We arrived at the inn on June 19, 2014 to find a property that didn't look anything like it did on the web site. The outside was mossy and moldy looking. The inside looked like a run down Alaskan fishing lodge with furniture that was bought at a garage sale. We could not stay there for 5 nights. We had to pay our full deposit before we saw the inn and now are faced with the task of trying to get our money back from the uncooperative owners. I would rate this property a one or two star inn.

Top shelf. They hosted a large amount of family members for a wedding. Great attention to detail and friendly staff and Oreo (small dog on premises)

My husband and I enjoyed a wonderful four days at the Seven Sea Street Inn in early May. From the moment we stepped in the door, it felt like we were home. As other reviewers have noted, the inn is located just a few short blocks from the ferry. The owner, Matt, suggested, and arranged for, a sightseeing tour of the island, and we were glad that we took it. On our second day there, we rented bicycles, packed up a little lunch, and rode to the end of the island. The bike trail was great. The inn is very clean and cozy. It's very conveniently located to shops and restaurants, but also very peaceful and quiet. The breakfasts served in the dining room each morning were awesome. Some of the dishes we had during our stay included granolas, bowls of fresh strawberries, blueberries, and raspberries served with a side of yogurt dressing, an indescribable, delicious dish of baked steel cut oatmeal and golden raisins, chocolate-filled croissants, and a cinnamon swirl bread. Claudia, the innkeeper, provided the baked goods and kept us guessing as to what fabulous dishes we would have each day. Coffee, tea, and cookies were available to us throughout the day. In addition to the wonderful food, drinks, and hospitality, we met new people at breakfast during our stay. We knew we'd made the right selection on our first day when we met a mother and her two grown daughters at breakfast. They have been going to Nantucket for 23 years. Once they no longer had small children in tow and had found the Seven Sea Street Inn, they never changed accommodations. They have now been going to the Seven Sea Street Inn each year for the past 10 years. Guests are welcome to use the computer on the third floor. There are adorable little sitting areas throughout the inn on each of the three floors, and a widow's walk up a spiral staircase for those who care to venture out there. You won't be disappointed with the Seven Sea Street Inn. Matt and Claudia also made our ferry reservations for us, for which they were able to get a discount, so be sure to ask about that when making your reservations at the Seven Sea Street Inn. I hope you enjoy your stay as much as we enjoyed ours!

We enjoyed this attractive B&B in March. The inn is very cozy inside with lots of beautiful exposed wood. The reception has nice hot beverages and even delicious homemade cookies 24/7. The owner Matt is friendly and has good advice for sightseeing and restaurants. Conveniently located for walking to main square and ferry.

I absolutely LOVED my stay at 7 Sea St. The location was great, the room was comfortable, the inn was charming and the price was reasonable. The location of this B&B is perfect. It's a very short walk from the ferry terminal, which puts it right next to the main part of town. But it's also separate enough that it's very quiet. There's a "widow's walk" on the roof of the inn, kind of a small roof deck, from which you can look out over the harbor. I stayed in the main house, so this review is for the main house. The room was impeccably clean, and very cozy in an old timey New England way. And, surprisingly, it had better sound-proofing than most Courtyards by Marriott. All the linens and blankets smelled freshly laundered, and the staff seems to take great care of the rooms. There was also a library and a little common room with a fireplace if you want to relax outside your room. Breakfast was homemade and included things like muffins, warm strudel, fresh berries, and hard boiled eggs. All in all, it was just a really cozy, comfortable, clean and friendly place to stay. The innkeepers were really helpful, and we just felt at home there. I'll definitely be staying there next time I go. The innkeeper told me that they are open all year. I went in October and they had a really good package; it's worth looking to see if they have specials when you go.

My husband and I made reservations at this hotel for our trip to Nantucket over 4th of July week. When I called a month before arrival to request a crib for our room for our 14 month old son, we were told that children are not allowed and we would need to cancelled our reservation. I re-read through their website and there is NO disclosure that this is an ADULTS ONLY hotel. If you are going to practice age discrimination, be sure to put a disclosure up please and make it clear that children are not allowed. This almost ruined our entire trip, as we had everything planned around this two night stay. Thank goodness we found availability last minute at the Nantucket Inn. I will never entertain staying at Seven Seas, with our without our child.

Matt is great. The inn is a short walk from the ferry landing. Close to everything in town. The breakfasts are amazing, such delectable fare. Matt arranged for us to take a tour around the island with a guide and it was awesome, so insightful. Also watching the 4th of July fireworks from the roof was cool. This review has been sadly been put off for ages. Life gets in the way but I cannot believe that it has almost been 1 year since we were here. I remember it fondly and have great memories. I would love to go back, hopefully soon. Until then...
