Chinese Cuisine
The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.
Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.
There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.

I have had food from here a couple of times and thats going to be the end of it. Every time I have had food here, its been bland and left with the feeling of having wasted 6 bucks. While you stand there trying to figure out what to order, the staff try every trick in the trade to make you buy there, including waving at you, asking "what drink do you want?", "Did you say you want Combo1". Goodbye Wong. Goodbye Corner "Mall"

Ecxellent Chinese food in the Corner Mall. Low Low prices but really good.

I head here at least once a week from work to get Singapore Noodles for lunch. They're always happy to make them to my specific order, and the food is always great (even other things, on the rare occasions when I order something else). The service is quick and the prices are low. Don't let the sketchiness of the Corner Mall stop you from getting to Wong's.

Star rating: 1. CHEAP 2. BIG portions 3. FAST 4. TASTY Back in the day when I interned in the downtown area, my typical lunch varied from home leftovers to instant ramen to the occasional Wendy's (eeks) and... Wong's. Yeahhh... so what if Wong's is technically Chinese fast food, located in the icky Corner "Mall"? Their specialty is not just Americanized Chinese food (sesame/orange chicken, crab rangoons, etc.) - they got some of the real stuff too! The quality of the food is comparable to what you'd get in Chinatown nowadays. Pretty big acclaim, I know. Who would've thought that this food court had delicious Chinese cuisine?? The secret is to get the cook-to-order food, i.e. Singaporean noodles, beef & mixed veggies chow foon, Thai fried rice, etc. Other favorites are hot & sour soup, mini dumplings, and chicken with pineapples & peppers. Every so often they add new menu items, too. Most recent: wonton noodle soup for under $5! On the rare occasions when I'm shopping in downtown, I always grab a bite at Wong's.

This is a very good chinese food place. Their locations are usually in malls or off the beaten path, but that does not make them any less. I love the crab rangoons here.

This was my first time eating there...I bought 2Wonton soups. the first was great when i went to eat the 2nd one...there was a dead fly in my soup!! and too boot...they gave me a hard time about the $2 because "they didnt see" the fly. I didnt know people lied about things like that. Do not eat at this place!!!

This is the spot for fake Chinese food or what some call Americanized Chinese food. I know my shit because I was forced into child labor for 10 years of my life at my dad's restaurant. If you're Chinese and your parents owned a restaurant when you were a kid, you know EXACTLY what I'm taking about. I still have flashbacks whenever I walk into a Chinese restaurant and see a little girl doing her homework behind the counter while answering phones. Oh yeah, this isn't a therapy session. Back to the review... Although there is a Master Wok in South Station which is much closer to my work, I still make the trek up to the Corner Mall for Wong's. There is always a crowd during lunch time, but they are quick to take your order. With one register at each end of the counter, you are in and out in a few minutes. The food looks good and tastes good, too. Oh, if you want more of the real stuff, that's when you head over to Chinatown. You may find the fake stuff in Chinatown, too, but it usually isn't that good.
