Simply the best coffee in Boston, and a plus that it's a local business. I have stopped going to Starbucks altogether (unless I am out of town). Service is very friendly and helpful.

Stopped him for a coffee on what I'm guessing was their 2nd day open. They occupy a long dormant retail space along the outside of 260 Franklin Street. The 2 guys working there were very friendly. They did an amazing job with the space, it looks like a very modern cafe, definitely somewhere you could feel comfortable sitting at for a while. Most retail/food businesses would shun the tinted glass but it seems to fit the look here. I got the Flat White latte, which they told me was a stronger (Australian) version of a latte, it was excellent.

Great Ashmont hang, close to the T and my bank. They have a good selection of teas and I hear the coffee is great.

Great chai tea lattes - I've been here a few times and that's about the only thing I ever really get. Nice little coffee shop in the financial district. They also have free wifi, so sometimes I bring my laptop here to get some work done for a couple of hours.

I've been here many times. All of beverages I got are really great! Espresso has strong taste, love it! Highly recommend!

Excellent coffee and espresso drinks, plus a decent loose leaf tea list. This location is large and very bright, with tables that remind me of a corporate cafeteria - the best way to describe the atmosphere is sterile. The nearby location on Broad Street has much more character, and since they serve the exact same drinks, it's worth the walk over to Broad Street if you care about the atmosphere and aesthetic of the place. One benefit of the Franklin St. location is that it is bigger, so you have a better chance of snagging a table.

This place is amazing. Period. End of story. The staff is awesome and happy to talk shop with you if they don't have a line to the door - as they frequently do. A must try is the cold brewed coffee. Not usually one for iced coffee, I have to say that this was the best coffee I've ever had, temperature be damned! I had the Ethiopian cold brew, specifically (there are a whole bunch of different kinds to choose from) and it was amazing. Perfectly in balance and didn't need cream or sugar. I have never appreciated a cup of coffee so much. They also have some wraps in the fridge (I think they're new?) and it was pretty good. I'm ecstatic I can now count this place as a lunch option when time is short and I need my coffee buzz. The prices are a little higher than what is typical, but it is 100% worth it. Seriously.

I like to think that due to my insistence, they put a LARGE cold-brew iced coffee on the menu. It's worth every penny of the 5 and change you're forkin' over.

I'm so glad this place opened, because I needed a new coffee place in my life. I wish I could give them 4.5 stars, but as we all know, Yelp doesn't do half-ratings. This place is pretty much a block from my office, and I come here almost every afternoon. The coffees and teas are better than at Starbucks, Au Bon Pain, Sips, and every other place that serves coffee in the Financial District (to say nothing of Dunkin Donuts). l don't get blown away consistently by what I get, but everything I've ordered *has* been better than at the other coffee places around my work, and I'm much more willing to shell out the $4 or whatever it is for a latte. (Tip: Try the Ethiopian Harar. Just do it. I'm no coffee connoisseur but it tastes sort of chocolatey with pleasant blueberry notes.) The service is exemplary. The people here love coffee. Love talking about it, love sharing their passion with others in the most welcoming way. They don't have much in the way of food, but I do like their scones (the prosciutto asiago is my fave). I was talking with one of the people here and happened to mention that I thought their scones were amazing. In response, he said, "Oh, then you have to try the pecan cranberry bread we have here! It's maybe the cheapest thing on the menu, but also probably one of the best things. Here, it's on the house." You've gotta love that kind of service. Plus, the bread was delicious. (No match for the scones, I felt, but what can I say?)

I went in for a cup of coffee and left with a college degree in coffee! A "Trifecta"..I said what's that? Well, I got the history of coffee, catered to like a queen and the best dame cup of coffee I've ever had. I'll walk the extra 2 blocks for this coffee.
