Sat down at a table across from the bar and after waiting for someone to offer us a drink, I ended up going to the bar to order. Multiple people with shirts on that had the jr logo drinking. Clearly noticed us. Went outside after returning from bar to see that the table next to us took my stool when I got up to order. Open mic night inside. No one paying attention to the music. But between the music and people talking, definite sound issues. Too loud! Outside was refreshing. Except for the lack of maintenance on the tables. Tables dirty from the people before us. Wet drink rings on the tables, ashtrays full of cigarettes or torn up coasters. .. but we met some nice friendly guys and had a nice conversation. That was the highlight. Would I go again. .. not likely. Great setup, nice local dive bar, but it doesn't seem like anyone really cares. I love dive bars, I prefer them. A good dive bar is welcoming and relaxing and isn't supposed to be the prettiest, but, to me it usually offers a warm inviting laid back feel. It appears to me that the person managing this bar hasn't walked around it in a while, Christmas lights with wasted bulbs on the porch, adorned by cobwebs and dirty tables. Staff drinking in uniform, While guests wonder how to get a drink..... place could be great, has potential, someone needs to manage it properly. To clarify, Went in at 12am on a Tuesday, it doesn't matter what time it is. ..if you are open, then the above issues should be a constant focus until the doors close.

We had the best Steak Tips and mushrooms sandwich here last week. Thank you team, great job. The atmosphere needs a lot of work but the food and the waitresses are great. A great place for sandwiches.

We ate here 3 times while on thei Cape for two weeks. Great service , great food & very cold beer. The best fish & chips on the cape!

I was a little mad when my waitress turned down my ID because I got it before I was 21 and therefore it was portrait facing ID despite the fact that I'm now 21 and the ID is a valid and accepted form of identification.

We come here often with Mike meeshak..arnie and oh gary. The food is great and the atmosphere is friendly. We adore April. Sydney and jen Saturday nights is off the hook music. This place is got real potential

You know when you read YELP reviews and find a 5 star rating, it is hoped that it wasn't a bunch of reviewers from the Work Furlough Bus from the local prison. Alas, that is the only explanation that I can derive for this way below average restaurant. We went with such high hopes and yes it is a bar / tavern and it is being rated amidst the bar / tavern experience. The food was horrid. I had the rib eye which I think I could still see the saddle marks from the old nag and the fish that my son had, might have been frozen during the ice age or been personally hand picked by one of first settler to New England. It is a pity, as the decor and the potential are optimistically encouraging. But, no do not go and I am probably doing the owner a favor with a one star rating as your expectation for a culinary experience similar to McDonalds might be achieved and your disappointment lessened. JR Brody's is a great local pub with a great beer selection. They just put in a completely new beer tap system and have 10-15 beers on tap from all over the place (not just the standard Bud/Coors/Miller mix). Great place with to watch the game (go Bruins!) with pub type food (more seafood of course being close to the water). Everyone was very friendly there - you're sure to meet some new people if you sit at the bar.

This is a cute place to eat in Falmouth. I was there in the off season so it was quiet and cozy...I recommend the quahogs and crab dip to start. My friends also really liked the signature drinks The menu online says the sausage burger comes with grilled peppers and onions, I was disappointed to find a piece of canned roasted red pepper on top, but the sausage is very good...overall a great place to go in Famouth

This is a place that locals love and tourists discover with pleasure. Brodys is a small sports pub on Route 28 w/ numerous fresh draft beers...busy place... with good food. The fish and chips are quite likely the best in Falmouth. They make their own excellent coleslaw; not that 50% mayo stuff that comes out a cardboard gallon container. I usually get the mashed instead of fries just to say I'm a little closer to the "healthy" side and it makes a great " fish'n mashed" meal. You are bound to wish this place was in your own backyard. If it IS in your backyard, you need to try the place.

Love this place! I stopped in on a Friday afternoon recently while on a motorcycle ride. The food was great, the service awesome. I had a burger with fries and a stuffed quahog. They use great fries, not those seasoned, coated things other places like to use nowadays. The bartender, I think she was one of the owners, was great, she treated us like old time regulars. I will be back.

Stopped here on a Cape Cod drive through. We had 3 kids with us so we were happy to see the dining room was separate from the bar. Nice variety of menu selections. We had steak sandwich, pulled pork sandwich, fish tacos, skewered shrimp, Mediterranean haddock (yum) and fish & chips. All very good as was the crab meat dip we ordered for an appetizer. Waitress was very attentive which was amazing since she was also the bartender. We definitely recommend this restaurant

I often come here with friends and family, food is always good and reasonably priced. Fun, friendly pub atmosphere to hang out for a beer!

Came here on the last night of my week long stay in Falmouth. We were looking for a quick and more reasonably priced place to eat. I will say that the service was very good. I was with two other people that enjoyed their diners. The crab appetizer was very good. I was the only one that didn't have sea food for the main course. I had the Switz mushroom burger. I did not find it that flavorful, perhaps due to having it right after the flavorful crab appetizer and caesar salad. I would eat here again but stick with sea food.

We went here 2X in 2 days with our catch from Hairball Charters in Falmouth. Chef knows how to cook fish! April knows how to serve her clients with a smile and so do all the staff. Great food and selection. We'll be back!

Just popped in here for wings and they were AMAZING. I had the garlic ginger wings and was more than imprrssed. Best wings in FALMOUTH.
