Addictive. I'm hooked, my friends are, my coworkers are... every time we are in the area we're scheming to go there. The falafel wrap with hummus is my go-to order, but I've also had and enjoyed the veg stuffed grape leaves (and stuffed grape leaves wrap), the labneh (sp?), the greek lamb burger, the house salad, and the chicken liver plate (more on that later). Friends of mine have tried and enjoyed the various kinds of sausage, the beef shwarma, the beef tongue, I forget what else. The only disappointment I had was the vegan kebbe balls, but I think that was because I tried something new and it turned out that I didn't care for it, not because they weren't made well. Just not my thing in other words. About the chicken liver... I ordered it as an appetizer. OMG. It was fantastic... and I couldn't finish it. Consider sharing this with friends. So. Much. Liver. Next time I want chicken liver, I'll try the chicken liver wrap - that looks much more manageable.

AH-MAZING! Don't hesitate to go here. The food is great. Service, I'd give 10 stars if I could. I happen to love garlic and lemon, so I agree with an earlier post, only they made it sound negative. All I really can say is its delish!

Very average middle eastern food. Spicy chicken shawarma and super shawarma wraps are pretty average. Gyro was VERY salty. Falafel added to the wraps are served cold and soft! Very underwhelming experience considering the high ratings.

Oh I had my hopes up. I could not resist the temptation of the rotating meat. So I got the beef shawarma. I was thoroughly unimpressed. The meat was bone dry and if it had any flavor it was masked by the toughness and chewiness of it. Also the sandwich was wrapped and then grilled. Not sure why they do this as it simply dried out the pita bread. Nothing better than soft fresh pita. I will go back and try something else, although not in a rush. I will not be tempted by the spinning shawarma next time around.....Or maybe I'll just spend the extra couple of bucks and sit down at Byblos.

This restaurant is an off shoot from Cedar's market next door. Cesar's always had a line for lunch and is still an excellent market. This restaurant lives up to its lineage. The food is incredibly fresh - everything is made fresh each day. The roll ups, dinners and other food is exceptional. I love the chicken shwarma roll up. I also love that they now have delivery as well as a place to sit and eat. In the market it was always to go. Norwood is a desert for food with nothing to speak of. To Beirut is the oasis. It is worth finding out and eating at often.

Food was great, falafel and hummus, outstanding. The beef tounge(wife had as an appetizer) was delicious. The lamb kabob was done perfect..Medium rare. All in all we will be back

I went there the other day for a falafel wrap (delicious!) and guess what? They serve alcohol now! Beer and wine. Must've just gotten their liquor license.

this place is great and after just having moved to the area from Boston it is wayyy cheaper than what I'm used to paying for good food. had falafel a few times and I think it is excellent. tried a spicy chicken shawarma wrap and it was OK, not my favourite, i think it had too much garlic sauce on it for my liking. next I'm trying a gyro. I'm excited!

  • Am T.

I had the super shawarma and it was delicious! The meat was not dried out; very moist and seasoned perfectly! The grape leave were also very fresh tasting and delicious. It was a nice surprise to find this restaurant and we will be back for sure.

You will be addicted to this place!! The food is amazing and the prices are outstanding. Where else would you find an amazing kebab or shawarma rollup for 5 bucks?? Falafel for 4 bucks?? We have been going to this place every single week. I hope the owner considers openning another location in the West Roxbury area... :)

  • Valerie A K.

Food delicious. Service very good! I do my own Middle eastern cooking and the kousa was as good as mine. Chicken skewer perfectly done I was checking out food for a party I am having....absolutely will use.

  • Phil M.

Really good, fresh food that's cheap for the amount they give you. Love the chicken kabob, really tender and juicy. Love the beef tongue, they make it with sweet middle eastern spices, really good you'd think you're eating pot roast., not gamey at all.

I am shocked that the average review is 4.5 stars. I can only assume that people who rated this place above a 3 have only eaten bad Lebanese food before trying the food here. I went to To Beirut because it was featured on a recent episode of Diners, Drive-ins and Dives. I didn't think the food was bad, just very average. My friends and I ordered a falafel wrap, a shawarma plate and the steak tips. The only thing that I was impressed by were the steak tips which were cooked and seasoned perfectly. The garlic sauce and hummus that came with it were tasteless and not authentic. Garlic, of all things, should NOT be tasteless! The staff were extremely friendly and attentive, but the ordering system is confusing. Why is there no menu overhead? Why have all the sides and sandwich filling options visible but not be allowed to order until you reach the cashier (where you can't see the options). I will try this place again soon and hopefully update this review. But right now I can only give it 3 stars.

Absolutely delicious food! Authentic middle eastern casual dining. And very cost effective! Love it!

  • Joanie C.

I love this place!!! The food is so yummy...the tabhouli is as fresh as you can get. Garlic paste...to die for! Hummus...nice flavor and texture! If you're a fan of shawarma (shaved chicken, beef, lamb - off the skewer), you will eat no other! The house salad is green..can you imagine that! It is crisp and fresh; the dressing delicious. The kabobs....moist! You will have enough food to take home for your lunch the next day. The prices are reasonable. Another reason I like this place is the owner and his wife....they always greet you with a nice smile and a warm hello. How could I not go back?! I rate this place 6 stars! Best place in Norwood, MA.. We in the 'burbs are truly suffering for good places to eat. I couldn't be more greatful to have found this gem. Fresh AND healthy! I have brought atleast 3 couples and they all loved it.

Went To Beirut for the first time tonight - authentic, simple Middle Eastern food the way it should be done! Atmosphere is very casual - you order at the counter, but there are a number of tables for dining in. The place is super clean and the staff is very accommodating. We'll definitely be back! If someone from To Beirut is reading - the lamb tartar is amazing, but the portion is WAY too big! Save your money and serve 1/2 the size.

  • Ashley S.

Very, very awesome chicken shawarma. I also love their fries, they're perfect and come with this delicious garlicky yogurt dip and the combination tastes like you're floating tongue first into Heaven. Seriously.

  • Sean R.

Wanting to try something new we came here, even though Paprika was open. The place itself is nice, new and clean. The service amazing, but the food was just ok.My dessert one bite remember we're talking me here.

  • Raoul K.

I really enjoy their food and the guys behind the counter are very friendly and approachable. I am not too familiar with Middle Eastern cuisine, and they took the time to explain what's what to me. I love their salads particularly the Balsamic vinaigrette dressing. It is so good and addictive! The Garlic spread that comes with the Chicken Kabob is AMAZING! I'm drooling as I'm writing this review.

    (5)
  • PATTY D.

Just okay. A little too much garlic and the meat is a cheaper cut than you find at Byblos up the street. The price is right though. Salad dressing does not taste like the mediterranean dressing I am used to.

    (3)
  • Louise F.

This place is a slam dunk! I have tried their falafel wraps, salad plates and chicken shwarma. Everything has been great so far. The people who run the place will take their time to explain everything to you, and it is a very warm and inviting atmosphere. Yum!

  • Yona K.

Ordered yesterday for my husband's birthday. Food was really delicious and fresh. We had chicken, lamb and kafta skewers with lots of rice pilaf and a huge fresh salad. Their hummus, babaghanush, and falafels were wonderful. They did forget to include Tzaziki (my favorite), but delivered it from Norwood to Newton! Thank you for making this birthday so great!!

    (5)
  • Frank L.

Just okay. not consistent every time I go there I taste a different falafel flavor and different Shawarma, either dry and lack the taste and or overcooked, however the chicken kebab are very good. The tahini sauce is perfect a lot of lemon and or no lemon. The salad is great. Sorry I do disagree with other reviewer.

    (2)
  • Marisa H.

Stopped in after walking by. The food was absolutely delicious (I had the chicken shawarma plate) and restaurant was clean. Order at the counter and wait for your number to be called - very fast! Will be back!

  • Mark B.

I've been a Lebanese cuisine addict since college. The last thirty years has been a meditation on the ideal felafel. To Beirut did not disappoint. The felafels were fluffy and light with an excellent chickpea and parsley flavor. The tahini sauce was creamy and rich and the turnip pickles cu through the fat without being too assertive. I had the schwarma all in - I liked it very much but I think I might have enjoyed a simpler version - one meat, vegetables, tahini, etc. My fellow diner at the next table had the lamb gyro plate that looked awesome. I also had the fried kibbeh app (because I'm a glutton) and it was so well prepared I was thrilled. The crust was crispy with a dough that was moist and meat that was perfectly seasoned. The only problem is that I live far away - over an hour - and it's not on my way home from work. I'll be back for that lamb gyro though. By the way, the bakery and grocery store next door has awesome treats.

  • Maryan P.

Best falafel Ive ever had. Loaded with flavor. You order at a counter and they call your number. Wasnt busy on.Sat at 12:30 but maybe thats due to another darn snowy day. Will definitely go back.as there are several more items I want to try.

    (4)
  • Emily S.

Such a treasure. The food is amazing and the staff is friendly and locally based. I have been here to sit down and eat and have experience with the delivery. All flawless experiences. The Gyro is my go to, so good. The lamb is tender and so perfectly seasoned. I tried Chicken Livers for the first time here and fell in love with something I never thought I would eat!

    (5)
  • Shawn W.

Best Shawarma around! Mediterranean wrap with either chicken or beef that is roasting on a spit. It's delicious & fresh! The owner is really nice too! Try their freshly made falafel...they give you a delicious sauce to dip it in. Cool & unusual drinks too, including beer & wine. Don't go here expecting a fancy restaurant. But if you want authentic Mediterranean/Lebanese food that is quick & fresh....this is your place. REALLY GOOD PRICES!!

    (5)
  • Joanne R.

I can't say I've tried many dishes I typically order the spicy chicken shawarma plate and am always extremely satisfied. Fast and friendly service.

    (4)
  • Nina S.

Get the flatbread! Much better than the pita. I tried the lamb gyro with the tzatziki and onions and it was pretty solid, mostly with the addition of the cholula hot sauce they have next to the forks and napkins. The bf tried the super shwarma and he preferred mine over his. He wasn't too fond of the spices and the meat wasn't as good. I'm sure you can find better Mediterranean food in the area, but this isn't a bad place to come by. Esp cause their prices are pretty fair! Both items were $5.99.

  • Faraz A.

Best Lebanese food in Boston, and I grew up in the UAE, so have eaten all kinds of shawarmas. I had been coming here since 2007 (well, to Cedar Market next door where they used to serve Shawarma). They expanded to this restaurant a few years ago, their kababs are the best, food is fresh, prices are excellent, service is warm - what else do you want. We make it a point to bring guests by here whenever they're visiting.

  • Shawn A.

Great place. Excellent gyro and Greek salad. I have also have the Trio Plate which is excellent. Spend the extra to add the peppers and onions, it makes it even better.

I'll give To Beirut the benefit of the doubt. Two of us had shared the Super Shawarma $5.99 (A combination of our Beef and Chicken Shawrma with lettuce, tomatos, onions, pickles, garlic sauce and tahini), and I found my half quite dry. Yet I was also sharing the Dandelion appetizer $6.99 (pan fried greens with caramelized onion with yet another friend and found the mix of dandelion greens and spinach to be quite moist and tasty. It also came with perhaps 6 quarter pieces of pita, which made it more filling than initially expected. Other friends enjoyed their wraps including the one who ordered the falafel roll up $3.99, and another her Late-Night Lamb Gyro $6.49 (tzatziki, onion, tomatoe and lettuce - stuffed with french fries). A tablemate's Greek Lamb Burger $6.99 (served with tomato, onion, tzatziki, spinach and stuffed with french fries) came with an option of sides and looked quite red and moist - well, the lamb patty did anyhow. Unfortunately the cashier did not differentiate the included sides (french fries, cajun fries, onion rings, salad or rice) with those which had a surcharge (Tabouleh, Fatoush Salad for $2.50 extra) when asking my friend what he would like. The Tabouleh was quite smartly packed in a plastic container, thus protecting the lamb burger from its moistness. The onion rings were crisp and had a sprinkling of spice topping it. The primary reason for my benefit of the doubt however was that my Shawarma partner had enjoyed her half - we figured that her portion had somehow ended up with all of the dressing. So they can do better than I had experienced, although it would be adviseable that they should spread the ingredients throughout each wrap as a rule to avoid such deserts of flavors and moistness.

Great place, nice folks, hangout location. Not quite enough vegetarian option, but the falafel is always great.

    (4)
  • Matt L.

Been maybe 5 or 6 times now. Always good, prices are low, employees are nice and know their menu and the timing is great. Hard to beat for Mediterranean food.

    (5)
  • Bread Man S.

The dinner plates we took home were not great, the spicy chicken was just ok and not exciting at all and really was not a lot of meat, meat was put on top of a lot of rice. Same with the beef shawarma. We really did not care much for it. Too bad. Usually my shawarma sandwich is much better than the dinner plates I got for take out. The service is great, they are clean and the place is well maintained. There are many great choices there though.

  • Hannah S.

I cannot say enough good thing about this place. Everything is fresh, made to order, healthy, and unbelievably delicious. Staff is so friendly, family owned business and the prices are very affordable. Chicken Kabobs, beef Shawarma, garlic sauce and baklava are to die for!!!!!

    (5)
  • T F.

Awesome place to grab a wrap to go or sit in and enjoy a plate. Affordable, fresh, and consistent. Whether you go with kabob, shawarma, or falafel - all great! Worth a trip if your in the area!

  • Elizabeth M.

We thought that we knew every Middle Eastern restaurant in the Boston area but were happily surprised when a friend asked us to dinner at To Beirut last night. The upscale café delivers some pretty fantastic appetizers, wraps, and who could forget the rice pudding with toasted pistachios. The open concept kitchen is so much fun to watch. This is a fantastic, authentic, family owned restaurant with extremely reasonable prices. I would definitely go back when I am in the area and would recommend it to my friends and family.

  • Phil I.

I always get take out... the chicken shwarma is always phenomenal. Sometimes get tabouleh and rice pilaf as well. Everything I've ever had at this place, and back when I used to get shwarmas next door, is awesome...

Excellent food and always consistent. The staff is super nice and it's take out I don't feel guilty about serving to my kids. It took us 2 years to try this place and now we eat here often.

Simply delicious!! I've had multiple mouth watering meals with them, both delivered and take-out, and each has topped the previous one. Ingredients are clearly fresh and meals are put together with lots of love. Delivery is very speedy, in spite of being all the way across town. Very highly recommended!!

  • Marc S.

Never had such soft, moist, fresh-tasting falafel! The tahini was great, too. Falafel was the crown jewel in our order of the trio platter and chicken shawarma plate. The kafta was flavorful, lamb and chicken super-tender. Since moving from Detroit, we had hoped to find a Lebanese restaurant as good as this. Thank you To Beirut. You're our go-to from now on.

  • Rana A.

Why did this get such high reviews? It is definitely not worth the four star rating that is for sure. As a middle easterner, I am spoiled rotten by my moms exquisite authentic fresh food. As a traveler to the Middle East, I've tasted my fair share of the food. So I have developed quite a palate for what is good middle eastern food. This place does not cut it. I ordered the falafel plate and the beef shawarma. The falafel was cold and super soft. When you stick a fork in falafel, it should not break. The structure should hold. That is how you know it is fresh. I stuck a fork in the falafel and it crumbled. My dad (straight out of the Middle East) thought it tasted old and was very disappointed. Le sigh. The shawarma was very dry and kind of tasteless. It was barely warm and felt like it had been heated up, not cut off of a nice slab of roasting meat. I basically stomached the shawarma because I was hungry after a long day of sight seeing. I must admit though that the rice was good. The service was okay and the ambiance was nice. So two stars. So why the good rating? Hell if I know.

  • Jim P.

I wish I could give this restaurant six stars. I have been looking for a place like this for years and a fantastic one just pops up in my own backyard. Friendly, fast and most importantly - authentic. The shawarma is phenomenal, the entrees are delicious and the service is top notch. Their menu is extensive and delicious but best of all - they deliver! I cannot recommend this place enough!

  • Mark O.

I came here to try their falafel. The falafel was good, but not among the best I've experienced. That said, it is decent value for money.

  • Laurel B.

Absolutely incredible!!! Best middle eastern food I've had in Mass!! Twenty minute drive from my place in foxboro but it's so worth it! I'll definitely come back again.

    (5)
  • S R.

I've had takeout and have eaten in. It's a small, family-run business and the staff are very friendly. The food is excellent. Tender chicken that has been marinated in yogurt, wonderful, flavorful veggie kibbe balls, garlicy dandelion greens. Their labna (yogurt) used for dipping is phenomenal. They also have an array of homemade Lebanese and Middle Eastern desserts--I highly recommend the namoura, sweetened with rose water. Not too syrupy and not too dry. Prices are very reasonable.

About a month after visiting Israel I got hit with a falafel craving and had the excuse to finally try this place out. I'm no culinary expert but the food is great for the value (seriously $5 falafel). I went on a Saturday night and it was busy but not crowded...interestingly enough they were playing some super-geeky dubstep which I was fine with but I'm not sure about everyone else, haha. Decor is modern, well-lit, place was clean and staff was friendly. Order was up in like 2 minutes, like, QSR fast. Plus I got a big spoonful of tzatziki sauce at no extra charge...mmmm. They also have some unique desserts like fruit tarts. A nice alternative on a Saturday night to the normal Norwood townie-infested bars! :)

This is the best Shawarma I've ever had, and I make it a point to hit up every Shawarma spot anytime I'm in a different city. I had the chicken/beef Shawarma combo and it was amazing. Been here twice and each time was delicious. Fairly priced too, very happy I've found this gem!

Five stars for the great service, cauliflower and eggplant roll up for under $5, surprisingly good music and people watching. And the complimentary tea while I hangout for an extra hour to study :)

  • Grant F.

The food was great, the service was fast, and the prices couldn't be beaten. The gyro I had hit the spot and the humus was excellent. My only complaint is that it's not terribly close to Boston.

  • N K.

Think I will always be spoiled by the Falafel King in Downtown Crossing. To Beirut has a clean and comfortable seating area and broad menu. Chicken shawarma is shaved dry in a pile and sitting out waiting to be served. I have had Israeli, Iraqi, Turkish and Egyptian falafel and have to say the To Beirut offering was dense and dry. Now I know. Nice presentation, and good portions.

Come to To-Beirut if you want awesome, healthy food. I always get the lamb kabob wrap, the fixings are always super fresh and there is plenty of lamb. My boyfriend is a picky eater but he gobbles down the food here. Aziz takes so much pride in his food and his establishment (recently renovated/expanded). What's really great is that they serve wine and beer (try the Almaza beer, it's a great Lebanese brew). After we eat, we always go next door to stock up at Cedar Market, their open market with fresh produce, an awesome bakery and meat counter. Support the locals and get some culture. Trust me, you'll be glad.

Can I give 6 stars?!?!? This place is great. Been here numerous times. The quality, authenticity and value of this Middle Eastern food will not disappoint you. I'm Lebanese and I've been eating this kind of food for many decades. Give them a try. I guarantee you'll come back.

This place is great. Has very inexpensive food that's also incredibly delicious. I wasn't a fan of middle eastern food until I gave this place a try. Highly recommended.

a 5 star establishment, hands down. Authentic Lebanese food, with great portions, fair prices, and excellent quality/ingredients. You'd be a fool not to eat here if it is accessible. Ya allah!

Great food, ask for the white Tzatziki sauce. Great lunch for about $10 without a drink. They also deliver.

Very nice place. The lamb kebabs were flavorful and tender. The staff was courteous. Sizable portions so U won't leave hungry!

  • Raymond B.

Delicious food, great Atmosphere, and most importantly great schwarma! I had the spicy chicken schwarma, it is basically a Buffalo chicken cooked in typical schwarma fashion. Different falafel then I am used to but they are great as well! Awesome simple sauces to go along with everything you order as well! I would highly suggest to anyone who is in the area and in the mood for Middle Eastern style food! Will be visiting again ASAP!

    (5)
  • An L.

Falafel wrap was good. I had the vege kibbe - it was interesting with spinach on the inside, but seemed like heavy deep fry on the outside which made it less interesting. Very clean seating area and bathroom. Quite impressive for mediterranean place.

  • Matt B.

The food here is absolutely incredible. Delicious. The service is amazing as well and more than accommodating. Chicken and beef super shawarma!!!!!!

Holy Shawarma! This place is very friendly - have great food at a great price, made to order. The chicken shawarma is the best in Massachusetts. The owners are extremely friendly and courteous. This is one of my favorite places to grab some quick food.

  • Little Miss C.

Excellent food! I had no idea such great middle eastern food existed in the burbs!! Prices are reasonable, portions are pretty big and everything is fresh and authentic! I recommed the lamb kebab, and spicy chicken shwarma plate. Call me the Terminator because " I'll be baaack"

  • Jane H.

Now I'm faced w/the lunchtime dilemma of choosing between the vegan kibbe balls, lentil soup, or the beef shawarma wrap. The modestly-named "garlic sauce" is jaw-droppingly delicious, the most wonderful aioli I've ever tasted, brilliantly white and fluffy, like clouds from heaven.

    (5)
  • J C.

This place has awesome food. Great for vegetarians. I've had the falafel, veg kebbe, hummus, babaghanoush. Everything is yummy. Their salads are fresh and relish. Get the house salad dressing! The staff are very nice and friendly. I highly recommend this place!

    (5)
  • Maya S.

Found this place while we were driving through the area. So glad we did! Their hummus is probably one of the best I've ever tasted and the falafallos were superb. We ordered the vegetarian and the falafel plate and both were seriously yummy. Loved how well presented it was too. Seriously, why are you still reading this?! Go To Beirut NOW!

    (5)
  • Rafael B.

Sorry to disagree with others, but this place is only okay (few months back). Came here to try shawarma, had chicken, beef and gyro, all three were dry and all that dressing they put in it didn't mask the dryness of meat. Very disappointing, I love nice juicy shawarma. Everyone there seems nice and I'm sure their other food is good... ps im tempted to give them another try, i love gyros, just had a really good one in nyc couple of weeks ago, can't stop thinking about it, want more :)

  • Marie H.

My husband and I finally went there last night for his birthday. We loved it. I was impressed that for a a take-out place they had a clean contemporary dining room, and the dishes were all well presented on hefty square porcelain plates. But, that's only the half of it, once we tried our meals, including our salads, we were hooked! I got the spicy chicken schwarma plate, he got the beef kabob plate. I highly recommend that whatever you order you spring for the "plate". It comes with a starter salad of mixed greens and a balsamic vinaigrette dressing, on the side. The entree comes with rice pilaf with vermicelli, and a large dollop of greek yogurt and houmous, and your entree is placed over two large pita triangles. We both ate every single bite. Than we checked out the Lebanese market next door. We will definitely be back!

  • Paul M.

This is my favorite place. Beef and chicken shawarma plate is my go to. Its the quickest. Comes w fresh salad and rice. Lettuce different in take out and they charge a dollar for hot sauce/paste. I just want something like shiracha which i sneak in now. I m crazy. I like to eat at the front tables looking out to the street. A sign on tables say don t move them. I want to move them so bad. I really do. Small 1-2 ft temp move. I ve tried almost the whole menu. I could eat here everyday. If u could just let me scoot over the table a touch and keep my hot sauce there.

I lived in Montreal for several years and never thought I'd find Middle Eastern food as good again, then I ate at To Beirut. I bought the veggie platter and meat lover platter for takeout and was impressed by the range and assortment in each. I'd go back for the dandelion greens and caramelized onions in an heartbeat. Plus there's garlic sauce, which is so addicting. To Beirut is a great gem in a small town.

Good food and cheap! Get the chicken shawarma (didn't care for the beef), falafel, chicken kabob, hummus and french fries w/the garlic sauce. It's very much a take out place, but there's seating and the restaurant is clean and spacious.

Came here with my parents last night. We had three plates between us -- grape leaves, beef kabob and lamb kabob. The lamb kabob was so good I wanted to quit school and marry it. Don't neglect the market/bakery next door, either.

The food here is consistently fantastic. My go to is the Lamb Kabob dinner. Service sometimes gets a little slow and i have noticed that the prices are slowly creeping up.

The first time I went to eat at this restaurant it was closed although online and on the door it said it was open on Mondays. It isn't. So I went again this past Thursday. I really wanted a plate with baba, hummus, tabouleh and grape leaves but they do not offer that. On the menu, is Falafel Chip Dip-Mania which states, "baked falafel with a crazy variety of dips including: hummus, baba ghanoush, tahine sauce, tatziki sauce, garlic sauce and falaffalo sauce" for $6.99. I started to order this and was told, oh it is a mistake, there is only one dip you can choose. Really, then why is it called Dip-Mania with a crazy variety of dips? I asked for water with my meal and was told I had to buy bottled water. I was under the belief that a restaurant had to give you water if asked. I noticed most people bought roll ups. I ended up getting a serving of baba ghanoush and a serving of hummus plus a fatoush salad. The salad was not like any other fatoush salad I have had. It was loaded with pita chips and very little salad and a dressing that was very vinegary. To say the least, I was not pleased with my experience. As I said, most people were eating roll ups and seemed satisfied with that.

We always have a tasty lunch here. Amazing wraps- if you like buffalo chicken- try their spicy chicken wrap -- so delish! Also- the staff is very friendly, they have new things to try! Always pleased with their service.

Haven't had the falafel here but the shawarma has been consistently good. Perfect crunch on the pita wrap and the insides are always juicy. Today I had the hummus and it is quite possibly the best I've had. The consistency was perfect and it had great flavor. If you're in Norwood center, go here. One of the best restaurants in town.

The food is absolutely delicious and spot on every time! My colleagues and I have been ordering weekly (at least once!) for quite some time and we are still just as impressed. The prices are fantastic and the portions are large which makes it even better. The meat kebbe balls and the chicken kabob salad are my favorite so far. So worth a try!!

What a find! Chronicle had a segment on this place a while back. I stopped by for lunch and was very impressed. The place is spotless with an open kitchen and plenty of seating. The staff is very laid-back and friendly, and seems to take pride in what they do. The menu is varied and reasonably-priced. They have beer and 'local' lebanese/greek wines, which I thought was cool. I ordered the hummus and a chicken shwarma on wheat pita. Delish! I will bring the coworkers with me next time! I am so glad to have a good, local place like this nearby.

We tried almost everything, and not a single item disappointed. I had kabobs and my wife the falafal. (Plus numerous side such as grape leaves and yogurt.) Locals who came in were friendly, and struck up conversations about the food. Everything was well cooked and flavorful. We will definitely be returning.

The food here is absolutely delicious! This was my first time here and I will surely be back. I ate with. Friend from out of town whom swears that she will drive over an hour for this food. We got the vegetarian. Plate along with the veg kibbe. Yum

Went for the first time today to check it out since I've heard good things. Well, To Beirut did not disappoint. Nice atmosphere and I liked the open kitchen concept. We ordered an array of food. They have a lot to choose from. Chicken Kabobs - really good. Seasoned and trimmed really well. Beef Kabobs - very good also. Again, seasoned and trimmed really well. Chicken schwarma was just OK. Unfortunately, it wasn't moist and flavorful. It was kind of dry. I've had better. But overall, the food here was good and definitely a good value; the atmosphere was pleasant enough; and the service was friendly and accommodating. Worth the trip!

Saw the piece on the TV show Chronicle and decided to come here with my in-laws. I think To Beirut offers by far one of the best falafel sandwiches I have tasted. I highly recommend it. Another favorite is the chicken shawarma, the sauce is incredible. The place is very casual and clean. Thumbs up for the 2 double doors so there is never a draft of cold air as customers enter the restaurant. I will definitely come back.

These guys are simply the best middle-eastern food around. When I say the best, I mean the best. I'm talking about better than places in Boston and I have tried MANY places in Boston. They're also cost effective. We have been their clients for years. This place is an all family owned and run business. They are the most courteous and friendly people. Very sweet people. They also have the market next door, Cedar, which has been there for many year. This is where the food used to be as well. This place is full of fresh produce, sweets from their bakery and other middle-eastern goodies. Definitely two wonderful treasures.

"To Beirut" is what EVERY town is missing! Ordered their beef shawarma, garlic labneh, tabouleh and fries... amazing! The shawarma was moist and flavorful, freshly sliced and every bite filled with seasoning. I loved that they pressed the wrap so it was lightly crunchy on the outside. The tabouleh was delish, and just the way I prefer with lot of finely chopped parsley (not overloaded with wheat germ like a lot of places make). My favorite however was the garlic labneh garnished with zater and olives. I could have had that for lunch alone. And if anyone is new to Middle Eastern food, what's great when you order fries is that they give you garlic mayo dip on the side... ahh it's like heaven! This is what I expected at a Middle Eastern cafe and they hit all the marks. They were also very friendly and the place is very clean.

Stopped at To Beirut for a couple of takeout falafel plates last weekend, and my daughter and I (both vegetarians) were delighted. The food was fresh and well prepared, and the falafel just spicy and moist enough. The real treat, though, was the vegetable soup I added to our order at the last minute. It was a thick tomato chowder with large chunks of potato, carrot and a few beans. Heavenly! Next time, I will make a meal just of the soup! The only down side was that the pita was dry from sitting out all day. We got both whole wheat and white pita. The whole wheat was fresher, but I preferred the white. We will definitely return.

Solid 4 stars maybe 4.5 stars. Very good food at very good prices. $8 for a chicken and beef shwarma plate. Great hummus! Casual restaurant no waiter service and plenty of seats to eat.
