Food was amazing! I had the filet mignon and my husband had the ny strip steak. We were both really happy! The best though was the spinach and artichoke dip which I normally would chose as an app but my husband wanted it and im glad he did! Service was not overly friendly but accurate. Can't wait to go back!

Not bad. Thank you Edgar for putting up with my food choices. Would have given you 5 stars but my salad came dressed when I asked for it on the side.

One of the better steak houses around. Nothing to special, but always a good meal. Big portions, nice atmosphere. Waitstaff is always friendly.

Great place to take a date for a rich time. Best Martini I have ever had in my life. Awesome customer at the bar. The lighting really sets a romantic tone, soft music that allowed us to carry a pleasant conversation.

Stumbled upon this place while traveling in Boston. Nice wait staff and bartenders. It was the middle of the NE & Colts game when I arrived. I wanted a steak and the 10zo Fillet with the Peppercorn and steak fries and a Caesar salad sounded just right. Like my steak on the far side of med rare and so he advised med rare plus. The steak came out perfect. The peppercorn sauce could use a little more spice - kind of bland, but the flavor was good. The steak fries were perfect. My only criticism is the Caesar salad was very wet, like it had been sitting in dressing for several hours. Really good food and ambience overall and friendly spot. I'd recommend it and go there again.

Food, service and atmosphere all top notch. Have been here on multiple occasions and can not say enough about the quality of food and service. Seafood tower is amazing. Last time here was with a party of 8 and everyone loved their meals. Nobody in the group was disappointed. I've always gotten the cowboy steak (26 OZ rib-eye) was cooked perfectly (medium rare) and flavor was fantastic. Almost forgot. A must to try are the scallops wrapped in bacon. Absolutely the best I have ever had! Owner is very nice and accommodating. I've seen him check on almost every table personally.

Im WILD about Wildwood!!! Did girls night here recently and What a great atmosphere!! Came several years ago and it was very good but now its renovated with a new menu!!! Beautiful Bar area!! Drinks and apps were delicious...so good I had to order some for take out for my bf!! Prime Rib Smokehouse quesidillas were the best!!! Ordered an entree' for takeout as well for my bf and all was delicious!!! Our waiter was really nice, professional, and offered drink suggestions since the menu was new since I had been back! Booths in the bar area where we sat were classy, clean and fun...had a party of fun middle aged women sitting near us taking selfies!! Another man from a close by party offered to take a pic for us!! So nice of him...What a riot! Had a blast!! Cant wait to go again!!

My boyfriend and I came here for the first time on Valentine's Day, the second we walked in the hostess asked if we had been helped yet and was very apologetic when she found out we hadn't been. When we were seated we were served pretty much right away. The service was a little slow but you can't expect much when going out to eat on Valentine's Day. I ordered a medium rare steak and it was pretty bloody. We ordered the chocolate cake for dessert and it was sort of dry. When we give our take out boxes we were given a cheesecake instead of the chocolate cake we had ordered. Overall it was a good experience I look forward to going back again on a regular night.

This is my all time favorite restaurant! Because of where I live it's a longer drive than I usually would go for dinner but well worth it. I've always had delicious meals and friendly service here. I highly recommend Wildwood.

I've driven past this restaurant a dozen times and always wanted to check it out so I was thrilled when my (hot ticket) mother-in-law requested that we celebrate her 86th birthday here! The Wildwood did NOT disappoint! From the moment our party of four was greeted at the door until the time of our departure we were treated with top-of-the-line hospitality. The table service was top-notch, the food was delicious and even the surprise (scrumptious) birthday cake was delivered with the requisite Happy Birthday chorus that seemed to come from the heart! Mom LOVES oysters so she ordered up a plateful and exclaimed how each and every one was the best she'd ever had (I passed on the oysters, they're just not my thing). She also ordered coconut-battered shrimp (I usually pass on shrimp, too. Again, not really my thing) and insisted I try just one. Omigod! I'm a convert! For my part, I was delighted to find draft Dogfish Head 90-minute IPA on the drink menu so I opted for a couple of those. Yum, yum, yum! Mom ordered some sort of gin-and-cucumber-with-basil cocktail, that I tuned my nose up at, too (are you surprised), and insisted (again) that I have a taste. Yes, yes, yes! I want to serve those at one of our backyard soirees this summer! So Mom got the filet mignon stuffed with blue cheese and wrapped in bacon, my wife ordered a sirloin steak (I think), sister got the Kentucky bourbon sirloin and I chose the (big boy) Porterhouse steak. We all opted for Caesar side salads that were not only ginormous but were REAL Caesar salads complete with raw egg salad dressing over fresher than fresh hand-torn Romaine leaves, ample best-quality anchovies and obviously kitchen-made croutons! The BEST (and authentic) Caesar salad I've had in ages! I'd go back simply based on the quality of the Caesar salad! Our steaks were all cooked just the way we each like them. No need to send any of them back to the kitchen. Huge portions and, while I was the only one who managed to clean my plate, the ladies all left some meat on their plates to add to the bag for Fido at home. The chocolate birthday cake was to die for! I shy away from chocolate, these days, because it doesn't agree with me but I HAD to at least taste it...and have a few more bites. THE BEST! Mom pointed out that while every table was occupied and there was a low din of other diner's conversations, the acoustics in the restaurant are such that you can easily converse at your table and not be drowned out by the others' noise. The booth seating is uber-comfy and very roomy. The waitstaff, including the floor manager (or whatever her job title is), are professional, very friendly and laughed along with us. At no time during our three-hour visit(!) did we ever feel pressured to pay up and move on, I might add. Our party of four ALL agreed that ours was a FABULOUS dinner and a great choice on Mom's part. HAPPY 86th BIRTHDAY, MOM! And our gratitude to The Wildwood for making ours a wonderful evening together! It doesn't get any better. (Can't wait to go back, hang out at the bar, try out some 'old fashioned' cocktails and chow down on appetizers.) P.S. Cool observation window atop the wine cellar, too!

recently attended a business dinner here, that was wonderful and practically flawless. upon entrance, we were greeted warmly, and shown our way to our table. we were about twenty or so, and seated at a long table in a semi-private area. we ordered drinks off of the regular menu, and dinner from a limited menu. service was polite and attentive, without being nosy or pushy. drinks arrived fairly quickly after being ordered. the food: there was a large spinach dip with pita chips upon entrance, placed on a table in a serve-yourself scenario. pita chips were the perfect balance of crisp and chewy, and spin dip was YUM. cheesy, but also a good amount of vegetables (i'm certain there were chunks of celery in addition to the artichokes); it was great. we also had coconut shrimp served with some kind of honey mustard-ish sauce. shrimp were large, crisp on the outside, tender on the insider, and succulent. absolutely delicious with the sauce. rolls were warm, and delivered with family style mounds (think ice cream scoop) of butter. i had a caesar salad that was garnished with some garlicky croutons (excellent) and what appeared to be powdered parmesan cheese. that was a little disappointing. caesar salads really do need the bite of actual shards or shreddings of cheese. additionally, the dressing was thin. to me, caesar dressing should be a creamy, thick coating; this was not. part of that (and i know this from working in restaurants) is that a well-dressed salad doesn't require a lot of dressing; it simply requires a thorough tossing/coating. i get it- and every piece of lettuce had dressing on it. it just didn't live up to my expectations. (yes- i could have, and probably should have, asked for an extra side of dressing.) for my entree, i got the sirloin with shrimp scampi. the shrimp were PERFECT. beautifully cooked, and the sauce wasn't overpoweringly garlicky. it was salty, briny, slighty cheesy deliciousness. i asked for my steak to be cooked "inappropriately" rare. i received it at a proper rare. i won't begrudge them this point. most people who want rare steak, really want it medium rare. i can understand the hesitancy of a steakhouse to cook something "inappropriately" rare. meals with served with a baked potato, whose skin was properly salted (love the attention to detail), and sour cream was served butter-style (i.e. family style ice cream scoops, again). we also had steamed green beans, that were cooked just a bit too much for my liking. again, personal preference, is what it is. based on my experience tonight, especially in light of food AND service, i would highly recommend this restaurant. i will say that, since the tab was picked up for all of us, due to business expense, i can't speak to value. but in terms of the experience itself, i would absolutely return.

Got the New York Strip, house salad, and asparagus (in place of potatoes) Pros: -Steak cooked exactly as ordered -No wait to be seated -Comfy booth Cons: -Steak lacked any special or unique flavor -Salad lacked spinach, it was just green lettuce -Waitress, while nice and attentive, was not very friendly...could have just been having a bad day.... Overall it was a decent steak but nothing worth the price. Next time i'll probably just go to Longhorn.

I have hosted friends and family here and larger group business dinners. I have had better food and service with smaller parties. I was not impressed the last time I made reservations for a party larger than 8. The food was not as consistent and service faltered. However, each time I have been here with friends or family (groups 5 or less) I have had outstanding experience. My favorites here are the prime rib (some of the best around), calamari, and salmon. Solid dessert choices also.

Absolutely the worst dining experience I have ever had. My brother's wife ordered a steak medium well and it came medium rare. She asked for it to be cooked longer the waiter obliged. When the Assistant manager brought it back he dropped it on the table and walked away. We grabbed him to ask to wait until it was cut into to check to see how it was cooked. When we asked him to wait he said "why, it's already well done?" Not only was this a rude response it was not how she ordered the steak. The general manager was equally rude when approached about the behavior. I do not recommend this establishment for anything except a terrible experience.

My last visit I instructed the barender not to let me order a steak there again.. I told him to remind me that i'd be happier with a burger.. Ordered the Cowboy RibEye.. which was a gristle fest.. and thin.. It was surely a better steak than I could have gotten at a place like Denny's for less than half the money.. but.. you get the idea.. I don't go to Denny's for steak.. Still.. a great Caesar salad and quality drinks.

This is one of the places in town that I wish was consistently good. But it has fallen short all 4 times I've been there. From the flavorless steak, to the sauce that kept on giving, it's a pity that the food/service don't match the location. It a hip building with a cool, grown up decor, but they just don't have the right "stuff". I probably won't be going back unless they bring in some bada** new Chef. :-/

My wife and I decided to stop here for dinner after doing some shopping. The staff was friendly and attentive. The decor was very nice but the atmosphere was still casual. Our meal came with fresh rolls & butter and we both got the Caesar Salads which were exceptional. I had a NY cut steak and my wife had the Sirloin. Both were cooked exactly to order. The food came surprisingly fast and was well-timed. For dessert we had the Bailey's Creme Brulee which was awesome and then we went to have a few drinks at the bar. The bar staff really topped off the night as they were fun and entertaining. We certainly stop by more often when we are in town!

I was here last week while my cousin was visiting from out of town. We liked everything we ordered and the service was very good. Hawaiin flatbread, spinach dip, steak with fries, ceasar salads, prime rib with romanoff potatoes. My potatoes were a tad burnt on top and we found the dessert list generic and uninspiring but overall it was a good visit.

We've never had bad food at this place, it has always been really good. The atmosphere is really beautiful. For a steakhouse they also make really good fish, as weird as that sounds. My husband always gets the haddock. We also had bacon wrapped scallops for an appetizer. We've gone a couple of times and one time we had a really weird waitress who talked down to you like you were a preschooler. Kinda pissed my husband off so we didn't go back for a long time. But the last waitress we had was fine so maybe the weird one is gone. The chocolate cake is huge but really good. I split the cake with a friend and we still couldn't finish our halves. If you look at the dates of the reviews below it seems the place has improved.

Steaks seemed decent quality. Ordered med rare. When it arrived and I cut it open is was med rare but turned medium shortly thereafter. A steak place should understand the continuation of cooking once plated. Oysters were good. We ordered a dozen and the waitress brought them six at a time a little odd. Spilled water. Splashed my Martini. Took away a half drunk beer glass. Apologized profusely for everything. Large group near us had unruly kids that had half the clients turning their heads but staff didn't address it. Glad we didn't stay for desert. One the Brits side. They didn't charge extra for a substitution. Food was good. They should splurge for shaved Parmesan on the Caesar and offer an anchovy I'll try again with expectations.

Awesome atmosphere and menu. Little on the expensive side but nice place for a relaxing evening in one of their cozy booths. Raw bar was a nice start with the bluepoint oysters and the clam chowder delicious! The only disappointment was the prime rib but the bone in ribeye was fabulous. Definitely would recommend this place and will go back to try some of their other items on the extensive menu. Oh and the romanoff potatoes were the perfect side dish to the meal. Nice night out!

Traveling on business. A recommendation of the hotel. Greeted and Sat promptly. Took longer than usual for anyone to come to my table. Eventually my server; Emily was pouring me a large glass of ice water(perfect size). She took my drink order and appt order. Hey what the heck, I know what I wanted for dinner at this point, why not take that as well? I ordered a glass of chardonnay, the seared tuna appt and the New England salad with Salmon. The wine chilled and delicious. The appetizer, a large portion, yummy as well!! The Salad had the perfect amount of dressing, and the toppings to die for, but the salmon however, completely overcooked and dried out. Emily handled me with professionalism and courtesy. I enjoyed a second glass of wine. The atmosphere beautiful and inviting! I would return !!

I absolutely love this place! It never fails, drinks are fabulous and the food is amazing! The service and staff is impeccable and the price is perfect for a steak house. The ambiance is so romantic and upscale; the staff is very accommodating to substitutions. My go to place for great food and drinks and company

My girlfriends and I visited for dinner and sat at a high rise table in the bar. Sat there for a few minutes and the bartender acknowledged us and said our server would be with us shortly.. minutes went by and still nobody greeted us. I got up and saw two servers at the service bar and went over to ask if they could send our server over, one said 'sure,' but continued to watch the Bruins... a few minutes later, it was the same server I had spoken with, came over to get our drink order.. was a bit rude to us, but we just brushed it off -- a few of our dinners came out wrong and our server made excuses, but still the steak tips were great, salad was fresh, bread was warm -- food is really good, so that makes up for the poor service. i think if we had sat at the bar or had any other server, wildwood would certainly have received 5 stars.

  • Christine A.

Mixed review on food...had the broiled seafood and sadly it arrived drenched in oil and butter and crumb topping. Lobster claw and clam were too chewy to eat. Scallops were sandy and there was a very odd red 'stuffing' on the shrimp. Would never choose this dish again. This place has so much potential with the ambiance and decor and excellent service if they can get the food more consistent they could very easily be 5 star.

I've loved everything I've tried on this menu. It is a bit on the pricy side for this area, but the quality and portions of the food make it worth it. The blue cheese steak salad was phenomenal and the steak cooked to perfection. I also split a squash ravioli that was on special at the time and loved it. Of the 8 people I was at dinner with, everyone was raving about their food. I was very pleased with the wine list, and they have a full bar as well. Atmosphere is better than just about any place in the area, very neat decor. I also like the way the do service, it's almost like a cruise ship the way people work together. Especially for larger groups, the servers do a great job of tag teaming. Everyone was extremely attentive to us, even though the restaurant was packed. It's a great place for a date night! You can dress up or dress casual and you will fit in fine.

Very nice atmosphere, excellent service and the food is mouth watering good. The menu has something for everyone and its great for a romantic dinner for two or an evening out with friends and family. I typically order the filet and I have yet to be disappointed. The Caesar salad is the best I've ever had. And the mark of great restaurant is that they are happy to accommodate special requests. The service is part of what makes this place special. The wait staff is well versed in what they're serving and they are attentive without being annoying. Highly recommend Wildwood to anybody looking for a great steak.

Amazing steak and sides.. The service was sub-par the waiter removed my drink with still a 1/3 of the glass left.. He also wanted to take our order way before we weere ready and when we asked for more time he went MIA for 20-25 minutes? That sucks. The oysters were good but whoever was shucking them was a complete amateur almost all of them had pieces of shell in them eek! On to the good stuff: Nice interior, comfortable booth, and great entrees. We both loved our steaks they were cooked to perfection: his medium, mine medium-rare. I'd go back again if in the area but I wouldn't go out of my way to go there. A solid 7.

Our experience was so-so. We made reservations for 7, still had to wait 20-25 min. Once we were seated, I think we were under the air condition, it was freezing! The drinks were great. Service was slow, which I was ok with because I wanted a nice leisurely dinner, but if you have some place to be after, don't expect this to be a quick dinner. I got the ceasar salad with my meal, to be honest it was probably one of the worst ceasar salad's I've ever had(which I think is pretty hard to screw up), luckily the main course redeemed the meal. The sirloin was cooked to perfection! really juicy lots of flavor, the mashed potatoes were excellent, the sides were cold but what are you gunna do? The meal and drinks were really good (reasonably priced too I think). Overall I really liked the atmosphere of this place, and the steak was good so that's what counts in my book. While our experience wasn't out of this world, I would love to give this place another try.

We live in the area and have been going here over the last 13 years. If you are in the mood for a steak they do a great job. Mine have been always cooked the way I asked and I am a big fan of the bacon and blue cheese filet mignon. My DH loves there prime rib and even if you eat late, like we do, they ususaly have medium rare to rare pieces. My favorite appetizer is the tuna, yummy. We have on occasion have had issues with services but that is not the norm. They have a nice bar if you want to have a drink with friends and on Thursdays have great raw bar specials in the bar only. The bartenders are very friendly and accommodating.

I cracked my first Lobstah here!!! ( I know, I know its about darn time I cracked a lobster - I usually order lazy lobster)!! Walking in to this restaurant I could already smell the steaks cooking - if you are not hungry as soon as you smell it you will be! I went on a Tuesday night at 6pm. The place was fairly quiet - to be expected on a Tuesday night. We were seated right away and our waitress was very friendly and helpful. The friend I went with has been here hundreds of times (probably literally - it is her Friday night date night spot for her and her husband for many years). I was torn between a steak and some type of seafood. I asked the waitress if she preferred the Ranch steak tips or the Seafood platter - she guided me away from the tips and suggested the platter because it had a good assortment of seafood. She then brought us out warm rolls that were very good and you could tell were fresh. She offered us a salad but said it was $3 to add on - I was not that hungry so I passed. The food came out quickly and perfectly. Althought the plate was nothing to look at the food was very good EXCEPT I had a big bone in my fish when I bite into it (that is my #1 peeve when ordering fish) :( For dessert the two of us split the Bailey's Creme Brulee - it was very good!!

Came here last night for dinner with co-workers. We started with the chips and dip in the bar which were decent but need a little more spiciness to it. Once we go moved to our table we had 1/2 dozen oysters and seared ahi tuna for appetizers. We liked 2 out of the 3 varieties of oysters and seared ahi was done perfectly. The combination of the seasoning and the hot wasabi ranks it high on my favorite ahi's I've had in some time. For dinner I ordered the blackjack sirloin medium rare withe Romanoff potatoes and creamed corn with bacon. The meat was juicy and very flavorful. The Romanoff potatoes tasted great and the cream corn had a great texture and creaminess. The cream corn was one of my favorite side dishes that night. Afterwards we all shared the peach crisp. The brown sugar with the oats gave it just enough amount of sweetness without being over sweet. Top with a scoop of ice cream it was a nice way to end the dinner. Our waiters also gave great service and were funny and friendly.

Love this place! Only been a couple time, but every time was amazing! We both got the 10oz. Filet, which was so tender and delicious! Hubby got oysters on the half, love them. I got clam chowder. It was good, not great. Rolls were so warm and yummy! Service was literally almost perfect. Not one complaint! Went there for my birthday on a Saturday night. Had reservations for 7 pm, sat right on time. And got a ginormous piece of chocolate cake on the house because of my birthday! Definitely going back!!!

I came across this place by chance when I could not find a table at Long Horn, which was down the road. The decor is good for a steakhouse since that it is not too flash and does not have mounted animal heads, saddles or any kind of theme. Do not be scared when you walkover the glass panel that looks into the wine cellar, I consider it as a nice way of showing the patrons their cellar. The wine: Extensive wine list though I have to say that they might want to add more options by the glass. If you feel like splurging, I do recommend the Opus one. The food: I ordered the porterhouse steak with fries and it comes with a salad. The Steak itself is a bit smaller than other places (22 oz) for that price (29.99). It was cooked to perfection and I loved the fact that it had no seasonings at all since that this allows the restaurant to showcase the quality of the meat which is superb. I liked their fries but I do recommend that they provide a bigger plate so that the juices from the steak do not affect the crispiness of the fries. Service: It depends on where you are seated. If you are in the back of the restaurant, the service is a bit slow and they tend to forget about filling your water, asking you if you needed more drinks or if you needed the check. I do recommend this place for a nice steak dinner but not for a romantic date since that it can be a bit noisy on weekends.

Should know better. If you go to a steakhouse, get steak. I've noticed the quality of their food has gone down. Soggy Caesar salads now vs when they used to be creamy. Got a seafood platter the other night. The lobster claw was rancid and the stuffed shrimp was too dry and seafood stuffing shouldn't have peppers in it. Got a replacement claw and the outside was warm but the inside quite cold. Obviously just out if the icebox. The fish in the platter was also dry. The clam chowder before the meal was out if a can. This is a high end place for Marlborough and you don't serve things out if cans. I've been going here for many years and the last half dozen or do times the overall quality of the good, to me, has gone down but the prices are still top shelf high.

My fiance and I went here on valentines day with a very generous gift certificate. I have this ability to unknowingly pick the most expensive dish off a menu no matter what. I just decide something sounds good and I order it. Its been an ongoing joke with my fiance and I. I don't do it on purpose I just enjoy good food and I order what I am craving and what looks good. Well, I happened to pick the LEAST expensive dish when we were here. I was actually blown away by the price, this dish was so tasty. I got the honeymustard chicken, which is served over garlic mashed potatoes, butternut squash ravioli and asparagus and crispy onions. Wish I had taken a picture of this dish, so delicious and the portion is massive. This is the dish I will be going back for

I'd really give this place 3.5 stars. We came to this place after a recommendation from a co-worker. Despite being packed on a Tuesday night, we were seated very quickly. The waiter was quick to show, but wasn't too helpful. He took drink orders, but didn't offer us any appetizers and didn't take the time to cover the specials. Rather, he just handed us a list. When we asked him for some details about the specials he didn't seem to have too much information to share. I couldn't really figure out if he lacked the knowledge or if he was distracted for some reason. Either way, it wasn't a great representation of their service. I overheard several waiter from surrounding tables discussing drink, appetizer, special, and entree menus in great deal. They even went so far as to recommend pairings based on chef suggestions and their own personal tastes and experiences. Obviously our waiter was severely lacking in this area. Thankfully, the food spoke for itself. We ordered the oysters of the day. While they were a bit smaller than we expected, the flavor and texture were pretty good. Most of the table ordered a variety of standard steaks -filet, NY Strip, etc. I personally ordered the peppercorn filet and was pleased with my selection. The cut of meat seemed larger than the 10 oz cut advertised in the menu which was a bonus. Overall, I'd say that it was one of the better steaks that I've had in a while. The service kept tabs on us throughout dinner without being overbearing. The restaurant was a little packed that evening, so I was glad that they kept a good balance.

Five stars for accommodating us, and for great service, for a big group. We usually come here with the family, anywhere from 10 to 20 of us, and each time, they've accommodated us within 24 hours. Being a waitress myself, the service is timely, friendly, and we always get what we ordered. They are great with the kids too, especially because the kids in our group like to visit all of the adults at the table. (Ages: 1.5, 6, 8 & 8) Food is always good. I usually get some type of steak, and the steak is usually cooked perfectly, medium rare. My daughter gets the kid's prime rib, and it's hard for me to not take a bite or two because it's so good. My husband usually gets some type of cow too, and there's never anything left on his plate. The fresh oysters? I've had good ones, and not so good ones here, but keep in mind, it is a steakhouse. Fried calamari is always good too. The chocolate cake slice is huge, we usually get one piece and we still have leftovers. This is our first choice for dinner when everyone is in town.

The oysters were great but the rest of the food was only so-so. There was no flavor to my steak although it was cooked properly. The chocolate cake looked awesome, but was kind of dry. Overall, not a great place. It's a shame because the decor is really nice. I'd go back, but only for cocktails.

We went last night at 9:30pm (a Saturday night mind you!!!) and was told they seat until 10:55pm so we didn't expect what came next. We were rushed to make drink order, rushed for food order, and our waitress was totally disinterested in doing her job. (Luckily at least her "teammate" Bo was!). But oh yeah - no tuna, salmon or the lobster risotto special. I understand the special maybe running out but no tuna or salmon in the whole place? The app was terrible - artichoke dip that tasted like plastic. Salads clearly had been in fridge too long. Steaks were cooked perfectly though! But.....before we were even halfway done with them we were stared at by kitchen crew who clearly wanted to leave (this is now 11:05pm) which means they cleaned up very early. Now what would have happened if someone came in at 10:55!??! There were two other tables so we weren't the last ones and boy did we get the hint when THEY TURNED THE LIGHTS OFF. Really?!!?! Our waiter came by and asked if we would like anything else but dessert was not an option because "the dessert staff left already". We passed on after dinner drinks (would have been at least $45 more on the tab (and nearly $70 more with desserts too) since why would we drink in the dark? The bar still had people on it so I'm not sure when they close but rest assured we will not be coming back. Last year we brought 35 people here for office holiday party and were planning in it again. We will now NOT be coming here and will stick with somewhere that isn't so rude and would like the business and several thousands of dollars.

Chic looking place. Look down as you walk in. You can see the wine cellar through the glass floor! Don't laugh...I even liked the bathrooms. Those were also pretty cool. Reminds me of upscale places in Manhattan or night clubs. The staff is very friendly and attentive. They assign 2-3 waiters per table. They came out with a ginormous garden salad with terriyaki dressing. MMM GOOD. I only ate half of it and took home the rest which I enjoyed this morning for breakfast However, that is where my night took a downtown. This is a steakhouse, right? Their speciality is steak, right? Yeah, well.......I ordered a filet mignon medium. I got a steak with the ends done correctly, but the majority of the steak done rare. So, I enjoyed about 2 pieces of steak last night. I spoke to the waiter and asked them to do it medium. Either give me another piece or do the steak a few more minutes, right? Medium isn't that hard for a place specializing in steak. WRONG. The middle wasn't rare any longer, it was correct, medium. However, the majority of the steak was now so well done it was inedible. I again told my waiter. The owner came over and comped my steak. He also apologized and gave us all free desserts and cofee. The chocolate cake was HUGE and better than average tasting. OK, so you say this is an abberation. Perhaps it is, but not for last night. My sister in law had a similar experience. She ordered hers medium and got it well done. I think she would have even been happy with rare. So, they give her a new piece of steak identical to the original one. NO PINK. They comped that, too. She ended up getting fish and I'm sure she'll be happy with that. I'll stick to the chicken or the fish next time. Our 3 other people at the table were happy with that. I'm looking through these reviews and it appears to be a common theme. I'm unsure why the owner isn't doing something other than comping meals for temperature problems with the core food. I just don't get it. How can he be turning a profit? Nice guy and nice staff, though. I hope they improve soon and "get it." My family loves the place and goes there often

Visited The Wildwood again on Saturday night - great dinner. For app's we got the spinach/artichoke dip which was very good. We also had the calamari, which is just ok -- not enough calamari and too much onion strings. Three of us had the porterhouse. It was one of the only times the sirloin was better than the filet -- it was cooked perfectly and was one of the tastiest porterhouses I've ever had. I tasted the salmon on cedar plank -- absolutely delicious. The waitstaff was good, but a little slow at first. Price is always very reasonable for the quality of the food.

Let me say this - i love going to the Wildwood to meet up with friends and enjoy a quick bite at the bar (the bartenders here are great). Last night we ate at the bar and the Filet was OUTSTANDING!

Oysters and martini's were perfect! Could not wait to get my porterhouse steak, Very disappointing, it was very thin, less than an inch thick and not one drop of seasoning, no salt, no pepper....NOTHING! ordered medium rare...it was cooked to death, shoe leather. Just expected a great steak! After all, they are a steakhouse. Service was perfect and loved the decor and atmosphere. Two sides, asparagus and spinach. 3 tiny, slimy pieces, over cooked, UGH! spinach was raw saturated in oil....So weird!

Went here for my first time yesterday. Not sure what took me so long to get there. For an appetizer we had the margarita personal pizza. It was really crispy with fresh tomatoes and basil. However the sauce tasted store bought. For dinner I got the bone-in cowboy ribeye medium with romanoff potatoes and The ceasar salad. The salad was surprisingly very large for one that comes with a meal. I ate most of it but made sure to save room for the steak and potatoes which were amazing. I didnt want to use A1 because it just seemed disrespectful to the meat. After the meal we split the cheesecake which was good but I was almost too full to Eat it but did taste it. The atmosphere was nice and the bar looked like a great place to get a drink. I will definitely be returning for another dinner here

FYI-We called ahead for same day seating, they do not take reservations further in advance than same day. OK, review time... What a lovely ambiance, totally unexpected from Marlborough, MA. Our 2 servers were incredible friendly and attentive on a busy Friday night leaving us not wanting or waiting for anything really, in between courses. We both had steaks of some sort, both cooked perfectly. Mine had some sort of blue cheese bacon goodness on top, manfriends was "regular" but still delicious. We would definitely go back again!

This place is awesome! I was in the area with my friend at a salon getting my nails done and was starving! A customer who was getting her nails done too recommended us to try Wildwood if we wanted a nice steak dinner. The service was excellent and the food was yummy. The restaurant decor was very dim and cozy which I loved! My only complaint (again) was the price. Around $80 plus tip for just 2 people. I'm a college student so $80 to me is huge! But the dinner was great! I'll save this place for special events like a birthday or something.

Wildwood Steakhouse is the long lusted, but ever elusive, stand-by. This is not to be mistaken for my stand-by. The Wildwood is that place where your grandparents eat, and have always eaten since before you were born. Only now, they look the part of cadavers, wasting away on the leather booths. It's dark, dim lit, if you will. There is, however, a striking mural of a nude woman beset by a city and ocean. She looms over the bar as if she were Big Brother. The steak is underwhelming, simply. There is little else to write about, little else needs to be written for a steakhouse. The 2-3 server rotation per table is impersonal and a blatant sign of over-staffing. The upscale interior is pseudo-classic with contemporary feasts. A large bar, complete with attentive and happy barkeeps, can serve any wine booting kick you could be on. If you are looking for a steakhouse, roadside Route 20 is sure to do no less than disappoint. The crowd it aims to please is not one in this area, and the quality of food will likely draw few in itself.

I was pleasantly surprised by Wildwood. The prices are very reasonable, yet the atmosphere was upscale and the service good as well. The bar area was really nice. I'd definitely like to go back there just for a drink or to sit at one of the high tables for appetizers or even dinner. The menu was diverse with steak, seafood, pasta, grilled pizzas and even a few burgers. I always like the option of a pizza or a sandwich if I'm not in the mood for a big dinner. For the upscale bar area and dining room, I was really expecting to pay more, but was very happy to see more moderate pricing. I guess that is why this place is always packed! They don't take reservations, but do at least offer call ahead seating. Expect to wait on a weekend night.

NOTE: THIS REVIEW IS FOR ONE ITEM AT WILDWOOD... i'm writing this review soley for the DIRTY MARTINI'S. they are the BEST i've ever had. i can't understand how they are this good esp when i always get the same ingredients in my drink, it must the be quality of the olive juice? i always get a extra dirty martini's with CHOPIN vodka and blue cheese stuffed olives. wildwood has the best (freshest) blue cheese stuffed olives around, they stuff them when you order them and the martini was chilled perfectly w.some ice crystals and it was the smoothest and refreshing dirty martini i've ever had. it was soo good that i was craving it the whole trip. i was visiting my gf for her wedding and we ate here on my first night in town. during the next day (the day of the rehearsal), another friend and i were waiting for the wedding party to get ready, but everyone was taking so long so we decided to take the bride (to be)'s car and head to wildwood for some drinks before the rehearsal. i sucked down two dirty martinis in a matter of 15 minutes. it was amazing, needless to say we were very happy at the rehearsal :) i wish i had more chances to go and get drinks before i had to go back home, but only had the chance to go 2 times. i guess i'll have to go visit my gf more often! note: we did try the rib eye at wildwood's on the first night. i've def had better, but when you've been drinking martini's all night it was still satisfying. sober, i would give the ribeye a 2 out of 5 stars. dirty martini's = 5 stars food = 2 stars, potential 3 for other dishes we didn't try.

Went here on a whim for dinner. Little pricey but I can see why. Had the triangular cut chicken crispadilla for an app and it was Devine. For dinner I enjoyed the large cut prime rib(end cut) and was most pleased. Actually I took some home to enjoy once again. The lady had blue cheeses covered fillet and loved it. For starch I had the house fries(little plain but weren't oversold by the waitress) she had the herb infused macaroni and cheese. Beverage of choice that night was exquisite. I washed down my food with a bottle of "Kung fu" Riesling and she raved about the apple martinis(ordering 3). All in all we had an excellent time and didn't feel rushed which is my biggest pet peeve. Chefs with experience, wait staff who respect privacy, and management who know how to create a comfortable and elegant setting. WILL BE RETURNING OFTEN!

Yes, this is not A&L, Morton's, nor even Coach grill. But for a quick steak fix when you don't feel like aging and cooking your own steak, and within a few min from home, this is works just fine. The littlenecks (Looked more cherrystone) was fresh and yummy, the oysters were fresh, but just a tad sandy. My younger one's salmon was actually cooked very well, still moist and not dried out. The Mac and cheese was ok. My wife's cowboy bone in ribeye was juicy and medium rare just as she ordered (almost perfect if not for some overcharing around the edges) My lobster risotto is a mush of some sort, but flavor was fine and the lobster was very sweet and tender. Almost like butter poached. Skip the chowder and the creme brulee. The service was friendly enough. I have no problem returning, would just stick with the steaks next time.

Really good dinner. I haven't been there in about 10 years. My husband had the prime rib which he said was delicious. I had haddock with Cajun seasonings which was delicious - especially for a steakhouse. The sides (fingerling potatoes and spinach were ok, the potatoes were a little tasteless). The prices were also a little more reasonable than last time I was there, although salads do not come with entrees so that put the price up a bit. I would definitely return.

Roach alert! My wife and I were dining in April. We ordered some appetizers and streaks. Right after the salad and while we were eating our appetizers, there was some movement on the wall right next to the booth. Yes, it was a roach crawling up the wall. My wife and I froze, trying to figure out what to do. A couple of minutes later, there was some commotion near the waiters' station. They were pointing to our booth--I guess they were trying to figure out what to do, so they don't make a big scene. One brave busboy cam over with a napkin, then swoosh--he grabbed the nasty roach from the wall and walked away. The manager on duty stopped by--and get this--asked if we wanted to finish our food before we departed. Of course they didn't charge us for the food and drinks, but we just practically ran away. We couldn't get out fast enough! Disgusting!

I've only had take out from here, (used a gift cert) so I cannot comment on service... but the folks that gave us the take out were friendly and nothing was missing from our order. The food was very good (we just has apps) and the chocolate cake was incredible. We ate that slice of clake for three days it was so big.

My fiance and I had our Valentines dinner at Wildwood, and for the prices, I would definitely suggest giving them a try. We had an appetizer of a half dozen oysters, (which were sweet and fresh tasting), 2 glasses of wine/2 beers, and 2 full entrees. Our bill was very reasonable, especially considering my entree was half lobster, half veal and was excellent. My fiance had the filet with blue cheese, which he said was very tender and nicely seasoned. The only thing I noticed that could use some improvement was that both my water and wine glass was spotty. Not dirty, but def in need of polishing.

The menu is much better than when it first reopened a few years ago. I went there three times in the past month sitting at the bar to give it another whirl. I gave it another whirl because I heard they're much better now than a couple yrs ago. I'd say the service and food is inconsistent. First time there I had a filet that was perfectly cooked to my liking and tasted the rub. I must say tho, the beef doesn't taste all that great after it cooled down. The service was superb even tho it was closing early due to the snow storm. The baked potato was perfect - not too dry, nice texture and flavor. The salad was crisp. Second time there the filet was somewhat flavorless. The shellfish platter was good. Everything on it tasted fresh and cold. I had better cocktail sauce. The service was decent. Third time there I felt rushed. They brought out the next course before I was even finished with what I was eating. The littlenecks were great - It was large and fresh. The baked potato was good again. The filet, however, had a charred taste to it and nothing more. I was annoyed this time by the bartender because I said blue and he kept repeating rare. Don't put blue one the menu if you just gonna say rare. On top of that, the cesear salad was almost dressing less. I had to request for a side of dressing. I would probably go there once in a while, but not regularly.

Had dinner on a Sunday evening with another couple. Excellent friendly knowledgeable staff. Seated us right away. Ordered NY Strip, Romanoff potatoes, sauteed mushrooms and a lobster tail. Everything was cooked perfect. Portions were HUGE. The only disappointment was the Lobster tail was served looking like a rolled up Armadillo. Bit of a challenge "shelling" it.

Not sure why we never really made this a regular place. All I can say is the Wildwood sirloin is consistently excellent, and very reasonably priced. It made a convert out of our 17 year old son, who proclaimed we would have to take him there more often.

Bleu cheese filet is wonderful. 95% of my meals here have been outstanding. Did not have good luck with the house sirloin (tough and overcooked). However, they make a great dirty martini which will make me overlook a multitude of sins.

Took my Mother here for dinner to celebrate her 82 brithday last night ( as Sudbury where she lives doesn't have many choices outside of the Wayside Inn ). We had a server named Fabio (?) who was amazing / 5 Star ! The food was great and Fabio was wonderful helping my Mother celebrate her 82nd ! She had the chicken dish which she said was very good, a friend had the seafood platter which he said was great and I had the filet which was also great ! Great steakhouse, great service and always looks like a bargain as compared to the restaurants in Boston.

I went to the Wildwood for the first time and it was excellent. We started with the clams casino, which were delicious!! I had a salad with one of the two house dressings, teriyaki vinaigrette. Now I must say that I had my reservations about this type of dressing, but it was so damn tasty, I could have drank it! Then came the steak; it was juicy, cooked perfectly, and came with a choice of potato. I had the romanoff, which are kind of like a twice baked. It is potato chunks, with lots of cheesy goodness baked over them. The atmosphere and food are excellent. The negatives are that they don't accept reservations, which I really can't understand. They do allow you to call that day and let them know what time you will be there, which is sort of like a reservation, I guess. The other negative is the size of the vegetable sides; they are quite small. However, they are not expensive, so that makes up for it. Overall, prices are good, food is excellent, and service is good! I will definitely be back!

Must call out this restaurant. Our family has been going here for 20+ years. We're foodies, cooks and critical if it's not consistently good. Wildwood gets 5 stars on consistency, quality and value. Most everything we've ever ordered we've been very pleased with. And what prompted me to finally write a review after 20 years? We have a party of 13 going to celebrate a birthday tonight. I forgot to order a cake for the table when I reserved. I just called the restaurant, she hunted down their baker and he said he'd make us one. Our reservation is in an hour. Thank you Wildwood for always being there.

We've been going to the Wildwood for years. It was always our "go-to" place when we wanted a nice meal. Haven't been there in about a year because we have a little one now. Boy, were we disappointed. Standards have slipped and so has the food. First, the waitstaff seemed annoyed that we were there. Sorry to bother you. We ordered the calamari app. I was surprised immediately that they served this to us. Red Flags immediately started to pop up. Visually, the plate was a mess. It was covered in fried greasy onions, not onion rings or strings, fried onions like you'd find in a sausage sub on Yawkee way. huh? It tasted exactly how it looked. Bad. Calamari was way over cooked and it was dripping in grease from the fried onions. Yuk! I also got a bowl of chowder, it was tasteless and underwhelming. Next came our dinners. My sirloin steak sandwich was plated similarly to the app, a mess on a plate. I understand they were going for some kind of artistic expression with the oddly shaped bread, but then where do you put the steak, well, just dump it on top with onions, peppers, lettuce and a pile of fries. How do I eat this? Why put onions peppers and lettuce on a sandwich you can't eat like a sandwich? My wife got the crab meat stuffed sole. It was equally gross. A piece of overcooked fish with a soggy mess on top with frozen vegetables on the side. I had to express my disappointment to the manager when she came by, and she did her best to make it up to me. She provided a substitute sirloin steak, which was much better than my original dinner. I felt bad for her, she was doing her best to make it up to us. I typically don't voice my frustration, but could only think if this was my restaurant, I would want to know my diners are unhappy. I think what got my goat as well, was that their prices have gone through the roof. They are now charging Morton's prices for their steaks, but this isn't Morton's. I've entertained clients in the best restaurants around the country, and have paid prices like this at top steakhouses, the Wildwood isn't in that caliber, but is charging prices like they are. I'm sorry, but top steakhouses do not have A-1 sauce on every table. If you're going to pay $30 for a steak, it had better not need A-1 sauce. 2 stars because the manager did her best to make it right, but 1 star experience...

I have been to Wildwood twice and was very impressed both times. I ordered filet mignon and it was cooked perfect. Both times that I have gone have been on the weekend and was impressed with the waitstaff at how efficient they still were with a full dining room. And the homemade Parker House Rolls, are so delicious. Tried the bacon wrapped scallops the last time and they were the best that I have ever had. I would recommend WIldwood to anyone and everyone.

I guess my experience with Wildwood is similar to others. I live in Marlborough and I was so happy when Wildwood shut down a few years ago to re-hab their facility. I thought we'd get a new steak house in Marlborough that could rival coach grill (a family favorite here). Well, we were totally disappointed then and we continue to be. Most recently I have had take out twice from the restaurant (cause I don't get out as much) the salad (steak cobb salad) the steak was cold (like it had been refrigerated -- not just waiting for pick up) I had three slices of avocado on the salad that were inedible -- not ripe. now, I'm no chef, but I fancy myself a good cook, and I know the difference between a ripe avocado and a non-ripe one. funny that their chef's do not. my husband had the spinach salad and that was lack luster as well. Our second try we had meals -- I had the Ranch Sirloin Tips and my husband had the filet sliders. The menu said tips and mashed potatoes (one of the reasons I ordered it) and I actually got a baked potato with it, what a bummer. The spinach side was all over the inside and the meal was quite unappetizing. My husband was equally lackluster about the sliders. I think that the owner invested in a beautiful facade but did not change a thing about the quality of the meat he serves and the skill of the kitchen staff. It's a complete turn off and I will likely not eat here again.

Our call to make a reservation wasn't the most pleasant; we asked for a window seat and were mocked for not knowing they didn't have any. Having never been there before, we couldn't provide an answer when asked " if you had a window seat in our restaurant where would you sit?". The person answering the phone at noon on a Saturday must have been a trainee - he had the manners of a 12-yr old - as the rest of the staff was very pleasant during our dinner later that evening. We were seated promptly when arriving early for our reservation and interestingly, walked past the window seats to our booth. The calamari appetizer was fresh and plentiful, but the anchovies I opted for really overpowered the caeser salad. Didn't want to flame out my taste buds on the salad, so two bites was enough. On to dinner! Steaks were top-shelf and cooked perfectly, my medium-rare fillet had the consistency of cheesecake. Delicious! Both the lobster tail and scallops were overcooked, though. The lobster practically crumbled when opened and totalled all of three bites (probably for the best). Scallops were average at best and the burnt bread crumbs didn't help. We really enjoy our seafood and were a bit disappointed with our surf selections, but the turf was fantastic. Save some room for the Mile High chocolate cake at dessert, too. The presentation alone is enough of a reason to get it!

My husband & I went last weekend for a late dinner. Service & food both excellent. I had the Salmon w/ Asparagus & he had the Sirloin w/ the best loaded baked potato I've ever had. AMAZING!!! The prices are very reasonable too. We split a salad, each had an entree, two drinks each & spent under $100. We will definitely be back!

Sure, the atmosphere is nice, but atmosphere can't carry a restaurant when the food isn't great. And, the food here is hyped to be really really good. We started out with the chilled seafood platter. The shrimp was good, but how can you really mess up cocktail shrimp? According to my companions the oysters and clams were below average. I got the basic filet with steamed asparagus and red wine sauce. Both of those sides were a la carte - which is fine if they actually tasted good. My biggest complaint, though, is that I ordered my filet cooked medium. When I cut into it, it was purple in the middle. When I pay $30 for a steak I expect that it be cooked how ordered.

I love, love, love Wildwood Steakhouse! This has been my restaurant of choice for my birthday for the past several years, and I just celebrated again there last night! They have a special dish that has my name written all over it- Honey Mustard Chicken. I CRAVE this dish- one of the best meals I've ever had. My boyfriend and I both got that. The steaks seem to be solid- this is what my dad got. My mother got the ranch sirloin tips and thought those were delicious! A HUGE plus is that if it is your birthday, you get a quarter piece of a huge 7 layer chocolate cake!! AND IT'S FREE!!! Four people couldn't finish it and I'm having a left over piece right now... delicious! Prices are EXTREMELY reasonable... highly recommended for any occasion!

We went back to Wildwood the other night in spite of the long drive because it's wonderful! I had the Chicken Galina (which is redundant and delicious!) It seems to be a habit with me. Awesome! My friend also had the C.G. & her hubby had steak which was quite plentiful. My Hubby had baked haddock which he thoroughly enjoyed. We got appetizers of Fried Calamari and Artichoke dip. Yes, lots of food but oh, so good! We really enjoyed it! Contessa

We're big fans of Wildwood. We moved out to the area about 6 months ago, and our realtor recommended the restaurant. We figured we'd give it a shot, as our initial restaurant experience in "the burbs" was chain, chain, chain, and another chain. The minute we walked into Wildwood, we could tell it was different than the other places out here. The decor is great, the bar is tremendous, and the overall atmosphere was very city-like, a feeling we'd been missing since the move. While the wait was long, almost 90 minutes, we were fine at the bar, people-watching, taking it all in. The bartenders were obviously very busy, and drinks took quite a while. Once seated at our table, service vastly improved. The food was terrific, their bread is wonderful, portions on the bigger side, and drink menu long. The only blip in that meal was dessert: they ran out of the item I wanted ONE order before ours. I was disappointed, but settled for something deliciously chocolate, and all was well. I was able to order this phantom dessert on a second visit, and it was amazing. Profiteroles with praline ice cream, hot fudge & whipped cream. SO good. And now that it's on their main menu, I'll be able to have it anytime we visit. We love going to Wildwood, and are thrilled to have found this place out here where every chain ever exists in a 3 mile stretch of road. We'll be back many times.

Everyone talks about how great Wildwood is. Well it really isn't all that!! Coconut shrimp was awesome, salad was mediocre, steak..well I have had much better at Ken's Steakhouse and didn't have to spend so much. I asked for baked stuffed shrimp on the side and instead I got shrimp scampi. They would fix it because the kitchen was closed. It was only 10:15pm. If I only had one server instead of 3 then I am sure there wouldn't have been so much confusion on who took the drink order already. Drive the extra 15 minutes to Framiningham!!!

The Wildwood is one of the regular places my husband and I go when we dine out in Marlborough. I have not had a single bad meal at the Wildwood and there are some dishes I really love. Their seafood dishes are always excellent, and my husband really enjoys anything with duck, which is actually on the specials menu farely often. For appetizers, I would recommend either one of the calamari dishes or the spinach and artichoke dip. Many of the salads are good, particularly the trio salad with three different kinds of lettuce and dressings. Again, I usually order something with seafood, like the haddock, the crab-stuffed flounder, or the tilapia (I actually enjoy tilapia). However, if there is a good special that night, I usually will have that as my entree, such as monkfish or king crab legs. The steaks are very good here, but again, I just don't order beef very often. I have to agree with Dawn E. here-- the chocolate cake was fabulous and gigantic and only $5.00! Not only do we frequently have dinner here, but we also had a small dinner after our wedding in the upstairs banquet room. I have to say that the food was not prepared as well as it would have been for an individual couple, but I think our group enjoyed it. Also, the prices were very reasonable at only $17.00 a head for salad, a choice of one of three entrees, a potato, and veggies. Just an extra-the decor is really cool, dark, and masculine downstairs, but the upstairs loft could use a little interior decorating. Also, the waitstaff is usually efficient and friendly.

This restaurant is just average. Not bad just not great. It's too bad as it has the makings of a really good place but they miss the mark. The main issue is the food. It is just OK. I have been here several times and it is normally the same, just OK. For the prices it should be better. I had the Ribeye, normally the ribeye is a very flavorful steak. This was just OK, it could have been seasoned more and was underdone, nothing special. The vegetables were overdone and limp. Other members of my party said similar things about their dishes. One reocurring complaint among our party was how the steaks were done. If your going to have a steak house you need to know how to cook a steak. On a good note, the atmosphere was nice, looks like it should be a first class place. The service was great, the salads were fresh and good as well. It's too bad, there isn't anything like this place in the area so with some better food it could be great.

The restaurant looks like a steakhouse in metro-Boston area rather than Marlborough. It was busting on Saturday night, and we had 8:30 reservations. The steak, seafood dishes and the side dishes are pretty good, but not my favorite place for steak and seafood. The dessert I have to say for $5 is enormous, and you could go on a diabetic shock with all that cake. We ordered 2 desserts between the 4 of us and we didn't even finish one. I would come here again if i'm in the area.

I've heard people talk about the Wildwood being tops for many years, before being born probably, so I tried it out with some friends a month or two ago. Needless to say I was not impressed. I have yet to check into a Ruth's Chris, Abe & Louie's or Grill 23 in Boston but have been to some well known and loved steakhouses in the Philadelphia and Cincinnati areas and the Wildwood can't compare. I'd recommend another well known Chop house in Worcester over this place any day.

Wildwood is a staple in our dining out rotation and is one of our very favorite places to go, in large part because of the atmosphere and the staff, which deserve 5 stars. The hostess and waitstaff are always gracious and professional (something that seems to be increasingly rare these days), and even when it is very busy, service is attentive without being overbearing. Drinks are very good, generous and strong, but expensive. Their salads are always fresh, with a variety of vegetables. We generally order the 12 oz Ribeye with fries to share and are usually very happy with the perfectly cooked, flavorful meat and crisp fries. We have had a few dinners that were not so good; a few times we have gotten a cut that is fatty or gristly, though the meat is still good. We have yet to complain about this, but now that it has happened twice we will probably say something the next time. Once we ordered a larger, thicker cut of meat and it was very charred on the surface. Again, the meat was good, but the taste of char was pretty unpleasant and overpowered any other flavor. Once we ordered bacon wrapped scallops, which were awful, fishy and greasy. We did actually send those back, but they took them off the bill and were very gracious about it. The food is usually outstanding and we love this place enough to go back often, in spite of the few blips in quality that we have had over the last two years. I think what we love the most here is the service. Sometimes we will go on the spur of the moment, wearing casual clothes, and we are greeted with as much warmth and graciousness as if we were dressed to the nines. For a place that actually has something to be snooty about, you will never feel it at Wildwood.

This place has big like-a-bility, but the signature blackjack steak fell short of the mark. Tough, chewy and hard to swallow it sank any ship of hope I had for giving out a stellar review this time. The draft Sam Adams Lager was relatively good, 3.5 stars, but couldn't carry the meal. There was a slight sour after-taste, which isn't present in the bottled variety. Fresh Draft beer should be a '5', fresh bottled beer would normally rate a '4' rating with me. Most bars get a '2' for draft, when they don't clean their tap lines. The garlic mashed potatoes seemed like they were made from flakes, and not all the flakes got mixed into the mix! But, they could have been small chunks of potato. The crowd was up-scale and a pleasure to share company with. Trying to be 5-stars, and that's great, but the 3 star steak and potatoes won this battle. The huge salad was tremendous, 5 exploding super-novas, with no iceberg lettuce! I would go there for beer and salad only, or if feeling lucky, try a different main course.

I was so surprised when I walked into the "Wildwood". It reminded me a lot of the Chophouse in Worcester. I have to say the atmosphere is pretty hip and cool and usually that is very important to me. I also loved the layout and seating arrangments. The food was good, I had Salmon which was really nice. My friend had a pomegranite cosmo which she said was delicious. So in terms of being fun, atmosphere being good and food being above average, a great place to go in the west of Boston area...very unexpected in Marlborough!!! Looking forward to going back to hang with friends!!! If I want fun expensive top notch dining I will continue to go to the four and five stars with renowned chefs, which I love, But for more a more fun and social night out this place was a bit more low key, fun, food was good and a little easier on the pocketbook. You get what you pay for and even though I LOVE fine dining I don't always want to chalk up $200 for a meal for two..so nice to know of alternatives!!! Will be back soon!!!!

Great oysters and a lively bar. Onion soup good, but not great. Great shrimp cocktail. Variety of steak offerings somewhat disappointing. Teriyaki steak very good as were the Romanov potatoes. No room for desert. Service friendly and professional. Will return.

Excellent food and service. We ordered oysters for the appetizer and they were fresh and tasty. I ordered shrimp scampi and it was just delicious. My friend ordered the prime rib and he loved it. Also the entrées come with a reasonably large salad which was nice. I think it was great luck that we found this place in Marlboro!

My husband and I came here after reading the reviews on yelp. It did not disappoint. This was an awesome restaurant my waitress was incredible although I can't remember her name now I feel bad. The food was amazing. I had the prime rib it was cooked perfectly. My husband had the ribeye steak. It came out cooked exactly how he asked for it. Medium-rare. We had never been here before so the waitress went above and beyond for us. The portions were huge and she even gave us a huge piece of cake just for coming in for the first time and wrapped it up for us because we were too full to eat it. I would come back here in a heartbeat.

Decent beer selection. The wildwood trio appetizer was on point, spinach dip and cheese steak eggs rolls were great. Recommend getting sides of mashed potatoes and asparagus. Did not like the dim lighting in the restaurant.

What an awesome place, the hostess was very nice and made sure to go the extra mile to make my group feel comfortable. Most of all, the steak I ordered was extremely tasty. Simple but delicious. There is no greater place for me to eat, from now on I will return here each time I am in the area. I got the cowboy steak plate. Such a delicious cut of ribeye! Keep up the excellent work!

After a 5 year hiatus, moved back to the Marlborough area and made this one of my first two stops for dinner. In 5 months I have now been back 4 times and have ordered food from take out 3 more. The food is fantastic, the restaurant itself always seems to be at the perfect balance of busy but not loud and the service has always been friendly, attentive and very efficient. This is one of those places that you hope doesn't mess with what is working and is around for along time!!

Food was amazing! I had the filet mignon and my husband had the ny strip steak. We were both really happy!

I do not recommend this establishment for anything except a terrible experience.

recently attended a business dinner here, that was wonderful and practically flawless. upon entrance, we were greeted warmly, and shown our way to our table. we were about twenty or so, and seated at a long table in a semi-private area. we ordered drinks off of the regular menu, and dinner from a limited menu. service was polite and attentive, without being nosy or pushy. drinks arrived fairly quickly after being ordered. the food: there was a large spinach dip with pita chips upon entrance, placed on a table in a serve-yourself scenario. pita chips were the perfect balance of crisp and chewy, and spin dip was YUM. cheesy, but also a good amount of vegetables (i'm certain there were chunks of celery in addition to the artichokes); it was great. we also had coconut shrimp served with some kind of honey mustard-ish sauce. shrimp were large, crisp on the outside, tender on the insider, and succulent. absolutely delicious with the sauce. rolls were warm, and delivered with family style mounds (think ice cream scoop) of butter. i had a caesar salad that was garnished with some garlicky croutons (excellent) and what appeared to be powdered parmesan cheese. that was a little disappointing. caesar salads really do need the bite of actual shards or shreddings of cheese. additionally, the dressing was thin. to me, caesar dressing should be a creamy, thick coating; this was not. part of that (and i know this from working in restaurants) is that a well-dressed salad doesn't require a lot of dressing; it simply requires a thorough tossing/coating. i get it- and every piece of lettuce had dressing on it. it just didn't live up to my expectations.

A solid 7.

This place is amazing. The service was wonderful, the food was spectacular and my wine was to die for. I went here with a friend but I can't wait to return here with my husband for a date night. It was such a nice place!

Went here for their Wednesday Steaktip special. Hands down the absolute best deal in town. Nothing even comes close to this deal! Outside of that, this place looks incredible inside and the staff is very friendly.

  • Courtney D.

Great atmosphere. Friendly bar staff. Love the Shrimp Cocktail. Surprisingly good and fresh seafood selections even though they are a Steakhouse.

Bleu cheese filet is wonderful. 95% of my meals here have been outstanding. Did not have good luck with the house sirloin (tough and overcooked). However, they make a great dirty martini which will make me overlook a multitude of sins.

I love this place. The food is not anything out of this world, but it is satisfactory. I do enjoy the atmosphere and love taking my friends there. It can be a bit pricey

I have never had a bad meal here. The raw bar is great. The bar itself is hopping and the waitstaff are very attentive. Unlike some of the posters here, my steaks have been delicious and cooked properly.
