Saturday, March 20th. I walk in. How long for a table? a rushed hostess says 20-30 minutes, hands me a pager and walks away. Hello to you too. 35 Minutes later, Hello Oh-So-Friendly Hostess, How are you? How is my name looking? Im still about 3 down. Now I'm shocked, last time the host was exceptional and nice, and this girl is just... blech. So I decide to get a bar table. It's still dirty and once again, last time the host offered to come and clean it personally for me, and now, no such luck. I preceeded to wait five, ten, twelve minutes for a server before going up to the host stand YET AGAIN. "Excuse me, do I have a server for my table?" Blank Stare "Uhhhm I think so. It's supposed to be the bartender". Now the server once she got there was great. Rhianna knew her stuff and was cute to boot, it was just the first 45 minutes that completly ruined my experience. Next time I'll just go to the one on Boyleston.

The people who complain about this place don't have a leg to stand on. If you're looking for authentic Asian food, this is not the place. If you want some decent sweet & greasy Chinese, then look no further. They have your crispy beefs, crispy chickens, and crispy shrimps covered.

I've been meaning to write a review right after we went there a few months ago. It was the longest lunch I've ever had. Only after 1 hour and 45 minutes did all of us get our main dish. I understand they had just opened at that time, but making us wait for almost 2 hours was just not reasonable. To make matters even worse, food quality was barely passable. One duck dish we ordered (called VIP duck) was served with burnt pancakes. Another shrimp dish my colleague ordered was cold and had to be returned back to the kitchen. The only positive thing was that they gave us a generous discount for all the mess-up! Still, I will never ever return to this P.F. Chang's or any other P.F. Chang's. If you're at the Cambridgeside Galleria mall, go to the Mister Wok stall at the food court instead.

Deliver was over an hour late, and our food was cold and dry. And they seemed to have run out of liquids, as all the dishes lacked sauce. I will never order from here again!

I am definitely a fan of the place, BUT you can't mistake it for something- well "genuine." It is a touch inauthentic- BUT it delivers on ALL the things your average, often scary, Chinese restaurant provides. So, sometimes I am in the mood for Chinese American Style and this IS THE PLACE for that. Lettuce Wraps are always a must- I actually found the wine list to be very nice as well. Our waiter (my wife and I) at the last visit was below average, so that was a downer and the noodles we got were WAY TOO spicy- basically hurt to eat them. We will certainly go back again- just won't get those noodles!

I put my reservation in Saturday morning for P.F. Chang's, and then the dream began. I thought about it all day. I expected the egg rolls to come and sweep me away at the door, and for the noodles to wrap me in a warm bed. My clique and I arrived at 9pm (because god forbid we should eat before 8...only 60+ eat before 8!). I admit I love eating late though. I would rather have the hunger pains , and know I am going to be eating something good. All meals begin with a demonstration of mixing sauces including soy, chili peppers, vinegar, and hot mustard. The concoction of the soy sauce and red chili peppers makes me feel like Whitney Houston just getting her new bag of coke in a week. It is hot yet mild, sweet yet sour. A highlight of the dinning experience. One of the standout features of P.F. Chang's are the drinks. The mai tai was simply amazing. For the same price as at Kowloon, I swear you get more alcohol in the drink. There is a layer of rum on the bottom and bourbon on the top that delivers the one-two punch of the Mai Tai. I had two and the "getting up for the first time after drinking at a restaurant experience" was definitely AN experience. So back to the dream about the noodles enveloping me and the egg rolls...well, sadly, that really didn't come true. The food was very basic and generic. It wasn't very hot, and the portions were very small. We got five dishes(There were five of us). It was a la carte, like most Chinese. I was not very impressed at all. I've had better Chinese in hole in the wall in Everett. So before you go, think: would you rather get dressed up and eat crummy Chinese food or Order Out from a better Chinese place, get some DVRed episodes of "The View" cued up, and sit on the couch? I will always choose the latter!

PF Changs at the galleria, how is it that you are so terrible? I wish there was a way for me to give you no star at all. THIS IS A CHAIN! it is a turn the key, everything is all done for you, kind of establishment. I had egg shells in my EGG SHELLS I told the server, her reply: "...and?" and that is disgusting. I am sorry, gross. I love PF Changs, but I am staying away from this one.

Hello fellow Cantabrigeans or those smart enough to venture across the river! To qualify why I am reviewing P.F. Changs, I decided to begin reviewing all establishments I have experienced (in the spirit of being a good-Yelper) and decided the best way to not leave any place out is to start from my place of work and make concentric circles outward (my Cantabridgean i showing!). As PU, I mean PF is just next door, here I am. I hit PF solely because the area is a culinary wasteland and I wanted to believe. I sat at the bar. The menu looked innocuous enough, but i smelled a rat when the bartender had no idea what was in any of the dishes. I asked, "This Chicken dish, what else is in it other than the spicy chicken described?" To which she replied, "Umm i think whatever is described is what is in it." I retorted, "So am I to understand that this dish is a plate of lonely chicken?" I threw all caution into the wind and ordered the spicy "maverick" chicken dish and to my giddy surprise it was accompanied with a medley of vegetables mixed in. The taste? Food court with an extra 2 bucks on the price tag. I would assume they do so because they believe MSG is an exotic ingredient. If ever I find myself again wandering the parched culinary landscape on my lunch break, I will grab a burrito at Boca Grande. At least there they call a duck a duck and a black bean a black bean.

Really nice customer service here. It wasn't their fault that the food was just not good. We ordered food for 4 people (probably about 7 items) and it really could only feed 2, maybe 3 people. Really small portions and the food was just not that good. I had heard the food here was excellent so I was looking forward to it. Dissapointed!

Barely edible dinner here on 7-Nov-2011. Had the Lo Mein that comes with shrimp, chicken and beef and a side of Szechuan asparagus. I ordered for pickup to take back to the hotel across the street - when I got to the restaurant it was dead which is never a good sign. On the plus side, the staff was friendly and my food was ready ~15min after placing my order by phone. Now the bad news - everything was terribly overcooked. I felt like they have high school students cooking on Monday nights and they just don't have a clue what they are doing. The chicken/beef/shrimp in the noodle dish were minuscule pieces which appeared to be rolled in a cornstarch mixture so that they end up crispy when fried. That's fine as a concept but I would guess that the proteins were fried on high heat for upwards of 10 minutes. Wouldn't surprise me if they actually pre-cook a big batch of the proteins and re-fry them on demand which would explain the overcooking. I could barely identify which protein I was eating because it was all just shriveled nuggets of mystery meat. Pretty sure the same guy prepared the asparagus because they were fried beyond recognition as well and included mystery bits of fried starchy nuggets. PFC food is always salty but the over cooking seemed to have made the saltiness extra concentrated. I eat out a lot and I'm a pretty serious home cook as well and it's clear that the back of the house at this location doesn't know what they are doing. Back at the hotel I saw someone with a Cheesecake Factory bag and noted that as an option next time I stay at the Sonesta across from PFC. I've had decent meals at PFCs in the Boston and Chicago areas, this one was terrible.

I'm not ashamed to give it 4 stars. What's not to like? Other than the fact that it's chain, not that authentic (but do places always have to be?), and can get very crowded, it's a pretty fun place to go. And in order to beat the crowds, unlike most chains, they take reservations. You can even make them online if it's more than 24 hours in advance, saving any mistakes in names, times, and numbers of people. On my first trip there, the waitress tried to convince us to get the vegetarian lettuce wraps, my dining companion wasn't so sure because the waitress said they had mushrooms in them. Our waitress brought them to us anyway (on the house), and that was was a smart marketing move, they are now one of my favorite things to eat! The entrees are good (at least the vegetarian ones, which they have many). The staff is always very good about asking if there are any allergies. In addition to many traditional desserts, they also have mini-desserts which are great if you want just a few bites of something. They also have several signature drinks and a pretty diverse beer menu (for a chain anyway).

Every now and again somebody I don't want to offend by saying "no" drags me to this place. Gloopy food, too sweet and too much cornstarch, with little taste. It's Chinese for the timid and tastebudless.

Really 1/2 star at best. Bad service, mediocre food. Maybe they were having an off night but we waited for a reservation (what's the point of a reservation if you wait?), waited 15 minutes for a waitress to take our order, waited 15 minutes for soup to arrive (and they forgot my son's soup), waited another 35 minutes for entrees only after complaining. Dirty tables sat uncleared around us and the food was just so-so. Go to Chinatown instead. I will never EVER eat here again.

Ok, where to start. I've been to PF Changs twice before, both decent experiences. Cambridgeside fell short...okay went off the deepend. Got there, no wait. Definte plus. Girls went in, guys parked the car. We got drinks and menus, waitress came back to take guys drink order. 5 minutes later, drinks are sitting at the bar. Waitress takes our appetizer order. Appetizers come out 10 minutes later, drinks are still at the bar in visible sight. Still. Ask the waitress for the drinks, she gets the. 5 minutes later. Appetizers were pretty good, lettuce wraps, dumplings, crab rangoons and egg rolls. Standard, can't say anything bad about them. Then she comes to take out dinner order We order pork lo mein, mongolian beef and spicy chicken. The pork lo mein was burned and tasted off. The chicken was ok. The mongolian beef was about $2 dollars of dried, beef terriyaki with more scallions then beef. Okay...So we eat, nothing special, nobody is impressed. Couple with us order desert, it takes about 10 min to come. Let me say this. We got there at 9:30, it was still pretty busy. Come 11, the place was pretty slow. They finished desert, waitress is clearing table next to us. Another couple complain about slow service next to us, the manager comes up and apologizes. The waitress comes back to finish clearing the SAME table and cleaning it. Need I remind you we have now been done for 10 min. A person at our tables leans over and asks for the check. Now I've been a waitress before and if somebody asks you for something, you do it right away. That is not the case at PF Changs. She finishes up and then goes to get the check. Unbeliveable. Overall, slow, sloppy service and not even decent food. Avoid at all costs. Oh, but don't worry, while the customers were waiting for bad food and receiving poor service, the waitstaff were hanging out in the bar area eating dinner with the manager. Great place.

Good chain with a wide range of options and a really nice atmosphere (minus the noisy families, so forget about an intimate date). Food is good for sure, but don't go there if you want authentic Chinese food - everything is 'americanized'.

Went there on a weekday, and waited for about 15 minutes in the front while other employees casually looked up as I stood there. The employee who was supposed to be at the front finally comes out and apologizes for keeping me waiting. I get it, things happen, but someone should have covered down or at least informed me. The meal was good nevertheless, and my waiter was awesome. I would have given zero stars but the service afterwards saved the day. 5 stars for the waiter

Ok, I'm not going to review the food here because everyone knows what to expect when you go to a pf changs. And if you don't.... who are you?? I recently ordered take out here and they messed up my order. Orange chicken instead of orange beef... total misunderstanding.. no big deal. What really impressed me was how NICE the hostess and manager were about it. They let me have both meals, didn't charge me anything, and even offered me a drink while I waited for my food (too bad I had to work). I was really impressed with the customer service and even though the food is nothing special, they get a good rating for that alone!
Came here for a fundraiser for their chef (from what tragically happened the previous week). I have to say the staff here is very awesome. Our waiter was super nice and fast with out requests judging there's over 20 of us. The three star is for the underwhelming food. I had the beef Sichuan and it was mostly celery and felt like I was eating beef jerky. Although flavor was not had, it's just not worth how much you pay for the food. Although I didn't exactly come here for the greatest Asian food so we still had a great dinning experience. It would be better if the restaurant wasn't that cold. We were all freezing and felt like the food cooled down in minutes after they got there.

This was our first visit to PF Chang's. The service was very good with helpful suggestions from the server. We had the dinner for two which included soup, starter, entree and dessert for $40. The food was tasty and value of the dinner combo was appreciated.

Very dark interior, terrible service, overall not a great experience. There were a few great food items, such as the lettuce chicken wraps - but I've seen everything from the menu at a cheaper, local Asian restaurant without having to pay for the overhead. The drinks were pretty good (vodka cranberry), and my inebriation helped with the overall dissatisfaction with my meal.

*My last review for 2014* We came to PF Chang's for my mom's bday, after going to about 3 other restaurants with long wait times. I honestly couldn't believe how many folks were out last night and in restaurants. But I guess it was the night before NYE so that's probably why. Spicy Hunan fish. I only had a small bite because sometimes I'm not in the mood for fish, but since I would be writing this review I figured that I should give it a try. I thought it was pretty good. To me it had a very fishy taste, yes I know its fish, but it was good with the spices. Coconut curry veggies- So... friggin'...good. I love coconut mixed with anything, so I was quite pleased. It came with tofu, carrots, tomatoes, mushrooms, bok choy, red peppers and peanuts. The veggies were fresh and a good size. I can't stand ordering a dish with pieces of food that are bigger than my mouth, and I have a big mouth, but I guess that's why there was the invention of the knife. MA PO tofu- Spicy garlic-red chili sauce with crispy tofu mixed with steamed broccoli. This was a tasty dish too. I would consider myself a tofu whore (I've had my fair share), and this is good tofu. The red chili sauce adds perfect flavor. Garlic Noodles- Egg noodles tossed with garlic and chili pepper flakes. Really good. They are served in a bed of shredded cucumbers that help cut some of the spicy flavor and add a slight crispiness. That's all we ordered this time. We don't eat red meat or pork, and I don't eat chicken, so I thought that the menu had plenty of vegetarian options which I respected. Well folks. I hope this review finds you in good spirits and slight hunger. Happy New Year to all! Other notes: -Great Happy Hour -All of the above dishes (except the garlic noodles) come with either white or brown rice. -The portions were plentiful for two people and enough for next day lunch or dinner. -Parking in the garage is validated- make sure you bring your ticket with you. -If you are calling and ordering takeout, they will give you an exact time pick up time.

P.F. Changs is P.F. Changs. You like it or you don't. But these five stars are for Israel the Manager, who was attentive, helpful and overall awesome. So much so that I felt compelled to review a P.F. Changs. Thanks Israel!

I had an intense craving for Chinese. A year ago I had their lunch version of King Pao Scallops and it was so delicious so I decided to try it again. Their customer service is excellent! Our waitress was a darling and was extremely accommodating. I had asked for a dish they apparently got rid of and they were able to make it for me. The only downfall of this visit was the food was too salty - perhaps it was the sauce but it just didn't sit well after. Other than that, I mean it's over all delicious and I would definitely come back!

Customer service is always good, but today I saw only 1/3 of occupancy and ordered a Pad Thai and the food came out after 35 minutes and the waiter pretended as nothing happened until I brought the issue up. They first said the place was busy as an excuse then quickly apologized and gave a 50% discount on the food. Other than that, food is always great and the place is kept clean all time. Would go back again.

Went here as a dinner on a Saturday night before going out as a Bachelorette Party. Made a reservation for a table of 6, told them it was 6 ladies and for a Bachelortte Party dinner & the man offered to put us at a circle table closer to the back so we could have our fun & not be around too many families which was great of him. Our waitress was EXCELLENT (wish i could remember her name).. she was very friendly and attentive to our table. She didnt mind taking pictures for us, she was just great! A few of the other employees came to the table to congratulate the Bride To Be which was nice & the manager came by a few times to make sure everything was good. One of the girls in our party didnt order anything off the menu for personal reasons & the manager tried to accomidate her suggesting special dishes that could be made but she was fine with waiting to grab something quick for herself after. One of the girls at our table made a joke that if they could get some french fries somehow she would love those and the manager laughed & said he could see what he could do. No later then 5 minutes later our waitress came back with a plate of hot french fries & we all couldnt believe it! The manager told us they have a good relationship with the cheesecake factory next door & he got the fries there. Now that is going ABOVE & beyond customer service! I have never heard of anything like that happening anywhere. Talk about taking care of your customers, that manager did what it took to assure all of us were happy. Such an awesome expirience here & all of us will recommend this PF Changs location!!! Excellent food, atmosphere, & beyond excellent customer service. Great start to our night, VERY HAPPY.

Food was good. Service was abysmal. Had to ask 4 WAITERS FOR SOY SAUCE TO GO WITH OUR SUSHI !!!! We were there after the lunch rush (small crowd) and they rushed to give us the bill but took another 15 minutes to bring it back.

This review is based on a foodler delivery - I ordered a 6 piece pork dumpling (which was $10 by the way) and received 4 shrimp dumplings.... I HATE shrimp and 10 dollars for 4 dumplings? Are we joking?? My husband received a $20 chicken dish which came with so little chicken that there was only one layer of chicken (each piece could have rested comfortably on the bottom of the standard takeout tray without touching any other piece of chicken) no rice, no veggies, nothing else except some stray chicken. Needless to say, we will NOT give our business to this joke of a restaurant again.

.......lets see.......this was my 1st visit to pf changs and I wasn't impressed. The rave about the chicken lettuce wraps is why I went, but honestly they were nothing to write home about. I ordered the chicken lo mein and it LOOKED absolutely delicious, but it tatsed like pure mush. Never in my life have I had lo mein so ugh. I really don't know how else to describe it. I picked through for the chicken because that was the only edible part of the meal. No return for me.

I took some of my customers to lunch today and was appalled by what I observed to be a complete systemic failure. If I ran your brand I would shut down the Cambridge, MA location TODAY for a complete staff re-tool. And I would fire the guy who was the MOD. He was ineffectual and absent. The boot. Upon entering right around 12:30 the restaurant was half empty, I was surprised, then I quickly figured out why. There was a table with a couple of mothers dining with their high-chair aged children. While I contend that it is absolutely bad-form for a parent to let the "baby-debris" fall where it may and then leave the mess for service staff to clean up (that's what happened) it is far worse for the entire staff of a restaurant to ignore the mess and not bus the table for almost an hour after the party left. I sat and looked at that filthy table, and another next to us for an hour. The manager and the staff lacked any pride in their work. Zero sense of urgency could be detected, and no one seemed to know how to run or operate a retail restaurant. At one point, and this was the only time we saw the manager, the manager ran a tray of food from the kitchen to a table next to the empty and filthy baby- debris table, unloaded the tray, then took an empty tray back into the kitchen. The table remained unbussed for our entire visit. I witnessed one table get up with their check to pay and another simply get up and leave after waiting for 10 minutes to see a server. The use if table numbers and/or seating positions seemed to be a lost concept. Every dish that came out, the runner had to ask "who had the soup, who had the water?" One of my guests ordered a glass of wine, only to learn that it had been 86'd. The waiter was unable to suggest an alternative, so he selected something else. The rest of our table's wine arrived and we waited for the 4th before we could enjoy. The replacement wine came 30 minutes later. After our entrees, I know this because I asked the runner about the wine and he didn't seem to comprehend what I was asking. And If you didn't catch that, our entree ticket time was more than 25 minutes. Food Quality: Egg Soup was brown and inedible. Gelatinous and not unlike aspic. Beef Sichuan- less than 1-2 oz of beef. All celery and carrot. Served with brown rice, we ordered white. Orange Chicken- served with white rice, we ordered brown. Dessert no thank you. We were done. Because I was there with customers it would have been bad form to say a word but I could tell they were unimpressed. Your restaurant made me and my efforts look bad, but at least I'll have another shot with my people. This location will not have another shot at my business. All that said, the Burbank, CA location is my home location. I have never had anything but terrific food and service there.

PF Changs is now like the Applebees of Chinese food. A few years ago, I'd go to one when I could find it. Now I think any random carryout place would be just as good. Think about it, you can buy their crappy food frozen at any grocery store and heat it at home. Hopefully you're not expecting that they're doing anything more than that in the restaurant. It certainly would be surprising if they are...

With this PF Chang's location I should have taken heed to first impressions. A few months back we tried to eat here, yet when we came in there was no host to be found and the restaurant was completely empty, so we left. We tried again here and should not have bothered. First we ordered the calamari appetizer and dumplings. We were then informed after a wait that the restaurant was out of both appetizers. Next, we tried to order the Korean chicken "lollipop", but despite having this item listed on the menu and a picture on the front cover of the menu, the waitress told us they stopped serving this dish two weeks ago. We really did not appreciate the lack of actual food and back and forth it took just to order some appetizers. We ended up ordering the ahi crisps and spring rolls. The spring rolls were quite greasy, but the ahi crisps were not too bad. My Singapore noodle dish was drenched in soy sauce and was entirely too salty. My boyfriend's orange chicken dish was better though. What really made this location a one star was the amount of time it took for our food/check to come out. It definitely seemed like the restaurant was understaffed even though it was not busy.

Food was very tasty, but service was very slow. Came late on a Thursday evening in a party of 3 and there were only a few other tables around us, but it took a solid 10 minutes before anyone came by (not even waters on the table yet). After we ordered, we were again surprised by the wait time, especially given the fact that the place wasn't that busy. Around 30 minutes passed before our food showed up, and they brought out the appetizer with everything else instead of before the entrees. Not sure how long the table next to us had been there before us, but after they finished their appetizer, they waited a good 10-15 minutes before their main entrees arrived, so the slow service was not unique to us. The dishes we had (chicken lettuce wraps, walnut shrimp with melon, singapore street noodles, spinach with garlic, shanghai cucumbers) were definitely tasty, and the walnut shrimp came with a pleasantly surprisingly large amount of shrimp, but probably not worth the wait.

On my hunt for decent/tasty garlic, per google, my search took me here to PF's in which was my 1st experience with the chain. I've heard mixed reviews so it was a plus to finally try it out. I must say... it was ehhh!! My intentions were to come in, order take out, while having a drink or two during the wait. The couple of drinks that I did have, like the rum colada & mojito which were ok... just that though, but a dollar or two over priced. The bar was clean, and even had a friendly visit from a spider... so I gave it a high five :/ It was a rare moment but I wouldn't put it against the place, cause it really was clean. Next of course was the food, in which the garlic noodles seemed more greasy and less scented of garlic. Also I had the chicken orange peel in which the sauce tasted generic and really didn't hold up to the price but was edible. Let's say this, if I had a gift card, I'll go back to give them another shot but as of now, I have no drive to return. It's slightly over-priced, and over-hyped for a place that the food didn't match the "upscale" persona.
I placed an order through Foodler, so maybe it was their fault. I ordered three things. The chicken with cashews and almonds was good. The orange rind beef was orange rind chicken (wrong item) and the $10+ eggplant had about half a container of eggplant (9 pieces). So, 2/3 of my order was wrong. Also, the sauces listed on the receipt was a no-show. So, either PF Changs cheated me, or the driver picked up the wrong order and then ate 3/4 of the eggplant. I doubt I will use PF Changs or Foodler again. Sorry

I'm a huge fan of this PF Chang's location. I find most mall locations overcrowded and poorly serviced; however this location is the exception. It's in a very convenient spot close to the T and right next to the CambridgeSide Galleria. Parking there is much more reasonable than most places around Boston. The food is excellent and the service is by far the best of any P F Chang's I've been too. Drinks come quick from the bar and the food comes quickly as well. Overall it's a great experience and one I'm happy to repeat!

Like many other reviewers, I've been to other PF Chang's locations and even this one once before, and they've all been decent. (Note: Speaking as a Chinese person, as long as you don't come here expecting the real thing, you won't be disappointed - usually.) My husband and I had some gift cards to use, so we chose to come here. I'd have to say that... we've had better. It had been over a year since we had dined at this location, so I'm not sure if this change was a one-time occurrence or the result of a decline. The quality of the food was very inconsistent and not as good as the last time we had been there. We ordered: - crispy honey shrimp (very small portion size, weird fried taste left in my mouth) - Chinese 5 spice duck 2 ways (not very flavorful and the 5 spice seasoning was minimal) - white rice (under cooked) If I could give a 2.5 star rating, I would. It's not that we weren't able to eat the meal - because we did - but it just didn't seem worth the cost of the dishes.

We were craving Cheesecake Factory on our way back from a weekend trip, and needed dinner as well (we only believe in getting cheesecake at CF). Enter: P.F. Chang. It's been about 10 years since I've eaten at le China Bistro; back in the early college days this place was considered this fine dining (this was back in Chicago when we frequented the multi-level downtown location with a swanky vibe). Clearly, my tastes have grown since then. Regardless, there are a few staple items on the menu that really can't go wrong. Knowing we were going to be indulging in cheesecake later, we kept it simple. Lettuce wraps, pork dumplings, calamari, and shrimp fried rice. We could've done without the calamari. I had one strip and didn't want to waste any more stomach room on something so underwhelming. As I sipped on my ginger beer waiting for the food to arrive, I read other yelp reviews and was rather entertained. The bad reviews are pretty accurate. For instance, when we walked in, despite a rather empty dining room, there was a long line at the hostess stand. I heard her tell someone it was a 15 minute wait. The bar was completely empty, so we sat there and got served right away. It was obvious they didn't have the staff to serve the whole dining room, which is a bit of a red flag. Also, the bathrooms were atrocious. I didn't go in the men's room, but my partner did (we had just spent five hours in the car). From what I saw (and smelled) of the ladies' room, I can imagine it was comparable, if not worse. Also, when we ordered the lettuce wraps the bartender pulled out the sauces, already in cups, from behind the bar and set them in front of us. It was unclear whether these were used by other diners or not, or maybe because it was so slow she had pre-poured the sauces in anticipation of someone ordering lettuce wraps at the bar... Kind of sketchy. And gross. On the bright side, the bartender was pretty attentive and friendly. Our food came without too much of a wait, and we were satisfied. On the other hand, I don't really foresee this location staying open too much longer, as it seems like a bit of a waste for the chain. Maybe there are other nights when they have a full staff and dining room. But I probably won't be back to see for myself.

My friend who was a longtime PF Chang's customer got severe food poisoning from here! Management was not accommodating, to phrase it mildly.

Okay, I know people love to hate on PF Chang's, and sure, you probably can find better Pan Asian at All Season's Table in Malden. But have you tried their crab rangoons? Rangoons where crab is not just a teasingly hinted at, like vermouth whispered into a martini, or crab spelled with a K, but actually real crab, abundantly featured. It may sound like a low standard, but how many other places with real incredible crab rangoons can you think of?

Looking for slightly fancy Chinese food? That plays sports games on TV all day? And has A GLUTEN FREE MENU? YES! This is your place. The Cambridgeside Galleria location has parking in the garage, which is nice. It took a while for them to get our food to us when we were there last time, but the food was good, and was substantial enough in quantity for us to take home leftovers for another meal. I think our meal was $32 (GF street noodles, one appetizer, and a seafood dish with no drinks). Well worth it.

Ok so here goes... I have been hearing things about PF Changs for years... I had such high expectations for my first time... So let me start from the beginning... Several months back I got a gift card from somthing or other I dont remember and I always keep saying we should go but I have looked on the website and saw the prices & thought Ooh Its not soo worth it (the Gift Card was $25) So this week I got an email to save 15% for "Tax Special Day", so we decided that this was going to be the day to try them out... so knowing me & the foodie I am, I was online reading the menu at 10am... So I go online around 730 from my car on the mobile app (which I must say was SOO EFFICIENT - you just couldnt customize certain things on the app), set the pick up time for 800... Off I go to pick up our delish food for the night... We ordered: 1. Chicken Lettuce Wraps 2. Crab Wontons 3. Salt & Pepper Calamari 4. Sesame Chicken 5. Mongolian Beef 6. Fried Rice (Beef) 7. Buddha's Feast (No Tofu) So I get there & love that there is the little parking space for take out... It was just emptying as I pulled in so I was excited this was a good sign... Get inside & the food isnt ready... Well I was there 2-3 minutes before 8, but still waited much longer than that... Got my discount & used my giftcard & was psyched that I was only dishing out around $30... I waited about 10 minutes which wasnt that bad had I not been able to pick out what actual time I was going to pick it up online! I must say the ambiance of the play was kinda cool if you like eating in the dark, the music was super funky & I was actually kinda digging it as I waited... So food comes, I leave, get home & there is food missing... I was soo bummed, just even seeing the food disappointed me... Unlike other places where you get tons of sauces and other items, there wasnt much for sauces here... Im a huge Dunker (Thai is my fave & love all my sauces)... The Sesame Chicken was missing, so I call back & they were super apologetic but still I was very disappointed... Felt better the Mgr told me she would take it & another app off the bill... so that made me feel better... The portions just werent what I had hoped, they werent really that big at all... There were only 3 pieces of lettuce in the lettuce wraps which was disappointing... The Mongolian Beef & Veggies were all delish & I love that you get Rice with every plate thats a huge plus... The Wontons werent what you would expect if you are a standard Crab Rangoon fan but I liked them 9the bf didnt - they were almost No cheese)... The wraps were ok but Im still partial to the Cheesecake's so nothing tops theirs! The fried rice was blah... The calamari tasted like Burger King french fries & thats what they looked like... We had all made our plates & then I got pissed that I didnt take pics... Dumb me!!! All in all the food was good but for the price & portion I prolly wont frequent but the service was decent (to go service) and then the Mgr compensating me well made up for it...

We love PF Chang and so we decided to have dinner in the one in Cambridge plaza. the restaurant is conveniently located close to a big Mall, e walk distance from the river. Although the inner is not as stylish as others we ve seen, we like very much the food and the service.

We brought the family to the restaurant for a quick cdinner knowing we needed to eat but wondering if we could make it through another sit down meal. We were in Boston for the weekend, took the kids to Blue Man Group and had them in Harvard Square for the afternoon. My son was off schedule and had been giving us a run for our money while our daughter suffered through. We were tired and just wanted the day to be over. Somehow, without saying much, the manager took us under his wing. He sat us quickly, joked around with us and just brightened our evening in a way we didn't expect. So thank you to the manager (host) from Saturday night February 21, 2015. You brought us a little sunshine in your own special way. Naturally, the delicious food and awesome waitress was just a bonus.

I went to lunch with some ladies from work on a weekday at noon. I would never come back during work hours. The place was not busy at all, infact it was pretty empty, but the food took forever!!!!!!! Even the starters, soup and salad, took ages. Seriously, how long does it take to ladle some soup in a bowl and plunk some salad on a plate? Then the actual food took quite a while too. We were there an hour and a half. Good thing nobody wanted to stay for dessert! The service was friendly enough and the food was fine. Definitely not a place I would choose to come back to though, even if I did have a lot of time.

Ummm OK. I've never been curious about PF Chang's, but my girlfriend (who might be more Asian than me) was, so we went to try it. Expectations were low, and they just about matched up to what was expected. Brags (+): The service was great. Our server was very helpful and pleasant. Oh, and they did validate our parking! That was good. Beats (-): We ordered spicy green beans, pepper steak... and some sort of chicken. Everything was salty like a mother. It was like they had a special sauce made with 1 part chili and 4 parts salt that they ladled onto everything. My tongue was sending out a warning signal straight to my kidneys to get ready for that huge sodium load. The food itself was not bad, but it wasn't really anything you couldn't get at a regular Chinese take-out place for half the price and twice the portion. I was also at least hoping for somewhat of a fusion menu... Chinese food with a Western twist? But it looked like it was pretty much a generic Americanized Chinese food menu. Variance (~): Fortune cookie desserts... meh. At least they took the authentically unauthentic Chinese experience to the full extent?

This is a review of the management and staff and the way they handled a special occasion dinner for 15. I told the manager it was mom's 85th birthday when I made the reservation. When we arrived, there was a bouquet of flowers and a birthday card from the staff at her place. The service was quick and attentive with enough servers for the number of people. When we left they gave her PF Chang gift cards. Sure the floor is sticky and the food is okay, but when it comes to people, they were the best. I will go back and thank them.

Absolutely worst food. Should have given 0 stars. From a takeout order, we just had to throw everything in trash: Spring rolls - dripping oil, the oil was very old and had a bad odour. Pad thai - No taste, it was just boiled pasta with peanuts and some vegetables. Probably they forgot to put salt and sauce in there. Fried rice: There were lumps of white rice, no taste and lots of huge boiled broccoli crowns. Other bad: The order was 20 minutes later than their promised time. Good: The waitress greeted and talked nicely and also offered me a drink during wait. I have visited many P F Chang's in other locations and in different states. This is by far the worst. Don't suggest this place and will never visit here.

Typical PF Changs as far as food is concerned. Everything was good and fresh tasting except the rice as it was clumped together and dry. The staff was very friendly and timely.

We arrived for an early lunch on a weekday. My BF and I were the only patrons since they had just opened. We were promptly greeted, seated and our drink order taken. We took a few minutes with the menus and placed our order. THEN the fire alarm went off -- my BF was in the men's room. I looked around and the staff barely flinched and didn't even look toward our table. The alarm was PIERCING as if knives were being stabbed into my eardrums. No one was alarmed AT ALL. None of the staff approached our table or tried to get us to safety. I approached the Host and asked what was going on. He was completely non-chalant about it and it should stop in a few minutes. Did not offer any information or concern for us. We promptly left. The staff handled the whole situation quite poorly.

I have been to Pf Changs at the prudential, and park plaza. I am very satisfied with both, but the cambridge Pf Changs has a thing of its own going on lol ! Just go and look for yourself ! Caution.....food may not taste as good as it's supposed to, and service may seem like McDonalds ! I really had high expectations from this upscale location.

One of my favorite chains! Order the chicken lettuce wraps as a starter. So, one thing I've noticed about PF Chang's is that a lot of the experience depends on the server you get. I have always had great service at this location, great food. If you can handle eating at a chain in Cambridge, this one's worth a go.

I am surprised to see a low overall rating for this P.F. Chang's . I have been to a lot of P.F. Chang's in many states and I was very pleased by the service I received at this location. Every staff member was friendly and helpful. The restaurant was clean and well organized. A manager greeted my table a few moments after we sat down, explaining our server would be with us in a moment and took our order. The server was very knowledgeable and suggested we order appetizers during since we were there during the happy hour. I had a small issue with some dumplings coming out that were not completely cooked. We noticed before we took a bite. When we told our server she immediately apologized and removed them from the table. A manager brought out the replacement dumplings and was also apologetic. They were removed from my bill without me even having to ask.

See my other PF Chang (Baltimore location) review--I like this chain. I've been to 4-5 locations, and this one was abysmal. Maybe it was Sunday and there were few patrons (though I went to PF in Towson, MD under similar circumstances and had an exceptional experience), maybe it was a new chef, or probably it was just bad. The portions on the Crispy Honey Shrimp and Chang's Lettuce Wrap were far less than I have ever received (and I've eaten these dishes many, many times) which was insulting since we were paying dinner prices during lunch. The food came out slower than at any other PF location. And all this is really alright, but the crispy honey shrimp I received was this disgusting dark brown color, not the typical golden color. It was oversauced, undercrisped, and despite the small portion I was unable to stomach finishing the dish. Just awful. Do not come here. The Back Bay location is great and typical of PF quality.

The food here is not very good. The food we got was overcooked and not very flavorful at all. The location downtown is much better. My wife and I were surprised how bad the food was compared to what we are used to at the downtown location. Maybe our expectations were high but we left disappointed.

I don't mind P.F. Chang's the chain (its one of the ones I tolerate). But this is the worst one I've ever visited. Its somehow not on the same level as others. And where is the freaking giant horse! This place is an impostor!

I went here last night for dinner with my boyfriend. Not terribly busy for a Friday night, the wait was only about 20 minutes, true to their word. There was a big group coming in, but the staff was friendly and still paid attention to us. Our server, John, was friendly and attentive. The GM came around twice to check on our meal and how we were doing. We did the fixed menu special, which I think is definitely worth the money. I highly recommend the chicken lettuce wraps, egg drop soup, Mongolian beef and crispy honey shrimp. The interior has pretty low lighting, but it is a nice ambiance.

I've been hearing about P.F. Chang's for the 4 years I've been in Boston but have always opted for the much easier option of take-out. When my friend's family offered to take me out to dinner there I couldn't turn it down. I can't really describe the food/service as anything besides slightly below average and not what I was expecting. The moo goo gai pan I ordered was no better than the local take-out place. It wasn't bad at all, just not what I was expecting. Some of the people I were with did love their meals though, maybe I just made the wrong choice? What really brought dinner down was the waitress. She was unfriendly, and ignored my multiple requests for water throughout the meal. She forgot to bring out a side dish, then brought it out after the meal was already finished. The saving grace of the meal for me was the dessert shots! These were sooo good and I love when restaurants offer them because they are the perfect amount of dessert. Still, a Chinese restaurant shouldn't have to rely on it's chocolate and red velvet cake for a good review.

On a Tuesday night, this PF Chang's was crazy busy! Possibly its small space allows it to fill up quickly. There was a 30 minute wait by 6:30 PM! My colleagues and I popped in for drinks and ended up staying for dinner. Our nicely heated bar corner was comfy enough to fit 5-6, but really made for 4. The beer choices are mildly okay for any chain restaurant, but I was sad to see there was no Asahi! Their ginger beer offering (ginger extract with Kirin Light) was refreshing and sweet ... the ginger taste could be overpowering to some. I opted for Sam Winter in a bottle. All of these beers were $4. Not terrible. For dinner/apps we got the chicken quesadiller (you're not supposed to call it that), veggie chow fun, chicken lettuce wraps, and garlic noodles ... My noods were definitely sitting under the heater for a while coz the top part was all crusty. But I attribute their business to the bad timing on preparing the noods. Can't beat 'em though: 6.75 for a filling bowl of noodles and shredded cukes. The other food looked pretty good, too. Actually, at lunch, their combos are also extremely generous and nicely priced (about $8!) as well, and come with egg drop or hot and sour soup. Finally, another food establishment in the Kendall-Lechmere zone of Cambridge!

I know every one wants to give PFC grief for serving American Chinese food - so what? They have good gluten-free and vegetarian options and are good with service and drinks for families. If I can get good quality Veggie LoMein and Veggie stirfry, why not go here. The spring rolls are good and the desert is not bad.

PF Chang's, always a classic for gluten free Asian. The location is nice and clean inside. The staff was average. I had ordered the gluten free Dahi Chicken and it was a bit dry and cold. They could have done better.

Boo. Disappointing. I'm not expecting authenticity, but I am expecting that things aren't overcooked. At least the lettuce rolls are tasty and the chocolate cake was good. Scallops were hard, rubbery and super spicy and the shrimp was no bueno as well. And I thought the hot and sour soup tasted like beef stew and the egg drop tasted like chicken noodle. Fried calamari gets ZERO stars. NASTY and there was no flavor at all. Verrrrrrry interesting!

Food is always really yummy !! My only concern is the the waitress . She forgot our silver wear , napkins, and It took over 10 minutes for my boyfriend to get another beer. Every time we come to this location theres always some kind of issue . But she was sweet and apologized . For a nice place like that II would think they would be more trained ... because the table next to us was complaning as well . just letting you know !

Standard Chinese food that is slightly overpriced. The Chicken Lettuce wraps are obviously great, but the entrees are no better than your local take-out joint and they cost quite a bit more. Only major complaints were the overcooked shrimp in my lo-mein and the RIDICULOUSLY WEAK cocktails. If you're charging $9 for a mai tai you better make sure it's more than pineapple juice like mine was!

For some reason, I think I'm supposed to slam P.F. Chang's, but I can't. I went for a solo lunch today, and everything was as delicious and wonderful as I remember it (hadn't been in several years). I thought I remembered liking the food at P.F. Changs a lot, and I DO! I had the orange-chile sliced beef- DELICIOUS, and my server, Mark, was fabulous! Love the "special sauce" demo thing they do at the beginning of your meal. Nice atmosphere, nice surroundings, good food, pleasant attentive service- what more could one ask for?

wow what a horrible P.F Chang's location. Nothing tasted the way its supposed to taste. The service was HORRIBLE omg unbelievably horrible, it was dead night for them but we literally had to get up and go looking for our waiter when we needed him. Corporate really needs to look into this location.

Whoa. I was pretty surprised by the low reviews here. I definitely had a good meal here, and I do love P.F. Chang's because of their allergen menus. Granted, the guy could not do a no dairy and no egg menu combined for some reason (that was probably his own ineptitude, since I've had that done at another location), but he gave me the two separate so I could contrast them. The server was friendly enough, and he put up with my lame, awkward jokes, which is definitely a plus in my book. I ordered what has become my P.F. Chang's standby since, which is the lettuce wraps with tofu and the ma po tofu. One friend I was with who is certainly not a meat-eater tried the tofu (which he is normally very averse to), and said it was decent, which means something. The half-Taiwanese-spent-lots-of-childhood-years-Âliving-in-Beijing boyfriend said the ma po tofu was pretty good, too, which also means something. He was also pretty happy that he could get some kind of Chinese beer there. I have no idea what it was. So, yes, I am biased because they are very accommodating to food intolerances / allergies, but I really do not understand why other people have had such bad experiences here. Maybe I'm totally naive or too tolerant or something. I don't know.

So Ive never been to this place. I see it everywhere and now in the freezer section of the supermarket. A friend invited me out after going to see the hangover part 2. Just like the movie, it left me thinking what a waste of money... We started with the hot and sour soup which tasted very jelly like. Like there wasn't enough water mixed into their "soup concentrate" (I figured before I stepped into the place that nothing here would be made fresh). We had the lettuce wraps which were OK. We also had the dumplings. Also OK. We then ordered the orange peel beef, kung pow shrimp, dan dan noodles and spicy green beans. The orange peel beef was pretty tasty. I thought.. ok, so maybe the meal would get better... nope. The kung pow shrimp was crazy almost inedible salty. It had way too much kung pow paste or whatever they use on those poor frozen shrimp. The dan dan noodles were overcooked and slid right off your fork, it definitely reminded me of cafeteria spaghetti. The green beans weren't bad! kinda overcooked and limp but still kinda tasty. We needed water. BAD. the waitress was never around even though the place was pretty empty. This place would have gotten a 1 star from me had it not been for their banana spring rolls. They were cooked perfectly with vanilla ice cream and fresh berries. That alone brought it up a whole star. Would I go back? Sure but only for the banana spring rolls. The price was WAAAAAAY too high for such poor quality food. I would have had a much better meal ordering take out from my local hole-in-the-wall chinese restaurant. Save your money and go somewhere else.

I can't review the food because we didn't get to eat. We walked in after shopping on a Saturday at 3:30. It was pretty empty. Like honestly a few people at the bar and maybe 7-9 tables max. I asked for a table for 2 people. The guy looked at us and said 15-20 minute wait! I asked why?!? The place is empty. The hostess next to him rolled her eyes and was like you don't have wait if you don't want to. So I said ok we will leave and go somewhere else. The guy host called after us have a good day in a very rude tone. Like extremely mind blowingly rude. This was my first time here. And now I garuntee my last. Cannot believe this place makes money. Wish I didn't have to a star at all. Even 1 is being generous.

For a chain, this restaurant is pretty solid. It was a hot day and I wanted something fairly light. I decided on the Asian shrimp salad, which the menu describes as a refreshing mix of grilled shrimp and juicy watermelon tossed in a light citrus dressing. It was exactly what I was looking for! The salad was great! The shrimp were perfectly cooked (although not necessarily cleaned perfectly) and the watermelon was juicy and refreshing. The service was also very attentive and polite. When we ordered our server asked if we had any food allergies they should be aware of. She had also ordered an extra order of dumplings by mistake and so she brought them out and asked if we'd like to try them - on the house! Even though they weren't the best dumplings I've ever tasted, they were good and it was a nice bonus!

PF changs chain food =good service at this location = not so great I'm a fan of PF Chang's (even though the asian in me tells me I shouldn't be but I would never say its' authentic chinese), but this place has bad service. I have been there twice. The first time was the worst with bad service. We didn't even get spoons to grab the food and the food was didn't have the same flavor as it should. Second time was ok which bumped them upto two stars. Food was very good but the service still needed help. We had to wait an extra 20-30 mins even though we had reservations. It was cold and the party of 15 was not happy.

This is going to be difficult to review. I'm a notoriously picky eater. I'm not talking about quality of food. I'm not talking about healthiness of food. I talking about specific foods. Mostly, anything that comes from the ground. There are a few exceptions and I am try to branch out, but sometimes it's just not gonna happen. I went with some coworkers for a team lunch. There was no wait and we were sat very quickly. We had a few apps for the table. I tried them but due to my proclivities, I wasn't trilled. I'm not taking anything away for that as it's my issues and not theirs. The entree though, I went with something I thought to be a "safe" food for me. The crispy honey chicken served on a bed of white (or brown rice). I thought the glaze was OK and the portion of chicken was appropriate. The waitress did as well as a one expects on a weekday lunch shift. She took the order, brought out the food, did her check back but didn't ever go above or leave any sort of impression for me to comment on, but then again, I don't think I would have either. Yeah, "Meh." about covers it.

Met some people here for after work drinks. Around 5:30pm it was dead, then by 7:30 when we left, it was a full house. I was surprised for a weeknight they were so busy. I saw the less then stellar reviews so was glad it was just drinks and some apps. We sat at the bar section which was small and had some extra high tops off the the side. After getting the regular menu, I asked the server about a bar/happy hour menu since I saw one online. She said they were still working on getting one. They've been open for almost three months I think, I wonder why the delay... We decided to go with the spring rolls and split an entree of Mongolian beef, which was highly recommended by the server. The rolls arrived first. 4 plump rolls with dipping sauce. They were soaked in grease. I had to use a few napkins to take the excess oil off each one. Not great. The grease dripping out of each bite turned me off. The Mongolian beef was better. It had some flavor. I would say the portion of beef to green onion was about equal. I felt like I was eating more onion then beef. It also came with a small bowl of rice. For $15 it was one of the pricier menu options, I wonder if that's why it was recommended. The server was quick to get drinks which I found weak with a lot of ice. Wines were reasonably priced. Atmosphere was typical of other PF Changs. The mall area has only chain restaurants to eat at. I would avoid the mall and go to Dante across the street next time.

I was dragged here for a holiday lunch against my will seeing as I despise the other locations I had visited (see my other two reviews). There was no real change at this spot only it was in a different area, crammed into Cambridge. To boot this location is failry new from what I heard. I am not sure what it is with Changs, but they must not train their staff at new locations. This was one of the slowest and most difficult meals to get through for no apparent reasons. The wait staff was lost and just dazed at how to handle the foot traffic coming in and when finally seated it took forever to even get waited on. It is not like these are complicated dishes to make either seeing the food is not even worth waiting for. By the time the order reached us, we were over hungry and wishing we went somewhere else. I never did tell my colleagues I told you so since I did warn them about my past experiences with Changs. When thinking of this place, skip it and head over to Harvard Square and grab a quicker meal that tastes better!

Went to this location tonight for my best friends Birthday. I have to say I had phenomenal service tonight. The restaurant was packed and we felt as if we were the only people there. Troy and Danielle both Managers introduced themselves and made sure our experience was out of this world. Honestly the best part was our waiter Percy!!! I will now call ahead to see if he's working before I go there to dine. Troy and Danielle are very lucky to have such an understanding and personable waiter. Percy is an absolute Gem!!!! Thanks for a wonderful experience Rayschell

I would rather give 1.5 stars, but I can't get it to work. The bottom line is that this place is just OK. I've had food court Chinese food when I've felt more satisfied. PF Chang's is for individuals who enjoy REALLY Americanized Chinese food in an upscale atmosphere. On the plus side: the menu was VERY kid friendly. But oh, the minuses: 1) The food was bland. In fact my fish dish, which had a very nice-sounding description, was barely distinguishable from Orange/General Gau's chicken. It literally had less fish than a fish stick. And the house rice reminded me of Rice-A-Roni - I'm serious. 2) The service was not bad as much as it was as bland as the meal. My food came out 4 minutes later than the people with whom I was dining. Furthermore, my nephew's chicken dish came with rice. His rice was served at the same time as my tardy meal; he had already completed his main course. 3) Hypertension - need I say more? Don't waste your money. Find someone in the know and go to China Town or, for the same money and somewhat better fare, try Changsho in Cambridge on Mass Ave.

What's this? Paparazzi's is no more and has turned into the all of a sudden ubiquitous chain PF Changs? How long ago did this happen? Well, on an all too infrequent trip into "the city" we were in search of some Asian delights and our indecision led us here as we were all familiar with it and liked it. Ah, the beauty and the curse of chains. PF Chang's seems to be one of those controversial restaurants that you either really enjoy or despise. I happen to be one of the ones who enjoys it. I've always thought the food was good, even if it isn't "authentic", and they make some tasty cocktails. I think I reviewed a PF Chang's elsewhere some time ago, so I won't go into specifics on the food, but I should mention that I very much enjoyed the $40 dinner special for two they were offering when I visited this location. There were three of us dining this night, but our server assured us that although for two, this special was really plenty to feed three. Just to be sure, we ordered a couple supplementary appetizers, which for us turned out to be the right choice, as we pretty much cleaned our plates by the end, but did not feel like we didn't have enough to eat. Even with the extra apps, I still thought it was a good deal. I was very impressed by the manager here and his dedication to making sure we were completely satisfied. It was a not-so-busy early evening when we were here, but for some reason, the service was on the slow side. Not so slow where I was going to start flagging someone down to complain, but we waited a little long for our food to come out. It happens, right? Well, this manager thought this was unacceptable and without any sort of complaints or prodding from us, he came over and apologized, offered us complementary dessert shooters, and took a decent portion off our bill. Excellent customer service there, he really went above and beyond what I might have expected had I raised an issue, but to take those actions when the customer hasn't even complained? I was surprised and impressed.

This is a great, great restaraunt which is why I am a regular. If you are looking for very nice quality food, drinks, and customer service this is the place for you!

This establishment does not deserve the 1 star review. The decor was OK. The service was actually not bad at all. The hot and iced teas were good. Nothing could have compensated for the lack of food quality at this place. The food here is not fresh. It has been frozen and thawed multiple times before it has been imperfectly cooked and put out on the table. Our chicken was a bit undercooked and ultimately tasteless. The "Hot and Sour Soup" is the worst that I've ever had, and I am not inflating this fact. It was a totally bland undesirable goop. There was nothing hot or sour about it. Nothing. I would strongly discourage anyone from visiting this place. I am getting a stomach ache just writing about it. Its bringing back bad taste in the mouth.

Yuck, Yuck and Yucky.... I've had food from here on three separate occasions and it was consistently bad. I feel so bad for the servers that work there, they are being treated horribly by the upper management. I have heard things are not going so well and people are quitting left and right . I think it might be time to get new Management and some Chefs who actually know how to cook. Don't waste your time, Cheesecake Factory is next door..eat there instead.

Superbowl Sunday~ perfect time to go to PF Changs with a group of 10 people. I don't even know why we bothered with reservations, the place was empty. Woohoo! But days like the Superbowl are one of the only times you won't have to wait in line on a weekend. Service- Quick and Friendly Food- We did the couple's menu deal. $40 for app, entree, and dessert shooter. Very good for the price! I honestly felt like the food was just pricey Chinese food. Nothing fabulous...but yeah sure I'll return.

Hit this place tonight with some co-workers from out of town. First visit to any branch of Changs so not sure how it compares to the others, but overall pretty good - 3.5 stars. - Small enough premises. I'd say it's only about 2/3 the size of the Cheesecake Factory next door. Long lines are likely to be a feature. By the time we left at 7pm there was about 15 people waiting - Food was v good - I had the almond & cashew chicken which was excellent and the gf had the sesame chicken also good. Portions were just about right - not the monster pile of food that chains often go for. - Service was very good considering this was their second full day open. They're still working on their game, but the people were friendly and helpful and didn't seem like they'd been programmed. - Reasonable enough - $44 for the two of us incl tip - partial appetizers, two dinners, 2 drinks and 1 dessert Overall, very good. I generally prefer locally-owned restaurants, but this is somewhere I'd go again

I only have one check in here, but I have been to this specific one at least 6 times. The first few times were great, but later trips became more and more disappointing. Maybe this is because I started out with apps, rice, and noodles and then started to migrate into dishes? Maybe it's because each time I go, at least one thing goes wrong, either with my meal, with service, or with wait times. So before I start naming off the bad stuff, I have to go with the good. In all fairness, I think the concept of the place is awesome and I have had more good times than bad here. The food, although generic and obviously chain-ified, is pretty good (usually). I love the apps (especially the chicken-lettuce wraps, the fried rices are some of the best I've ever had and their noodle dishes are always pretty tasty. Luckily for us New Englanders, when we think chinese food we automatically order enough apps, rice and drinks for the table and call it a night. With P.F. Changs, you can do this as well (although be it slightly different from the usually NE Chinese food-app style). I can honestly say this is the best way to utilize the place. Dishes: I've had some that are awesome and some that are bad. Honey Shrimp was tasty, Scallop dish excellent, and sesame chicken very tasty (although the "cubed" chicken kind of throws me off). Mongolian beef was also good. Chicken Cashew/Almond failed miserably this time. The sauce tasted almost metallic, and everyone that took a bite felt sick afterwards. We ordered it off the meal for two menu and while they took the dish back and took it off the bill, they proceeded to revert our order back to a single-order setup. If I'm paying $40 bucks for an app, 2 main dishes, 2 soups and 2 deserts; one of the main dishes is obviously bad and I send it back and ask for it to be taken off the bill, why is it that I am then charged full price for the remaining portion of my meal-for-two? How is it my fault that your dish tastes dirty? Any respectable place would have comped the entire meal-for-two. They literally itemized each piece and the charge ended up being almost $40 bucks anyways, less one main-dish. That is all I have to say about this joint. If I continue to go on, I'm just going to start getting pissed...

Oh how I wish i could give no stars. This review is on the service alone. The bf and I were finally able to go out on a real date and decide to go to PFC, what a mistake. We arrive at at 4:30pm on a Saturday and we are told by the lovely hostess it will be 40-50 minites. Ok we can wait. She hands us our buzzer and we head outside to wait. . . . And wait, and wait, and wait. Buuuuzzzzzzz an hour and 15 minutes later. As we make our way towards the crowded front desk I hand over my buzzer, beyond starving at this point. Lovely hostest: "I'm sorry but I had to give your table away." Me: "excuse me???" Lovely hostest: " you took too long to get here, I had to give your table away." Me: " are you kidding me? It took us like a minute to get through ur crowded waiting area!!!" Lovely hostest: "well we can give u the next table in about 15-20 minutes" Me: "my buzzer JUST went off!!" Manager comes at this point and and asks what's wrong, lovely hostest states she buzzed us several times and just "had to give the table away". I went on to explain buzzer only went off ONCE and it took us a minute to get through the crowd. Manager said he would get us the next table in 15-20 minutes!!!! Ummm one, but your the manager and can't do any better than your lying ass hostest??? Two, we've already waited longer than our original wait time, and three you want us to wait some more for some complete bullshit??? No thank you!!! We walked out and went next door and had a much better time at the cheesecake factory, review to come.......

Previously my review was negative. However, I went back last night and I was blown away, the service was amazing, wish I remembered the name of the person who served us, he was spot on and just friendly and informative, helpful, probably the best service I have received in my last 100 outings. Anyways, food was great, the chicken noodle soup was amazing, lettuce wraps always a big hit, the charred beef was great too. Overall I was impressed. One of the better dining experiences I have had in a while, thanks PF Changs and mystery server!

How is PF Chang's still in business? Well if the Olive Garden is, then I guess PFC's should be. Another theory is that it is one of the few Chinese restaurants run neither by the Chinese nor East Asians and therefore there is less of a "barrier" for ignorant types. I will say that the service is always polite and professional. The food is just not there yet. Recipes have not been perfected. Everything gets overcooked. The presentation of the dishes are just lazy. I don't expect radish rosettes but some organization would be nice. This location has some major draft issues. We were first sat in an area where we could feel a breeze even though we were farthest from the door. My mom got some coffee which went from hot to luke warm in about 2 minutes. We were all wearing our coats. We asked to be seated at another table and somehow it took ten minutes for them to re-seat us even thought the dining room was not even half full. It is a nice dining room though and the restrooms are worth a visit if you are in the area and need to go..

My boyfriend and I just returned to our hotel room after dining at PF Chang's in cambridge, MA. It was our first time at a PF Chang's restaurant and we were not sure what to expect. We were pleasantly surprised. We got a great table and excellent food, which we hardly had to wait for at all. What stood out the most was our waiter, Brian. He did an excellent job and provided us with some of the best service we have ever had. He offered us advice on the menu and managed to come over to our table at the perfect times to check on us. He checked on us frequently but was careful not to interrupt us when we were still deciding on the menus. He even kindly insisted on letting him clear the table when we tried to help him by stacking our dishes and cleaning up the silverware. We took our time with dessert and finishing our bottle of wine and and we did not feel rushed at all. Even though the restaurant was busy, he waited until we were done with our wine to offer us the check, if we were ready for it. The final touch was when we went to leave and he was already waiting at the door to hold it open for us to leave. Even after we had paid the bill he was still providing us with phenomenol hospitality.

AWFUL. At my previous job we would go out to lunch as a company every Friday and this particular Friday was my last day at the company so I was looking forward to a memorable lunch. Oh it was memorable, but for all the wrong reasons. This was my first (and last) PF Changs experience so I didn't really know what to expect. Granted, this particular location had only been opened for about a week when we went, but still. It took over an hour and a half for our food to get served. When it was served, it was cold & dry as if it had just been sitting out for an hour and someone forgot to serve it. Quite a few of our orders were incorrect as well, and it took them nearly another half an hour to correct them. They all seemed very disorganized and confused, and even the manager (I'm assuming he was one considering his suit) didn't know what to do. Gross, I'll never go back.

We went on a Saturday for an early dinner (we got there around 5ish) and the hostess told us the dining room was pretty busy but we could take a bar table if we'd like, which we did. It was a nice surprise to find out they had a happy hour from 3-6 every day. The dishes range from $3-$6 and we ordered exclusively from that. It was a great deal and we ended up with five appetizer sized dishes. Some were better than others. For instance, the spring rolls were nothing special and neither were the crab wontons (they were pretty tasteless). However, the dynamite shrimp was really good as was the vegetarian lettuce wrap. The happy hour menu is a good deal and has at least a few options for every price point. The food may not be authentic Chinese, but I know that and I'm not looking for that when I go there.

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.
Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.
There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.

Excellent food.

Ok...I go here cause my 5 year old likes the crispy honey chicken...I show up...Table for 3 please, that will be 30-40 minutes sir.

(2)Courtney B.

Stopped by last weekend for dinner. Got right in. Food was as expected. Moderately good, very fast coming out but didn't feel pressured to finish.
(3)Liz D.
They also have several signature drinks and a pretty diverse beer menu (for a chain anyway).

yeach ! dont go there manager is uselss service is worse food is full of sugar go to downtown pf chang where its much better
(1)Kara B.
Every now and again somebody I don't want to offend by saying "no" drags me to this place. Gloopy food, too sweet and too much cornstarch, with little taste. It's Chinese for the timid and tastebudless.
(1)Ken D.
Quantity seemed less than what we get at Pru and definitely not coooked as well. Server was rude. Never coming back.
(1)Jane R.
(1)Nicole K.
(1)Nan S.
The place is nice but inside is really cold. Great food. Great service. I ordered Pad Thai Chicken which is nice but I couldn't finish the whole plate. Plum wine is lovely too.
(4)Audrey P.
Good chain with a wide range of options and a really nice atmosphere (minus the noisy families, so forget about an intimate date). Food is good for sure, but don't go there if you want authentic Chinese food - everything is 'americanized'.
(3)Maximo A.
(3)Saba N.

I have always heard about P.F. Chang's, but being from NYC and not having a license forbade me from driving out to one of the locations in the Greater New York area. A friend of mine promised that he would feed us P.F. Chang's if we helped him move, and I was SOLD. I had wanted beef fried rice for over a month and went in knowing that this was going to order. For an appetizer, we all shared the chicken lettuce wrap. I don't know how I never knew these things existed, but it is perhaps the best chicken anything that I had in a while (aside from my dad's chicken empanadas, of course). After I left the restaurant, I was fully committed to writing a five star review for what was, admittedly, excellent service, and great food. The waiter joked with us about where we had just graduated from and let us know he had recently graduated from the Cordon Bleu. He was an awesomely charismatic person, who recommended dishes to us, joked around, and gave us some "insider secrets" about stuff at P.F. Chang's. The food was great, and I had enough to box and take home with me for dinner since the portion was HUGE. At this point, I understand that my 2-star review may not make a lot of sense, since I had an overwhelmingly positive experience at the restaurant. Unfortunately, I got severe food poisoning from the beef fried rice - and ate it twice in one day, which was perhaps not the best idea - which led to me being up until 3 in the morning and drinking tons of water to avoid dehydration. I wanted to go back. I really did.... but I was so uncomfortable for so many hours afterwards, I don't think I ever can. From my understanding - neither one of my friends got food poisoning from what they ate (none had the beef fried rice either), so I assume it was my entrée.

Average place to go for some Chinese food. Wouldn't go out of my way to eat here again but the food was decent.

(4)Kevin K.

Yummy! Needed a snack after a long flight to Boston. The staff were attentive! The food was outstanding as usual at P.F.Changs! We appreciated the quiet atmosphere after a long trip! The spicy shrimp was memorable!

(1)Nicole B.

Terrible service. I had to beg for everything, including the bill !! Most of people here don't have much choice for dining, so...
(1)Jane H.

This was my first time at PF Chang's! I never ate here before because I always thought if I wanted Chinese food, I would rather go to an authentic Chinese restaurant. However, I really enjoyed the food here. Authenticity is not a big issue for me. If the ingredients are fresh and the taste is good, then I am happy! I tried the chicken lettuce wrap. I like how they mix the chicken with water chestnuts and fried crispy rice noodles to give it a crunch. The sauce that they stir fry the chicken with is also super tasty! I also ordered the egg drop soup. The soup was wonderful. For entrées, I tried the shakin' beef and crispy honey shrimp. Both dishes were really good. The beef was cooked perfectly and I really liked the marinade. The shrimp was crispy, sweet, and savory. For carbs, I had the PF Chang's shrimp fried rice. The fried rice was made perfectly. Each grain of rice was surrounded with wonderful flavors! Although the food was great, the service doesn't make up for it. The server was pretty nice but everything was so slow! It took 5-10 minutes for our server to come to my table. Then it took another 10-15 minutes for him to get the drinks. The food also took forever to come too! I thought they had to get the beef from the farm and fish the shrimps from the sea because it took that long.

(5)Emily L.

(2)Erica S.
My friend who was a longtime PF Chang's customer got severe food poisoning from here! Management was not accommodating, to phrase it mildly.
(1)Michele H.
(4)Lauren E.

(4)Greg T.

Not even 1 star should be given. It's been two weeks and I still have yet to see my refund into my account. Ps- the manage was rude.

(2)Brian L.

(5)Nanjundi N.
(1)Mike J.
Typical PF Changs as far as food is concerned. Everything was good and fresh tasting except the rice as it was clumped together and dry. The staff was very friendly and timely.
(3)Becky M.

(1)Erin M.
(5)Apearl C.

(3)Mike D.
PF Chang's, always a classic for gluten free Asian. The location is nice and clean inside. The staff was average. I had ordered the gluten free Dahi Chicken and it was a bit dry and cold. They could have done better.
(2)Kelly C.
(2)Edna Z.
(3)Alex Z.
Food is absolutely yummy! Service is great as well, the manager Tom served our table himself , what can I say ? Gotta come back there again .
(4)Sean J.

(5)Alena K.
wow what a horrible P.F Chang's location. Nothing tasted the way its supposed to taste. The service was HORRIBLE omg unbelievably horrible, it was dead night for them but we literally had to get up and go looking for our waiter when we needed him. Corporate really needs to look into this location.
(1)Lauren M.
I don't know.

i have been here a few times after shopping at Cambridge Galleria. nice interior design, and nice Americanized Chinese food. I like the wonton soup very much.
(4)Vittney V.
(2)Alexis B.
(1)Lynne S.

(2)Ed H.

PF Changs new CHICKEN PAD THAI SUCKS!!!! their portions are too small and it tastes undercooked and bland! they try to hide this with spices and breaded fried chicken..... VERY UPSET by their new edition to their menu!!
(2)Matt L.

As Chinese As David Carradine I must to order Ma Po Tofu at 3 PM. Grasshopper who take-ah my order says-a that she no like Dofu. This why they no give to me? This is a great, great restaraunt which is why I am a regular. If you are looking for very nice quality food, drinks, and customer service this is the place for you!
(5)Steven E.
(1)Julie M.

(3)Brian M.

Holy BLAND. I mean... zero reason to go there. zero. waste of space for that fantastic location! They have no concept of "yummy" and its cold in there. I went there twice and never again. Poo

(1)Anastasia C.
