This restaurant is every thing you would hope for in a little country diner. The first thing you will notice upon entering is you will probably be the only out-of-towner as this place is stacked with locals and for very good reason. The interior is country quaint, clean and well cared for. The Mug'n Muffin is breakfast and lunch only except on Friday nights, the only night they serve dinner. Service is prompt, friendly and the food arrives quickly from the kitchen. What struck me is the food quality and the way my breakfast had been prepared, every restaurant makes western omelets not every restaurant does it well. This omelet was light, fluffy, flavorful and cooked on the griddle at the proper low temperature for eggs. It was the the way the onions, green peppers and ham was prepped that maximized the flavor of all three omelet components. I'm not going to tell you what and how they did it, I am just going tell you go and see if you don't agree that this local breakfast nook isn't something very special!

Super fast service at this great family run place. Everything was tasty. I would go back again.

We ate here after camping and oh my word, what can I say? Service - awesome! Food - awesome! Price - awesome! Atmosphere - awesome! (cute, quaint country feel) And the coffee was fantastic! Fresh, strong, yummy. We have a kid with a severe dairy allergy and so it's not always easy for us to eat while out on the road. They could not have been any sweeter or more accomodating. If we are ever in the area again I will make a point to go there again. Awesome. Awesome. Awesome.

Went here for breakfast recently and enjoyed ourselves! Casual atmosphere which was great for dining with a toddler -- in fact, there were many young children dining. Staff were all friendly and helpful and food was very good. I got the veggie scramble which had a good amount of veggies in it. Husband got an omelet and enjoyed it. My son had a blueberry muffin which was huge and delicious as they cut it open, buttered and grilled it. And my grandmother enjoyed her eggs and bacon very much. We'll definitely be back!

Good breakfast. Bacon egg and cheese on a croissant and coffee were good.

It is obvious when you step into this place, it is where all the locals go and if you are like me, if the locals frequent a joint you know it is good! If you want home made, fresh good old fashioned food this is the place to go! Nice country decor and wonderful hospitality. A great place to dine alone on the go, they are fast and just the right portions or meet with your group of friends. LOVE the no 2 coffee mugs alike as they find or locals go through their cupboards and bring in for them, it adds to the conversation. You will not be disappointed - breakfast or Lunch, and I haven't gone yet but I herd a few locals saying NO ONE beats their Friday fresh fish fries.

The Mug & Muffin is a cozy little diner on Route 32 with food that's simple, hearty, filling, inexpensive, and not much to write home about. I ordered pancakes, home fries, kielbasa, and a cup of tea and left full and satisfied; not blown away, but still happy. I'd recommend the M&M if you're a local looking for a hangout or a traveler passing through, but not if you're seeking a fine dining experience.

Thanks to these guys for feeding truck loads of people during the power outages. Everyone was busting ass to make sure a lot of cold, miserable people had hot breakfasts. Sometimes it's small things like this that keep people's spirits up. It was appreciated. Good, strong coffee. Great pancakes.
