Menchie's is your typical yogurt spot, just like the other ones that have been popping up all over. I used to enjoy going here but after finally meeting the owner on my recent visit, I won't be back. When I went I was told that they were running their lunch special, which was 30% off of your cup. So, great, I'll fill up my cup more than I usually do because 30% off is an awesome deal. I get to the register and ask her to check my rewards to see if I have menchie's money. So she does and tells me what I have and then applies it to my total before telling me how much it all came too and suddenly goes "Ooops" and explains to me that she didn't put the 30% through. So I haven't paid yet so I ask her, how much with the 30% is my total and she launches into this convoluted explanation of why she can't apply the 30% coupon and tells me she can't void the transaction because she has already deducted my menchie's money and apparently she can't go back in her register or doesn't know how. So she tries to tell me that she can give me a $1 off coupon when I pay, however I explained to her that the 30% was $2.70 off my cup. But she was adamant that $1 is a better deal off my next cup than 30%. I tried to explain to her the several reasons why that wasn't and that I wouldn't have even got as much as I did if she didn't misrepresent her special. Because she wasn't making any sense, was becoming increasingly pushy, and I was running out of time on my break... I paid and she gave me my coupon. Well, the coupon she gave me expired 8/31/2014 and we are now in October so I can only imagine what a nightmare that will to redeem if I ever decide to return. Granted it's not a lot of money but it's more the principle of it and lack of customer service. To top if off, the manager had the nerve to try to talk negatively about me to my coworkers. (I work in the plaza and some of us used to frequent the place.) There's plenty of yogurt shops around and in Mansfield Crossing, after the bad taste this one has left in my mouth.. I'll be going back to Orangeleaf across the street. Edit: Since posting my review last night this store manager has come to my place of employment today twice and yelled at me while I was working. She told me I need to remove my review, that she has "millions of dollars and doesn't need [my] pennies," and amoung other rediculiousness including threatening to talk with my managers about my review, which has nothing to do with my employment. Needless to say, I will be following up my review edit with a call to the franchise corporate office.

My nieces and I are on a mission to find the best fro-yo in the area and this place has captured that title!!! Customer service is exemplary! Here are the pluses - no extra charge for a waffle bowl (plain or chocolate dipped) -- yes, it gets included in the weight, but other places will charge you extra ON TOP of the weight; you may try as many samples as you want with NO pressure - the sample cups are on a tray on the counter --- no one looking over your shoulder, monitoring you; wide variety of flavors and even MORE mix-ins -- my niece commented on how easy it was to reach the mix-ins -- two tiers of about 20 choices (actual whole Heath bars and brownies) -- THEN you have your fresh fruit choices and THEN you have your sauces --- in a BIG dispenser that you have to pump to get it -- the hot fudge is "fudging" DELICIOUS!!!; clean, clean, clean -- even the bathrooms; nice music being piped in; outdoor seating, if you wish; loyalty card seems to get you to rewards rather quickly. Yeah, i was a bit hesitant to give my review 'cuz I imagine the lines will be out the door after reading it, but I promised to share the wealth. ENJOY! And there is another one in Warwick, RI.

Excellent customer service. Met the manager. Super nice. I've been here twice in one week so the flavors haven't changed, but I hope they do eventually. I keep choosing the chocolates flavors but would like to try the fruity flavors as well. The toppings are really good and they have about five or six different liquid toppings. I love that you can get a waffle bowl free of charge. They don't always have the chocolate dipped one though :(

When I am in the area and have a craving for froyo I go here. Really enjoyed the coffee also well as the Nutella froyo. Got cookie dough pieces and Reese's peanut butter sauce on top. This place is cheaper than the froyo in Franklin at Froyo World. Really enjoy the froyo here.

A fun and yummy place to go with the kids for a nice treat. They have good flavors (cake batter is amazing!!!) and so many toppings it's crazy, but crazy in a good way! :) Everything was fresh, and clean. I like how you can get a waffle bowl at no extra charge too. Staff very friendly, greeted everyone and showed us how it all worked since I never been there before. Things to improve: This location does need more seating though, it was getting a bit crowded and some people had to sit outside, but come winter, that won't be an option. AND I would like to see smaller cups come available. They only had 2 sizes and they were still bigger than I'd like to give to my children. Great place, will be back for another visit soon!

Menchie's has some of the most delicious Frozen Yogurt throughout the area. The prices aren't too bad, yet some other spots are a bit lower, but the yogurt tastes amazing! They also have indoor and outdoor seating, as well as there own (that cannot be found elsewhere) flavors of FroYo! Definitely one of the better places to go throughout the entire Mansfield Crossing complex. And so much better than the Orange Leaf in the "Mansfield Pavillion". Highly suggested.

I visited the Mansfield location of this Munchies restaurant last night with my wife and body armor covered children and was frankly disappointed. Not only was I not able to order the iconic steak and cheese flavor I usually order at the Houston branch, I was greeted with free "samples" that my heavily protected son did not appreciate. Their quite hefty pricing of the yogurt was not in tune with their various branches which surprised me due to their commitment to the NPCFYEA's official guideline which states that all eateries must comply with one price range for customers of all colors and ethnicities regardless of how much yogurt they consume. Along with the bombardment of sugary flavors, Munchies does not communicate to its employees that just because my son's bulletproof vest may weigh him down, calling child protection services is in violation of my wife's parole so thank you for 45 minute phone call to her parole officer trying to explain our fears for our heavy son. Also, the North Pacific Creamery/Frozen Yogurt Eateries of America would have a hay day if they saw the lack of nutritional toppings such as vegetables and other narcotics. All in all, this location's lack of leadership and proper flight safety procedures leave me no choice but to keep my family safe from the evils of yogurt and distress.

I got there an hour before they closed and the already put half of the toppings away (all of the refrigerated ones- no cheesecake pieces!) and they only had about half of the flavors working. The places is spotless, extremely sanitary and clean, but it felt like the owner was breathing down my neck when I was making my fro yo treat. I've definitely experienced better- and less awkward- as well as better choices.

Loved Menchies! I just wish there were one closer to me in RI! Fro yo places are popping up all over the place but Menchies really stands out. The waffle bowl addition really puts them over the top. Lots of great flavors and toppings! Stickers and tattoos and coloring pages for the kids also. Very friendly staff and awesome music playing while we were there.
