Chinese Cuisine
The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.
Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.
There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.

We have ordered food from here for many years. The food has always been consistent, and yummy! The family is incredibly nice and hard working and the young daughter who answers the phone speaks perfect english, making the order very easy and simple. She is a bright girl and a big help! We do not hesitate to recommend this place. I give it 4 stars as it is more of a take out restaurant though they do have a few tables you could sit and eat at. When I first moved to the Berkshires in the early 80's there was no Chinese restaurant close by. We are thrilled to have the Red Apple near us and we order at least once or twice a month and they even deliver to areas nearby. Thank you Red Apple!

Ok, if the obviously very young daughter answers the phone? Just ask for an adult. Yeah, that's not the typical way to run a business, but? She is a cute kid and the food is fine (it is EXACTLY what you'd expect: Chinese food from a non-gourmet Chinese restaurant: pretty darn good, not amazing). Anyway, cut everyone a break, ask for an adult, eat Chinese food. Everyone is happy.

One word: wow!!. I don't get how there are yelpers that gave this place more than 1 star. The general chicken I had wasn't even the right sauce. Furthermore the dish was overly sweet like candied yam. Yes, it is closer to candied yam. Every dish We ate was sweet. Even the fried dumpling was sweet with that soy sauce. I had low expectations coming here and it still didn't help. I kinda feel bad posting this review since they seem like good people with the family working together but really bad food has to be called out. I hope they would improve for the future.

Fresh ingredients, still greasy and fried but you don't order Chinese food to eat healthy. The owners are very nice and their service is great and timely. Not 5 stars only because of the condition of the dining area. Red Apple is my favorite Chinese food.

Food is generally hot (as in, warm!) and freshly cooked. Delivery can span from 15 mins - an hour but they're upfront about it and aren't miscalculating their time; points to Red Apple for actually delivering. This is definitely the Americanized, greasy version of Chinese food that stoners across America have come to love. I'm not sure if they're using MSG or not, but I have lately been getting sick after eating it, so I'm not sure what's up. I'll go here now and again, primarily because there are only so many options in Lee, but I usually regret eating it because how deep fried most of their menu options are. Just the same, if you're looking for reliable Chinese food, this place usually delivers.

Food is generally good. Standard Chinese food.

I called in for delivery 65 minutes ago. A child is taking orders on what sounds like a very busy Friday night. I just called back and asked the child about my order and her response was "My dad is very busy so maybe another twenty minutes?". I wanted to like this place but this is ridiculous.

We have been coming here for years, every summer and winter vacation. Best Chinese restaurant in the Berkshire area. Not gourmet but good enough for my Taiwanese parents and my family. Ask for the hot and sour soup without sugar. As they cater to locals, you have to ask them to cook the way asian people like it. It is a family owned business and now the daughter takes the orders and manages the bill. No atmosphere to speak of for dining in but Chinese food is really about the food not the ambiance. The standard fare, Pepper Steak, Shrimp with Lobster sauce, Chicken Lo Mein, etc are all very tasty.

Decent food from a family run business. Accommodated food allergy issues without trouble. While there are tables, this is primarily a take-out place. Reasonable prices and portions.
