I recently moved to the Foxboro area and have been trying out places in the area. Foxboro Mandarin did not make the cut. It wasn't "bad" per say, but it's def not a place that I would recommend. The crab rangoons have a thick coating, the fried rice was dry, and the chicken lo mein had very small chicken pieces and too many bean sprouts. Overall....there are better options.

My local, take out Chinese restaurant. Good, solid, Chinese-American food prepared quickly and cheaply. A good variety of lunch and dinner plates, none of which cost more than $8.75 (12/28/09). Portions are large and always seem freshly made. They have a weekday lunch buffet, a full bar (say "Hi" to Dave), and the owner Jerry is in there 7 days a week running the show. I love their General Gau's Chicken and their Boiled Wonton in Sesame Sauce. Delivery is quick and they haven't messed up an order once, which is rare in my food delivery history.

Wow!!! Drinks were $5.25. Yes I said $5.25!!! Not the best looking place ive ever seen, but it gets the job done. This will be my new drink spot. Drinks were good and not watered down like many other places. I didn't care to try the food as there is a great place about 100ft walking distance, but for drinks with good amount of alcohol and really good prices this is the best in the area.

I have to say that I called them by mistake when I intended to call Mandarin Chef and have never gone back. They have virtually the same menu as Mandarin Chef but it is so much better and the sauces are great and the dishes are so much fresher. I have only had delivery and never has the order been later than the promised time. They do the basics very well and offer a level of customer service which is head and shoulders above the competition. Their prices are fair and average for the market and even if they were a bit above it would be worth it for the quality. I suggest this place to anyone who likes good old Chinese-American food.

Great Chinese food. Very cleanand lay back atmosphere. You can hang out here for hours and watch TV. No one will bother you. My boyfriend and I dropped in on our way to Boston from New York.it's been a long drive and he was craving Chinese food. We ordered beers, drinks, pu pu platter, hunan beef and veggie spring rolls. My boyfriend was able to catch up on the NBA games. Its a really family ran place. The owners and the bartender seemed to know all the locals that walked through the door. And I would say that for Americanized Chinese food, this place rivals most places in New York city. Order the pu pu platter and Mai Tai. Its yum.

Nice bar setup, but the buffet was somewhat disappointing. It was the selection of food was lacking. Maybe I'm just used to the Chinese buffets from back home, where there are 30+ selections (more at the super buffets). There were about a dozen selections at this buffet and the quality was about average for buffet food. That said, I may come back, but won't be a regular.

Mediocre Chinese food, prices are about average like the food. You're better off going here: yelp.com/biz/mandarin-ch…

The few times I have been there I always found it to be clean, and I always received a fair amount of attention from the staff, but unfortunately the food is just average. There are just too many better options for Asian food in Foxboro and surrounding towns. I just can't get enthused about Foxboro Mandarin. Jaimie...

Foxboro Mandarin was kind of an unplanned pit stop in my quest to get dinner for myself and a gentleman I work for. The service was excellent and the food was hot and fresh. I have difficulty reviewing Chinese restaurants but I had no complaints and would definitely return.

This is our local Chinese restaurant It is neither fantastic nor awful; the delivery times are neither slow nor fast. The prices are reasonable - not cheap, not expensive. Basically if it's Friday night and you want reliable, standard Chinese food delivered, this is the place for you.
