The food was great, but the service was slow. My party was sat in a corner of the restaurant where we could not take in the ambiance, nor could we see any other people. Granted, there was a wedding dinner rehearsal going on on the outside dining area, but still...the restaurant should be taking steps to prepare for that, not passing their inability to service the rest of the establishment onto its patrons. The meal took an hour for dinner to be served and no one bothered to check up on us to make sure that we were all right or if we needed anything. By the time the meal arrived, I was already full from eating the rolls. This was inexcusable and at least 2 people in our party were ready to cancel their order and leave. Once the meal was served, we hardly ever saw our server again, except when she placed down the check. I recommend this place for the food and the view, but be prepared to wait, wait, wait for your meal...

Really disappointed today at summer patio night. Burgers were raw but music was great ...I've been here many times and it seems food quality has gone downhill...

View, five stars. Food and cocktails, one. This place needs a ridiculous rehab and they would make a killing.

Debated between the 2 and 3 star rating, food 2 stars, location and service 3. The free cheese, crackers, and bread have honestly out-shined a lot of the meals I have had here. My boyfriend and I have been here 4 different times and its always because we are starving, there is a wait everywhere else, and we need crackers and cheese ASAP. I have consistently thought the food was very "meh", chicken picatta overcooked served with soggy fried eggplant, maple glazed salmon literally tasted, looked, and smelled like they just poured maple syrup over the salmon after they cooked it (my idea of a glaze is something different...), burger with carmelized onions was soggy, and sometimes I am not in the mood to hear people singing and screaming in the dining room from the event that is going on directly behind us (why the eff seat us there...?). I have had good experiences with the mediterranean flatbread, calamari, veggie sides, and like i said, free bread and crackers and cheese, are always great. The location and service have always been pluses for me, and I can see how it would be a great place to have an event. The food definitely leaves something to be desired for the price, and thats why my bf and i have decided to never go back, I would just much rather spend 15-20$ at a number of other restaurants for much better food, even if it means a wait and no cracker instant gratification.

Tired menu that needs updating. Lackluster service. Go away DPYC and come back as a restaurant with some excitement in the menu- perhaps one that actually changes from time to time.

Three couples at dinner tonight, two couples liked their meal very much but my boyfriend and had only so-so food. The fisherman's platter is big on fries and onion rings, light on the fish...the turkey dinner was just okay...the apple cobbler dessert was awful, one of us had the baked scallops and the plate was 9/10 filled with the two sides and 1/10 filled with the tiniest baked scallops I've ever seen. Very good service. Average prices. The space is a bit tight - especially for a group of more than 4 - and the decor is nothing to write home about, a bit dated...

You can't beat the venue. It's outside dining and you get to watch the various weddings, and other large parties going on. Over the last few years, the quality of food and deserts have been going steadily down. But I do go back periodically, but only because it is outside dining. Grandma says her burger was good. Maybe burger and a beer is the way to go; or perhaps a salad.
