If Moroccan-pizza-middle-eastern-rotisserie-burger dive were an actual type of restaurant, this place would be as authentic as you can get. Unfortunately, it is not, but you can still treat yourself to the smörgåsbord of a menu here: moroccan pastilla, tagine, burgers, cheese steaks, shawarma, and middle eastern mezze (e.g., hummus, beet salad). For those brave enough, they even have seafood (scallops and calamari). I personally only had the chicken shawarma, but it was the best I've had in all of Boston. Really really juicy (they don't make it on an authentic shawarma rotisserie, but rather stir fried on a pan), slathered in white sauce, TOASTED (which is a huge plus) and with some unique touches i've never seen on a shawarma (olives!-- must be a Moroccan thing). It was good enough to get this place 4 stars (knock one for the ambiance) and make me eager to come back for more. The vibe is super casual cafe with lots of kids walking around. Seems to be frequented by the local moroccan / middle eastern community, with world cup soccer on arabic satellite on the flatscreen. Quite full on a random Saturday late afternoon-- a good sign that authentic middle eastern palates approve. And, btw, the meat is halal!

I really love this place. It feels like home. Everyone is friendly and the food tastes great. It could use a renovation project but overall it's great.

We ordered special of the day, it was fish tagine Moroccan style, it was really good and the chicken sandwich and soup was good, but the 4 choices salad was not good, at all the potato and spiced carrots was tasting old. We spoke to the guy who takes orders, he took it of the bill but he insisted that it was made the same day. I would go back again to this place.
