I was thrilled to see a sushi place added to Brewster, there are not many sushi places in this area (Macs Wellfleet at least 30mins away, Inaho-not so amazing in my eyes 15mins down 6A....and I've heard CBI has a sushi chef, but imagine that is pretty pricey.) I've had TAKE OUT sushi here 4-6 times maybe more, and have been happy everytime with my order! I always make sure to ask when calling in my order if there are any specials (which are always FANTASTIC!!!) But, please be aware the restaurant, is more of a take out place than sit down. Worth a try!! *Update* I've become a weekly regular. Would enjoy every night if I could. So so good. Amazing variety! So fresh! And open year round! Locals- I promise you won't be disappointed!! The Boston maki, yellow mellow passion and Bombay maki are a few of my favorites. Mmm MM good!! :D

Beware, everything is FROZEN! This is a poser sushi joint that primarily offers take out. No brewed tea! Served on plastic plates & utensils. The chef was actually thawing out the frozen fish in water?! Now he's a nice guy, but I eat food not people. Order from here at your own risk! Horrible!

I eat sushi a lot at home and I'm kind of a sushi snob, so I was happy to see that Brewster has a sushi place close by. They've got a pretty extensive menu, but this place is really just a take-out place. They only have 4 tables in the restaurant and there is really nothing appealing about the atmosphere so I'm ok with just picking it up and taking it home. The owner is very nice and very friendly every time I come in. All of the sushi I've had so far is great - the raw nigiri is tender fresh tasting (I read an older post saying it is frozen?) but the rolls are very small for what you pay. It's all a bit over priced for my liking, but I have no complaints about the food so I don't mind paying it once and awhile. I've been here several times and will continue to come back!

Pretty solid sushi joint. I was carving sushi and I was surprised that there aren't a lot of sushi places in the Cape. After searching Yelp, I came across Oki Sushi. This is definitely a take out place -- so come in, order and be prepared to take it home with you to eat. Between my boyfriend and I, we ordered five different types of sushi (two veggie types, one salmon, one tuna and one yellow fish), one miso soup and one edmane. For a take out joint, it was pretty pricey at $44 for all our food. I loved my sushi and edmane and so did my boyfriend. We were both too full to eat the soup, though. Bummer. Staff here is friendly and happy. Overall, I'd recommend this place to people who are in the Cape and are craving sushi. Cheers!

Delicious and extremely fresh sushi. We ordered take out, and even received a call back to confirm a question about our order. Attentive and friendly service even though we weren't sitting in the restaurant. Great spot for quick and great tasting food (not to mention affordable). Did I mention fresh? The fish was great. Will definitely be returning!

Very good every time. Fresh Sushi and very nice people working there. I go there as much as possible and highly recommend it

Oki is a hole-in-the-wall Japanese restaurant hiding on route 6A in Brewster, MA. Although Oki has some seating (4 tables with mismatched chairs), it is not an eat-in place. The miso was served in take-out containers, and the sushi was arranged on styrofoam plates with no soy dishes in sight. Despite the lack of atmosphere, the service was friendly. The sushi itself was OK. It was better than most grocery store sushi, but nothing to write home about. 2-3 stars. Might do in a pinch for a picnic elsewhere. Oki is hidden back in a small shopping plaza across from Brewster Books.

I love Oki Sushi! This is not a restaurant though, you really just want to call in and take out. The fish is all fresh and delicious! I'm not sure why there are some negative reviews but I lived in manhattan for 8 years and Oki is up there as far as quality goes with some of its more metropolitan counterparts. It IS pricey but it is definitely worth it for a delicious meal!

When I've bought takeout there (four or five times, that is) the staff is usually made up of college-age kids who seem somewhat disorganized, amateurish and slow. Still, they are very, very friendly. The sushi and sashimi is always fresh, and the specialty rolls are pretty inventive for such a small-scale place. I was surprised to find sushi this good in Brewster, MA, of all places. Then again, don't forget you're buying sushi in a strip mall hidden behind a Cumby's in Brewster, MA, Purely takeout. Not terribly pricey. And technically it's hidden behind a fruit stand, not directly behind the Cumby's.

Decent food but don't expect gourmet fare. The tempura veggies came without sauce so tasted bland. Maybe should have asked for some. Tried the fried rice which was good. Stir fried chicken was so so. Staff is friendly, but plan to do a take out.

I had a sushi dinner on my wedding rehearsal, it was wonderful and totally over the top. Ting came up with the full menu idea, we had salads, hot entrees and an array of sushis and sashimis. The food looked amazing and its taste was so fresh and so delicious that we are still craving for more. My guests were delighted with these fantastic dinner/treat and they still are talking about it. It was great to work with Ting, he is a great listener and delivered an absolute perfect japanese dinner. I am so glad that I was referred to you and was able to surprise my guests with your wonderful food. We took pictures of the food and they came out so beautiful, the food looked and tasted amazing. Thank you Ting for delivering an over-the-top experience to my party. I'll stop by Oki Sushi when I make back to the Cape for sure. My husband and I are still impressed with your work.

I tried out this place the other day and was quite disappointed with what I got. I got 6 rolls, a few cooked and uncooked maki...and I wasnt impressed with any of them. They were not made well at all (very messy looking) and too much rice! Not much flavor either. It was a little expensive too, but it is the cape after-all. I probably wont be back anytime soon.
