Over a cold, beautiful Valentine's Day weekend, my girlfriend and I had a fabulous time at this cute Bed & Breakfast in the mid-cape. It was actually my first experience in a B&B, and after this it certainly won't be the last. It is located along Route 6A, surrounded by historical houses and eclectic shops as well as many nice-looking restaurants. This was a perfect take-off point for exploring the entire Cape - as a day trip we drove to Provincetown, stopping along the way at Boardwalks, beaches and stores. The first night we had dinner in Hyannis, the second night at the Blue Moon Bistro just a few miles away. The house, and everything in it, is completely cute. It is clear that the innkeeper had dreamed and planned every aspect of this place for years, and she is one of those lucky few people who love their job. The afternoon we arrived to the smell of baking brownies and her warm welcome. Our room at a wood-burning fireplace (quite romantic) and a surprisingly large bathroom. Breakfast was a treat - 3 courses, made to order by the innkeeper, delicious and unique. Items included grilled pineapple and cream, scrambled eggs Benedict, macadamia nut french toast, and pear muffins. Nice coffee is abundant. The kitchen is so comfortable, cozy, and relaxing with a deep red paint and coordinated decor. While I had tried to plan ahead a bit on the web to find sites and restaurants, the innkeeeper is deeply knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful in making your vacation all the better. We appreciated her advice to check out the Atlantic Spice Company, and she knew what was open in the winter. A note on the Cape in the winter - I haven't been there in the summer, but provided that you can bundle up and take warming breaks in between adventures outside, I loved it. The lack of a crowd, and the untouched snow blanketing historic houses was perfect for this weekend get-away. I'm glad that the Acworth Inn could be a part of our Valentine's Day - it was a trip to remember, and we'll be recommending the place if our families' visit in the future. On price - pretty standard for the off season Cape. I was willing to pay more to get a room with a fireplace and private bathroom, so I'd say this is one step up from the total budget-value. With the quality and quantity of the breakfast, figure in that you can basically skip lunch.

My husband and I stayed here in December on a snow day. We couldn't cancel our reservation, we had been planning this stay for a while. It was worth it. The owner and her dog were very kind and accommodating. The place itself is historic and beautiful. The living room was decorated for Christmas and very home-y feeling. It took a little while for the room heater to heat up but the blankets were very warm so we were able to sleep soundly after our long day traveling from NYC. The breakfast menu catered to our specific needs and served elegantly in the clean and beautiful dining room. I would definitely come back and recommend this place to friends.

This is my first review on yelp, but I read them all the time a take them seriously...bearing that mind, the Acworth Inn was fantastic! My wife and I stayed there for a weekend to celebrate our Babymoon (apparently that's a thing) and loved every minute. It was beautiful, clean and very charming. Breakfast was DELISH and perfectly served by our host, Lisa. This brings me to the best part about the Inn: Lisa. She is a very sweet lady who is as accommodating as she is nice! She had great suggestions about beaches and local attractions and didn't overwhelm us with too many options. Upon request, she had a bottle of sparkling cider (read: baby) waiting for us to toast our first night and gifted us the customized flutes to remember our trip. Her warmth and hospitality will bring us back to the cape and back to her cozy Inn, Thanks Lisa!!!

We stumbled in to Lisa's little inn on a rainy Sunday night. We were delighted by the many clean and well equipped rooms at very reasonable prices. She provided iced tea with mint, excellent restaurant and activity recommendations and otherwise left us alone. The morning brought a lovely breakfast of mango bread, berries, and eggs to order served with a bottomless cup of coffee on the porch. My boyfriend had an early round of golf across the street at Cummaquid, he was greeted in the early hours with coffee and muffins. This is a perfect place to stop for an evening or weekend.

Loved it! We went in July for 1 night and wished we could have stayed longer. The room was great. Very clean. The innkeeper was extremely accommodating in every regard. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Will def return.

If you read my reviews you know I usually only speak up when I have something to warn you about, but this place is the complete opposite. This IS A MUST STAY. I stayed here only for a night with my girlfriend, but she was super accommodating, polite and above all genuine. She made us feel like we were staying for a month's time, gave us suggestions, told us how to get around and what to do. I will definitely be staying there next trip to the Cape. Nice to meet you and I look forward to being able to return.
