    Excellent pizza delivered.

Pizza was much better the third visit. Not as doughy and extra flavorful. Loved it!

One star out of 5. I used to go to Gianni's but got sick of the attitude I got from the fat, balding older brother. If you decide to go there, check the total carefully. You'll usually get charged more than the posted prices. That's illegal right? Now I go to Centre Pizza. Much friendlier service, better food and cheaper!

Every time we are in town this is our spot! great pizza, excellent crust, delicious sauce. Excellent customer service and friendly staff! I will be here every time while in town.

Worst dive I've been too. Tables are too close, dirty and old looking. Clutter everywhere. Decorated pizza boxes litter the store that are dusty. The tuna is very dry, bread is hard, meatballs are hard and inedible, the pasta sauce is watery. They don't wear gloves and take money then make your sandwiches. It's unsanitary. They have a kid sometimes running the register who's too young to work legally and is rude. Plenty of other places to go besides this place like CJ's across the street! Not to mention they are all rude every time I've gone in there. Why give money to a place like this who obviously don't care about customer service!! Not to mention we get overcharged every time. They charge you different prices every time when prices are clearly marked! If your looking for good ITALIAN cooking then go a little further down Edgell to FRANCOS TRATTORIA!! BEST Italian subs, pasta and pizza in Metrowest and NO ATTITUDE! And it's clean and they charge you the same every time you go! I wouldn't let my dog eat at Gianni's.

Nice local pizza joint, tucked away in a bit of a strip mall. Descent food in a community minded establishment.

Gianni's was actually a consideration in my choice of Framingham as a home... Thanks Kurt Duane Since moving to the area over 10 years ago, i've stuck with their Sicilian Pies. Last saturday night, A buddy came over to watch college football...and we made a big call. "Order us some subs this time!" We ordered up a couple of cheese steaks...A FIRST. Delivery is always prompt, the guys at gianni's are top notch. and yes! The cheese steaks were AMAZING.

    (5)
  • Nicholas C.

Customer service is horrible, very rude. Pizza use to be a lot better. Last few times I came it was not the same.

    (1)
  • MARY Q.

used to be the best but something has happened to the help there ... slapped on toppings, dried out meats and an "i don't care cause you've paid cash already" attitude that is frankly insulting to the customer. had a chicken saltimbocca pizza (and i stress the "salt" in that word) and it was a bunch of large chicken hunks along with extremely salty proscuitto-like dried strips on a pie with no sauce to speak of..... what's turned them into a very mediocre last-choice place to eat ?

  • Tomansina L.

I was in Framingham to visit a friend. He loves pizza. I stopped here to PU a pizza for him. Clean, service was good, pizza was too! No restrooms

    (4)
  • Tom B.

I have been to Gianni's a couple times and I am really not impressed. The pizza is mediocre at best. The people that work there are pretty rude. You always wait at least 45 minutes to an hour for pretty much anything and lastly they only take cash. It's 2015 what place doesn't accept credit cards?? Is business that bad you can't handle the 3% credit card charge?

    (2)
  • Joe D.

First off, yes - cash only. Minus one star for that. Minus another for the staff. While they weren't rude, per se, they certainly could be more amenable to the customers. The remaining three stars are for the food. The cheese pizza is very good. I was told to get the Sicilian by a friend and, while i loved the dough, that's all it was. the regular large pizza was a much better balance of dough, sauce and cheese. The appetizers were fine. I would absolutely order jalapeno poppers and chicken fingers there again. Are they the reason to go? Not as such, no. But worth getting while you're there. One of the better Italian-style pizzas in Framingham. If they would accept credit cards, I would be a more frequent patron. If they did that, I wouldn't even mind them being (nearly) rude to me. :-)

  • Christine T.

I am laughing while reading the other reviews. I can see what people mean by saying the staff is not over friendly. I *sometimes* feel like I am bothering them by ordering their pizza - but in all honesty, I think they are VERY nice guys. SOOO many times they have INSISTED on carrying my order out to my car while I struggle with my 3 very young children and the food. I always insist no - I dont need the help... but they just come around the counter and help me. There are other times when I go in without the kids.. and they ask for them every time. The food is great. I have trouble resisting the pizza! My take on it.. they are just looking to sell their food, not make bff's while doing it. It wouldn't hurt if they were a bit more friendly... but whatever. That is who they are. All business. I still go. My kids love it.

  • Scott S.

Loyal to Gianni's since the first Bush administration. I grew up nearby and even as a NYC resident now (with great pizza every 5 blocks) I still love coming back here when I visit. The pizza is great and the subs never miss. For additional context my fiancée just had her first Philly cheesesteak in Philadelphia and still prefers a Gino special...

    (5)
  • Gary H.

THE!!! Best Pizza in metrowest Mass dare I say in ALL of Massachusetts The subs are awesome as well! Staff and owners are the BEST! Not only are they able to give you great food, but they really do pay attention to their customers. And make the Regulars feel like Family

    (5)
  • Lilia G.

    The best pizza ever!

    (5)
  • Lee G.

Best pizza, hands down. Recommend the Sicilian for large groups. Other "go to" dishes are the chicken broccoli ziti, the Gino Special and the chicken fingers. Delivery is always on time and order is correct.

    (5)
  • Ian A.

Oh man, this place has some of the best pizza I've ever had. I really wish they weren't sticklers about where they deliver to. The place in the same plaza as them delivers to my address, yet they won't. I end up going with the other place a bit more now because of that. But I love this pizza. Haven't even ventured into other food yet because it's so hard to find a great slice.

    (5)
  • Erin B.

I gave em another try and things seem much better everyone is less grumpy and pizza was good this time!!

    (4)
  • Vanna M.

Couldn't wait to try it because of all the great reviews. Unfortunately the slices were HORRIBLE. Are you kidding me people, have these reviewers ever had a good slice. They had a lot of cheese, and I love cheese, but it was so tasteless and heavy. The big guy behind the counter, I don't know if he was the owner, has no personality and wasn't even nice, kind of like the pizza he sells. This guy needs a lesson in making pizza and in doing business. My guess is maybe the pizza used to be good, hence the reviews, and now they are just coasting on that. All you people who think this is good pizza please take a drive to Santarpios or Pizzeria Reginas. Heck even Bertuccis beats this.

    (1)
  • Daniel S.

The pizza is just OK. Very greasy. subs are just OK too. Fortunately for Gianni's, there isn't much competition in Framingham. I can't stand when you call in an order, they say 30 minutes, you show up 30 minutes later and you have to wait another 15 minutes. Complete waste of time and disrespectful.

    (2)
  • Jen L.

This place has horrible service. It takes about 10 minutes to place a phone order because you have to repeat everything 5 times and they always mess the order up anyways..given them enough chances, will never go back. Food is just meh.

    (1)
  • Chris C.

This place is near where I work, so I hit it for lunch sometimes. Meh.

    (3)
  • Frappy F.

Yes, everything they're saying is true. The cash-only policy is stupid-- you have to think ahead to make sure you have some. Their delivery range is feeble. And they are sub-polite in their dealings with customers. You have prepare yourself ahead of time before you enter. Just remind yourself not to expect anything in the way of common humanity when you speak to them. They are not delighted to serve you. Treat them as you would an unpleasant dog, child, or computer. Clear commands and no pleasantries or hesitations, ever! You'll be fine. But the pizza is the best in this town. So you can deal with the situation. I even say "thank you" to them in a hostile way, just to be clear I expect nothing from the fact that we all are human beings.

    (4)
  • Lena W.

I really like the pizza here. But I really wish you could order online. There's one word I would use to describe the guy who answers the phone and it would probably be censored. Rude nasty man who barks "what do you want, name, phone number" and can't even be bothered to say thank you. I've never had anyone rude ring me up in the store I just dread calling and sometimes go to north end treats or papa Gino's because of it. Have someone who isn't a miserable jerk take the phone orders or let people order online. I don't want to talk to someone giving me an attitude when I'm giving you my business.

    (3)
  • A Q.

Hands down...best pizza in or around metrowest. I grew up in the area and have been going here since middle school. Great pizza, subs and salad. Cash only. Closes for a week in July for the owners vacation- somehow I always crave their pizza that week!

    (5)
  • Michael C.

No credit card, but great pizza! I'd give it 5 stars if I didn't have to get cash out at the drug store around the corner, the pizza is great. No grease, very unique pizza dough and lots of different pizzas. I eat there almost once a week. Their sandwiches are also great. If you're in the area and looking for good pizza I'd recommend Gianni's.

    (4)
  • Casey L.

Pretty good pizza- the best I've found in Metrowest so far.Great, doughy crust, perfect thickness, and lots of toppings. Minue one star for the $9 appetizer platter that was lacking in size. I ordered the platter so that I could share with others and the portion size was like it was for one person. I'll definitely be back for pizza again and I will look to try the subs or calzones next.

    (4)
  • Justin G.

I am lucky to live on Edgell Rd, because the best pizza in the Metrowest area is right up the street. I don't care if the staff is gruff or the place is cash only. The Pizza is awesome. So hearty, fresh and delicious. This is my go-to pizza place.

    (5)
  • Skye G.

So although I didn't "go" to Gianni's I have continued to hear rave reviews about the food. It was late and we were in a pinch so I decided to order take out. The person who answered the phone didn't know anything about the menu. I asked about a pocket sandwich vs. a sub and he couldn't answer any of my questions about what was included and what was considered extra. Finally the phone was passed to someone else who greeted me with what is the problem here. No problem, I'd just like to place a delivery order. My meatball sub was almost a meatball pizza. My Alfredo pasta was almost a pizza as well. The cheese and steak was almost missed and well I did order one pizza. I asked to give my credit card and they told me they were cash only so I asked for the total so I could be sure I had it before they came. They put the phone down to talk badly about how I was new and didn't know the drill and on and on. The delivery came, without a menu, no problem as we won't be going or ordering again. The only thing that was ok was the meatball sub. The rest well...we are calling back much less go for mediocre food for over $50 bucks. Wow! I have no idea what everyone is raving about. I should have hung up and canceled my order.

  • John N.

So, I have gone back twice since my review and the service was better both times. What can I say, good food is hard to find and everybody deserves a second chance.

    (4)
  • Katya d.

Having now lived in the area for 2.5 years, we can now say this is the best "fast food/non gourmet" type pizza in probably a 10 mile radius. I've had friends and family in from NY and NJ who say it rivals pizza from those places. Cash only and the guys behind the counter and on the phone can be seemingly curt and grumpy but don't take it personally, they're just getting the job done.

    (5)
  • Lindsey H.

I'm bumping my review from three stars to four. Last time I ordered from them we had two small pizzas... I am convinced small pizzas never taste as good as large. I ordered three large for a small group and they were all so much better than my last order! The cheese and pepperoni were excellent. The veggie was pretty good, but might have been a bit overloaded on the toppings which made it not as crispy.

    (4)
  • Marybeth J.

Stopped by Gianni's last week. They have some pretty good steak subs.

    (5)
  • Joe C.

I travel all over the NorthEast and found this place. Best pizza ever! I have been bringing home pizza from RI for years, but this is the best. I travel from NH to get the thick crust it is just the best. Love this place!

    (5)
  • Karen S.

Surly workers, canned vegetables and cash only. I would eat pizza anywhere over this place.

    (1)
  • Sandy B.

"A chip on their shoulder", as one reviewer put it. This doesn't begin to describe the boorish behavior of the staff at Gianni's. It's such a shame because the food must be good for customers to continue putting up with their shenanigans. First and foremost - cash only...really? In 2011? This was the crux of the problem, as I called in a takeout order but was not told that cards are not accepted. When I got to the counter, one gentleman took my name, slammed down my pizza and refused to make eye contact. He then said whatever the total came to, finally looked up and saw my card, and aggressively jabbed at the small, grimy sign hanging overhead. At this point everyone working behind the counter stopped to stare, and I was getting really uncomfortable. I said I hadn't been told over the phone and didn't have enough money. He immediately yelled back, "What we're supposed to say that to everybody? Cash only? Who does that?" My response was "Well, that was nice; I'll be sure to come back" and walked out. I realized later that if they had been nice about it, I would have come back with the cash. There is an ATM at the intersection of Edgell and Water Streets. But I'd never give Gianni's a dime of my money - haven't ever experienced such crass, rude service. Walked across the plaza to Andreas' pizza, where they couldn't have been nicer - my pizza was made to order on 15 minutes, cost less, and was delicious. You lost a good customer, Gianni's. Apparently, you don't care.

    (1)
  • Seth W.

I always do takout (not delivery). The staff are friendly and ask how things are. The subs are all decent to good with a few (the cheeseburger sub, especially) being very good. The pizza is very good and hands-down the best of the five places in the Nobscot area. I come here again and again!

    (5)
  • Joy Z.

okay i dont know why all these reviews are about the friendly-ness of the employees. guess what- when i go to get TAKE OUT i just want my food i dont give a shit about how they handed it to me. if you think they are rude you are clearly not italian and don't understand. theyre so busy 24-7...and people ask the same damn question about cash only when its posted all over the place. if you missed the sign thats your fault...walk across the street and get cash. big whoop. i have been going here since i was little. there food is excellent. i love pretty much everything on their menu. exspecially the baked ziti. it's delicious! and there buffallo chicken sub...omg drooling. so anyway- i will stick up for Gianni's 100% they're amazing.

  • Shoshi K.

The pizza is "as good as it gets"!! Perfect crust, not too thick or thin, perfect ratio of cheese: sauce...my mouth is watering! I love supporting a local family owned business. This is a nice family to support, very involved and generous with local schools.. Yes the counter/phone people are not always the friendliest but they are busy and work hard. Just grab your food and go! You may just get a little smile out of them on occasion ;)

  • Pat G.

My family and I have been eating at Giannis my whole life. The best of the best, the bees knees, the king of pizzas, etc. They are literally the best I have ever had. I don't care if they have bad customer service that doesn't change the taste. If you don't like Giannis you are a communist!

    (5)
  • Jeremy K.

4 stars and an update! so this is now the local za place, thank you credit score! what can i add. well its still pretty darn good Neapolitan style pizza. they carry boars head and can belt out a few dozen types of subs/samachies. they also can give you that nyc attitude all the way out here in the metrowest, heya, whatta wan?! ima goin breaka a faca..! etc what i dont like, cash only! too bad so sad, oh and if you want to have fun with them, ask for basil on the pizza, its not on the menu and it blows their mind that you would want to do such a thing, its like i asked for baby parts on that pie.

  • Christopher S.

When I lived in Framingham Gianni's was my place to go for pizza. I'm a big fan of doughy pizza and lots of tomato sauce. I've never had a bad meal or experience here and when you've been coming here for a long time they'll known you by name. Not even a step in the door and they'll be saying hello to you immediately. My folks come here so much they've been given nicknames "Bam-Bam & Pebbles." Gianni's has a large menu with tons of options. Regular to Specialty Pizzas, Subs, Sandwiches, Salads, Pasta dishes and so much more. They offer delivery but you might want to inquire how far they will travel. I discovered one night working late at work they will not deliver to the south side of Framingham. CASH ONLY! Suggestions: -Sicilian Pizza -Turkey BLT Sub -Large Cheese with Peppers & Onions.

  • David B.

Have had the deep dish pizza several times from Gianni's and it is my favorite pizza that I have had in the area since we have moved here about 1 year ago. I am a fan of deep dish pizza and it was hard to find a place in the area that made a good deep dish. The pizza is not perfect but is by far the best that I have had in the area. If you are in the Framingham area this is where I would go but I would not make a trip out of your way to go here. The service is ok, not very welcoming but they are pretty efficient.

  • Dan M.

Tasty pizza- Check... Quick delivery- Check... Wonderful Greek salad- Check. Gianni's is one of the better choices for pizza in the Sudbury area. Their pie's are tasty and their salad's are fresh and flavorful. They will deliver to almost anywhere in the area and are usually very quick and prompt. The people who own the place are also very nice at all times. For the Domino's and Pizza Hut's and just go to GIANNI'S

  • Jj D.

I live pretty darn close to this place...so close I actually go there to pick up food instead of getting it delivered. The pizza is good, nice and greasy. The french fries and buffalo fries are nothing to write home about. Pre-blanched frozen deals that you can buy at a restaurant supply store. Greek salads are good they crush it with tons of fetta...and I do appreciate that. But where they really shine is in the Sub department. Being a full blooded Italian that crap subway passes off does not fly. Chopped pickles and tomato's with hot peppers. Mortadella mozzarella cheese, prosciutto oil vinegar salt and pepper. Oh, so good. (excuse the spelling) The people that work theirs personality does leave something to be desired. Just tell them what you want, wait for the food and pay. Don't make small talk or try to pal around because they don't want to be your friend. Which is fine, if I want to converse I'll chat up some 16 year old douche bags while playing call of duty on Xbox. Or head to a walmart and discuss politics with the cashier whose social views borderline on nothing but conspiracy theory.

  • Alex B.

So the food is amazing. Quite possibly the best pizza's out there. The issue is not with the food its with the service. It was also one of the only places open during Hurricane Irene, so they are dependable. First off, its 2011 if you run a food business you should take plastic, which Gianni's does not. Also the staff always seems to have a chip on their shoulder, thus I wouldn't sit down to eat.

    (3)
  • Brian D.

Tried it once ordered-in to work and went there once. A bit out of the way if all you know if Framingham is route 9, but it was worth the drive. The pizza is a little "doughy" but that's still infinitely better than all the "bready" places you find these days. All told, I had some great pizza there and really enjoyed the experience.

    (4)
  • Denise P.

I hadn't ordered from Gianni's for a couple of years, as I didn't think it was anything outstanding. However, my daughter recently convinced me as "everyone" says their pizza is the best. Gave it another shot. They didn't seem that busy, there were 4 guys standing behind the counter, looking at each other, like who's turn is it, like handing me a pizza and taking my money is a big deal. The sauce was good, and they don't scrimp on the cheese, however the crust seemed slightly undercooked and was tough to bite - if that makes sense. It was OK. Not worth the hype or $12 for a simple cheese pizza. I'll keep going across the lot to Andreas.

    (3)
  • R B.

This is the stuff, holy grail pizza. And they have slices for when I start thinking about it and can't stop thinking about it. Next closest for me is Natalie's (Natick) or Bronzetti's (F'ham). I don't know how the burly men who work here fit behind the counter (there always seems to be 4 or 5), but they are always very nice. (And I'm at any age where I now don't mind being called honey or dear once in awhile!)

  • Jonny S.

Best Pizza in Greater Boston Area! Basically the shinning star of Framingham. And this is also coming from a now new yorker.

    (5)
  • Jon P.

Best delivery pizza in the Nobscot/N. Framingham area. Can be a long wait for delivery on a Friday or Saturday during dinner hours. And even with two phone numbers, can still be hard to get through. But the prices are good, the pizza is great, and hey...what else can you ask for?

    (4)
  • Anna T.

We have been going to this neighborhood place for years. They have the best pizza in Framingham as they are originally from NY. They also have good pastas like chicken caccitore, ziti-garlic/oil-broccoli-chicken. The salads look fresh but I don't like the dressings they use there so that could be improved. They have a special sometime called the roast beef au jus sub, if you ever see it shown for the day, order it. It is wonderful and tasty. There subs do run small but are pretty good. I get their steak and pepper sub there which has very little fat/grizzle which I hate. Now that Natick pizza is changing hands this will be my go to sub place along with Pizza Peddler in Natick which has wonderful deli meats, try them too. There are 2 guys here that are friendly, the rest are more busy and not as friendly. This place gets a lot of business.

    (4)
  • Taco E.

I have been going to Giannis for several years. Sure they're not that friendly but their food makes up for it. Great subs, pizzas, and salads. My fav pizza is the Formaggio. If you're a cheese fan (who isn't?) I'd recommend that pizza!!

    (5)
  • Jason K.

Best pizza around. Only way to get better pizza is to drive to NY.

    (5)
  • Jenny K.

Josh K. (aka "Gloucester Gourmet") took us to his beloved hometown of Framingham and introduced us to his favorite pizza place. The pizza was good but quite greasy. At $9 for a large cheese (yielding 8 ample sized slices) this meal was a great bargain.

  • Suzy L.

We don't often carry cash (we're plastic only people most of the time), so it took us a few months to try Gianni's. My husband, B, is a big fan of Sicilian style pizza, so he was psyched when he saw it on their menu. We got a Sicilian pepperoni and onion rings. Dude, that pizza is HUGE and HEAVY. I didn't know what to expect when I picked up the box, and it dropped a good six inches in my hands. The pizza was SO good, and it fed us for like, 3 days. The onion rings, not as good. They tasted a little metallic, almost. I wasn't a fan. I really want to try their regular pizza, and am mystified by the "thick dough" concept... what the heck do they think the Sicilian is? Next time we have cash, we'll be back!

    (4)
  • J.J. B.

We had a late-ish dinner last night and I didn't feel like driving across town for my go-to place. So I got over ordering my pizza well done and ordered a pepperoni pie. It was fantastic. So I'm adding another star. Next up, I try it with the veggies.

    (4)
  • Kimberly L.

Pretty good stuff! We had a lg Hawaiian, and it was definitely one of the better ones i've had! Generous toppings that were fresh and well portioned, good sauce good cheese and thicker crust made for one great pizza. Though delivery took about an hour, it was a Friday night, but when we did get it it was piping hot and JUST came out of the oven. Will definitely be going here again!

    (4)
  • Nicole A.

The chicken brocolli ziti is awesome! They are always friendly when I go in (including being very understanding the first time I forgot to bring CASH and had to run to the ATM). Like others have said, delivery can take a while... but the food is always fresh and HOT when it comes! I'm a life-long fan! :o)

    (5)
  • Leo L.

Very reliable and close by - much better than most of the local pizza places I've had in the past in the Boston area (e.g. in Somerville, Cambridge). They always have slices of cheese pizza available and that's a sure thing with the kid. Some folks have described the pizza as Neapolitan - perhaps - it actually reminds me of NYC style pizza, though the sauce is not as deliciously zesty. We often get the pasta dinners. They're actually pretty good in a pinch, particularly for the money (~$10), though the chicken is always a touch dry. All in all, a great local take out place.

    (4)
  • Shannon B.

Best pizza in Boston area. They deliver, it's fresh and delish. My fave? Green pepper and onion or Mediterranean Mista. There are a few tables to eat in the joint, but it is really too hot and noisy to enjoy your slice. There are lunch specials as well.

    (5)
  • Chris M.

Gianni's is a nice little family-owned pizza place with a fair amount of seating inside. Prices I would say are just like any other place. The regular pizza's are really good. What I enjoy most is the Sicilian style Chicken Tarantella pizza. Its a huge pizza. Usually we get the bacon added instead of the peppers and it's very unhealthy but very good. The staff there aren't so welcoming but they do cook some damn good pizza. This pizza is above average and is definitely one of the better places to eat in the Metrowest area.

    (4)
  • Tony W.

Gianni's is by far the best pizza in Framingham. I read something about them having a chip on their shoulder. I can honestly say they aren't rude ... they are just busy. Working at a busy pizza & sub shop can make anyone seem rude but if you guys ever went when they weren't, then you'd realize these are good, hard working people. I appreciate their pizza and will continue to go to Gianni's for many years to come.

  • Isabel M.

Good food, ATROCIOUS service. We walked in last night, and they appeared to be closing up. We asked, "are you open for orders?" and the guy behind the counter flatly replied "well the door's open." The younger guy mopping the floor was not shy with his irritation at our presence. One older gentleman finally took our order and was pleasant enough, but the other men behind the counter made us feel really uncomfortable. When the food came, it was hot and good and a decent value for the money. After growing up in Framingham just down the street, I knew their reputation for poor service. It's a shame as their pizza is probably the best in the general vicinity. Gianni's, if you cleaned up your attitude you could be a really great establishment. Just remember it's your customers who keep you open and in business along with your product; so you should treat everyone with respect -- not just the regulars.

    (2)
  • Bostex T.

Having lived in Framingham 3 years now, we've managed to try quite a few pizza places in our area. However, we stopped trying different places once we found Gianni's. (Except in August when Gianni's is closed for a vacation week.) I'm not sure how they do it - my wife says it the tomato sauce - but they make really great pizza. We've made it a Friday night deal that I look forward to all week. When you get a busy signal when you call after 6pm on a Friday, you can just take that as a sign of how many people consider Gianni's the best around. Only thing is, be aware it's a cash only establishment. Vist one of the 3 ATMs 50yds away at the intersection.

I haven't their pizza yet but I heard they have AMAZING pizza!!! I like their subs and their salads are fresh (altho I'd prefer mixed variety of greens in the salads instead of just boring romaine or lettuce) My only complaint? It takes way too long for delivery (I live like 5 minutes away but it takes them an hour) AND they close WAYYY too early!!! Close at like at 10 or 11 every night please :)

I have been to Gianni's twice now, and each time i have been overwhelmed by the flavors in their food, it's quite exciting to bite into a piece of pizza and have to close your eyes to savor the experience. I highly recommend their Sicilian pizza, the crust is amazing, and the size versus price, makes it worth every penny. Every specialty pizza I have tried so far, the different toppings have complimented each other, instead of being overwhelming.

What can I say, i LOVE Gianni's. I have been going there for as long as I can remember, I am pretty sure that growing up they had my family's order ready before we even called. Their pizza is the best EVER! Even their new Sicilian style pizza is killer! If you are in the Framingham area it is totally worth grabbing a pizza.

After a long time away from Framingham, I had the pleasure of eating at Gianni's once again this past weekend while I was in town. Just as great as I remember it 20 years ago. Amazing Italian style pizza. Good to know some things never change! A Nobscot staple...thanks Gianni's!

I'm an ex New Yorker, too, and Gianni's would even be good by Queens and Brooklyn standards. The place was recommended to me by another "expatriated" New Yorker. You idiot Bostonians for the most part don't know what great pizza really is. Gianni's is it

Let me first off say that I started coming here in 6th grade and came every single day until my senior year in high school. Giannis pizza is the best pizza you are going to get in Framingham. After you get to know the guys who work there you find that everyone is really friendly and nice to their customers. A great selection of pizza and they usually have it waiting for you so there isn't much of a wait. I now live in Tampa for school and I miss Giannis everyday. I love going home and getting to get some pizza for the short time I am back home!

These guys were so arrogant. Was it perhaps due to Italy's loss in the World Cup. We don't know or care. No reason to be so blunt. NO smiling, no courtesy, no bathroom, just pizza, a mediocre sub and that's it. Cash only too. We sat outside because the atmosphere sucked. The pizza was decent but not as great as I've had or as other reviewers claim.

What can I say... these angry guys make some of the best pies in the area. Solid NY- style. Great flavor with just the plain sauce and cheese. The Sweet & Hot rocks my world with hot banana peppers and sausage. Nothing better! Subs and salads are 'aight, but nothing special. The pizza's where is at. Only negative - they close kind of early. 9pm.

I wasn't completely impressed: it's pretty good for Framingham, but not comparable to places where pizza is taken seriously, like NY or even Boston's North End, Rever or Medford. Their sandwiches though, are NOTHING to write home about: the day I moved to Framingham I picked up a steak & cheese from them for lunch & almost packed back up & left!!! Small chunks of low-quality meat, cold slice of cheese, flavorless fluffy roll, etc..if anything try the white pizzas which are pretty good.

I LOVE their Sicilian pizza. I had a Speciale di Casa Sicilian the other night, and it was awesome!!!!

Really good pizza. I have had more than my fair share of pizza in NY (the worlds best pizza in my opinion) and Gianni's comes as close to that as you are going to find in this area. Not quite up to NY standards, but not far behind.

Gianni's makes great pizza. The prices are reasonable; the slices are large, and it is the best pizza I've had in Framingham.

I cannot stress this enough, people who handle the food should not touch the money at the register!!!!!!!!!!!! That is extremely un-sanitary. After placing my order, the guy (think this was the owner too) began making my pizza. He then stopped stretching the dough so that he could ring my order up at the register. He took my money and proceeded to work on the pizza dough. I was completely shocked by this action. They did have several people working behind the counter so it is not as if they were short handed. This totally turned me off! As others have mentioned in their reviews, the people are a bit curt and rude. As soon as you walk in their greeting is "yea, what do you want". Sort of like you are bothering them. I am paying for food which does require some customer service. Understood that this is not a personality contest but I think if you expect repeat customers, you should be a bit more pleasant. NY style pizza, guess so it is thin crust but the sauce lacks a lot of flavor. Considering the rude factor and the dirty hands making the pizza, I will not be going back or recommend anyone to try this place.

Gianni's serves some SERIOUSLY good pizza. They have a couple great combos- i.e. 2 slices and a can of soda for about $3.75. My only complaint is that the slice sizes have diminished-- they used to have these whopping portions, and now they're the size of a normal slice of pizza :(

Literally the best Italian thin crust pizza in MA outside of the North End. Just your basic cheese pizza is delicious. Lots of specialties. Margherita is very good, but can get droopy.

The pizza is good with the Sicilian being something different from the norm, however my favorite thing to get at a pizza place to go with my pizza is a good Greek Salad, and Gianni's just doesn't have it. Their Greek Salad actually had regular olives instead of kalamata (a pet peeve of mine -- I order a greek salad and I would like some greek olives with it, too, please). Prices are reasonable and this is a nice family-owned business. There are pictures of the grandkids all over the walls and you can expect to see them walking around in the office area of the establishment or perhaps eating their lunch at one of the few tables inside.

If you're looking for a quick slice of pizza or a sub, they're one place to stop. The food isn't spectacular, but the service is fast and the prices are good. Slices start at $1.80 and subs range from $4-7. They even have Sicilian slices for $2 if you're looking for a heftier meal. They have outdoor seating in the summertime, but it's right on a rather busy road, so expect some noise and wind.

Best pizza place in town by far. My only complaints would be that they are cash only, and they are kinda stingy in their delivery area. Besides that if you want great pizza and you are not a fan of the chains this is the only place to go in Framingham.
