Disclosure: Only lost a star because I am not a huge fan of the "gooey" pizzas...I am a diehard thin crust fan. That being said, I love this place. The calzones are some of the best around...better than Plum Tomatoes, better than Omega, and better than Fauccis. They always make whatever I ask for, even if it is not on the menu (ie chicken finger and cheese)...without even a grumble. Love the bread they use on the subs (lovin the steak and cheese), and am a big fan of their fries. Great price, great service, great food. Just wish they went thin-crust...

Food is decent, nothing to praise about, but the service is terrible and they don't known how to prioritize orders. We waited about a half hour for 1 sub and after asking them what happened their response was we had another larger order we are sorry.

Food is similair to any other deli/roastbeef place.

Probably a rather lame review as I've only had the Gyros sandwich from Greg's, but I have had it 4-5 times. And, others in my office have ordered other items and had good things to say. Now, back to the Gyros. It's great. Not only is the quality very good but they dont skimp on the meat portion like some restaurants do. It's not an easy ride to get to Greg's for lunch from my office but it is worth the trip.

Very good breakfast and breakfast sandwiches. Service was very good. Chicken fingers, pizza and subs have also been good - with a good price.

I came to Greg's Deli to grab something quick to eat on my lunch break. The counter service was fast and I didn't have to wait in line more than 2 minutes. I ordered the chicken kebob salad, and they were willing to let me customize it the way I like. It took about 10 minutes for my order to be ready, although I didn't mind waiting, as it meant the chicken was freshly cooked and not sitting around all day. The salad was good, your basic garden salad (ice berg, tomato, cucumber) with feta and marinated chicken. The portion of chicken breast was huge! Much bigger than most places serve, which was nice as the salad was in the typical $8 range. The Greek dressing was creamy, although tasted like a store-bought dressing. I'll be back for a quick lunch again.

The first time I went to Gregs was a couple years ago on the recommendation from a coworker. I told him I was going to get a calzone. He warned me to only get a small and that there was no way I could eat even that. He was right. I could only eat half of the small before conceding defeat. Some of the best calzone I've ever had. The buffalo chicken calzone is my favorite. The subs are great as well.

Nice! 2 for 2 with my recent pizza finds! Food, like so many things, is directly related to memories. My favorite pizza place as a kid was the now defunct Pizza Etc. in Bernadston MA. Giovanni's in Peabody is very similar to this. As a teenager/adult, nothing can beat Village Pizza in Greenfield, MA. Well, Greg's Deli has come very close! This is the more gooey style of pizza. The pieces at Greg's are actually kind of small, but there's so much cheese and toppings they look twice as big. The place, while "off the beaten path" (it's in an industrial park) is quite popular and very nice. I think most people pick up their food and go back to their offices, but this would not be a bad place to eat with some buddies. Reccomend!

I would give them 6, if I were allowed. Service, location, quality food, reasonable prices and variety are what have made me a loyal customer.

What an interesting deli/pizza shop. It's small and tiny and it's located at some odd place- not very noticeable at all. However, their food is fantastic. Not anything fancy, but really good sandwiches, pizzas, salads, etc. I was hesitant to try this place and I couldn't find any reviews. I have heard good things about it by locals in the area... Well, I'm really glad I tried it out. It was definately worth it. Great price too. I can't wait to go back... For some reason, this place reminds me of Chedders in Cambridge, which is another one of my favorites!
