It's a local landmark that has seen much better days and has rapidly declined over the years. It's pretty sad actually. The food is dreadful. They need a new chef and fresher food. I mean you can't even get a good sub there. How hard is it to cook a sub? Mine had greasy bread and slimy peppers. The televisions are old tube TV's and a couple rear projections that must be 15 years old. The actual menus are greasy and dirty and must be as old as the TV's. I hope the owner reads this and considers some much needed updates. Buy a couple new LCD televisions from Best Buy. They are pretty cheap. Or splurge and spend a few grand on an 80" Sharp LCD. Your patrons would love you for it, especially to watch sports. Buy new menus or just have them printed up down the street at Staples. Even paper menus would be better than old dirty ones. The food quality also needs to dramatically improve, it's not good at all. I am not trying to be mean, it's the truth. You have a great location and if you make a few much needed changes, you should start getting more business.

I should have checked yelp first. Thought I would give the local establishment the benefit. .. big mistake. Not sure waitress has ever done this type of work. ..I thought term, 'house dressing ' was a near universal but not so. Food was horribly bland (fried chicken ). If you go, suggest you go with bottled beer, my draft had classic flavor of skunked lines.

The place definitely needs an update for ambience but the wait staff was fine. I was very happy with the pizza. Would recommend it.

I like a casual place where you can get a good, inexpensive meal. Bridge Cafe used to be that place, but they have been slowly declining. The waitstaff is forgetful, usually bringing the wrong drinks or forgetting the appetizer. The food is heartburn inducing and mediocre.

Things must have been better back in the day but as for today the people in the kitchen have lost their way. Rumors abounded over the years that this restaurant had great fried chicken, so they have been on my list to prove or disprove, perhaps I should have taken other Yelp reviews more seriously. I ordered two pieces of fried chicken with spaghetti which came with a salad and blue cheese dressing. Little did I suspect the salad was to be the high light of the meal, it was crisp, clean, fresh and the chunky blue cheese dressing was very good. The chicken breast was way over cooked, dry stringy and just plain tough, the coating and chicken would have been perfect had it been removed from the fryer 5 to 7 minutes earlier. The chicken wing managed to escape the dry as dust desert fryer heat and had a wee remnant of it's former glory. The spaghetti actually was cooked al dente but had not been properly drained as their was excess water on the plate. The meat sauce was perhaps the worst I have encountered anywhere, there had been an attempt to season it but it was a pitiful paltry inexcusable exercise as it tasted more like an 8 graders worst attempt in Home Economics rather than a bona-fide restaurant with some sort of merit. Someone in that kitchen either has or had fallen asleep either way that experience was enough for me to permanently expunge the Bridge Cafe from my list, you can't make that many mistakes and expect a second chance.

Ok place hasn't been updated and perhaps. Cleaned since they installed the tube tvs they have throughout the area. Definitely don't target the crowd needed to survive (27-45 year old). Stick with the bottle beers... Don't believe the lines have been cleaned in some time nor kept at proper temperature. Food isn't nothing to brag about either... Too many options and nothing to rave about. The bartender 'TD' I believe... No clue how to man a bar. No sort of training or social skills to interact with customers. Never seen anyone either in their so called dining room. Dunkin donuts across the street may be better... Just grab some beers at package store next door and save yourself the disappointment.

The other review seems fairly accurate. We sat down for lunch and weren't sure if anyone was actually working there. The older male waiter was nice enough and attentive enough once he showed up. The food was just OK. I'm not sure if we hit the place at a slow time (though it was just after noon), but the menu is probably too extensive for a low volume place. They should cut it in half and focus more on quality and less on variety.
