Ok so the girl working the front counter talks to much and is more worried about telling you about her life than taking your order. The manager is crazy. Yelling at everyone in there. Stared to question customer if he paid or not. I have never seen such poor service in my life. Please fix.

Hands down the worst papa Gino's experience I've ever had. Bottom of the pizza was raw and extremely sparse amounts of pepperoni. They use the conveyor belt type oven which makes an awful pizza. I'm typically a huge fan of Gino's but this location makes frozen pizza look good. Will NOT return.

I have been to many Papa Ginos, the past year the staff here are great. Friendly, clean, happy atmosphere. The delivery man is very nice as well, he's been here for years. I'm in customer service, I believe there's no excuse for a bad attitude. I hate walking into a restaurant, sub shop, whatever, and the staff is looking down at what they are doing. No "Hi" no greeting at all. It pisses me off. The man making the pizza greets you as soon as you walk in. If I ask for my pizza to be taken out a minute early.....they listen and I appreciate the rare pizza joints that don't burn my damn pizza! :)

Had a slice of pizza there today. It was pretty good. The people were friendly. I did wonder about these two red buckets full of some kind of liquid on the shelf behind the cash registers between the registers and the pass through for the pizza comes out. I think it must have been some kind of cleaning fluid or something but it seemed really odd that they'd have two red buckets full of something in the food handling area. Also, the front counter where you order is really small and they had a guy using most of the counter at 6 o'clock tonight putting pizza boxes together. It seems to me that should be something that should be done in the back, or not during dinner hours at least. one final thing, as a small business owner myself, at other Papa Gino's I've been to they typically try to upsell you with soda or bread sticks or something like that. The attempt at the upsell doesn't bother me at all, I understand it, but they didn't even attempt it during my visit. Just somethings I thought the franchise owner might want to know. Again, the pizza was decent. No complaints there.

Seasonal Lobster Roll in New England Franchised Pizza Place=A-Ok lol! I felt doomed when my Chinese grandma said, "Let's go Papa Gino's; it's really good." How could I say no? She didn't even really like her meatball sub-"too soft." lol Who knew you could get a mad. dece. lobstah roll at Papa Ginos?! Yaye New England! Pleasantly surprised kid-lots of meat, some claw, tasted pretty fresh, same toasted cheap bun like you get in the fancier places. Maybe not the freshest smelling L-Roll in the area, maybe not enough green, and a little too much mayo,-but who doesn't like lots of meat and fat, come' on. The mayo is what's happening. Satisfying with a bag of baked lays and gingerale. I could use some damn vegetables but that confuses fast food franchises. Only had minor indigestion-but it filled the need with my summer fantasy lol! If you are shopping till you drop in Newton and don't want to drop serious coin on an expensive eatery, or if you are totally clueless on the whole fresh pizzeria concept, come stop at Papa Gino's place-it's clean, quick, and gets the job done. Teacher Lakeshore and Michael's stop! However, let's be real, you can already afford to shop in Newton you probably can do better and are more educated to your culinary options..i.e. eat at home lol. Sorry Pops!! You just ain't My Real Daddy-Tom cooks everything fresh and serves balanced meals. Are you not just like all the other Franky Franchises that have that special way of taking the tender loving care out of food? Sorry if I sound like a total food snob-but my body is a temple. That being said-Lobsta Roll me Papa G!!

For some reason this Papa Gino's is better than other Papa Gino's The people here are super friendly, and the pizza is really good - I swear it tastes better than a lot of the other Papa Gino's. And even though it's a chain, this particular location has a cozy non-chain feel to it. Plus, it's inexpensive!

The last2 times we ordered from this Papa Gino's it took over an hour both times for our pizza's to be delivered. The first time the manager gave me a credit for half the price of the order as it was luke warm when it arrived. The second time I had used the credit plus $5 that had been on my rewards card, when I called for the 3rd time to see where my order was, he manager said well you don't have to pay for it. I will never order from this Papa Gino's ever again! They are rude and unprofessional.

Yes, local/neighborhood pizza is almost always better. But in the world of fast food/franchise pizza, I think Papa Gino's is the best. I really like that I can place on order on their website. I am able to log in, and the site remembers my address, previous orders and even credit card info. I put an order in on the website before I leave home and my wife and kids are just digging in to their first piece when I get home from work.

I went here once a while ago right after work, It was my first and last time there. I was with a friend and right when we walked in it was empty and the owner was yelling about an order that was put in for over one hundred dollars and never picked up. At first we ignored it but after about ten minutes I finally had enough, knowing that the food would go to waste I politely offered to take it and that I would gladly pay for some of it. Right after I said that the manager accused me of putting in the order, but that wasn't all he started yelling at ME, saying 'If I couldn't pay for all of it, I was no use to him' which completely threw me off since I had never been spoken to in this manner at an eating establishment. Most awful expirience I have had at a restaurant.

This is one of those times where I question the ratings system...on the one hand, if you compare Papa Gino's to all restaurants in the world, I wouldn't rate it very high because hello, no alcohol and it is not exactly fine dining. But if I am comparing it to other venues with similar styles, menus, and dining experiences, then I want to rate it very high! I love pizza. Love love love. Love brick oven, gourmet pizza, nyc style, slices at random stands, and perhaps most of all--classic delivery pizza. Papa Gino's is delicious, and they are really nice at this location. I love the ratio of cheese to marinara, and the crust is a nice balance between thin and thick. Not too crispy, but not chewy and soft either. So I am giving them a 3 because I don't really know how to appropriately rate them. If you want a fancy steak dinner, you are obviously on the wrong track. If you want really delicious delivery pizza, call Ginos.

I've tried the fancy pizza places and the local house of pizzas, but I always go back to Papa's. The traditional crust is not too thin and not too thick. The sauce is just right, not too chunky. And, the sauce to pizza to crust ratio is always just right. If you're in the mood for some good pizza with a crust that isn't soaked with grease and just the regular toppings, go to Papa's. For a chain, it still rates top on my list! They always have some deal going on, or you can check their website to get coupons or use your AAA card, too.

been there twice. go to the McDonald's across the street. they are slow in fixing even the simplest order. they leave your food sitting on the counter while you're waiting at the table. the burgers are greasy or just plain nasty. today , they couldn't even fix a mushroom and Swiss burger. instead, when i got home, i found a cheeseburger, burnt. furthermore, i don't even think they scrapped the grill because there was all sorts of burnt crap in my burger. Now my stomach is upset. Just gross.

At risk of angering the Mass natives...Papa's is just unremarkable. The pizza is like warmed over cardboard with bad sauce. The sandwiches can be okay and save this place from 1 star. But....the customer service ruins it all. Bad accuracy and surly attitudes. I know it's fast food and I should expect much on the service front but this place is just amazingly bad.
