The last two times I've been to this Uno's I've ordered the Chicken Pesto Sandwich (chicken, tomato, arugula basil pesto, balsamic vinaigrette on focaccia). The first time I had it, I wasn't impressed--the chicken was flavorless and kind of chewy/tough, although the bread and pesto were good. I decided to give it another shot recently and was glad I did. The chicken was tender and flavorful and the bread was still delicious. I would order this again if I was at Uno's! I opted for a side of broccoli instead of fries and it came steamed to perfection, on the softer side, which I like!

Wow. This is not Chicago style deep dish. Their pizza is wrong and unappetizing. Recently got back from a trip to Chicago and devoured far too many deep dishes. I got hooked and needed a fix in Boston. I thought Uno's must have good deep dish, after all, they invented it, right? Well, this pizza was a joke. I complained, and the server was very apologetic. I told him the crust was really unappetizing and I wondered why it had an odd texture and mouth-feel. He let me know that it is par-cooked before being ordered, and then finished when the order is in. He told me they had to do this or the cheese would stick to the pan (????). I'm sure it is simply to increase table turnover. Unfortunately, it makes the crust disgusting. My girlfriend and I ate the pizza because we were absolutely starving. We had just spent six hours in the garden and could not wait any longer. The manager came over after speaking with the waiter and told me he heard I wasn't enjoying the pizza. I told him what I told the waiter, and he apologized. I asked why they partially cooked the crust as it completely ruins it, and he didn't answer directly. He told me it is cooked thoroughly... I think he misheard me or was otherwise avoiding the question. I told him I was not comfortable tipping for the meal because I really couldn't bring myself to pay more than I had to for a pizza that was truly sad (I would have sent the pizza back had I not been so hungry, and this wouldn't have been a problem). I told him the service was great, but I can't shell out more money for this. He told me it's not the waiters fault, which I understand. But I simply can't bring myself to pay 20% more for something that was terrible. The manager comped the pizza, to my surprise. He was very concerned that the waiter wasn't going to get a tip. I gave the waiter a good tip and went on my way, glad to have not paid for that abomination. The place is loud, pricey, serves TERRIBLE pizza. The service was excellent and the manager went above and beyond, but that won't get me to try Uno's ever again.

We visited this restaurant on a Friday evening. We had tickets to the Red Sox game that night and didn't have much time for dinner. Courtney waited on us and she assured us that we would be able to make the game if we order items aside from pizza as they are faster to cook. We ordered the pesto chicken sandwich and burgers. The food was tasty and we did end up having time to eat and get to the game. My father had some questions about the area and she was accommodating and polite. Overall we had a good experience here. We even came back later for dessert and had a pleasant experience then too.

After a horrible experience at this location, I do not want to return. I have been going to this UNOs location for years since I was in college. Quality of service has severely declined over the years. I had a coupon for a free birthday meal and went in on Wednesday, May 20th to redeem it. There was a Red Sox game going on, but the restaurant was practically empty. We were seated at a small table up against a large beam, so I asked if we could just move to a larger booth (again, the restaurant wasn't terribly busy). This wasn't an issue with the hostess, so she seated us at an open booth. We waited 15 minutes, and no one ever came to take our order. Several staff members helped customers around us. There were employees behind us arranging silverware and napkins. The same waiter kept walking by us to talk to the employees. After being ignored, we just got up and left. What set me off was the waiter (who kept walking by us and clearly saw our order was never taken) told us to "have a great night." Maybe it was my mood after being ignored, but I felt his tone came off as quite sarcastic. I just told them no one came to take our order. Save yourself the trouble of going to this location. Ride the extra two stops and go to the one in Copley. We ended up at that location, and service was MUCH better. I wanted to reach out to a manager, but do not know who the manager of this location is.

The food at this Uno is not bad at all, and their "Game Day" menu is just right for game day, especially when some of the other pubs in the area don't serve food until later in the afternoon. It's a fantastic location. But the restaurant does a little bit of self-sabotage on itself. There's a lot of little things that the staff can do with a little more enthusiasm, and that would make a big difference. A group of us came in mid-afternoon on the day of a Sox game. The restaurant was pretty quiet (and it is indeed very spacious). You'd think during a slower time they might do a bit of upkeep - our table still had crumbs and water spots on it from the previous customers, especially at the window end of our booth table. Whoever cleaned the table didn't feel like stretching. I enjoyed my window view, but I also got a view of a ton more food crumbs on the window sill. When we were seated, we got the Game Day menu, but no drink menu, which slowed things down when our waitress greeted us. She did get us the drink menu, but she stumbled a bit giving us information on the beers (a little more experience with the drink menu will help). The beer list is limited but still decent, with larger sizes available. Our food came out promptly. My guac burger was delicious, cooked to order, and the guacamole had a rich smoky flavor. But when I opened my burger, I saw some unexpected generosity. Two other people at my table ordered their burgers without red onion slices. I discovered where they went - I had 3 slices of red onion in my burger. As for the fries - well I really dislike the "coated for crispiness" version of fries served at many places. That's probably not something over which the restaurant has any control. One more minor and amusing glitch was that when we asked for our check, our waitress had to re-open the bill - not a big issue at all, just something that took a bit more time. I would have no problems eating here again, and I'd probably stick to one of their burgers, and perhaps an alternative to fries. This Uno would not be my first choice for just a meal, or just some drinks, but it's an okay combination when you want both.

I don't usually give reviews but this was a special occasion as the experience I've had at UNO in Kenmore Sq. My girlfriend loves your pizza skins and since we were about to celebrate our anniversary we've decided to go there. Our server, I think his name was Mike, was awesome, he made us feel welcome and the food as expected, delicious. After we finished our entrees a young manager came over, she introduced herself to us and asked us if we were from town. We've chatted for a bit, inquiring about service quality and food as well, and when she saw us she realized we were celebrating something special so we've told her. About ten minnites after that she brought us this big chocolate cake with a candle in it. We were stunned by what Andrea did and I must say that day became more special as we've kept on celebrating. UNO, we will definitely come back. Special thanks!

Been forever. Pizza skins - mashed potato in a crisp bready crust, topped with cheddar and a sprinkle of crumbled bacon bits - what's not to like? With coupon in hand, I called in my take-out order and headed on over. Stairs greeted me by the entrance at this Kenmore Square location. Not sure if they have a more accessible alternative entrance or not. I was early, and I said so, but the employee who greeted me went off to check on the status of my order and brought it back out with her. Yup, I still love Uno pizza skins. And I helped myself to the little tub of sour cream they tucked into my bag as well. 3.5 stars.

Nice job with the lobster rolls with a sweet and tangy Cole slaw. The whiskey chicken tenders were succulent throughout every bite. The chicken parmigiano was enough for two meals. The host Armando was welcoming and explained all the specials and all the servers were attentive. Will definitely be back..

Been there last night with five other friends. Waitress was very friendly but service tooooooo slow. Had a half pound bacon cheeseburger and it was just ok, almost bland. Definitely overpriced. Ambiance and friendliness of attendants saved the night but will choose another place next time.

So, the other night, I came here for a fundraiser for my fraternity. I was pretty excited, since Uno's has some awesome food for a decent price. However, I was truly disappointed by the service. It was during a busy dinner hour, so I understand that, but I can't help but wonder how difficult it is to crack a smile when on the job. Having been in food service, I completely understand the stress of a server, but with due time in the industry, you learn how to manage the stress and become more efficient with your time. I honestly didn't see this in our waitress. We thought it was her first day on the job, but we then found out she had been working at the Uno's since 2013. It sure didn't show... And let me tell you why. First of all, she completely messed up our orders. My party asked for certain condiments and sides, but didn't get them. There was a side of guac and french fries with my order, but I didn't ask for any of it. When my friend didn't get her side salad with her meal, we asked our waitress and she replied with, "Oh, okay." No apologies, whatsoever. It would have been more courteous that way, but she made us feel a little bit dumb. Then, when we asked for more waters from ANOTHER waitress because ours had been MIA for 30 minutes after we got our meals, she came around and talked to the other waitress and said in a sassy voice, "Oh, not enough water?" We're right next to you... It's water... Why do you have to be so condescending? LASTLY, we split the tab three ways and she did NOT understand how to do it. It probably took a good 10 tries for her to be able to finally put things on the correct tabs. No apologies. When she handed us the checks, we told her that the orders were wrong and she just said, "Oh, can you just subtract $3 from that one and add $3 to the other checks?" NOT KNOWING the other checks were wrong. Then she just grabbed the checks and ran away. This process took at least 15 minutes. Sheesh! I give the place two stars instead of one because the food was awesome. Sorry, Uno's, I do like your food, but maybe I'll have to check out other locations in the Greater Boston area. For now, you're not numero uno on my list.

If you're going to a game and want a beer, this might be a good choice, but not if you're in a rush or want to be treated like an actual customer. I used to work at a restaurant in Fenway and still can't believe the experience I just had here, it included: Shitty fried food, that took 30 mins Bartenders taking shots (instead of our order) Plates piled in front of us (instead of our drinks) Bartenders giving their phone numbers (instead of service) A real great hangout, for everyone employed by UNOs Shame on the type of restaurant that becomes complacent to customer service given a popular, high traffic location.

One thing I liked is I went 45 minutes before a Red Sox game. It was much less crowded than places right near Fenway Park, which get really jammed (for obvious reasons).

Kicked off New Year's Eve celebration here! The place sometimes takes reservations at the door, but tonight was just a local crowd! Which made getting a quick drink and running downtown more attractive. However, service was typically Boston laid-back and getting into the whole bar / waitress scene. Everyone was real friendly and engaging. The waitresses, Maria & Ashley, were dressed in an attractive, starry princesses type of outfits for the occasion. They looked hot! A few of the entrées here are really pretty outstanding that's why I gave it a four.

Came here for the third time in the last year and still not impressed. The chicken parm dinner tasted so bland and mediocre for the price that it was not worth it at all. My boyfriend also ordered steak tips which looked like they were cooked 20 minutes too long. The mac and cheese appetizer was decent but nothing that would ever make me want to go back again. Not to mention, we both feel sick after eating there. The server was new and tried so hard to get a good tip that it made every time he came over feel so uncomfortable, but at least he tried. The fries were good though, as well as the bread stick that comes with the meals.

So I called at 1015 and ordered pizza, cause we were stayin at the Buckminster hotel. She said 20 mins so we waited then headed downstairs and then our food was not ready! She let us know she would go Check. Never came back? After 15 mins I asked where she was and where our food was? No response so after it had been an hour our pizza came out. No apology or Anything I asked what happened and all I got was" something must have gotten mixed up". There was hardly anyone in the restaurant? An hour for one pizza an no explanation or apology. Horrible do not go here eat here or drink here. No support or apology. Ridiculous!!!!! You suck and your service is shit. Good luck staying in business!

Went on a Sunday night , they were completely dead. The waitress came to the table right away and took our drink orders and grabbed us water. Thought it started out pretty good. Then we ordered our apps and upon receiving my appetizer of a burnt and I mean BURNT half filled chicken quesadilla ( best part is the burnt parts were on the bottom so I couldn't see it at first). I noticed I still haven't gotten the drinks that I had ordered. Long Island and a miller light draft. I could see them sitting at the bar and finally after ten minutes we received our drinks. My friend ordered the chicken spinocoli with a side of broccoli (more like broccoli with a side of chicken). We then had our meals and before even having a chance to order dessert or being asked if we wanted dessert, we received our bill. I made several attempts at trying to get our waitress to notice my dissatisfaction which seemed to be ignored. I felt that we were being rushed out. Being a manager of the food services across the way I think I can say that the quality of the service and food was poor. I will never be seen at this UNOs ever again. Sad to say this because I really used to love that buffalo quesadilla.

The food is fine once it actually arrives. The service here is terrible. Been here once every week for some time but my last experience was worst of all. We didnt even have our Pepsi brought to us, not to mention the half hour wait for soup? Would not recommend coming here if you're in a rush for lunch. I should have gone across the road to McDonalds instead. At least I would get good service there!

Came to this UNO the night the Red Sox clinched the division back in late September. The service was weak and the food lagged behind most of the UNO's I've been to around the country. We ordered the deep dish with pepperoni and black olives and it was undercooked and had more dough than a basket of rolls. Our salads were ok. The good news is there's ample TVs here to watch other sporting events throughout the night and the atmosphere is pretty good too.

Went there before a game. We were seated quickly and the service was good. However, the pizza was not so good. The crust was crumbly and flavorless. Although we got additional toppings, it seemed that the pizza was mostly sauce. My family was hungry; nevertheless, we we unable to finish the pizza. It sort of sat like a rock in my gut. In any case, if Chicago style pizza is your preference, enjoy. Otherwise, find the NY style.

Went in right after a Red Sox game. The service was a little slow getting started -- I don't think the waiter knew the hostess had started seating his section. But after the initial lag, everything was great. I love the Chicago style pizza at Uno's and have been to this chain in many states with happy memories of each experience. Classic Chicago sausage and cheese is my favorite.

Expensive and unsatisfactory. I ordered a thin crust BBQ Chicken pizza. The thing was barely 10 inches across, looked, and tasted like the pizza they sell frozen for $1.99 in the supermarkets. I paid $13.29 + tax for it. After eating the sorry excuse for a pizza, I went home and looked in my freezer..... oh look! A frozen UNO thin crust BBQ Chicken Pizza! I bought it from Market Basket last week! I opened it and popped it into my oven. When it came out, it was larger than the one I got at the restaurant, didn't have the texture or look like it was cardboard mixed with library paste, and only cost me 3 bucks. How the UNO restaurant dropped the ball on that one is anyone's guess.

I've been going to this particular UNO restaurant for many years, since I work in the area. And I've never experienced a single problem with the food, drinks, or service. The GM, managers, bartenders, and servers there have always been very attentive and courteous to me. The beer selection is great, the reasonably priced food tastes excellent, and the atmosphere is awesome (especially in the bar area for Red Sox games & Concerts/Special Events at Fenway Park). You won't find a nicer person than the manager Maria. She truly cares about all of her guests & staff there, and is always so friendly & engaging. I've seen lots of first-time customers & tourists immediately hit it off with her and come back just to see her again. And the usual nighttime bartenders Ashley, Regina, and Robby are all very hardworking and fun to talk to. No matter how busy they get, they always serve you very quickly and with a smile. The restaurant's location is perfect. It's near the Kenmore T Station, and close enough to be a very short walk to Fenway Park. (You can see the ballpark from the restaurant.) Yet it's enough away from the bars & restaurants immediately surrounding the ballpark which can get way too packed and sometimes unruly. I feel that people who write negative reviews are usually looking for little things that somehow make it a "bad" experience anyways, and they really need to loosen up. (I highly doubt they would take the time to post a great review; even if they miraculously felt they had a positive experience.) So don't pay any attention to them. Go to UNO's, grab a cold beer, order some tasty nachos, wings, or a deep dish pizza, watch the game on the big TV's, listen to some tunes, shoot the breeze with your friends, family, and the restaurant staff, and just ENJOY life. This is a solid casual restaurant right by Fenway with great eats, drinks, and a top-notch staff. Trust this longtime regular.

My wife and I have eaten here a few times and have yet to be impressed. At this point, we would be impressed with "average" food. I don't believe in writing reviews after a single negative experience. Each time we've gone, it has been sub-standard. As another reviewer stated, "The food is fine once it actually arrives." It appears as though the individuals that go simply to drink beer and watch sports have a grand time. We, however, ordered an appetizer sampler, entrees for our guests and a gluten-free pizza. Our sampler came out with undercooked mozzarella cheese sticks, overcooked chicken fingers, and okay wings. Apparently, as long as one does not order the Gluten-Free Pizza, then one should be okay. Had I known that our lunch invitation was going to turn out as a let's-awkwardly-watch-each-other-eat-lunch lunch, then we would have gone elsewhere. Our guests' entrees arrived well ahead of our GF Pizza with no word from our server or a manager as to when it would be out. Eventually, our server came by and stated that it was "almost ready."After waiting an inordinate amount of time for a pizza that was "almost ready," the manager arrived with it just in time for our guests to watch us eat. This was, by far, the worst GF pizza we've had. The outer edges of the crust were barely crisp and the rest was soft and frighteningly undercooked. It did not appear as though the dough had been properly thawed before going into the oven. A very poor experience overall.

I was suprised because I thought chicago usually had thicker crust on their pizza, and I wasn't a huge fan of this. The slices were very small and it was too greasy for my liking.

I visit here often, and I love the service. The bartenders are super nice and always accommodating. Plus they almost always have awesome specials on food and drinks! (tip... Ask for your pizza to be well-done, because that may be the only downside... It's sometimes undercooked)

Food quality is great. very standard with the Unos stores around the country, nothing special on the menu or lacking. The Cheeseburger Sliders and the Chicken Spinoccoli are great dishes if you're very hungry. Big portions for the price. Food is consistently very good, service occasionally is spotty. Had a bad experience the last time I went and thought it was unacceptable. Having waited 30 minutes for carry out only to be told that my dish was just beginning to get prepared. Eventually resulted in me taking a refund and leaving right out the door

Double charged at least five people in our party on their cards - and we didn't even notice until many days later, because it completely didn't match what the split receipts we signed said. Made a reservation for a decent sized group. UNO vs 30 people: UNO 0, us 1. All teh drink orders were taken one at a time, before the appetizers orders, and we didn't have any menus to look through until people started getting their drinks. It took at least an hour from the time we sat down to start getting our food. Despite have a very nice private rom, UNO was unable to handle it food wise. At the end, literally lined up 20 people to pay with card, one-by-one, at the machine. My steak came on a very disheveled-looking plate without the shrimp, and was suspiciously hard to the taste. I think the juice might've dried up somehow in the waiting, but my medium rare was definitely better cooked than my friend's medium.

Great spot for a quick lunch or late night bar food. Their lunch specials for under $8 include all-you-can eat soup and a half sandwich, salad or the pizza of the day. They open til 1pm which is much later than most of the other restaurants in this area. I've been to this location on two occasions and both times the staff was courteous and efficient, and the food was great. Most memorable are the chili soup (more like chili than soup) served with tortilla chips and the deep-dish market fresh pizza. Though I haven't had dinner here, their entree menu looks promising, and I hope to soon.

I won't be returning again after I had an awful night here after a couple ok visits. The food is stupid expensive, servers are not attentive, and the food takes forever to be either made or served. I have no idea what these people are doing. I ordered 3 things chilli soup, chicken sponocolli pasta, and top sirloin steak. All of which took forever to bring out and which all of it were brought out warm turning cold so it wasn't good. This was on a dead silent Wednesday night which is why I don't understand why it took so long to bring out. I've never been so pissed off in my life going out for only two. Not only that but our waiter checked up on us about 3 times within 1 hour(taking drinks, taking order, and checking out). He wasn't very friend nor cracked a smile until he brought our check. My girlfriend wanted some desert but was it worth waiting God know how long? I think I have some re-rating to do for my past reviews else where. This place deserved their place in the worst of the worst of the worst restaurants I've been in. I'd recommend McDonald's across the street over this place.

This review is for the BAR only. I went in to sit at the bar after a meeting around the corner. The bartenders were awesome (to the point that I asked for their first names so I can give props to them on Yelp - Rob and Maria). They were very friendly and attentive. I'm used to bars downtown, where bartenders just wreak of attitude problems and it's impossible to get their attention. This totally was not the case with Rob and Maria. In fact, despite the fact that I hate going to chain restaurants, I would totally go back to Unos just because the bar service was so remarkable. The only reason I had to drop it down a star is due to my take-out order. I ordered my absolute favorite, the Chopped Honey Crisp Chicken salad (I've been eating it for years, and I cannot get enough of it). It comes with chicken tenders, mixed greens, vermicelli, bacon, bell peppers, tomatoes, Cheddar and honey mustard. I recently moved away from any local Unos, so I was totally psyched/ecstatic for it. However, when I got home, THERE WAS NO VERMICELLI - which is part of why this is SUCH a great salad. It actually soured my mood! Also, in the past, the salad came with a breadstick, and I didn't get one this time. Don't hold me to that though, it's been a good year since I've been at an Unos so their "breadstick" policy could have changed? Either way: if you're debating to grab a drink at a bar before a game or just because you're around Kenmore - I really suggest Unos. (I can't believe I'm promoting a chain, but what can I say? Amazing service is everything!)

This review is for the Bar only. This place had an interesting selection of Boston Beers. My favorite was the Green Monsta IPA from Wachusett Brewing Company. I am not a fan of IPAs but this is really good! The bartender was kind enough to let us try other selections like Wachusett Blueberry and Sam Adams Summer Ale. One thing I wish they can add are more inches to their TVs and Mega-pixels!

Oh dear. I wish I read the reviews before I decided to place a delivery order... I was staying at the hotel that's right behind the restaurant, but I figured I'd be a lazy arse and take a bath while I wait for my food to come to me instead of going to pick it up (I think I should've just picked it up...and threw it in the trash). Note that I am extremely close to the restaurant. So tell me why my food came to me COLD? I've never, in my life, have had foods that are supposed to be HOT delivered to me cold. It's unheard of. Did I do something to tick them off? I ordered online! With tip! I ordered an artisan pizza, the mac n cheese (requested added bacon which they did for no extra charge so I am grateful for that), a bowl of clam chowder, the bread pudding, and a small portion of the chocolate peanut butter cup dessert (go hard or go home). The artisan pizza was just bad. I love goat cheese and ordered the pizza just because it had goat cheese and figs on it. plenty of figs, but barely any cheese. The mac n cheese was far from what you'd imagine mac n cheese to be like. It wasn't rich and creamy and goopy like mac n cheese should be. The sauce was thin and barely coated the pasta. Never have I thought I would need to microwave food that has just been delivered to me from next door, but the pizza and pasta tasted much better once heated up, so I gotta give them that!* Oh actually, the soup came hot. Forgot about that. The clam chowder wasn't anything to remember anyway; the soup was thin and watery with barely anything in it. Chunks of potato here and there, that's about all I remember. Leave it to New England to fuck up some NE Clam Chowder. Here's another fun addition to this catastrophe-Uno's gave me ONE SPOON. one. I guess they figured I could eat my soup, then my mac n cheese, and then my dessert all with the same flimsy, plastic spoon. But get this...they gave me THREE plates. I swear these guys are FUCKING WITH ME!!! Maybe they are trying to teach me a lesson about being a sloppy glutton and ordering delivery from a restaurant right next door. I don't know. I can't make any sense of this. Okay, on to dessert. The best thing I had from this meal was the chocolate peanut butter cup. I got the small portion of the peanut butter cup, and the size is pathetic. Good, but pathetic. The bread pudding is different than bread pudding I've had, but it wasn't bad. It's more like a saturated, soggy spongecake. Sounds gross, but with the caramel drizzle and ice cream topping, it passes. I am extremely disappointed. But if I came to Yelp first, then I wouldn't have been. In fact, I'm sure I would have avoided this $56 disaster altogether. Lesson learned, do your homework! *note sarcasm

we came here last night around 5:30 PM and the place was near empty, with tons of wait staff hanging around, and yet we could not get service for the first 20 minutes, I just can't understand this and it put a damper on our entire meal. I literally had to walk up to the hostess staff, where 5 or waitress were hanging out and ask if we had a server. Our waiter did not have a pen and forgot our straws, it was a big joke and not a very enjoyable experience.

The people who work at this uno clearly have no idea what is going on. Yesterday I was at the sox game and called uno to see if they had the deal that I know they have on weekdays where appetizers are half off in the bar area after 10 pm. The first person who answered the phone clearly had no idea what I was talking about. And said "uhh i think thats during the game only." I said to her that I was talking about the deal that happens during the weeks and she responded "no Its only during games." So with the knowledge she clearly seemed confused about her own restaurant's policy, my boyfriend called back a bit later and another person answered, and said "yeah come right over, we're empty and half off appetizers starts at 10." So we get there around 9:50 and the hostesses are all like "oh yeah we told you appetizers are half off but thats only during the week, we were wrong." No apology, they seemed to think it was funny. Horrible customer service. The hostesses didn't even know the policy of their own restaurant.

Went there with my family on a recent Saturday night. All we wanted was dessert and coffee. It took 10 minutes to get waited on and after we ordered, we left after 20 minutes without getting our order. Our waitress, Tori, only came to our table one time to tell us that they did not have any caramel syrup for dessert. We did not even get our coffee. On top of that, there were only about 10 people at most in the restaurant that night. There was no excuse for this poor service. Maybe that explains why it was not crowded there on a Saturday night. The table next to us had a loud bunch of college students. No effort was made by management to tell them to keep their voices down. Perhaps they were given too much alcohol. The problem starts with management allowing poor service to carry on to begin with. If management is good, then the wait staff would have been more timely and efficient with service. That is, if anyone cares.

I debated between two and three stars, but decided on three because 1) the waiter was friendly and helpful, even if we did get a few mix-ups during the meal, and 2) even though it's hard to find something healthy on the menu, I guess that's just not their shtick. Ups: Aforementioned friendliness of waiter. Upbeat ambiance. My cobb salad and skinny margarita were both tasty. The two special requests I made (no gorgonzola, balsamic on the side) were executed properly. Downs: Meals took a long time to come out. In the round of waters we got at the beginning, one was a club soda. Two of my dining companions ordered the sliders, one medium well, one medium, and the two orders were switched- neither realized until the end, and just thought that Uno's didn't know how to cook burgers. One commented that every time he goes to Uno's, he wishes there were more fries. The prices are a little high for my tastes. And there's approximately three things on the menu that look under 1000 calories. In summary, definitely not my go-to place for eating out, but I guess if you don't mind how many calories your entree has, and you're not in a rush, you'll probably enjoy it.

I'm a huge fan of the Pizzeria Uno franchise. Due to this, I've been to the kenmore square location three times. However after my third visit, I came to notice that every time I've been there, the place was either half full or borderline empty. To be honest, there are pretty obvious reasons for that. The food is great, no questions about that! But everything else in this particular location drags the experience for customers down. The atmosphere is astonishingly dull and miserable (compared to other Uno locations, the lighting is surprisingly dim), the employees mostly display an air of nonchalance and tend to not really care about customers, the decoration is decent but looks like it's ripping off dinners you'd find in the middle of rural Texas (aka it looks kind of old, dull and there are way too many neon lights) and the entertainment is ok at best (aka when the music is not too loud or when they put on ESPN, which is not often) It's a shame that Pizzeria Uno's Kenmore Square location is such a letdown because that franchise has great food, nice decorations (for the most part) and employees that usually do their best to make sure you have a good time. I hope the manager at this restaurant gets a chance to change things up.

Kenmore sq lacks in food after 10pm. Even a venue is open til 2AM, they usually close their kitchen at 10pm. And Sunday is even worse. Most of places close their door by 6 or 9pm. And.... Uno is what's still standing. They keep their kitchen and bar open past midnight 7 days a week. Because of that, I am often dependent to this place.

This is my review on the bar. I went there late night with a lady friend. Its a pretty basic bar atmosphere, nice, yet nothing amazing. But cant complain. The waiter there was awesome, very spot on asking for drinks upon us being seated, came back with them quickly, asked for our order, also timely on that and he kept on making sure everything was good. Nothing short of great service. I must say however do not get the nachos. I like the fact that they are fully loaded with salsa, beans, cheese, etc, however they hardly give you any tortilla chips!! I couldn't even eat my nachos cause I could not locate the chips!! disappointed with that. However nonetheless the place was nice, service great, and great drink selection. Decent go to bar.

I go to BU, so Uno's is very convenient for me, and I love it. The food is amazing. I used to always get the "Numero Uno" deep dish pizza, but I've converted to their pastas now. I've tried the Chicken Spinoccoli and the Rattlesnake Pasta -- both are delicious. I always come here for their pasta now, and their desserts are good too...if I have room at the end of dinner. They have mini dessert samplers for $1.99, which is the perfect size after a nice dinner, but if I'm with a lot of friends, we usually end up splitting the Deep Dish Sundae (Giant chocolate chip cookie with whipped cream and a scoop of ice cream - SO GOOD!)

French onion soup seemed as though it was out of a can. I'm a little picky about French onion soup... but definitely was lacking. The pizza was the most unremarkable pizza we've had for a while. The pizza was the type of pizza you'd get from a motel restaurant, not a place known for its pizza. Nothing special.

Uno's sure knows how to hit the spot just right when you come hungry! Last weekend after the parade in Boston we wanted some food. So we went here! So as we walked in we got greeted rather quickly and sat right away! It was a Sunday night around 7:00 or so. So it was not very busy. So +1 for me! As we got sat our server came right over and took our drink orders. While we waited on the drinks we also got a good chance to look at their menu. One thing we noticed on this is....Its different! This is both good and bad! For our drinks I ended up getting a Guinness (ON TAP!) and the girlfriend got a cosmo of some sort. Both tasted great! Plus this is one of few places that I know that has Guinness on tap and not in a bottle! HUGE PLUS FOR ME!!!!! For our app we ended up just getting cheese sticks! Classic American app. This was a great choice! They came out quickly fresh and hot. Although hard to screw up Uno's delivered here! I love the simple things in life and this includes cheese sticks! I recommend these with out question to anyone who loves cheese! For our meals we ended sharing 2 things. We could not decide what to get. One of the meals we got is the BBQ chicken pizza. You can not go wrong with this. Its flatbread and yummy! Uno's makes one of the better BBQ chicken pizza's I have had in a long time. It taste great! I have gotten it many times over the years and I have never had it come out bad. From any Uno's location. They seem to have mastered this one! For our second meal we got the chicken parm! All I can say is WOW! It comes with TWO chicken breasts and a ton of pasta! So much both of us could not have even finished it! The chicken is the best part. Its breaded to perfection. I don't know what they use but its a light bread. Its perfect! The meat sauce was pretty generic and the pasta is well...Pasta! It all combines into a TASTY Chicken parm! Come hungry! So over all we spent about $50 total. This includes the tip. So for what we got the price was right on and fair! The server was very friendly, helpful, and welcoming. Quick and friendly is all that I can ask for! Now the one thing that I did not like. The menu has changed. I think its for the worst. They took a lot off of the menu. Now this isn't all that bad. They did get more desserts on the menu. Granted we didn't have any. We saw that the peanut butter cup is back! I cant wait to have this again! We will in the near future. This trip was filling enough! Very minor. The menu still offers something for everyone. Its a GREAT 4/5! I hope the menu change is only a season thing. Time will tell. Even with this change its not enough to scare us away! Check out Uno's!

Typical chain with bad service and heavy heavy food. The star is there simply because I like their quesadillas but other than that it's very salty heavy food that will leave you feeling like you want to pass out. Very greasy. Get the Quesadillas if you go though, extra sour cream for sure.

Looks like a fancy place from outside, something that can't be a disappointment. Oh boy... Got "root beer" that god knows where it came from, but it had a strong taste of soap. The waiter disappear for 15 min, then returned to ask if we know what we want to order. I pointed him first to the problem with the drink. He took it away. Then cane the manager and his response was "I tasted it and it was fine". Yup. We skipped food...

Great place before a Red Sox game. Great selection of beer and new small plates of food. The atmosphere at this location is unlike any other Uno's. This place is different because of the location and the staff.

There's nothing spectacular about this place, but it's solidly good. Both times I've gone, the waiter has been very attentive and the food's been filling. Their deep dish pizza is so delicious, and so is that cookie dessert. Yum! If you're on any sort of diet, don't go here. Seriously, I'm not a big eater, and I easily consumed 3,000 calories last time I came here. Whoops.

Don't ever come here for a large group. We have this place reserved and they gave us a nice room, but the service was beyond bad. We received plastic disposable cups instead of regular cups. We didn't receive menus for 45 minutes. We had to self serve our drinks. Some of the drinks were missing. I didn't get the side I wanted. The food took two hours to arrive. One of the waitresses dropped a dozen of my friend's fries. The salmon was dry and only slightly warm.

A chain restaurant in Kenmore Square? Surely it will be full of drunk Sox fans looking to save cash before the game. That's my favorite part about this place. Snack hours during home games make it for cheap eats so you can make it somewhere a little cooler once the game gets out.

Yes, Uno's has some greasy food but if you've chose to eat at Uno's you already know that. It's bar food done well and they don't shy away from it. With that being said...I love Uno's. If I could, I'd go here every day. The food is always good and I've never had anything I didn't like. This was my go to place to eat whenever I hung out with friends. At the time there was a location in Kenmore Sq and up by Comm & Harvard Ave (now closed). So there was always an Uno's near me to eat at. Sometimes when it gets busy, there may be a wait for your food but that's every where so it's bearable. If you feel like good bar food (and who never feels like eating bad once in a while?) Uno's is the place! favorites: Apps: Pizza skins, Chicken wings, mozzarella sticks, broccoli and cheddar soup, NE clam chowder, Entrees: Chicken Spinoccoli, Chicken & broccoli Alfredo, Blackened chicken fettuccine, rattlesnake pasta, Romano crusted chicken parm, chicken thumb platter, BBQ chicken pizza, sausage pizza, Numero Uno Pizza, Cheddar & mushroom burger, chopped honey crisp chicken salad, dessert: oreo brownie bowl, sundae menu: unos.com/menus

We ate here on a recent Friday night before the Red Sox game. The game was at 7:10 and we arrived at the restaurant about 5:30. The place has a nice feel to it, all brick, different levels, a bunch of t.v.'s and friendly staff. The staff was friendly, our server Sammy was fine. The menu has just the right amount of choices, alot of pizza's, some burgers and wraps and some fish and steak. I had the grilled veggie wrap and goat cheese, I thought it was good. It came with some tasty fires. My wife got the Spinnabrocooli Pizza. She said it was good although I have read the previous reviews about the pizza not being real Chicago. All in all a nice place to eat before the game. The noise level was fine, it looked clean and the staff was friendly.

If you've lived on this planet long enough to be yelping I think you already know the basic deal with Uno's. So I won't get into too much detail about the standard Uno's stuff. Here's why I love this place. They have a downstairs eating area with tons of TVs, and raised tables where you sit on bar stools and drink...$2.50 tall glasses of Killians! What am I saying really? I love the fact that this place has cheap beer, it's such a rarity in Boston. So, go here w/a few buddies, drink cheap decent beer, watch a few games, and eat some tasty apps (i love the pizza skins personally).

I went into this one for the first time and it wasnt bad at all. I didnt eat dinner thought I came in for desert while my friends ate so I had the banana foster which was pretty darn awsome. My icre cream pretty fast but then again it had really bananas on top which i didnt kno. All my friends seems to enjoy their foods as well. The only problem I can say is that the place was dead except us and another booth and it almost felt like an hour passed before our food came to us. Being that no one was their I assumed it would have been faster if anything but yea. Still though its a nice place.

To the point: Pizzeria Uno in Kenmore Square sucks big time and out loud! I'm not sure what is worse: the service or the food. I took my two college student kids here recently for an early dinner and I should have walked out before we even sat down. We were told that there was a 10 minute wait despite half of the tables in the restaurant being empty (a bad sign). Our waitress hovered between helpless, clueless, and hopeless (Kyana?). We ordered four simple things: an order of chicken wings, two burgers and a single serving pizza. How hard can that be? It took 15 minutes for the wings: nine scrawny, stringy, flavorless specimens that had obviously been sitting on a counter in the kitchen for at least ten minutes (and that's $1.00 a wing)! It took 35 minutes for the burgers and the mini-pizza. The pizza had been sitting for quite some time and was nearly cold. One burger came without the requested lettuce and tomato and we sat for five minutes trying to get our dopey waitress' attention to rectify this. The other burger came burned black enough to have cooked the first burger (even though ordered medium); it was inedible (and I've never, ever seen my son leave a plate of food uneaten)! Small enough issues, but when coupled with sloppy, inattentive service and high prices for a chain restaurant (burgers are $10.00 at Uno), the result is inexcusable. I could see if this was a Red Sox/Yankees weekend at Fenway Park, but this was a Sunday night in mid March. When I complained about the burger (and I've never complained about restaurant food in my life and I'm in my fifties), they still tried to charge me for it even though we sent it back. Only when I insisted that this be addressed did they finally take it off of the bill, no apologies offered and no effort to make us feel anything less than ripped off and pissed off. Cornwall's, across the street, is a much better value and the service and the food is great--too bad they are closed on a Sunday. Best advice: save your money and get a cheese dog at the 7-11 across the street.

I'm barely giving this place 2 stars because my last experience there was mildly good because of our excellent waiter. It was the first time I had been there and the place was empty. As my fellow Bostonians already know this place is exploding with people on the day of a game and you can COUNT ON bad and slow service, crowds, a wait etc etc..;. but on a tuesday afternoon with only 5 other tables filled and NO ONE i mean NO one else there, it wasn't too far off from game day... The appetizers were the best thing we ate... we ordered tenders but they gave us wings ( hate meat on the bone) and they happily replaced them ( after 15 mins).. the potato skin pizza we had actually is now in grocery stores everywhere and take it from me... buy the grocery store kind and make it in your oven because it is apparently rocket science for a cook to open a package and place it in the oven...it was grossly undercooked. We ordered a deep dish spinoccoli pizza and a thin crust BBQ chicken pizza. Ok somehow this disgusting citrus sauce got splashed all over the BBQ chicken pizza... on the menu it states that there is a hint of the stuff in the sauce but this was WAYY overdone.... barely edible. The deep dish would have been great if the fresh spinach leaves ( the only fresh ingredient they must use) were'nt burnt and bitter.... oh and if it was cooked longer...like another 10 mins longer on 450... How in the world do you burn toppings and undercook dough???? They sell corndogs at 7-11...

4 stars why? well its not the food for sure, but the atmosphere is pretty cool for before the game. everytime (including the rain delayed hell of last night) we go to the sox game, we want to tie one on, this is a fairly good place to do so. the beer is not cheap, however, far cheaper then boozing up in fenway. the waitstaff is not only nice, but also understanding, which considering the situation (before the game everyone is balls to the walls, 12 seconds after first pitch this place is a ghost town) they are quick and friendly and apt, all the things a sox-lush needs to get into that groove. think about it, what are your options in this area, BBW? 1.5 hours to wait for a table. cask? no thank you? copperfields? craziness? i think im sticking with unos for pregame, now you are all entitled to an opinion and certainly its always a hit or miss situation, personally, ive had luck here, so im sticking on 18, dealer bust...

Every time my family' or another guest is in town I end up at Uno's with them for at least one meal because it's convenient and has a broad enough selection to satisfy everyone. I really miss the "$5 off a $15 purchase" coupons they gave out in one of the student coupon books. When I had those, we were there biweekly and the manager started recognizing us. Their deep dish pizza is delicious with a sinfully flaky crust, and their Buffalo Bites and Onion Rings are just plain good unhealthy delicious fun.The burgers have a great bun and good fries. The cookie sundae dessert (I forget its name) is also delicious. The food's gotten more greasy lately, though. Or maybe we've gotten older. They are very accommodating of large groups because of their "Dough-Raiser" fundraiser promos they offer for various groups. As an undergrad I was constantly invited to those. Plus I have to give the Uno's staff bonus points for willingly hosting an undergrad drama club's Halloween costume party...in May. I'm not a fan of their seating atmosphere, though. There are too many TVs turned up too loud to too many different channels. And they always tend to stick me in bad spots (next to poles, in awkward rows of tables) even when the restaurant is empty and there are 10 booths open.

This place has some of the best service not only out of any chain i've been to, but out of almost any restaurant! i was there with three kids and on a time crunch and everyone who worked there was very attentive to our needs. that being said, the kitchen staff could use a little work. i ordered a burger. hard to screw up right? well they put too much sauce on. so much that the bread fell apart! everything was slipping and sliding. when i got messier than the children i was with just from eating my burger, i figured it was time to start eating it it a knife and fork (a disgrace i know). also, not wild about their flatbread pizzas at all. i don't know if it's this particular unos or just how it tastes but ew!

Uno's in Kenmore is a bit of a Boston landmark by default. I mean it's on a confusing, massive intersection and is really easy to give directions that include ' yeah, bear right at the Uno's' etc. More importantly this is the place where a lot of families and couples go before Sox games if they don't want to deal with the Cask N' Shitter. It's an Uno's, noting special to review. I personally like Uno's food. The chili is good, I like deep dish pizza and the steak tips are decent. The price is sort of right, but nothing to go bananas over. A few points of interest at this location: - great window seat at the bar that lets you check out who's in line downstairs and who is scalping tix outside -they can get you seated, fed and out in under 30 minutes before a game which can be huge -alternately they can make you wait 30 minutes and another 30 for food if you catch them at a bad time -they don't have the best beer selection in the world -the bathroom tends to be super clean but is home to a lot of pee talkers Overall, not a bay spot for a beer and an app. before a game. Also a handy dandy navigational reference.

If you go to school at BU you've probably done the rounds here. They changed the inside look last year. Personally, I preferred the atmosphere earlier. Now its similar to all other places at Fenway during game season. I really really enjoy their pastas, all of them. The burgers are good too, but there are places close by (NOT McDonalds) with better options. I do wish they delivered though. I don't like facing game season crowd when all I want is some regular food.

Just awful. I came here last night with my BF and ordered to-go. The place was empty and it still took them forever to get the food out. When we got back to the apartment we found out that they left out some major ingredients from our dishes. The veggie burger that should have been "topped with guacamole" had NONE! The cabot aged cheddar burger was NOT "finished with [their] Ultimate Burger Sauce". In fact, it was just a dry burger altogether! I had to go home and take ketchup out of my fridge and drench my burger in that. The avocado egg rolls tasted like one of those frozen aisle apps from the grocery store that you microwave for 4 minutes...yuck. Not to mention they were $9 for two eggrolls cut in half! This place is a total rip off. I'm never eating here again. The only reason why they're still open is probably because of game season.

Bear with me while I get this off my chest; I will never be able to say it too many times. Repeat after me: this pizza is **NOT** real Chicago pizza. It's not. It...really...is...not. It's an embarrassment to the original Pizzeria Uno and Due in downtown Chicago, whose pizzas have more toppings, more cheese, and an even better tasting crust. The "Pizzeria Uno Chicago Bar & Grill" pizza has a thicker, blander crust, and less toppings. It's just not as piled up, not as deep, as the hometown Chicago goodies. Crust is cheaper than toppings, and ya gotta make the franchise owner happy with profits and all, but at what cost? Yes, the Kenmore location has a nice layout and otherwise decent food: plenty of good TV's, good bar, good bar munchies, wonderful energy in the crowd. But, man, the PIZZA. Just call this restaurant chain "Pizzeria Bar and Grill". It might be fine in and of itself, but for god's sake don't equate it with the stuff served in Chicago! Please? Jeez....

I used to work at an Uno's and still think their burgers are the best from any casual dining place...but I just realized that each burger packs 1,400 calories (not including any side)!! Now i'm not the type of girl to give up a favorite food item for health reasons but i'm not suicidal either. If i'm destroying my liver no need to clog the heart as well. The bacon cheeseburger is now reserved for very occasional encounters.

I am in love with the new thin crust pizzas. Mmmm. I have never been a huge fan on their entrees but you have to respect Unos for the pizza. This location is pretty cool too with all the Sox decor. It's good to take Soxs fans to. Also, you cannot argue with the massive cookie cooked in a deep dish pizza pan and served with ice cream and whipped cream. So decadent!

It's Uno's. It's kind gross, it leaves you feeling like crap and yet there are times where you just can't help yourself. The layout sucks. It's always crowded. The bar area is not conducive to drinking or chatting... you always feel rushed. Basically try elsewhere. If you simply can't stand the idea of not having some gross deep dish pizza or huge burgers with fries then this is your spot.

Came here on a rainy Friday afternoon. Bottomless soup is not really bottomless. I got half a bowl of clam chowder and there was no more. For the next hour, they were "still preparing" it. So they basically charged me $6.99 for a half bowl of soup. The small pizza we ordered was still cold when they served it to me (probably because they just took it out of the freezer). I let the waitress know and she brought out another one - which was lukewarm. I don't feel like I had ridiculous expectations. I just wanted some hot soup and pizza. Not too much to ask for. I gave it one star because the waitress was really nice.

As a chain 3 stars. As a place to get wasted before a Sox game 5 stars. So let's just go ahead and give it 4. This is the palce to go before a game. Yes, there are more trendy places but none of those beat this. 22oz drafts for like 7 bucks. That is half of what you are paying at Fenway ladies and gentlemen. Plus when the weather is nice you can sit outside on the sidewalk...well almost, and have a drink. Let the guidos and pink hats half Game On or the Bleacher Bar. I will stick with Unos!

Food aside (it really doesn't taste much different from my favorite Uno's in New Hampshire), EW. The bathrooms were sickening, there was a dude rudely panhandling us while we were seated on the patio MULTIPLE TIMES, and our server basically sucked. The second star is simply for the fact that they HAVE a patio, which is mostly empty (probably because of all the other factors).

I really like their Pizza. The online ordering is especially cool. You can get 2 large deep dish pizzas for $24 bucks and then pick them up in $20 minutes. I live right around the corner so it often comes in handy when I feel like Pizza. I get 2 and save one of them in the fridge for the next day. I've been in there a few times for a beer and the bar seems allright and the staff is friendly. It is cool on game days if you want to be close to Fenway, but avoid the chaos a block down Brookline.

I used to come here because they had this thing called the "express lunch" where you could get a small pizza of the day (deep dish AND thin crust selections) or a few other classic pub items and be out of there in 45 minutes. Then they changed the menu. it's the same food, but no longer "express". So, really, there's not much reason to go there any more. Especially not with Bertucci's right across the street.

Unos is a pretty good place, but every time I go to one at a different location I notice that the service is very poor and the food is either undercooked or overcooked. The food is overall decent, not the bdeset, and the pizza is pretty good (although I had better elsewhere). The drinks are pretty good and it's not bad to sit at the bar and drink. I tried many times to eat at Uno's at various locations; however, it's pretty much the same no matter where I go. Overall this place is good to go to if it's last minute and you are low on cash, but I prefer to try another place in Boston for food.

It's your typical Uno, but on game nights it's a lot of fun. I watched the Sox win the World Series here, and the place was nuts (well, at least for the 60 seconds before everyone ran outside).

I am impressed by this Uno's. I normally don't have a problem with their food and I find that the service at most of their locations is at leas ok. This location did a great job of making me hate them. When I walked in I was a bit worried and I knew it would be great when I saw the lovely table that I got at the entrance to the kitchen. When I was ordering the waitress did let me know that the vegetable side is a wonderful seasonal selection and she didn't know what it was comprised of. hhmm does that mean whatever veggies they have out back that haven't rotted? When asked about the beer selection not only did she not know what they offered, but she didn't know the prices. The steak that I received was very poorly cooked and looked as if someone had gone over it with a shredder before it was served to me. Now things were bad but I was impressed when I received my bill and the check holder had tomato sauce encrusted on the back. The straight-chain restaurant What's good-there are locations that are good The slap-the staff at this location seem incapable of serving people properly and are a danger to society. Don't do it. Go to another location

I don't usually choose an Uno's to eat it and am not wowed by anything on there menu- however this location is KEY for when you're heading to a game. You can always get a table before a game (i've found in the 5 times I've been right before a game weekends and weekdays). They've got great just a quick bite choices and their pizzas are good. Avoid the lines at Game On and Beer Works and head down here- believe me you'll be happy you did!

Great pizzas, great service. And the right price!! I tried their classic pizza the first time I went to Unos, and the thin crust the second time. Both were delish! I have no problem recommending this place or coming here again!

I always wished their menu had more vegetarian options, but that aside I think everything is pretty good. I mean when you go to Uno's you aren't expecting some world class eating experience. But everytime I have gone to Kenmore location I have had fast, good, attentive, courteous service. One thing I like about this chain is that they post their calories on their website and in the restaurant- so if you are watching what you eat you can be informed and make a better choice. Their flatbread pizzas have so much less calories than the deep dish pizzas, and they are still good. For appetizers the breadsticks or the nachos are good. And for dessert their chocolate chip cookie and brownie desserts are so amazing. And now they added 3 mini desserts- so much better calorie wise. I actually split the mini brownie with a friend the last time I went- it was only like 2 bites, but it was warm and perfect, topped with vanilla ice cream. So yeah, don't be hatin' on Uno's there are so many worse chains.

Definitely not a fan of Uno's anywhere, and this one is no exception. One would think that because it's in Kenmore Sq, right near Fenway, that it would have a little better service...but no. Let down again by them. I don't really like Uno's food, but to make it worse, the cooks mess up a little too frequently. The servers aren't that good either. I am not sure why I have gone back enough to realize this, but I have. It's close, what can I say.

The only thing I ever get at Uno's is the Cheese Burger, but this is still an OK place to come to during a Sox game... if all the usual places are full.

Ha...well...I actually thought the pizza was good. My boneless buffalo wings sucked. The beer selection was tolerable. I guess I'm giving a point because the bar's a good place to watch a game.

Unos is a great place to grab a burger or one of their delicious pizzas. It's usually packed after a Red Sox game. Unos is also pretty cheap. You can get a salad and an individual size pizza for less than $15. Great for a casual lunch or dinner. I recommend the BBQ Chicken Pizza.

First and foremost, the points are for the air conditioning in the summer. The food is good too though. Great place to watch the baseball game. Try the appetizer with the shrimp fondue-ish thing...its way good.

Fairly typical for a Uno's as far as food and pricing This Uno's however, has the Fenway.Boston Red Sox feeling since it is directly in Kenmore Square. The staff is super friendly and the bar makes some amazing drinks. I would, however, steer clear directly before or after a Red Sox game as it gets super busy at those times.
