Of all places all over the planet, this is one of the best. Atmosphere (always a Sox game on), ownership (the brothers add their own brand of flavor), taste (can't say enough about the Greek salad and pizza), and location (right on Onset beach). Take cash (they don't take plastic), but otherwise, it's perfect. Hope they never change a thing. Love you guys.

I was in town for the weekend visiting family when a friend of my aunt suggested that I try it before heading back home to Dallas. I ate here the night before I left and I must say that I was VERY impressed! The pizza was amazing & in my opinion better than anything we have at home! I can't wait to go back and get another pepperoni and meatball pizza

This place is awesome! We found them by searching on yelp after working in the area... called in an order just before they closed. Not only was everything we ordered delicious, the staff was all really friendly and accommodating.

Been coming here since I was young. The brothers are still here setting the bar on cape cod food. Fantastic east coast floppy pizza great steak sandwiches and a menu to die for. You can't beat it. They have never let me down!! I hope they are here for evwr

Thank you Marc Anthony's for making pizza nearly as good as NYC pizza. Stopped in for lunch before hitting up the bay for a 2 hour kayaking adventure. Ordered a large cheese and saw it disappear within minutes. I was also accompanied by 3 dudes who are the culprits of the pizza inhaling. Marc Anthony's was so good we ended up ordering delivery of 4 pies the next night. Yum

When someone says pizza, I think of Marc Anthony's! I take all my friends to this place. Not only do I love the food but the atmosphere is just so relaxed and fun.

My husband and his family have been coming here for years. He LOVES their pizza and pasta. They have a ton of seating. It can get super busy in the summer month. There isn't any parking. We typically call it in for pick up.

Great pizza/sub shop. We have a summer house right down the street and its nice to have a better than average pizza/sandwich place to get some food. They are also open until 12:00AM, which is unusual for some of the towns in the area. They have like 5 beers on tap if you decide to eat in (maybe more I never really counted) They have great chicken cutlet, I am assuming its homemade. Their pizza is also pretty good, thin but the crust is kind of puffy and perfectly crispy. Steak and cheese is another favorite of mine, shaved steak with a ton of cheese. I usually go wth a chicken parm sub or a steak and cheese.

An excellent delivery tonight, a perfect large pizza, with onions and a perfect crust and just wonderful sauce. Truly a great pizza!

I just visited Marc Anthony's this weekend and it was soo good, the pizza was delicious. The place is definitely loud and hectic but over all was great. Would def go back.

Great pizza, great pita bread, friendly vibe and community seating. Love the combo pizza. If you want to make the best sandwich at home get some pita to go. They cook some pizza dough like pita, but it is much, much better than any pita you've had. The owner is a curmudgeon, but that's part of the fun and charm. Don't forget to bring the kiddies to his candy store 2 doors down!

Came to this place for pizza on our last night in town. Will NEVER go back. Staff was rude, music was extremely loud and the customers felt it necessary to yell and use profanity!! Left with headache and upset stomach! The kicker is I'm from Philly and this place annoyed me. That has to say something!

The food is great it gets busy but they move you through and you can watch them hand toss the pies. They have pitchers of beer and soda and a few video games. I give this place a 4 star but the fact that Marc Anthony's does so much for youth sports I'm bumping them up a star for their benevolence.

Really good pizza and Greek salad! This place has a lot of character with its family style seating and memorabilia on the walls. There is also an arcade for the kids at the back of the restaurant. I like the fact we can get pitchers of beer with our pizza, as well as wine by the glass. Baked pasta dishes are one of my favorites, and they have good Italian sausage and peppers. Great place for take out when unexpected guest arrive and we don't want to cook.

We went to the restaurant on the last night of our week's vacation. My adult sons orders a pepperoni, onion, xtra-cheese, and basil pizza; my wife and I ordered onion, pepper, and jalapenos. Crust was medium thin and crunchy. Sauce was flavorful, Perfect amount of cheese and toppings. Pizza was so good we got carry out the following day for brunch prior to our drive home. Place was packed all week long--they move pizzas and have a lot of thru-put with the tables. Pretty good beer selection. Thoroughly enjoyed our experience. We'll be back if we're in the Onset or Cape area.

If you're not from the area, you might be confused about what I'm about to say. Yes, Marc Anthony's is loud, a little crass, dingy looking, whatever... But that is all part of the experience. These folks know what they are doing. The pizza is awesome. I have never had a better pizza than Marc Anthony's! Tourists, if you're looking for a quaint and polite pizzeria, this is not the place for you...but you'll be missing out!

Love this place! I go to MA every two or three years to visit my best friend. When we were in HS, her parents would always have their pizza delivered. I always remember how good the pizza was. I was in MA last month and we went to onset for the afternoon. We had to come here. It was just as good as I remember. And the staff is nice and the building is pretty cool. Now if they would just deliver to California...

This satisfied my pizza craving just fine! Thin crust, cheesy pepperoni is my favorite and so I downed 4 slices. It's a fun place with some games to play.....pac man, car racing.

The pizza is delicious. For anyone that knows "Zack's Pizza" in Randolph, there pizza is very similar. Think crispy crust, huge slices, an amazing sloppy, gooey, tasty cheese that melts just right and a sauce that compliments the cheese and dough perfectly. When I went the customer service was great. I did go at about 8pm in the Fall, but nonetheless the staff was pleasant, and are pies were ready at the exact time quoted. I live about 35 minutes away and have thought about driving to get some Marc Anthony's pizza a couple of times, but haven't yet. If you like big thin slices, you gotta check this place out ;)

Caroline J.
I mean - this place is fantastic! I'm so annoyed by all the reviews who gave it a 1-star because of customer service. When you call an order, yes, the guy (who I think is one of the owners) says "YEAH - " takes your order and then says "15 MINUTES" and hangs up. He's not calling you names. Relax. The pizza here is spot on. The best. Their whole cheese to sauce ratio is perfect, and their sauce is yummy! As with most people, I've eaten a lot of pizza in my day, and this is still the best. Whenever my friends come to visit we always have to get take-out from here because they crave it. Whenever I go visit my parents, I have to bring a pizza with me. It's actually more of a curse than a blessing to live so close to this place. The only bad part about MA's is the crowds in the summer time. I can't speak to any other food except their pizza because it's all I get, but you should never hesitate to try it. I have also had their fried dough and it was pretty spectacular as well.

The people working there are rude and abrasive and the food is no better than frozen pizza and jarred sauce. I had a question about a food allergy and the man on the phone dismissed my question and hung up on me twice.
(1)
Megan P.
The food is pretty good overall, but the service, is deplorable. When I call to place my order over the phone, I'm often greeted with someone who seems preoccupied, short-tempered, and ill-mannered. The last meal I ordered here was an Italian sub with no onions. When I received my sub, all it had on it was meat! -no lettuce, no tomatoes, no pickles... What kind of Italian sub is that? I prefer Santotos...

I recently moved to Wareham, and MA's seems well known to many. The pizza was better than average. I prefer a traditional italian thin crust, and this place does it well. I wish I had ordered well done as it was a little soft for my personal taste. It was better reheated the next day. As to the reviews about the staff being rude. I have to disagree. The women who cashed me out was polite. And the owner was making the pies, and took a moment to walk over and thank me for my patronage. His gratitude was genuine, and I know he didn't need to do that. Perhaps the treatment is different when you order pies from them in February. My only problem. No credit cards. It's 2014 guys... get with it.

This is some of the best pizza I've ever had. If you're looking for a classy, quiet place, then don't go here! It's enjoyable for the locals, but it might not be a perfect fit for some tourists. On Friday nights, it's loud, they're blasting music, and the service is slow(because they have to make the pizza and there's a crowd). So, if you want to get out of the house and grab a bite to eat, come here! If you are VERY impatient, then do not come here on weekends, or during the summer. It is packed. Overall, they have excellent food, and it always comes out fresh (I've burned my tounge various times). Plus, there's Nana's Ice Cream Parlor down the street, if you have enough room after the pizza. I highly recommend coming here.
(4)

The two reasons it gets a 4 instead of a 5 no credit cards excepted and delivery is almost always cold. That being said they have the best pizza in the south shore and if you go there you will feel like It's 1980. Again. We eat there 3 times a month and would tell anyone to eat there with confidence.

Pizza, fries, subs and onion rings are great. Best NY style pizza in SE Mass. The staff is friendly and they turn out the orders quickly. I try to get here at least once a month during the summer. Awesome food and friendly people

I have ordered from here a few times, and I am never going back. The last time I called to order delivery, and the man who picked up was EXTREMELY rude and rushed me off the phone, refusing to answer my questions or give me the total. I called back and asked to speak to a manager, because I wanted to talk to someone who wasn't rude or pushy. It turns out the guy who picked up owns this place, and when I gave him feedback about the way he treated me, and told him that his rudeness turned me away from patronizing his business, he insulted me and hung up the phone on me! I was nothing but polite, especially in trying to give him feedback from a customer's point of view, and he responds by insulting me, calling me an inappropriate name, and hanging up on me. I won't be patronizing this place again. Oh, and the food is par/sub par at best. The only reason I ever order here is because it seems to be the only place in town open late.

Let me start by saying my dad LOVES this place...I've gone a couple times and never thought it was anything amazing...kinda crazy that they only take cash...who carries cash now??? NO ONE...so now you have to go to the ATM and pay $6 in fees to get cash out...irritated already. So you get your food which is nothing to write home about really. My husband and I moved to the area and decided we'd order a pizza...can't be that bad. WRONG. We got a pizza...it was probably the most disgusting pizza I've ever had in my life. It was greasy w/ extra grease and the ingredients were so bad that my husband, who never complains about food b/c he just doesn't care that much...took one bite and spit it out. We threw the entire pizza away AND it's not like it's cheap pizza either...that's how bad it was. When I told my dad he said "well was it during tourist season?...sometimes it's not so great then"....that REALLY shouldn't matter. When I go down to WOODS SEAFOOD their food is the same year round! Sorry...not impressed.

Best pizza in Wareham. Subs are awesome too. AND they have beer. Great place to grab pizza and watch some sports. It is also cool how they a lot of pictures from around wareham. Wareham high sport stuff everywhere is really cool. They take care of the locals, which is awesome.

I had been going to this place for years. I called to order a sandwich and waited an hour and a half to get it. As I bit into it I found a plastic bag clip. Disgusting! I called to complain and I barely got an apology. No offer of a refund or discount. I'm very disappointed and I will not be returning.

I went here for my first time yesterday with my boyfriend from the area who is obsessed with the place and I can't really blame him. Its got that older feel and from all the signs and pictures on the walls its very homely. Its the local pizza shop everyone goes to. We got a large cheese pizza and I feel $14.75 is a bit expensive but the pizza was delicious. It may look like your atypical thin crust but the flavor was pouring out of it. Along with some oil (now I can't do greasy food at all but I had no problems with this because they use olive oil with the cheese and it's delicious). The only problem I had here was my fountain beverages. My boyfriend's coke was watered down, my mountain dew taste like carbonated lemon water, and the Dr pepper I got to replace the mountain dew wasn't much better! Which is very upsetting because I feel that if my soda had been good the meal would have been out of this world. But I definitely will be back there soon!

The best place and food in the Cape code area. I have traveled all around the USA and Europe and Marc is the best pizza place! Love it! Must try! Great for Family, Friends, and just a night out.

I have been going to Marc Anthony's for nearly twenty years now, not sure I have ever had a bad experience. Absolutely the best pizza in the area! They have other great items on the menu but when we go it's usually for the pizza. Two large pies, an antipasto salad, some curly fries and you have enough food for a family of five with leftovers to bring home. Soda and beer by the pitcher. They do deliver, but you really want to dine in for the full experience. While your waiting for your order take a stroll around the place and look at the hundreds of photographs and memorabilia on the walls. If you have kids bring a handful of quarters so they can enjoy the mini- arcade located at rear of the pizzeria. Marc Anthony's has been around since the late '70s. I've seen a lot of Onset restaurants come and go over the years, but this place has thrived.

This place has become a ritual for us every time we go to the cape. I have only ordered the jalapeno and bacon slice when I've gone but that's just because I have no need to order anything else. Fresh jalapenos? Copious amounts of bacon? I'm hooked. I'm originally from Jersey so good pizza is important to me. I love the thinness of the crust and how it's just so perfectly crispy. Order at the counter, cash only, sit and wait. I've never had trouble hearing our name called or experience a crazy amount of people but maybe we just go at the right time. Highly recommend if you're looking for a quick, cheap, tasty meal.

Andrew A.
Food is average at best, the staff is rude, the decor and environment on the inside is absolutely terrible. I think the only reason why this place is still in business is the location and the fact that I haven't seen a ton of pizza joints since moving into the area. If anyone says this pizza is the best pizza in the south shore hasn't been to any other pizza place in the south shore.

Had their fried dough. It was awesome. Pizza is always good. Nice local joint with good food and prices.

This is one of my all time favorite places to go. The pizza and the lobster bisque are unbelievable. As for the service and atmosphere that people are complaining about? That's the beauty of the place, you can walk in barefoot and have the best pizza in town.

We had the most horrifying experience at this pizza place tonight. After tolerating a table full of unattended young children screaming ear piercing when we ask them to stop the adults came out of nowhere. They then proceeded to go crazy yelling and screaming at the four of us. All over the age of sixty! Swearing threatening and disturbing the entire front end of the dining room. The sad part was the kids seemed used to it....we asked the owner to handle it or we would call the police . He did nothing so....if you plan visiting Onset and are looking for a warm friendly and family resturant DEFFINATLEY DO NOT CHOOSE MARC ANTHONY'S It was totally unacceptable and the owner was perfectly happy to sit back and watch it all while his patrons are being harassed. NO THANKS. WILL BOYCOTT THIS PLACE Ps the food is not editable and the place is filthy I can't imagine how the kitchen looks....puke

Lobster bisque here is awesome! But this is a pizzeria so let's talk about those slices. I thought that it was an OK pizza (i topped mine with BBQ chicken, pineapples, and bacon) don't get me wrong the toppings and all was great, but the base of the pizza (ie. sauce, cheese) was kind of weak. Then I found out why! The make a plain cheese pizza and set it out. When you order a slice they just dump your toppings on top and stick it back in the oven to warm. No bueno when you like that cheesy goodness of a solid slice and not having to fold it up and pick up toppings off your plate. I bet that the whole pizzas that they have to make fresh are awesome though. Overall, will visit next time I'm in Onset.

Spent some time on the cape this summer with family and the kids. We came here at the suggestion of a family member. They were "okay". The kids played some of the games, but a lot weren't working and they lost their money. The food was mediocre at best, and our order was messed up, but not bad enough to try to bother to flag someone down to help - staff seemed quite over-indulged in their work. The one thing I did find appealing is there was nothing but Elvis playing - whom I love. Could use a little cleaning up also - they have gum ball machines - and gum stuck to the underside of their table - disgusting. Not the worst but by far not the best. I'll probably try some place else this summer.

Let's just say the ordering process and atmosphere were chaotic at best. You place your order at the counter right by the front door. Which in turn means you collide with the incoming and outgoing traffic. Then the real fun begins. They take your name instead of giving you a number. The place is extremely loud and you have to listen for the staff to literally scream your name when your order is up. So don't plan on carrying on a conversation while waiting for your food. I have been led to believe that this is the case at all times. Interestingly, I heard somebody mention the 'Soup Nazi' when they were leaving. I wish I knew what happened to warrant that comment. My wife and I happened to go the day there was a summer blues festival going on in Onset. The place was REALLY busy and I can appreciate that. They were pumping out the pies like gangbusters, but for goodness sake, when you pull the pizza out of the oven, check the bottom to make sure it's not burned! Well, to be fair, only half of the crust was burned, so maybe they only saw the good half. If the crust hadn't been burned, the artichoke and grilled chicken pizza would have been 3.5 to 4 stars. I admit, the unburned side was pretty good, but not as good as a North End pizza (mmmmm... Ernesto's). I will give them another go when it's not quite so busy. But if you see a long line and people scrambling for tables, I would avoid.

I looove their pizza - no credit cards or refills but great great pizza and friendly staff ;)

$2 for a huge single slice of pizza, which was delicious! A lot of the reviews for this place claim that this is the best pizza in Mass, which is a huge compliment, but hard to say. I'm easily a fan of this place and since its up the street from my favorite beach, I will come here a lot. My issue is the non friendly people who work here. This can be fixed I guess and I hope next time I go that I will get better, happier service.

I know it's crazy to order a lobster roll and clam chowder from a pizza place, but we were near the Cape and there was a ton of seafood on the menu. Lobster roll was a bit too dry but more than decent. Thick variety clam chowder definitely ok. Pizza surprisingly not our favorite: loved the thick crust, didn't love the sauce, and would order with more cheese next time. Delivery was super fast on a midweek night.

Bring cash. The whole block house the same family businesses including Nana's ice cream and candy shop. The beef tip salad is great. Pizzas are hand made thin crust. Listen carefully for your name to be called or they get the bull horn out. Arcade games available to entertain young guests.

Chourico and Ricotta pizza is the best pizza in Mass. Thin crust, crispy, nice sauce, decent price. Know what you want to order before you get in line!

Absolutely the best food ever and fresh!! Customer service needs some work but the owners are sweethearts. Sometimes delivery can be a bit slow but it's worth the wait. I like the fact that they only take cash too! And they're open 365 a year until midnight. If you want great quality food....you need to come here!!!

You get crappy clams in California -- yeah, I said it. Crappy. Everytime I go home, I pester the crap out of everyone until I get to Marc Anthony's. The clams are as they should be -- whole bellies, none of that "clam strip" crap that is passed off on the West Coast. Views are nice, and the ambiance in non-pretentious (you're on the Cape, not Robertson Blvd).
(5)
Tim M.
Not a bad place to get some food and drinks if you are down in the area. The decor was pretty neat and definitely a place that I would go back to if I was in the area but I wouldn't go out of my way to go back. My girlfriend got a cheese pizza and I got the clam strip plate. It was kind of disappointing that they only had strips and no bellies but oh well. I was in the mood for seafood, I was near the ocean going with the strips over bellies was something that didn't bother me. Now a few things that I didn't like. One is that you should sit as far away from the counter, unless you like when people scream at you, because that is what it feels like as they scream out the names of people's orders. Also, the beers are ridiculously overpriced. I got a Blue Moon for like $5.50 and it was like 8 ounces I felt. Also, it is CASH only.

Oh, Marc A's how I love and miss thee!! Hands down best pizza ever! Having grown up in Wareham, Marc Anthony's was a staple at our house every Friday night. The pepperoni deep dish is our favorite! Some people may be turned off by the atmosphere of the place, but it has stayed the same for the past 20 yrs that we have been going there. The pictures on the walls are all from past events and sports from the area. It brings me back to my childhood. I am now living in Boston, about a block from the original Pizzaria Regina and all of the italian food you can handle in the North End. Still, I cannot find a pizza that compares to Marc Anthony's. Whenever I head down to visit the fam, I have to make a stop at Marc A's! On a crazy summer day, just order take out and bring it down to the beach:))

If you like attitude with your food, this is your place. Unfortunately because there isn't much competition it ends up being your only choice if you want a mediocre pizza at best, all other food is bad. It is teenager, beach goer hang out. This by far had the rudest employees I have ever encountered. My suggestion...drive to the cape! I certainly will never step foot into this place again, I value customer service and will only give my hard earned money to those that appreciate my business. Unfortunately because they have no competition and they know it, they do nothing to show appreciation of patronage, and will they certainly not get my patronage EVER! This place gives the small business owner a bad name. There are much better places with genuinely nice and appreciative business owners, and I prefer to keep them in business even if it is out of my way, not this place.

I consider myself to be well experienced in being around tremendously annoying people and visiting tremendously loud and obnoxious establishments. However, this place far surpasses ANY level of irritating I've encountered. The lobster roll was fine. It was actually my first and while it wasn't what I expected I wasn't sure what to expect so I ate it without too much distaste. I was hungry for lobster, it was lobster, I was happy. I also had an aching for some clam chowder so I ordered a bowl of that too. It was sub par but I guess if you are dying for clam chowder, it's better than Progresso canned stuff. My beef with the joint, the pizza guy was unbearably rude and obnoxious. I get it that this may be one of those places that people go to experience this sort of "charm" but I wasn't charmed. I was hungry and pissed off. ps) They call them Freedom Fries instead of French Fries. They deserve no stars simply based on that idiocy.

The pizza is what makes the place. You will love it! Great beach place to eaT. Ii would have given it a 5 if not for the telephone personality of one of the guys/brothers there. It could even be called obnoxious, rude, condescending? I know he is very busy, but it's just NOT needed to talk to people like that. Good thing the pizza's so good or he wouldn't last with that personality.
(4)
Bruce G.
An earlier review was critical of the guy that answers the phone.. for my money he's the entertainment. Like the waitresses at Durgin Park in Faneuil Hall. As a 55 yr old it's a throw back in it's decor and atmosphere. The kind of place you saw in movie travel logs. And not many places you can grab a slice, and I mean a fold it in half to eat it type of slice, walk a block and be at one of the best beaches in Mass.

A local/tourist favorite I was only mildly impressed by the quality and prices of their soggy greasy pizzas. Tight sitting and drunk parents bumping our table made eating our soggy vegetable and greasy plain cheese pizzas even more of a challenge. At the end of the night it wasn't even worth taking the leftovers home. Because of the fun and friendly we may give Marc Anthony's another try. November 5

Outstanding Sicilian style pizza and spicy boneless wings!! The delivery service is wicked fast as well. I recently moved to Wareham and this is my new favorite pizza place.

This is the place to eat if your in Onset. I have been there at all times during the year but during the summer, I don't think there is a time or day when it is not packed. It is right next to Onset beach so it seas a ton of foot traffic. It is almost always loud in here and the are large cafeteria style tables instead of individual tables but the atmosphere is very fun as long as your not looking for an intimate dinning experience. The selection of pizza is huge, you can get almost anything you want on your pizza including various seafood selections. Pizza is great, pasta is great, salads do the trick, sandwiches also ok, you just can't go wrong. The lobster bisque here is more like lobster chowder, thick and with huge chunks of lobster! They serve beer here as well which is a nice little treat many pizza joints don't often offer. Also if you plan on placing an order over the phone, be ready to give your order quick. Its a little tricky at first but do it a few times and you will get the hang of their style. Check this place out. The best non-chain pizza in the surrounding area.

Ordered takeout and stood for half an hour to pick up the food. The pizza was cold and soggy the garlic bread was poor quality. The staff were not friendly. Go somewhere else to eat.

Oh Mahhhhks how I long for thee... Best pizza in all of New England. I realize some of you may think this is an audacious statement after reading some of the reviews, but I assure you that my four years of regular experience qualifies me to make this claim. My boyfriend has a house near Onset beach, every time he wants me to come down from Boston, I condition my visit on ordering MA's. My boyfriend likes: 1. Buffalo Chicken Calzone 2. Pepperoni, Linguica, Mushroom (with a side of blue cheese) I prefer: 1. BBQ Chicken Calzone (extra side of sauce on the side) 2. Grilled Chicken, Basil, Tomato & Garlic Pizza (also with a side of BC). Yes the reviews are true, the owner and his brother can be loud & obnoxious, but relax, grab a glass of their cheap wine and observe. The food (even the seafood) and the entertainment promise not to disappoint.

Amazing pizza. I love this place. The owner is hilarious. If you don't know what you want when you call, its fun to watch the fur fly.

Marc Anthony's is an Onset establishment, and it has really great pizza! The staff isn't super friendly, but that is often because they are so busy. I haven't been to Marc's in a little while, but during the summer it can get super busy and the wait time is crazy. 4 stars instead of 5 because of staff and wait times.

This past week a couple of my girlfriends and I decided to go to Marc Anthony's after laying out on Onset Beach for a few hours. The menu was typical of a pizza place but there was plenty to choose from. I decided to split a small hawaiian pizza with a friend, while my other friends split a half cheese half BBQ chicken pizza. You seat yourself, and then go back up to the counter to order. They do have beer on tap. After waiting quiet a while, it was 5pm and people were coming in and out the door with to-go orders we became a little antsy. The walls are decorated with old photos and it's enough to keep you entertained for a while. There's video games in the back and plenty of tvs with the news/sports shows on them. The food finally arrived and I was slightly disappointed when I looked at it. Greasy pizza. Nothing special. Why does everyone rant and rave about this place? Papa Johns tasted better to me. It was about $15 for a small pizza and 2 cokes.

Every time I'm home I need to stop by Marc's and get a pizza and a pitcher. It's a great place to enjoy quality food and a low key atmosphere. Also, try Nana's down the street. It's owned by Marc's and has good ice cream.

This place is the weirdest clash of locals and tourists I've ever seen; either way you dice it though, it's packed to the maximum anytime in summer, and often in the off-seasons as well. They have a hand-tossed Italian pizza that comes closer to Boston style than any other restaurant I've been to that far away from the city, and the kids line up by the windows to watch the pizza dough flying through the air. Their sauce is only slightly sweeter than normal--more like a hint or undertone than an actual "sweet sauce"--and their crust is just a bit thicker than you'd expect. Now, the price for such surprisingly good pizza might be called "local charm" by some, and "obscene dirtiness" by others. I try to never eat there, due to the abundance of used napkins, unwashed tables and unbelievably filthy chairs. Add to that the family-style tables and the uncomfortable feeling of sitting next to someone you don't know...eh, no thanks. I can do without. In the summer, you'll also wait forever due to the fact that this is THE place to go in Onset. This one will be a personal call for a _lot_ of people out there.

Tasteless, absolutely the worst pizza and the most horrible boneless wings I've had in my life, bar none. Thank god for beer, otherwise I would have giving them negative 5 stars!

This is a real slice of life place, basically the hub of life in Onset. It is definitely not to be missed if you are in the area. It's like Mystic Pizza in Connecticut. It definitely looks like the set of a cheesy '80s movie. I think the seafood is actually better than the pizza, which is VERY surprising. Steamers, lobster, lobster rolls, fried everything, etc. Plus, it's a family pizza joint that serves beer, which I think is great. Why not?

The ambiance at MarcA's is always the best, but this year's pizza has fallen off a little bit. Don't know why, but starting to remind me of papa gino's. Beer is amazing, but getting expensive at 3.50 for a 14 oz draft bud. Any way you cut it, its still Onset and worth going.

This is a great family place. If your kids are getting bored of the same old dinner, then definitely surprise them with marc antonys. But if you and your friends just want to get some pizza...I would go someplace else. Gets way to crowed and the people their won't scoot over so you'll probably be waiting a while. Like I said, perfect for kids. It has an arcade in the back to keep the kids happy while you try and get your food all arranged. All in all its a great place, but if you want a relaxing quiet dinner...don't go here.

This should be on your list if you're staying near Onset Beach. It seems to be the: high school date spot, family restaurant, after the game spot, not cooking tonight and the local pizza joint. They also happen to have excellent fresh steamers! The mood is wild, loud, and authentic slice of local life. The owner is in residence; he's part of the reason the place is loud and part of the reason it seems to run like a submarine.

This is another pizza place where the entire experience creates something special and may even make the meal that much better. The walls are covered in crap, the back boasts a number of arcade games, and the owner stands next to the registers and shouts out orders and whatever other random thoughts pop into his head. This place is full of wacky locals and I have spent hours in here on summer weekends (with a pitcher of beer) watching the customers and playing games like, count the mullets, spot the fanny pack, and how many people think it's cool to have a goatee and wear sunglasses on the visor of a baseball cap. You wouldn't believe the stuff you see at this place: Cowboy hats, Cape Verdean biker gangs, and children who think it's all set to scream and run in a busy restaurant. One of my co-workers is one of these crazy regular customers and here are some of his tidbits of information: . The owner, Mark, trained Papa Gino's on how to make pizza. . If you bring something for Mark to hang on the wall, he will take care of you in the future . The dirtbike parked outside belongs to the owner who has adopted a new mode of transportation in the wake of increased gas prices Like I said, my co-worker is a whack job so you may need to experience the place yourself and draw your own conclusions. Onto the actual food: the pizza is excellent and the slices are huge, the menu covers everything from pizza to salad, pasta, appetizers, seafood, subs, and more. They serve beer. Um it's located next to a cool beach and some other decent local bars. Good for a summer day trip.

Best pizza EVER! Seafood's good too. And the steak and cheese. Oh, and the poppers. LOVE the atmosphere. To anyone who says they're rude, um, put your man pants on or get outta Onset! My family's been eating here for 3 generations now. It has been a staple of our summers ever since it opened. You gotta move quick in here. If you know what you want, get in line. If you don't know, then grab a menu and sit down till you figure it out. Just a heads up. Also, yeah, it's cash only. But if you walk for 30 seconds outside, there is an atm on the corner. Mmmm...can't wait for July so I can get my hands on some pizza!!!!!

Truly my favorite pizza of all time. I cannot find a better pizza anywhere...not in Boston, not in New York, nowhere. The crust has a great taste, the sauce is a little bit sweet, and best of all, the pizza is not greasy. It isn't that the pizza is anything special, it is just that it is really good pizza. You wouldn't think it would be hard to find, but somehow it is. I also love the "Baked Marc's Platter." It is just pasta with sauce, and then it is coated in mozzarella cheese and baked in the oven. I am defenseless against anything baked in cheese. The place itself is dingy, but over 25 years of going there, I have come to percieve it as part of the charm of the place, rather than just seeing it as dirty. I will limit my comments on the owners, but the one who answers the phones is obnoxious and arrogant while the one who works the pizza side is personable and appreciative towards the customers. My 5 star rating really is just for the food. It is basic pizza/sub shop food done better than most anyone else, which gets a 5 in my book.

Have been going here since it opened in '77. I distinctly remember waiting for our pizza listening to Dark Side of the Moon on the sound system and mom saying, : "don't listen to this awful drug music!". She never took us back, but I have been many times since '77 when I was 12. Was there today after the Onset Bay Polar Bear Plunge sponsored by the Onset Fire Dept. Nothing better after swimming in frigid conditions than a gorgeous Neopolitan pie and a pitcher or cold beer. It was brutally cold on the pier today (teens with a wicked wind). Walking into a warm pizzeria on such a day is a welcome event. Can't comment on the other fare as I've not tried it but a table close by had a great looking steak and cheese calzone and the the boneless wings looked good too. They hand toss pizza in the street window and the product is as good as Regina's in the North End. No credit cards and the long tables are family style so be prepared to sit with your neighbors. Theres an atm 2 doors down,

Best pizza in the whole entire world. I prefer a cheesier cheese to sauce ratio, and Marc Anthony's delivers. My dad is a pizza snob and this place is in his top 3. My infatuation with the pizza has kept me from sampling any other menu item, but who cares - get the pizza. I used to work in Wareham and Onset and spent more time in the latter than I actually had to just to drop in for a slice. Cheap ass lunch specials during the week - 2 slices and a drink for $5? if I remember correctly. The kids behind the counter are very friendly and efficient. The place is pretty hectic and can get loud during weekend and dinner rush hours - so pay attention or you'll miss your order when your name's yelled out. Although somewhat outdated, the family-style tables, local sports paraphernalia on the walls, and mini arcade in back just fit. I prefer to order out and either bring my perfect pizza home, or eat it while drinking in the view of Onset Bay just a short walk outside the door. Onset has kind of a lousy reputation. But, the village is a nice spot for a weekend walk after grabbing a slice. Extra points: The two brothers that own the place live locally and do a lot for the community.

Very Good pizza, I prefer a bar pizza (ie. Cape cod cafe) but for this type, large, thin crust its great and I look forward to it when we go to Onset, Usually get cheese and a roni, have not tried any others, kids love the giant hot dogs! For this style pizza this is the best I have had, similar to some places in Boston and a sweet little basement pizza joint in Manhattan I once ate at..

I am going to start by agreeing with Clare D. on her previous review of Marc Anthony's. In fact I can do you one better by going back in time.. As a small child I remember how loud and obnoxious the staff at Marc's were. Then I went back years later as an adult and guess what? The pizza chef was even more annoying than I remembered! I was so put off by his assholishness I would have left if my friends had not already ordered. In fact, one of my friends later commented about just what an asshole the guy was to her when she ordered. Marc Anthony's pizza is in all honesty, not that good. I remember the consistency, greasy cheese, thin crust.. But not the taste. After reading the other reviews I've come to the conclusion that this a place people from Mass want to say good things about out of pure nostalgia. Highly overrated pizza. Go to Domino's, at least their owner has shown in commercials that he actually wants business.

I've been here a few times before Cape League games, or if I'm in the area for work. I've only had cheese or pepperoni from Marc Anthony's. The cheese pizza is so good, I'm afraid to add to many toppings. They do serve by the slice, or you can get a small or large pie. Like most places I think the whole pie is the better way to go. It's a good pizza shop atmosphere, lots of sports memorabilia, old concert posters, and local art and photos. It's worth the trip to Onset to try their pizza.

We went here for lunch after visiting the park next door. It looks like a typical pizza place, with a lot of interesting things on the walls, and even a couple of HDTVs. We were very disappointed to hear that they didn't accept credit cards. Its 2009 people, not 1989. I can buy a coffee with my credit card at any fast food restaurant. The second disappointment came when they brought over our food, well everyone's except my wife's. No explanation, no word that it was coming up. My wife had to go back up to the counter and ask for it. The food was the biggest disappointment. Maybe because we've heard a few good things, we expected something better. I had a clam strip dinner. The clam strips were OK, the fries were cold and rubbery, and the cold slaw was a color that I've never seen in cole slaw before. My son got a couple of slices of pizza which he had a bite of and didn't want any more. I tried it and knew why. It was cold and rubbery like the fries, and not much flavor. My wife said her chicken parm was fairly tasteless also. For $30 at a pizza place that didn't taste that good, I felt that my money didn't get its worth. Maybe it was a bad day, or because it was in the off season, but I'd steer away from going here again, especially when you have plenty of other choices down the street in Wareham. Taco Bell would be a suggestion for better worth of your buck.

The pizza might be good but the service is indifferent at best and rude at worst. We will NEVER eat here again. We've given it 3 tries and each one was worst than the one before.

I first visited Marc Anthony's Pizzeria in Onset while working down on Cape Cod in 1997. I was amazed at the amount of items on the menu. They now claim to have the biggest menu on Cape Cod. If you have children this should be your first choice when you are in the area. Don't get me wrong it's a good restaurant for everyone but no matter how finicky a kid is they will find something to eat on this huge menu. You order at the counter when you walk in the door and then pick up the food when they call your name. Nothing fancy but plenty of good food at good prices. Public parking is close by and I usually park on the street with no problem. The restaurant is near the beach and is located right in Onset Village. Onset has a blues festival and other types of public entertainment throughout the summer. Yesterday a Cape Verdian festival filled the village with carnival spirit. Getting back to the food available here you will become a believer when you look at the menu. Hot appetizers, burgers, sandwiches, hot and cold submarines, pasta specials, baked pasta, salads, soups, fried seafood, lobster, dinner specials and a large variety of pizza with all kinds of toppings are available all year round. Of course there is beer and wine. The prices are very reasonable and when your done eating try their ice cream store (Nana's Ice Cream and Candy Store) next door. I like to add one other thing. You do not have to cross the Cape Cod Canal bridges to get to Onset. It is located next to Buzzards Bay and is and has been a summer retreat for many people (like myself) since Cape Cod became popular years ago. You can park and eat in the village then take a Cape Cod Canal Cruise and have a fun time viewing Buzzards Bay and the Cape Cod Canal. The sunset cruise is wonderful.

Absolutely the best place to go for pizza!! I went with my entire family a little while back for the first time. To be honest, I never even knew it existed until my mother told me about it and said we should go. We went and it was just a really open place, with long tables for all types of groups whether you're a big party or a small party. We had a few pitchers of beer and quite a few pizza's. It was amazing! Defintely recommend this place to anyone that enjoys a pizza every now and then!

My family and I love this place. It is casual, the pizza is a nice thin crust and the appetizers are decent. They serve beer on tap and have games to entertain the kids while waiting for the pizza. The place is run by 2 brothers, one of whom runs the pizza operations and one who mans the phones. They are both very hyper and keep things moving. I try to avoid it during the summer as it gets very crowded.

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
Italian Cuisine
The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.
Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.
If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

(5)Kevin O.
This place is awesome! We found them by searching on yelp after working in the area... called in an order just before they closed. Not only was everything we ordered delicious, the staff was all really friendly and accommodating.
(5)Jon G.
Been coming here since I was young. The brothers are still here setting the bar on cape cod food. Fantastic east coast floppy pizza great steak sandwiches and a menu to die for. You can't beat it. They have never let me down!! I hope they are here for evwr
(5)Kat A.
Yum
(5)Ben H.
When someone says pizza, I think of Marc Anthony's! I take all my friends to this place. Not only do I love the food but the atmosphere is just so relaxed and fun.
(5)Kim A.
My husband and his family have been coming here for years. He LOVES their pizza and pasta. They have a ton of seating. It can get super busy in the summer month. There isn't any parking. We typically call it in for pick up.
(4)Yahn C.
(4)David G.
An excellent delivery tonight, a perfect large pizza, with onions and a perfect crust and just wonderful sauce. Truly a great pizza!
(5)Nancy C.
I just visited Marc Anthony's this weekend and it was soo good, the pizza was delicious. The place is definitely loud and hectic but over all was great. Would def go back.
(4)L I.
(4)Colleen N.
Came to this place for pizza on our last night in town. Will NEVER go back. Staff was rude, music was extremely loud and the customers felt it necessary to yell and use profanity!! Left with headache and upset stomach! The kicker is I'm from Philly and this place annoyed me. That has to say something!
(1)Sean M.
The food is great it gets busy but they move you through and you can watch them hand toss the pies. They have pitchers of beer and soda and a few video games. I give this place a 4 star but the fact that Marc Anthony's does so much for youth sports I'm bumping them up a star for their benevolence.
(5)Paul C.
(4)R R.
(5)Paige A.
(5)Setareh A.
(5)Michelle F.
This satisfied my pizza craving just fine! Thin crust, cheesy pepperoni is my favorite and so I downed 4 slices. It's a fun place with some games to play.....pac man, car racing.
(4)Chris S.
Unless you were interested in sub-par service and mediocre food for outrageous prices, move along. There's nothing to see here.
(1)Shane B.
You just have to go...word don't do Marc' justice.
(5)Lynne B.
If you like big thin slices, you gotta check this place out ;)
(5)Caroline J.
(5)Tara C.
The people working there are rude and abrasive and the food is no better than frozen pizza and jarred sauce. I had a question about a food allergy and the man on the phone dismissed my question and hung up on me twice.
(1)Megan P.
(2)Mister E.
(4)Sara D.
(4)Scott O.
The two reasons it gets a 4 instead of a 5 no credit cards excepted and delivery is almost always cold. That being said they have the best pizza in the south shore and if you go there you will feel like It's 1980. Again. We eat there 3 times a month and would tell anyone to eat there with confidence.
(4)Kevin M.
Pizza, fries, subs and onion rings are great. Best NY style pizza in SE Mass. The staff is friendly and they turn out the orders quickly. I try to get here at least once a month during the summer. Awesome food and friendly people
(5)Molly K.
(1)Erika S.
(1)Chris R.
Best pizza in Wareham. Subs are awesome too. AND they have beer. Great place to grab pizza and watch some sports. It is also cool how they a lot of pictures from around wareham. Wareham high sport stuff everywhere is really cool. They take care of the locals, which is awesome.
(5)Sally C.
I had been going to this place for years. I called to order a sandwich and waited an hour and a half to get it. As I bit into it I found a plastic bag clip. Disgusting! I called to complain and I barely got an apology. No offer of a refund or discount. I'm very disappointed and I will not be returning.
(1)Jess S.

(5)K J.

(4)Andrew A.
(2)Jennifer H.
Had their fried dough. It was awesome. Pizza is always good. Nice local joint with good food and prices.
(4)Kenzie W.
This is one of my all time favorite places to go. The pizza and the lobster bisque are unbelievable. As for the service and atmosphere that people are complaining about? That's the beauty of the place, you can walk in barefoot and have the best pizza in town.
(5)Mimi D.
(1)Tara M.

(3)Phil C.
(2)Carol Ann R.
I looove their pizza - no credit cards or refills but great great pizza and friendly staff ;)
(4)Michael M.
(4)Lisa O.
(3)Maria F.
Bring cash. The whole block house the same family businesses including Nana's ice cream and candy shop. The beef tip salad is great. Pizzas are hand made thin crust. Listen carefully for your name to be called or they get the bull horn out. Arcade games available to entertain young guests.
(4)Mike D.
Chourico and Ricotta pizza is the best pizza in Mass. Thin crust, crispy, nice sauce, decent price. Know what you want to order before you get in line!
(5)Omama M.
(4)Eva J.
(5)Tim M.
(3)Shanya K.
(5)E A.
(1)Clare M.
(2)terrie c.
(4)Bruce G.
(5)SC S.
November 5
(2)Brittany M.
Outstanding Sicilian style pizza and spicy boneless wings!! The delivery service is wicked fast as well. I recently moved to Wareham and this is my new favorite pizza place.
(5)Andrew N.
(4)Jack M.
Ordered takeout and stood for half an hour to pick up the food. The pizza was cold and soggy the garlic bread was poor quality. The staff were not friendly. Go somewhere else to eat.
(2)kristin b.
(5)Mike H.
Amazing pizza. I love this place. The owner is hilarious. If you don't know what you want when you call, its fun to watch the fur fly.
(5)Jack P.
(4)Lindsay H.
(3)Kristen S.
Every time I'm home I need to stop by Marc's and get a pizza and a pitcher. It's a great place to enjoy quality food and a low key atmosphere. Also, try Nana's down the street. It's owned by Marc's and has good ice cream.
(4)Laura C.
Best pizza in town! But honestly I've tried a lot of the menu and it's all fantastic. When in Onset you have to go to Marc Anthony's.
(5)Kat H.
(3)Rafael B.
Tasteless, absolutely the worst pizza and the most horrible boneless wings I've had in my life, bar none. Thank god for beer, otherwise I would have giving them negative 5 stars!
(1)Cport J.
Why not?
(4)tim b.
(2)Hank D.
(3)Naomi U.
(3)Luke M.
(5)Jaime G.
(5)Norman K.
(5)Courtney R.
the pizza is delicious, the atmosphere is laid back beach and it's very kid friendly
(4)mike r.
Theres an atm 2 doors down,
(4)Kristen O.
(5)Mike D.
(4)Yishai B.
(2)Eric T.
(4)Doug H.
(1)Robin R.

(5)Jim C.
