just picked up an order of fish and chips, shrimp dinner, 6 clam cakes and an italian sub. It sucked. The french fries were so undercooked I had to put them in the oven, which meant the fish and shrimp had to also be reheated. If I wanted to cook dinner I wouldn't have ordered out. Cole Slaw and Tartar sauce was terrible. The shrimp I found out is frozen and not fresh. I called the manager, Melanie, to complain and she said sorry but it is a pizza place and they can't do shrimp from scratch. I would say no stars. As I was talking to her it was a busy friday night and I was tired of her excuses for a lousy $26.00 take out. I can cook bad food at home, it is supposed to be a treat to get takeout.

Clean. Good service. Better than average. Good Fish-n-Chips. Theirs is the puffy light batter style nice and crispy. Much better than the breaded version than clings to the fish. Generous portion. Fresh fish. The clamcakes are inconsistent- sometimes very good, but are missing a little something that would make them great. The last time I was there they sucked. No clams whatsoever. They tasted like pancake balls. The red chowder is also very good, but is just too watery and diluted to be really great. This is not a 4-star restaurant. They rate 4 stars within their class. They do a crazy take-out business, but it fortunately does not slow down service if you eat in. Atmosphere. It's like uncle bob's rumpus room. The dining area has harsh fluorescent lights, wood paneling and a tv in the corner. Seats are hard and you can't move the tables so if you come with a group larger than 4, you'll be split up a little. Bathrooms Bathroom gets a B-. It's a 'one-r' unisex type deal. Women would probably give it a D. They have different standards. :-)
