Pizza
Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
Italian Cuisine
The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.
Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.
If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

Exactly what you want from a neighborhood pizza delivery place. Very good hot pizza with prompt & friendly delivery. Great values on the pizzas and the pasta dinners. I need to try the soups based on some other reviews.

Always great pizza really quickly. It tastes the same to me as the original and its in a much more convenient and closer location. Just don't go for the pasta dinners the pasta is overcooked. Prices are reasonable and sizes are generous compared to most pizza places. There aren't that many good pizza places around and this is one of them. It's 2 Go only like it says in the name as the storefront is tiny and there is no seating so get it to go.

Holy crap - these pizzas are huge. I ordered a medium and it was the size of a party pizza at most restaurants (the huge rectangular box). I really liked this pizza. The crust was thin, but not soggy with grease. The mozzarella was delicious and the toppings were tasty. I'd absolutely order pizza from this place again. If you've never ordered from here, it's a little take out only place. No tables - just take it to go. Awesome pizza though :)

Boy oh boy do I like this Italian take out place. First off, the the lady who makes the soups and sauces worked in one of Springfield's venerable downtown Italian restaurants for 40 years until it closed about 2 years ago. Her Pasta e Fagioli and Italian vegetable soups are second to none in our area. The spaghetti sauce rivals and comes, oh so, close to my favorite sit down Italian Restaurant on Boston Rd. Last night I ordered chicken wings and Chicken Bianco with spaghetti. The wings were a first try here and I wasn't disappointed. They were slightly spicy and I like the fact that there were more chicken drumlets than wings, these are some very respectable wings, fried perfectly and priced right where they should be. The Chicken Bianco, chicken breast lightly floured, was sauteed with mushrooms, ham and served in a rich lemon butter white wine sauce and was excellent. The chicken was moist and tender, the sauce wonderfully balanced in flavor, this dish was really very nicely prepared. The spaghetti was served with a simple marinara sauce but it was anything but simple in flavor, make no mistake about it, they make a very very good spaghetti sauce at Primo's. The pasta did not suffer on the way home as it was a perfect al dente, just the way I like it. I have picked up food here more than a dozen times and I have always been satisfied with their quality and consistency. Oh, the other bonus here is these are some really nice hard working folks who care about their customers which is reflected by their standard of service and everything that comes out of their kitchen.

Primo's continues to serve quality food! Love the pizza. For the first time I tried the Chicken parm dinner to go and have come back for it again and again! The quality and quantity of this meal at this price is a big Winner. Love supporting a locally owned business too!

All I can say is that after living in New Haven for 10 years and experiencing the best pizza in the country I'm extremely happy to have found Primos 2 go! Not only is it real Italian pizza, its sold at a great price. I will never buy a pizza from anyone else in the area ever again!

I love the pizza, with toppings only. The just cheese is a little boring and nothing special. It's the only place I know that delivers which is awesome and a timesaver. The employees are very nice and the food is always done/delivered when they say it will be.
