Great little place. They have a good selection of meats, and everything we've tried has been excellent. The staff are friendly and helpful. I went in one day looking for steak tips because we had friends coming over but they'd run out. One of the butcher's was happy to go out back and cut some for me. That kind of service always scores big points with me. These guys are a great addition to our town.

Country Butcher and Deli just opened within the last 3 months or so, and I finally got around to stopping in and checking it out. We were greeted by what seemed to be the owners. They were quite friendly and waited patiently as we browsed the shop. They sell a nice variety of meats and a small selection of fish, both fresh and frozen. In addition, they sell Boar's Head deli meats, which I love. There is a small amount of basic groceries available, as well as drinks and sodas. They also have a small, basic menu of sandwiches (made with Boar's Head), as well as hamburgers, soups, and special sandwiches (today was meatloaf). The deli menu is basic right now, with items such as "Italian" and "Ham and Cheese" and "Roast Beef and Cheese", and you can basically put whatever you want on them. I'm hoping that as time goes on, they play up their menu with "specialty" sandwiches in addition to their current offerings. My roast beef sub was chocked full of meat, and they were generous with the accompaniments. Being Boar's Head, the meat was of course delicious. Prices were reasonable, with a large sub just over $7. I will probably begin shopping here for deli meats, as I much prefer Boar's Head over the grocery store brands. All in all, a nice little shop!

I used to be able to stop into this location at least weekly, but now that my sons are no longer nearby in school, I regret I don't get there more often. Quality product, friendly service. A local business where the benefits far outweigh going to the convenience of the chain supermarket.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Got some haddock there the the other day, and it was as fresh as it gets and delicious. Will definitley use this butcher shop again!!

I needed steaks for dinner, and didn't want the usual stuff from the grocery store. I searched for "Butcher" on my yelp app, and this place came up. I'd driven by it before, and always wondered about it. It recently got a facelift, as the front of the store looks new, but it's still very old-school inside. - It's a small butcher shop, with some deli meats and hot soups. Fridges with some cheeses and spreads, shelves with different spices and rubs, couple barrels of vegetables. Old farmhouse planks line the floor. The people working there look serious about their meat. - It's an old-style New England butcher shop. Parking lot is a dirt patch. You can even enter in through the back of the place. It's very small inside - but if you want some nice beef or chicken and are sick of the toxic crap from a grocery store, try this place. - I bought some rib eye steaks and potatoes. The steaks were pretty good. One of them had some gristle, which is unusual for a ribeye, but I won't let that detract from the charm of this place. I'll be going again to get meats and stuff. If you'd in the area - check it out!

After you go here you will never by you meats anywhere else. The steak is to die for. Also they have a great selection of subs and sandwiches. Don't forget to try their delicious soups and chowders as well. I have absolutely nothing bad to say about this place I have become a regular the place is clean and welcoming and the workers are extremely nice as well.

It seems like every time I go in there it's dead. Which is disappointing, because this Butcher shop is phenomenal. Whether you're looking for something to make for dinner or just looking for take out, they've got you covered. The tenderloin and cheese sub is amazing and makes every cheese steak in town obsolete. Do yourself a favor and support this local business.

No issues ordering and picking up a holiday roast. I was a bit underwhelmed by the quality of the meat I received, but would be interested in trying again, given the friendly staff. Parking spaces in front of the shop.

Country Butcher is 10 Stars. We're very fortunate to have it in town. Ken and the staff are extremely helpful. We've ordered prepared food for parties and they are great. The Subs are unbeatable. Their normal stock of food, meats, seafood, frozen food and precooked dishes are top notch. The best part is that if Ken doesn't have it he'll get it. I needed fresh Pork Belly once and he had it in a matter of a few days. We smoke full briskets and he always has those. Quality is excellent, he cuts to order. Country Butcher is a hidden gem I strongly recommend it.

This place is a butcher shop, with some produce, seafood, and very few groceries. The place is small, but clean and nice. The beef is really, really good. They make sandwiches that are pretty good, but nothing to write home about. The rolls are fresh, and the meat is pretty good. Standard turkey on a bun with lettuce an tomato kind of thing. Service is really friendly. Well mostly...the guy with the mustache is kinda cranky. He never smiles.

The owner is VERY friendly and helpful -- he sells the most amazing fresh shrimp and even gave me a quick lesson on how to cook them. The steaks can literally melt in your mouth they're so amazing. 5 stars doesn't say enough -- I'd give them 10!
