Great food and cheap beer, the 1-2 combo I'm always looking for at a bar. Pint draft of rolling rock is $1.50, you can't beat that with a wet noodle. Pizza and clam cakes are mad good. Plenty of TVs make it the perfect place to watch sports. Parking on Brock ave infront of hazelwood park is never an issue. DJ on saturday nights, jukebox for the other nights and a pool table cover all the bases for your bar activities, they're only missing darts and foosball but you can't have it all. Proofs in the puddin', Best bar in the southend, just ask Jared!!!

We were playing in New Bedford and decided to try out this neighborhood bar that was featured on Bar Rescue. Gotta admit that when we drove up, we almost didn't go in but we were up for an adventure. When we walked in around 2:00 on a Saturday, there were a couple of regulars at the bar. We sat at the other end. The bartender was attentive and when he asked if we were local, we told him about the TV show drawing us in. That got him started. He told us all about the show, the competition to get on, the personalities, the works. The beer was cold. The pizza was awesome. The stories were great. We had a blast! Can't wait to go back with our sons.

The pizza at Libads is absolutely amazing to say the least. The staff is awesome and make you feel right at home. The bar is frequented by regulars and they are great to converse with. If you didn't know, the bar was featured on Spikes Bar Rescue, the food staff and drinks are great; if you're looking for a spot to relax and enjoy great pizza and food this is it!!

We went to Libads last night after seeing the episode of Bar Rescue. I have to be honest...the food was SPECTACULAR. We ordered the garlic knots and the Bourbon BBQ Pizza. Both were absolutely spectacular. They still have all of the cocktails that they featured on the show (we tried the one with Captain Morgan, and it was delicious), and the bartenders also recommended specific shots (the Breakfast shot and the Chocolate Covered Pretzel). Both were, again, delicious. The service was good, and the bartender was very friendly. The atmosphere is exactly what you would expect of a neighborhood bar....lots of regulars, and they are all like a family. The greatest surprise was that even though we were new, they accepted us right in as if we had been frequenting the bar for years. We felt right at home, had lots of fun with the staff and the regulars, and we can't wait to go back tomorrow night for karaoke. All in all, Libad's is FANTASTIC. We frequent a lot of different bars, and this bar just raised the "bar" (no pub intended). We will be back tomorrow!!

I live in Providence, so I don't head to New Bedford too often. But, like so many other people, I heard about this place because of Bar Rescue. I've been wanting to go, and finally had the perfect opportunity when I gave a friend a ride home to New Bedford. I don't know where to start. The place looks really good inside. It was not crowded, but it was a Tuesday night. The Bruins were on two or three screens and the Sox on others. The bartender was wearing a B's jersey. Yup, I was set to watch the Bruins. I ordered a Sam Summer, and the the bartender asked if I wanted lemon. I did, but it's nice when they ask. The menu does not look fancy, but they had all the standard bar options. I had to try the pizza. I couldn't believe some of the options: garlic and clams, scallops and bacon and more. They even have a personal size pizza and beer special for just $8. I went with that. There was a slight upcharge since I got the Sam. The pizza was bigger than personal size - I had leftovers. And it was REALLY GOOD. I had a second Sam and stayed for a while. I was shocked by the tab - only about $12.00. The Sam Adams was only $3.50! This place is worth the drive!

This bar caters to individuals with "Napoleonic complexes". Service was good until one of the little dudes at the bar felt threatened because his "Space was invaded". If you go there BEWARE of the corner of the bar next to the dance floor because a little dude resides there with his wife or girlfriend and he'll get mad at you when he catches his wife checking you out. This little dude is very, VERY, BIZARRE... I'm not sure if he owns this place or not but he sure acted like he did!!
