This place is amazing. Get the vegan caesar and the sliders!

The best beet juice ever! Great selection. Great people. Great juice. Woooooo hooooo

They get five stars not only for being the most unique stand-alone business in town, but also for being darn good at what they do. Nowhere else in the downtown area are you going to find this kind of prepared meal. Delicious fresh juices, quinoa breakfast bowls, and gluten-free sandwiches and salads to-go; there's simply no competition for this business. They are truly the only game in town at the moment. Granted, they had the misfortune of losing a lot of foot traffic when Government Center Station closed within a couple months of their grand opening, but they seem to be doing just fine without it. I hope this business makes it through the year, as they offer a one-of-a-kind service at a fairly reasonable price point.

I've had acai bowls from some different places now and Cocobeets' acai bowl is by far the best! Their homemade vanilla granola was perfect with the acai. Also the guy taking our order was super nice and friendly. He answered any and all questions we had and gave us suggestions. Can't wait to go back and get another!

Wow! I was absolutely thrilled to find this place and loved what they have to offer. At first I was a bit off put that the smoothies were not made upon demand, but rather pre-packaged in plastic containers. But I went with it and boy am I glad I gave them a try. I LOVED the Chocolate Power Mylk and the Banana Chia. The Chocolate Power Milk had a superb deep chocolate taste, one that I favor any day. It was delicious. The Banana Chia was equally delicious, but I must warn you that you need to keep these puppies super cold, as when they start to warm in flavor it's not as yummy. I went out on a limb and tried the Raw Zucchini Basil Pesto and I have to say I thought it was absolutely to die for. I gobbled that up in a manner of minutes. I am a pretty tough critic and I can whole heartedly recommend this gem. The only bummer is that I live on the West Coast and I can not eat here more often. I would LOVE one of these store in the Los Angeles area!!! Super fresh tasting, super delicious, and a great healthy alternative. Give this place I try. My guess, you will be glad you did. 5 stars and then some.......
(5)Ariel Z.
Not cheap at all, but why is it so good?! I wouldn't say I would do the whole juice cleanse thing because I would probably die. The Peruvian Sun drink is definitely the way to go if you are not an experienced juicer like me, since it is on the fruitier side. However, I prefer more earthy tastes as well, so the Blue Coconut is probably more up my alley. Will have to try that one on my next visit. The curried chickpea salad was AMAZ-ING. I wish I could eat it everyday! I was surprised at how filling it was, too, since I'm the type of girl that eats salads and end up more hungry than when I started....I know, tough life when it comes to trying to eat healthy ;p But the absolute one thing that I now cannot live without is their Vanilla Berry Chia Pudding. The creamy, coconut-y concoction is balanced by the tang and slight sweetness of the berries (mix of strawberries, raspberries, and blackberries). On top of that, the chia seeds provide a nice gel-like texture, sort of reminiscent of rice pudding. So, for the juice + salad + pudding I spent a whopping $28.00! Yikes. I'm glad I went here BEFORE going shopping down at Prudential. If you really want to save your hard-earned cash, I would recommend just getting one juice to last you two days and the pudding. But if you can afford the whole shebang or want to give yourself a treat, go right ahead! You definitely won't regret it.

Love everything about this place so far and I'd highly recommend for some fresh juices and smoothies all made from organic produce. Try not to bring a car around this area as parking might be difficult but definitely an awesome place to check out if you're around the area. I've tried kale karma and it's very refreshing! You can really taste the pear and greens and the natural flavors of all the Ingredients combined!
(5)Mary M.
I was in town for work and stopped in for a juice and the chai seed pudding. Omg, so amazing that I made time to go back the next day to stock up for the rest of the week. The man working there was super helpful. He offered me samples of the juices and was interested I'm helping me find what I wanted. To the people who gave this place less than 5 stars due to price, get a grip. You should know to get quality ingredients, you will have to pay more. I'm in Boston several time per year and I look forward to going back!
(5)James B.
I started with a 3 day cleanse a year ago when they first opened, and i gotta say it rocked my world. Started off skeptical, but this place is the only organic coldpress shop in the city that refues to use high preassure pasturization to prolong shelf life like most off the shelf cleanses. Hpp greatly reduces the freshness and nutrient content of the product. after changing some habits i def noticed the difference in my general health and well being. So i recently tried a 2 week transition plan and its been great! My personal favorites are kick start, green genes which has to be the best green drink in town, and banana chia. Their food options are growing as well, the quinoa bowls sandwiches and salads are clutch when im on the go!

The heaven of juices.

Amazing spot! Equally amazing or even more so! Then my favorite spot in NYC (Organic Avenue). So why do I love it? 1. ORGANIC!!! Organic is very important especially when it comes to juices. While I was at a store the owner was refilling the shelves and we got to chat, it was a breeze of fresh air to hear someone passionate about purchasing only organic produce and caring for quality. Disclosure: there were few items that were not organic, but they made it very clear! So if you are seeking organic - rest assure at this store they won't mislead you on what is and what is not organic. Very important! With a number of shops that simply mislead on that. 2. Taste: delicious. Great combo of ingredients! To hit your taste buds :-). 3. Food: I love that they offer salads, sandwiches, deserts and stuff like that. It's great cause it make it one stop shop for lunch! 4. Customer service: friendly, and more importantly knowledgeable about what they sell, and what goes in into what they sell. Big plus. 5. modern, clean, fashionable spot :-). So definitely this one of the few places in Boston that I love now.

I have historically been a random juice shopper in the supermarkets but never been able to sustain a regular stock of juices for me to drink. Thankfully the arrival of Cocobeet means that I now have a fridge that contains a variety of juices which i love and drink regularly. I buy the cleanse and detox juices and have them delivered and I am thrilled by the quality, effectiveness, variety and nutritional content of cocobeat juices. i can't rate the products highly enough and the fact that they are delivered to me at my home makes my life simple. I am a complete worshipper of the products that Cocobeet offers and have recommended the company and their products to all my friends who are avidly buying them too. Good luck to this innovative and inspirational company I hope they go from success to success. p.s there salads and sandwiches are also so yummy :)
(5)Lily P.
Obsessed would be an understatement. This is the only place in Boston that I am willing to drop ten dollars on juice. The ingredients are all organic and the juice is cold-pressed in house everyday - everything I've tried is amazing, but I usually get Green Genes, mostly because I also juice at home but juicing greens is the biggest pain. The food options are also extremely fresh and delicious. The one thing you HAVE to get is the vanilla berry chia seed pudding - it is unreal. Take it from someone who has tried chia seed pudding everywhere and also makes it at home, you have never tasted anything like this. It is soooooo yummy it actually tastes like dessert. I could eat it every single day. Yes - this place is pricey but the quality is top-notch. Juice will cost the same almost anywhere else and the quality won't even compare, most of the "fresh" juices on the shelves of whole foods have probably already lost at least half their nutritional value by the time they are consumed. Cocobeet also has a rewards program which just requires your phone number (sooo much easier than carrying around a dumb punch card). On top of all that, the co-founder who I always see there, Onur, is the nicest guy EVER and is always happy to answer questions or talk juice/health/nutrition. I absolutely love this place and feel like it meets a serious need in Boston for healthy, organic food options.
(5)Allison L.
Good at what it does, but not up my alley. We came here on Sunday, kind of surprised it was open. Well it was open, but they had sold out of a lot of items, and don't offer their full menu on Sunday--just so you're aware. No bowls, rolls, etc. Everything we had was really good (quinoa balls, brownie bites, best kale chips I've ever had), although some of the salad greens were turning yellow, which is a bit disappointing considering how much you're paying. The thing I really couldn't wrap my mind around, and am surprised no one mentioned, is the sheer amount of plastic boxes and other packaging used in their take-away items. Most of us who are vegan care about the environment, and it just doesn't seem right that doing a good thing for animals and your body should have to involve so much plastic waste. Even if it's recyclable. I hope they find a way to change this. This is the type of place I'll probably splurge on occasionally (putting aside my packaging guilt) but can't see myself visiting often.
(3)Katie G.
I love this place. When my brother comes to visit his nephew Cocobeet is a daily event for him. Love the green juice and the vegan balls and it is jut a great place to come! Katie
(5)Nicole S.
I was looking forward to having Cocobeet for a while. The eagerly awaited its opening and I'm glad that I have been able to experience it now. Located right outside Government Center T stop, it's a quick stop on my way into work for a juice. The juices are cold pressed and filled with organic fruits and vegetables. They are pricey when each juice comes in just over $10 including tax but I think they are worth it when they substitute a lunch on a busy day. The guys there are so friendly, helpful, and informative. I've chatted with them regarding breastfeed and they have been able to suggest juices that contain a variety of fruits and vegetables that promote milk production. That kind of knowledge is specific and extremely helpful. Stop by and grab a juice to try something great for your body.
(5)Ellen H.
I definitely like Cocobeet, a lot, and I appreciate their attention to detail when it comes to putting the right thing in your body and still making it yummy. The quinoa sliders and smoothies are great examples of this delicious balance. The staff is friendly, the place is impeccably clean, food is fresh and there's a decent variety for the very small niche in which they specialize. This place would get 5 stars from me if the prices weren't quite SO outrageous. $20 for a meager lunch isn't really that appetizing. I splurge here and there because it really is great, healthy food... But only the filthy rich could eat here every day. (With that said, I do understand the cost of maintaining such fresh options, vegan and organic choices, so if they can still do a good business with the high prices, more power to them!) I will certainly continue to frequent when I can afford it!
(4)Rachel P.
So happy this just opened by my office! Downtown has really been lacking in healthy lunch options. The juices are delicious and so fresh. I've tried a couple of their side items- the vegan mac and cheese and veggie maki is delicious. It's very clean inside and the people there are so friendly. The only reason i'm not giving 5 stars is that it's very expensive. I know it's organic and fresh ingredients, but the juice I get is $10. To get that and a food side is a pretty pricey lunch. Guess my wallet's going to take a hit because this will be a regular, especially when the weather warms up!
(4)Lily G.
I am absolutely OBSESSED with this place. I went for the first time about a week ago and cannot get enough of it. I've had the Acai bowls which are amazing. I get them around 8:40am and I'll be satisfied until at least 1:00pm - I don't have cravings or anything! The bowls are pretty massive and delicious. Well worth the $$. I've tried the acai bowl from Jugo and it does not compare its smaller and more expensive and definitely not nearly as tasty. I've also had the Juices and the Quinoa bites as well as the Basil Pesto Pasta. Again everything is absolutely delicious!
(5)Martyna P.
I had a great experience with Cocobeet when I decided to do a cleanse. $65 for a one day reroot cleanse. The staff was extremely helpful, they designed a cleanse just for me (I have a few food intolerances), marked every bottle suggesting when I should drink it (so helpful!). It truly was the best cleanse I've ever done. My understanding is that both of the owners are very knowledgable about nutrition which shows in their cleanse. It wasn't just drinking juices all day. It was designed to keep me full, energized, and detoxing. Awesome!!!
(5)Sara F.
Hands down the best juices in Boston. I usually stop here on my way home from my workout (one of the only juice places open past 7) and grab a smoothie. The Banana Chia is by far my favorite, also love the Blue Coconut. Haven't ventured into trying many others because I love these two so much- I am sure they are all great. Food is also delicious. Onur, the owner, is wonderful and his staff is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. The prices are definitely a bit high but totally worth it - highly recommend this place!
(5)Emily S.
I really like Cocobeet. I work right next to it so while we were waiting patiently for Cocobeet to open we browsed over the menu and plans for the store frequently. I was really disappointed when they opened up and decided to not offer freshly made smoothies and juices. The pre-made drinks are still good but they lack the appeal that originally drew me in. I sometimes wonder how much of my $10.25 is going toward the fancy bottle. But I appreciate the listing of high quality ingredients and the list of current organics being used. My top favorites are the Forbidden Juice and Apricot High.
(4)Steve S.
I am writing this review after volunteering at a camp and eating nothing but crap. Then again, it is what most people eat like processed sugar, dairy, meat by products, GMO fruit and little or no veggies. I feel gross I am not a juicer, but appreciate how much goes into a juice. You have to juice a ton of kale, spinach, celery and cucumber for a single juice. Cocobeet has a ton of different juices all designed for different interests. The food is also fresh, honest and delicious. Try the chia pudding. Its fantastic and filling. My one small gripe is these juices are already made, not freshly prepared. However, the ingredients are healthy...which is something I need
(4)Whitney L.
Fantastic place - I absolutely adore it. - Friendly, helpful staff - Welcoming, clean, organized atmosphere - HUGE selection of juices, smoothies and foods - Well priced given the quality of ingredients (organic and local whenever possible) and flavors My favorite items: - Quinoa sliders - Kale chips - Chia pudding - Kick Start juice - Solar Power smoothie It's the only great healthy vegan option in the area - perfect for breakfast, lunch, snack. Not designed to sit down in (more grab-n-go), though it's large enough to stand around in (if it's not too crowded) and there are some benches in the windows. Located near the T and I found meter parking a few blocks away.
(5)Inês L.
Eep! So expensive. Granted, it's all raw, organic, and delicious but wow! Coming from NYC, these prices even made ME jump.
(3)Jilly B.
Walked in for a quick drink, the young lady at the counter was extremely helpful. I eventually grabbed the watermelon quench. Absolutely Delish! Will be back for many more. Note, not the place for a cheap juice drink but the price is definitely worth it.

When I received my dream job offer from a company based in New York City, one of my first thoughts about moving was "but what will I do without Cocobeet?!" Seriously, this place is amazing. I used to work directly above it, and ate here any time I had to work late or needed a little pick me up. Onur and Kyle are incredible. They are nice and friendly, and extremely knowledgeable about nutrition. This place opened up about a week after I made the switch to being a vegetarian/mostly vegan and it was basically a godsend. Is it expensive? Yes! But everything is organic and local when possible, and more importantly everything is made with love and care (the secret ingredients). I've never been disappointed with anything I've had from here, but a few of my absolute favorites were the blue coconut and kale karma smoothies, green genes juice, key lime tartlet, quinoa sliders, kale and microgreens salad, and the avocado, cucumber, and tomato sandwich. Seriously though, you can't go wrong. Vegans, vegetarians, and meat eaters alike will love this place for their delicious food, friendly service, and healthy choices. Now that I'm officially living in New York, I have dreams of Cocobeet (franchise opportunities in NYC??) and am extremely jealous of anyone in the Boston area who can (AND SHOULD) take full advantage of this place whenever possible.
(5)Michelle H.
I've been searching for a juice to compete with my favorite juice back in NYC and I think I've finally found it at Cocobeet! The Forbidden Juice is my absolute FAVORITE! It could be my favorite purely because I never want to try any other juice because I love it so much. I have only sampled the other juices and as far as I can tell, they're delicious as well. After reading through some of the comments on here, some people comment that they don't like how these are bottled juices as opposed to freshly made on the spot. I actually prefer them being bottled so it ensures they are cold, no wait time, and easy re-sealable bottle to grab and go! Also, being made that morning is fresh enough for me. I'm really looking forward to trying the Spice-C, Happy Day, Banana Chia and Shake the Tree. That is, if I ever get the courage to pass up on a Forbidden Juice! Random unrelated side note: I love their branding as well. Such a cute logo.
(5)Jeff F.
Kale Karma and other juices for 10 bucks is pricey. Not sure if there's a big market for $10 juices in Boston but we'll find out. Would be great to have half sizes for half the cost.
(4)Alex V.
I having nothing new to add. I got the Blueberry Coconut one and I loved it. The price is the only negative about this place but you really do get high quality so in my opinion it was worth it. Also, the pictures here do make the bottles like gigantic (like some of the ones you see at the supermarket) but it's not that big. Maybe that's just me. Oh, & they gave me an ice pack to keep it cool in the bag! TL;DR: It will make you feel good but it'll cost ya.
(5)MaryLynne G.
So, I wanted to find out what all the fuss is about this juicing trend. You see all the pictures on instagram of people juicing and it looks so healthy and delicious! Meanwhile, I had to go down to city hall to renew my parking sticker so I figured, hey, might as well try Coco Beet - reviews are great! When I went in I was greeted by two workers who explained that you can't customize anything as it takes 15 hours to cold-press the juices. Fine - makes sense. However, they also don't allow you to taste any of the juices to see which one you like. Annoying, but I go with it. I choose a juice that seems to have a good mix of vegetables and fruits (the Green Gene), pay ($10.09 with tax, yikes!), and leave. I get outside, take a sip, and almost spit it out. It tasted so bitter and was definitely not something I'd want to drink, let alone pay over ten dollars to drink! Now, maybe I picked the "wrong" flavor - I don't know...there were definitely more fruity looking options that could have been better, but at a place where you are paying this much, shouldn't every flavor be at least drinkable? I got home, showed my husband the bottle, and he couldn't believe how small it was for $10. Definitely NOT going back. I'm all for being healthy, but I'd rather make my own smoothies and juices at home for much less money, and with much better flavor.

* Year start, anticipation bubbled over to see what new business was being deconstructed/reconstructed by Gov Center. To my wondering eye's surprise that new store front said vegan foods inside. Looking back at my bank statement, I see a hearty chunk of tax refundages spent on the sampling of artfully made take out cuisine of Cocobeet. I've tried recreating some of my favorites (...no where as tart/creamy/tangy/or/decadent...) Key Lime Tart, Quinoa Sliders with Creamy Chipotle dipping sauce, Chocolate Mylk. I admit I love everything with the most fat content and creamy textures best, but don't get me wrong their juices are quite filling and tasty too. Spice-C lifted me from sickness despair. The owners are quite nice and totally passionate about their product. Working day in and day out to bring you the freshest, mostly organic, mostly gluten free noms *
(5)Shanna B.
Considering there is a limited amount of healthy places to eat in Boston, this was a great find! They are mostly organic and vegan offering great cold pressed juice blends. Try the chocolate power mylk made with cacao, it's amazing.
(5)Scott P.
Could be the healthiest thing you put in your body. Raw, unpasteurized, organic, and cold pressed. It is very expensive at $9.50 for a 17oz bottle. But, then I was thinking if I bought all the different organic fruits and vegetables it took to make 17 oz of juice it would cost more than $9.50. I tried the kick start. At first it tastes like swamp water, but then mellows out. It had a lingering ginger bite to it. Great drinks after a night of partying and abusing your body.
(4)Holly C.
This place is wonderful. it's a short walk from where I work, so back before we were buried under mountains of snow, I was here quite a bit. Great juices and food! Looking forward to when the snow melts and I can go back...see you in June, maybe??
(5)Dana P.
Love, love, love Pure Cocobeet! It's so nice to finally have a vegan and gluten free juice bar in Boston! Amazing juices, smoothies, raw truffles, salads, sides and more. Rotating juice and smoothie flavors. In love with the Blue Coconut Smoothie! The owner is super friendly and made a special immunity boosting shot for me as I'm recovering from a bug. The store is very clean, well organized and the staff is super friendly. Love that their products are organic and non-GMO! They also source local ingredients, whenever possible! Wonderful addition to downtown Boston!
(5)Alexa R.
Love Cocobeet. The staff is super friendly and very knowledgeable about the cold-pressed juices and smoothies. Most of the food is organic and gluten free and they will tell what isn't. I've had two smoothies there and they were both exactly what I needed. The quinoa bites are also delicious.
(5)Jan R.
The thought of drinking bitter veggies in a drink has not ever appealed to me on a desirable level. When my healthy friend (you know who you are) suggested we stop and get a "refreshing drink" I did not expect my cup would be filled with green thick liquid. Although I was a sceptic I tried it. I have to be honest. I loved it. I had the Green Genes that she swore by. I liked the little spicyness it gave me at the end with the refreshingness of the lemon you don't even notice the bitter kale and spinach. I got some to go I liked it so much and that speaks a lot of praise.
(5)Allan M.
When I first noticed "Cocobeet," I became curious. Juicing is trendy these days, and I had no idea what to expect. I walked in one day, and I was warmly greeted. As I began to look at the juices and food available, trying to filter out the non-vegan options, the gentleman behind the counter informed me that everything in Cocobeet is vegan, and nearly all food options are gluten free (with the exception of the sandwiches). Also, all of their juice ingredients are ORGANIC! With that clarification, I was instantly hooked. Finally a place I can go that suits my vegetarian desires! The juices at Cocobeet are astounding! I'm pleased to know that their juices are cold-pressed, which means I'm getting the most nutrients for my body and my buck! My favorite juice is the "Peruvian Sun," which contains sweet potato, carrots, lemon, lime, and maca! It's naturally sweet and always refreshing. I can drink Peruvian Sun all day every day (and at the rate I'm going, I will). They also have lots of green juices with kale that are also sweet, but my favorite green juice is "Bright Lights," which is swiss chard, cucumber, mint, and e3 Live; it's the kind of juice for those mornings when my palate doesn't crave something sweet, but something minty and vibrant to awaken my senses! The granola they make is a great snack, and all of the sandwiches are delicious. It seems that Cocobeet strives to make food that is not only nutritious, but also delicious. I haven't had one bad experience with the food there. Most places that serve vegan food load their dishes with salt. Cocobeet loads their food with flavor! My lunch item of choice is the quinoa burger on arugula. It has this side of spicy almond spread that's absolutely delightful. Some of their sandwiches have avocado served with an almond hummus, which is also very tasty. Anyway, if you're a vegan, food-purist, or just interested in tasty healthy food, check out Cocobeet. Everyone there is warm and welcoming, as well as very knowledgeable about their products. We definitely need more local businesses like this, especially downtown, which is overrun with corporate, processed food. Cocobeet is pretty sweet!

I have been silly excited for this place to open. It is the overpriced, organic, hip (not hippie) take-out joint that Boston has been dying for. It's sort of absurd that every other major city everywhere has a plethora of vegan options, and Boston's are relegated to Allston and Cambridge. I work very close by (and live not too far away, either), so I've been passing by, peering in the windows, and "liking" everything they've been posting on Facebook for the past few weeks, since it's right up my yuppie, plant-based alley. Yesterday, I passed by and noticed the plastic was taken down from the windows, so I cautiously went in. They had a few salads, juices, and other items in the refrigerator cases, and told me they were working on the rest of the food, but couldn't wait to open any longer. I got myself a Green Energy salad, a Blue Coconut smoothie, and a bowl of Tomato Chia Chili, which totaled around $25. I chatted with the owners(?) as they scrambled trying to find cups, utensils, and the like. They were very nice, excited for their new business, and seemed to want my input. They also (embarrassingly) recognized my name from Facebook. They rang me up on their iPad cash register, and I was on my way. The smoothie was tasty, and I was pleased that the salad had a half an avocado and some delicious (slightly spicy!) dressing. The chili was hearty and healthy, containing chia and shiitake mushrooms, I believe. I certainly can't afford to eat there every day, but I'll absolutely be back.
(5)Kristine A.
Holy geez batman, this is mighty tasty stuff you have here. But you are also paying out the wazoo for it & don't know if it's really worth it. It's great to have a raw, vegan establishment but you pay through the nose. Worth checking out though.
(4)Amy N.
Absolutely wonderful, healthy, fresh, and refreshing. I ordered the quinoa, which was healthy and yummy. I also got the Blue Coconut. Now THIS you gotta try! This was so delightful. The staff was friendly, and I'm excited about them potentially opening more locations! I'll definitely come back again if I am in the area.
(5)Mike X.
Incredibly friendly, helpful and professional staff - Cocobeet is exactly what Downtown (especially the Gov't Center area) needed! There is nothing else like it in the area. I am a huge fan of the shakes, especially my daily go-tos Kale Karma (Kale, Pear + skin, Pineapple, Lemon, Probiotic) & Green Monkey (Kale, Banana, Apple, Orange, Lemon and Kiwi). Absolutely delicious. They have food options as well, but I have yet to try any. I hope for Cocobeet's continued success as a healthy option Downtown. Highly recommend.
(5)Brynn S.
I can't say enough good things about Cocobeet. I would drink their juices everyday if I could. Sure, they're a little expensive, but they're totally worth it--both in terms of flavor and nutritional benefit. All other juice bars in the area pale in comparison. If you appreciate the difference between cold-pressed unpasteurized juices and the conventional stuff, you'll love Cocobeet. The only downside? Its really hard to choose which juices to get. They're all great.
(5)Kevin H.
Very high quality, but also a little high priced, but i enjoyed it very much.
(4)Pat H.
Perhaps you are like me; before I go on a diet, I spend everyday over-eating, self justifying in the McDonalds drive through line with comments like 'well, when I start my diet next week I won't be able to eat this so might as well eat it now...'. The problem is the diet slips from week to week but the bad eating doesn't. I've even noticed that as I get older, it gets increasingly harder to flip the switch and start eating well. Thank the dickens that I still have a modicum of self control which lead me to search 'juice cleanses' on the web where I found Cocobeet. Gov Center is a quick trip for me (parking is def a pia though) and I showed up yesterday morning. The owner, named Onur, was extremely helpful and walked me through products and the science behind their process. All items are made on site, organic and cold pressed. He obviously could tell that I was relatively new to this type of lifestyle and that I wasn't a practicing Vegan or Vegitarian and didn't come across as judgmental or preachy. It was all about being healthy AND being successful. I didn't want to feel starved all the time for the sake of my family... I get a condition I call Hangry (Hungry and Angry) when I try to go healthy. He walked me through the options and built a plan our for me, selecting the juices and a couple of meals for a 3 day cleanse. I'm writing this on day 2 and I have to say I'm really happy. The juices were incredibly fresh and tasty (disclaimer- yes, the Green Juice tastes like Green juice...but that is the point...it's not a strawberry milkshake...mmmmmm, strawberry milkshakes). All the juices were perfect for what they need to be...the Banana Chia was the last drink of the night and actually was like a milkshake(....mmmm, milkshakes). The meals were also delicious and filling- I had the Quinoa Burgers with spicy almond paste for lunch and the Mediterranean Salad for dinner. Today I'm down to one meal- Kale and Microgreens salad with cashew cheese, and the rest juice. I head back tonight for my final day of all juice...I say final but I'll probably go for another 2 days! I haven't been. Lastly about the money. Take it from a habitual Health Food Poser...I have cleaned out my entire fridge, throwing away every single item and replaced it with over $600 of organic veggies and food from Whole Foods for one week only to cave two days later and take the family out for Mexican(...mmmmm, mexican) while bushels of Kale liquified in the crisper drawer. I've done this at least 3 to 4 times a year for 10 years (yes, wicked hangry). It is WAY more expensive to try and eat like this on your own, and more wasteful...at least in my case. The important thing is to keep trying. Perhaps you are not like me. Perhaps you are already a vegetarian/vegan super healthy awesome person. Good for you. Go here it's right up your alley.

I love this place. I'm still trying to get through all of the different juice/smoothie flavors, but they are all delicious so far. The owner, when he's there, is incredibly friendly, as is his entire staff. They are always helpful with questions (and I have plenty since I'm new to these types of products) and friendly. It is very pricey at ~$10/bottle, that's true, but in-line with other juice places, and simply a function of the fact that making the product is expensive. I'll be back often, and I highly recommend trying it out. The chocolate power milk is my favorite!

So is $10 a reasonable price for fresh, quality organic juice? In a word...YES. I'm a recent convert to the juicing lifestyle and couldn't be happier about my decision to get healthy and I have to thank Cocobeet for helping me get there. It helps that I work a block away from their Gov't Center location but I find myself taking trips into the city on weekends just to swing by and stock up for a few days. My journey into the juicing lifestyle started with my cousin recommending that I check a movie called Fat, Sick & Nearly Dead. After watching it I popped into Cocobeet for the first time & picked up a Kickstart. My current favorite juices are their Forbidden Juice & Green Genes and my go to smoothie is the Banana Chia. I've also tried out most of the organic food they have to offer and really like the Vegan Maki, Quinoa Burgers and their Chia Berry Pudding. I've noticed that I have sustained energy throughout the day and don't crash like I used to around 3pm after a big lunch. I've also lost a few pounds and haven't had a migraine since I started on this journey. So is the juicing lifestyle right for you? I honestly have no idea - that's your call but I do know that I love it & Cocobeet is definitely the best place I've found to pick up the best tasting and freshest juice/smoothie/food around. Plus they're super friendly and will spend the time to learn about you & your health goals.

I'm on the juicing bandwagon and it is really difficult to find healthy quick grab and go food, so I was thrilled when I heard about Cocobeet. I assumed the juice would be made to order but when I got there I saw there was a fridge with many kinds of juices, smoothies, salads, and sandwiches. That was fine with me considering I wasn't in the mood to wait in line. I was in and out very quickly. I got the beet, apple, carrot ginger juice since it's not something I see myself making at home. It was drinkable, although I can't say it was that tasty, but I'm sure some of the others are. They have samples that you can try before you take the plunge and invest a whopping $9+ on juice. Overall I would say its great if you're looking for something healthy, but I wouldn't go as far as saying the food and juice tastes amazing. I was disappointed that the food and drinks aren't made to order, but I'm okay with that considering that it's as quick and easy to buy food there as it is to go to 7-11 and buy chips. The main reason I only gave it three stars is the price. I realize that commercial real estate rentals are insanely high, but I still wasn't happy about paying $18 for a small sandwich and juice. For that reason alone I probably will only go back once in a blue moon.

While in Boston eating wonderful Italian meals in the North End we decided to clean the diet up a bit during breakfast and lunch and stumbled upon a small take out place near the government center that specializes in a selection of raw and vegetarian sandwiches and salads, smoothies and juices. Not only do the sandwiches, salads and juices taste great but they're made of mostly local organic ingredients and taste awesome! We stopped by at breakfast time and I ordered the quinoa breakfast cereal consisting of quinoa, almonds, berries, maple and cashew mylk and my husband had the same with granola instead of quinoa. Both were great! The owner is knowledgeable and the juices are great. If you live in Boston and want to do a juice detox this would be the place to go. Very tasty, fresh juices!
(5)Myla G.
I loved going to this place while I was serving jury duty downtown for a 2-week trial. It's such a great and healthy alternative to the other options in the area, especially if you are a glutenfree vegetarian like me! It's pricy since it's downtown and fresh, organic ingredients, but as a treat or if you can afford it, totally worth it in my opinion.
(5)Corey B.
My first time visiting this place ironically I was referred by a Starbucks employee while purchasing a non cold pressed juice. Kyle was great he welcomed me an assisted me in finding what I needed . A must check do yourself a favor and DO IT.
(5)Jenna K.
This place is great! Juices are always very fresh and tasty. The pieces are a bit high, but about the same as everywhere else. The chia pudding is so amazing. Only downside is that they don't stock a lot of their pre-made juices, so I would highly recommend calling if you want something particular.
(5)Diana T.
Seriously delicious. The pitaya and mocha smoothies are amazing. I love that their combinations are so different/interesting but works!
(5)Kendall S.
Besides the sheer expense of this place, the juices are great! The plus side is that you really do get what you pay for. If you read the juice labels, 5 pounds of produce go into each juice - that's a lot! Friendly and knowledgeable staff who were able to answer any questions. Great location on the way from downtown to Quincy Market. Visited twice in 48 hours and had the Green Genes, the Survival Kit, and Bright Lights. All were delicious and refreshing. Wish I could afford to go there all the time!
(5)Gitte S.
This is one place I've gone that I've loved everything I have tried. The banana chia smoothie is amazing, I love the chia pudding, and the Forbidden Juice. I've actually had to restrain myself from going more often because I would be living on the streets.
(5)Dan W.
Great healthy drinks and food at reasonable prices! I started each day in Boston with a quinoa bowl and a Kale Karma. I highly recommend this place!
(5)Cynthia S.
I picked up the most delicious salad here yesterday, Kale and Microgreens, the cashew paste was so flavorful! I also had the vanilla chia pudding, which was fabulous! Nutrient rich and delicious, reminded me of the tapioca pudding I used to make before I was dairy-free and gluten-free. This is my new favorite place! I hope they open up more locations around the city!
(5)Sarah V.
Awesome, healthy, honest food. Price reflects wholesome fresh ingredients, and just one of their smoothies that contains nuts will leave you filled anyhow. Their key lime tartlet is incredible. Boston needs more places like this. Most of it is vegan and they are gluten free friendly for sure! Love it!
(5)Safinah B.
Oh dear God I love cocobeet. I come in here about 6 days a week and have loved everything I've tried. Banana Chia smoothie is great for the morning and the vanilla berry chia seed pudding has given me life prior to every workout...The owner recognizes me every time I come in and it make me feel very welcome in the store. Looking forward to trying everything this shop has..
(5)Valerie W.
These power smoothies and vegan/raw snacks are my healthy crack. I am so excited that there's another raw & vegan friendly place in Boston. Blue Coconut smoothie and kale & microgreens salad are both very good. I can't wait to try everything else!
(5)Blakely S.
Wow! These smoothies are amazing. Yes, you are paying $10 for them but it's worth it, they are quite possibly the best smoothies I've ever had. The Vanilla Power Mylk tasted more like a milkshake (but really, it's healthy!) and was filling enough to serve as a meal. The Blue Coconut is a super creative and super yummy blueberry almond smoothie. I haven't had the Tropical Breeze but my husband did and said it was amazing. We also picked up a Vanilla Berry Chia Pudding and some summer rolls, both of which were also great! I'll definitely be back - soon, I hope!
(5)Laura Cristina M.
Astoundingly delicious! I bought the Green Genes and loved it. Although I prefer smoothie/frappe green juices, I really liked the somewhat creamy consistency this juice has. The instant energy boost was also well received; that's what you get from a quality, organic, well prepared juice. The staff is very friendly and the store, albeit simple, is inviting. I would give it 10 stars if I could. Can't wait to go again.
(5)Theo H.
Love this place!! Healthy, scrumptious food and friendly staff who care that their customers are satisfied. The drink prices were a bit daunting at first but are so worth it with their ample assortments of yummy fruits and veggies. Haven't tried anything I don't like.
(5)Laura F.
I happened across Cocobeet last weekend and popped in for a healthy alternative to the food at Big Apple Circus! The place was super-clean, and Onur greeted us warmly, happy to answer any questions about their product. I enjoyed my first juice (mylk) so much, that I called the next day to set up a juice cleanse. Onur was so helpful and responsive, we got it all set and delivered locally within the day. Now I've tried MANY of the Cocobeet products after a two day cleanse. They are all fresh and pure, top-quality. And the service can't be beat. Thanks!!
(5)Kate C.
Just finished a wonderful lunch from Cocobeet! I've been itching to try out this place since it opened in my neck of the woods. And boy was I surprised! The quinoa burger on arugula was delicious. I especially loved the mustard dressing that comes with it (in fact, I'm saving the rest and putting it on my greens for lunch tomorrow.) Now here's the surprising part - although the salad looked on the small side, I'm actually quite full! This is coming from a girl who can out-eat the majority of her guy friends. I also purchased a Shake the Tree smoothie, which, two sips in, is also delicious, but I think I'm going to have to save the rest for an afternoon snack. I'm so glad to have another healthy lunch option downtown. I can't wait to go back and try more!
(4)Chris S.
Nothing but good words about this place. Was talking to the owner and he even threw in two extra beet shots cause we were nice guys! Great juices and I just had the banana one for breakfast then. Epic. Go the beet one though. Everyday. For the rest of your life and you'll be healthy. :)

Ok so I was visiting Boston and after eating completely unhealthy all weekend I wanted to get a healthy lunch before I got on the plane to head back home... I found this place while searching online and went in to the store... Being the impulsive person that I am I decided to try one of the cleanses to restart my week... The guy behind the counter was extremely friendly and helpful... Since I was heading home on a plane he made me fresh juices and smoothies and then packed up all the products in an insulated bag and made sure it was secure to survive the rough handling of the airport staff :/ when I got home everything was still cold and I started the cleanse the next day.... All I can say is that I am in LOVE with the entire thing... Everything taste so fresh, you feel less bloated, and I didn't even feel hungry... I highly recommend the kale and micro greens salad, the chia pudding, and the coco blue smoothie... This recommendation is only from one day of the cleanse but I'm sure I will love the other juices and smoothies... I will absolutely be ordering from them- they will pack up the goods in the insulated bag and send them to you!! Some of the reviewers have commented on the price but I have no raw food or juice stores near me and especially nothing with this quality... I am in love with this place!
(5)Ama R.
It was ok. I heard it was a juice bar so, naturally, expected people to be making juice. Their juice is cold-pressed so it's all bottled, alright I get that- not sure I get having an entire store dedicated to bottled juices. The over all experience was like going into an overpriced hipster vegan convenience store. I was very excited when I heard they had vegan mac and cheese I waltzed on in and I asked the man behind the counter for some- he directed me to the case. It was made up of macaroni, dayia, and peppers and was pretty expensive (You can go get a hot creamy plate of the good stuff at Veggie Galaxy for about the same price). Their juices are very expensive some are neat ideas but were very expensive- I wasn't about to pay over $15 for a bottled juice and cold mac and cheese from a case.
(2)Ruth L.
Super-friendly, along with delicious, fresh juices and AWESOME Chocolate Coconut Truffles. My favorite concoctions were the Green Genes, Green Gold and Bright Lights; they really helped me stay healthy and fend off the onset of a cold during my Boston vacation. Also, surprisingly more affordable than similar concepts in Florida :)
(5)Eugene T.
For those who really juice traveling is tough. Cocobeet is great. They have real green juices that dedicated juicers use. Those on an anti cancer diet will recognize many of them.
(5)Aaron S.
Delicious smoothies. Owners are super friendly. Still working out some new opening pains, but they are sorting through them rapidly and already stocking great drinks!
(5)Caroline S.
Little takeout spot (nowhere to sit) with a great selection of bottled cold-pressed juices and smoothies (no HPP!), sandwiches and salads. Granola and soup and bowls available from the friendly folks behind the counter. Grabbed a Green Gold juice and a sandwich today (sun-dried tomatoes, kale and almond hummus) -- I was aiming for healthy but was pleasantly surprised by how yummy the two were. The juice was round and smooth from the fennel, and the sandwich was a perfect mix of savory, creamy, and chunky. Prices are relatively high but not out of place for the quality and location. Silly thing to mention, but their bags are really pretty! Will definitely be back.
(5)Alison F.
This is the go to place if you want organic cold pressed juice in Boston! The owner is amazing so friendly and nice, available to answer any questions. Plus after your first trip there, he remembers who you are and greets you by name! Now onto the juices.... Amazing! If you're into juicing or you just want something filling and healthy head to cocobeet! My favorites are the Peruvian sun (sweet potato, carrot, apple, lemon and lime), kale karma (probably the best one even if you aren't into the "green drinks", it's sweet and tangy!- kale, pear, pineapple and lemon, yum!), and if you're looking for that 2 pm boost try the kickstart (beet, carrot, apple and ginger). Also they have great organic and freshly made food. The kale chips are my favorite and super delicious, but they have salads, desserts (yes!), and sandwiches. They also offer various cleanse packages, which are always worth a try if you've got a sugar addiction you're looking to kick (as I frequently am). Cocobeet is such a great addition to Boston! Just try it...
(5)Danielle L.
Please do your body a favor and check this place out. Delicious and healthy is sometimes hard to find, but it's here. The price may seem like a little much but not compared to the value and quality you get. If you cant make it a regular option, treat yourself once or twice a week. You deserve it. You will feel good inside and out, it makes you want to live healthier. *try the quinoa bowls for breakfast, mmm :) I look forward to trying their food for lunch!
(5)Dominic S.
The Chai Orange & Cranberry Granola was delicious. I like the healthy ingredients used in their products. I am only giving this place 4 stars instead of 5 because of the prices. $10 for a smoothie is quite expensive.
(4)Bel M.
Was in town for the Boston Marathon and was walking around, we are from California where we juice everything and live a real clean eating lifestyle. We were happy to find this little gem, we got a carrot beet ginger juice and it was pretty dang tasty but really all the bottles seem to contain deliciousness. The staff was friendly explaining the difference between all the juices/food available. Overall great experience. :-)
(5)Bob J.
Definitely more than I would like to pay for a smoothie, but worth it. The Blue Coconut is delicious, but the Chocolate Power Mylk wasn't as good. Decent, I just wouldn't get it again. The kale and microgreens salad was also very good, but again, I probably wouldn't return for it. I definitely feel good coming here - all the ingredients are clearly listed and seem fresh. Good for your body, not for your wallet.
(4)Kate N.
Friendly, knowledgable staff and great options for healthy breakfast. We both got quinoa breakfast bowls and a green juice and loved. Tons of vegan and GF options. Neither of us follow a vegan or GF diet, but try to eat organic, clean, and locally sourced whenever possible! Great find.
(5)Jules E.
FINALLY! It can be challenging to live and work in downtown Boston as a vegan/vegetarian, so this place is a god send just by the sheer fact that I can walk in and grab anything. The food is fresh, ORGANIC (so hard to find in prepared food), and tasty, and the smoothies and juices are as well. It's quite expensive, which stops me from going there regularly, but I really do appreciate the selection and quality.

I wrote a review the other day and it seems like it was removed. I came to Boston to have an open abdominal surgery and after the procedure I continue to recover at my parents house in Peabody. I had no appetite and can barely eat or walk. I typically buy cold pressed juices but I was keen to find a place such as CoCoBEET in Boston. When I called I spoke to A gentleman by the name of Honor and he was so helpful and he actually delivered my order all the way to Peabody because he understood the nature of my condition and he knew it was imperative for me to get these nutrients. Not only did he add some shots which are excellent for anti-inflammatory response he added a few salads and raw meals that would assist with protein consumption. I hope YELP does not delete my review again places like this actually DO exist and I am thankful to CoCoBEET in assisting in my recovery. I highly recommend and yes I give them 5stars for service and high quality organic product. I actually was able to walk in the store today with my sister and damn near buy the place out, so worth it.
(5)Aaron F.
I was visiting from out of town for a conference (I live in the NYC area), and stumbled across this store. I tried a juice and thought Yum! Loved it so much that I kept trying more...tried about 5 different juices and then also bought some of the food and snacks. Everything tasted so fresh and clean...I totally get why people were coming in and stocking up on bags full of the stuff. My favorites were the Blue Coconut smoothie, the Quinoa Burger, and the chocolate coconut truffles--so good. Owner was very nice and helpful as well--answered all my questions and seemed to know all the "regulars" by first name. Hope they expand into New York City!
(5)Jill M.
I had the pleasure of doing a 3 day juice cleanse from Cocobeet. The drinks are excellent and felt extremely healthy as well! I had 6 per day plus a morning shot. One day the morning shot was coconut milk, and the other 2 days the shots were beet. I am an avid juicer, I typically make my own, but I wanted a juice cleanse after the holidays. The cleanse was GREAT! I feel amazing as I am now in my 5th day and my cleanse has ended. I feel so alive! I have so much energy! I am not ruining this feeling! It was so well worth it-all my toxins are out of my system and I feel like a million bucks!. I also had the pleasure of speaking with the one of owner's Onur. He was so polite and helpful. He made sure he wrote the days and times of each juice on every single juice for me, as well as emailed me as well. AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE! Great service! The juices were AWESOME, AND they delivered it to me!!! Great place! Great People! Great juices! I Thanks again Cocobeet! You guys are excellent!
(5)Kara S.
While I am glad for another local juice and smoothie option, I was disappointed I couldn't customize most of their beverages.
(3)Jada H.
Great spot. People complain about price but it is on par for organic, cold pressed, juice and foods. You get what you pay for in regards to quality. Everything is well made and thought out. I met the owner and he is super cool and has a lot of passion for clean eating and living. I travel a lot and these juices help warn off colds and other germs. It's better than an antibiotic, right:) By the way, it's all delicious. Try the chia pudding.
(5)A. C.
We needed this in Boston!! Its expensive but nutritionally economical. Even the scary looking drinks are delicious!
(5)Elena G.
Really delicious juice and super friendly staff. Definitely pricey but worth it if you're trying to get something to eat that will make you feel good for the whole day.
(4)Julian L.
So great to finally have a healthy vegan spot in downtown. Their cold pressed watermelon juice was absolutely amazing, and yes, the juices and foods are on the pricy side but they really are higher quality. The taste is amazing, and the raw snacks they've come up with are really good. The proprietor, Arner (sp?)was very cool and informative about all the juices and foods, and even offered me a free one. The maki rolls and pb + j were unique and delicious. The real winner though is the chickpea salad. The only gripes would be that for the prices the food portions are a bit small, and that while there are 2 benches, there isn't really a decent spot to sit and eat. The store is very small, but even a little standing bar would be good, especially in the winter. That being said, I really hope this place sticks around.
(5)Jennifer H.
I've been a frequent customer at Cocobeet since it opened earlier this year and I couldn't be happier to have such a wonderful juice bar in the area. Tonight I went into the store to buy a large quantity of juices for a cleanse and the staff went above and beyond to help accommodate me to have everything that I needed. (thank you again!!) This doesn't surprise me, as they have always been very friendly and helpful at every visit. Aside from the staff- the juices they produce are well worth the money. If you compare their prices to other juices that are made organically and cold-pressed, they are not expensive but are actually average priced. The store is overly cautious about the due dates on the juices which goes to show how much they value the freshness of their juice. Having tried almost all of their juices and smoothies, I believe I can safely say that their entire menu is delicious!! I would highly recommend this store to anyone and everyone.
(5)Sidra V.
Everything I've tried is delicious so far. Last week I had a smoothie that was a meal in itself, and the fresh juices can't be beat. The staff is so friendly and knowledgeable about what they're doing - I really hope the store stays at Government Center for a long time to come, we need more fast, healthy options like Cocobeet! (Be sure to try the "cheesy" kale chips, they're addictive!)
(4)Dana W.
I travel regularly and so I have had the opportunity to try vegan and raw fare in dozens and dozens of cities in the U.S. and around the world, and Cocobeet is one of those rare finds that makes you want to yell their name from rooftops. And so here I am, yelling! The Quinoa Sliders are out of this world and the dipping sauce served with them packs a kick while still maintaining complex flavor. I tried two green juices, one watermelon, and one spicy grapefruit during my short stay in Boston and they were all exceptional. The quality of the ingredients really puts this place over the top. But more importantly, it's the integrity of the ingredients and the integrity of the couple who manage this place. I had the opportunity to meet one of the owners (Onur) and his passion for clean eating and providing the best possible product shines through. He is committed to using processes that help to retain the nutrients and "aliveness" of the food and it's obvious that he doesn't take any shortcuts. At the risk of sounding too "woo woo", there is just a "vibe" about this place. You feel like you're stepping into an art studio where the "art" is juice and raw, vegan food. In my opinion, as the world becomes more and more interested in healthy eating, this place will be at the front of the charge. An absolutely MUST stop for anyone in Boston who is eating vegan, raw, or gluten free, or just interested in GREAT tasting food and juices that also happen to be good for you.
(5)Kelly W.
Wow. This place was an amazing find in the heart of Boston. It's vegan, organic, and has cold-pressed juices and lots of great meal options, too. While I wanted to try the juices I was about to head out on a long walk and didn't think it would be a wise move. Instead I had the quinoa 'meatballs' with a microgreen salad. It came with a delicious dressing, and topping for the 'meatballs'. It was delicious! I also wished I had taken along some dessert which included ll kinds of great options like truffles, pie, and pudding. The staff was really great, too. Definitely recommend if you're vegan. gluten free, dairy free, into cold-pressed juices, like organic, or are looking to try something 'clean' for breakfast, lunch, or dessert.
(5)Rachel R.
A real live juice bar in metro Boston, U.S.A., America, Plymouth Rock? I wouldn't even acknowledge Cocobeet if I saw it in California, but after wandering for 40 days and 40 nights (or like, 40 minutes) and only coming across several hundred thousand Dunkin Donuts, Cocobeet may as well be a mirage in a food desert. Admittedly, the West Coast "lifestyle" thing looks weird in a train station (since we're about 20 years late to the health food party), but damned if we don't try, right? *everyone guzzling 10% coffee and 90% vanilla syrup turns a cold shoulder* Try anything with mylk in it, and brace yourself for a future that doesn't just include dairy-esque products from cows and chemicals. The wild, Wild West has a thing or twelve to teach ye olde Puritans.
(4)Marisa A.
I went here one day because I'd heard good things and I was sick of The Juicery messing up my drinks. I was pleasantly surprised. Everything was pretty good and over 2 days I spent almost $50 here (I was jumpstarting my healthy diet again after months of crap food). That said, I would probably give it 5 stars if it wasnt so pricey. The food is good and the drinks delicious but GEEZ the prices! All in all its a nice place for healthy vegan food on the go although I dont have the cash to be a regular. P.S. I HIGHLY recommend the lemon matcha cookies and banana chia smoothie.
(4)Emily S.
Got a smoothie here not to long after they opened. It was super fresh and a wonderful snack between meals on a busy work day. One issue I had was I was browsing some selections they have in the fridge area and I felt bombarded by the staff. I understand you are passionate about what you do and want people to know, but if I tell you I am just looking and exploring the new options, please, no need to keep talking to me about all the options you have and telling me all you offer, I was trying to get my bearings in a new surrounding and felt very uncomfortable. The product was great though but the prices, WHOA. But I expected that from the quality it is and how it is made.
(3)TinyYogini P.
Addictive!!! I love raw foods and it's so hard to find around here, but this place has saved me. I always feel great after eating the quinoa sliders (yummmmm). I don't get the juices often as they're a bit expensive for me, but when I do get one, I never regret it. I will return again and again and again. :)
(5)Laleh J.
It was good, but these are premade smoothies and juices that are packaged in a bottle.
(4)Carol L.
I didn't think I could find fresh cold-pressed juices in Boston, but then I came across this place offering organic, raw, vegan and gluten-free products. Right when you walk into this small storefront, you come face-to-face with display cases lined with at least two dozen different flavors of 'grab and go' juices and smoothies. There's five pounds of fruits and vegetables in each bottle. I decided to get one of their power smoothies, the BLUE COCONUT, made with blueberries, almond butter, almonds, filtered water, coconut oil, chia seeds and dates. It's dense and a bit gritty. A lot of good stuff is there, but I wonder if the other flavors taste better. Still I'm very happy to have this as an option when in Boston. There's a single bench inside, but otherwise this is strictly grab and go.
(4)Khanh P.
Stopped by after seeing this on yelp and out of my own curiosity. The juicing business is not a prominent thing in Boston so it's very different from the other options around the area. The store itself is small, boasts about 3 fridges with all of the products. It was nice to have samples next to the drinks itself to sample since I had no idea where to even start. I enjoyed all of the samples that I did try and ended up with the Peruvian Sun juice, also got the quinoa bites on the side. The quinoa bites are a must try! it sounds gross to some people like my friend but very tasty. Everything is basically organic and they list the products that aren't organic for the day. The price tag is pretty hefty for $9-$10 per bottle, it's going to leave a dent in your wallet if you're thinking about becoming a regular. But you are getting a lot of juice in one bottle so it's worth it if you're trying to go on a health kick. I think it's worth it to give it a try at least once! Also the owner was in the store, greeting and very interested in what his customers had to say.
(4)Mary L.
I had heard so many great things about this place so I decided to try a green juice when I was in the area after running errands. I tried the "green genes" option which includes Kale, Spinach, Cucumber, Celery, Apple, Parsley, Lemon and Ginger. Including tax, one bottle cost me $10.65! It was 17 oz which is a good amount, but when I handed the cashier a $10 bill and he said, "sixty five......." I was shocked that a pre-packaged juice could cost that much! After paying $10.65 for this thing I was expecting something amazing..... Too bad I was not impressed by the flavor of the juice. I love a kick of lemon and ginger and could not taste either. My bottle of juice only had a "sell-by" date on a sticker on top, but no date indicating when it was actually pressed. I prefer when my juice is made in front of me (freshly pressed); the ingredients taste much fresher. Jugos in Back Bay is by far my favorite juice place. The prices are more reasonable for freshly pressed green juice and the flavors are fantastic.
(2)Lauren R.
Delicious salad and sandwich options! Friendly, helpful staff! They were playing Death Can for Cutie when I walked in, which is always a plus! I wish I could sit down and eat here, or have somewhere outside to conveniently do so, but the location is a bit cramped. Also, they don't recycle, which strikes me odd for a vegan restaurant.
(4)Alena K.
My go to smoothie place, especially if I'm cleansing. The only organic smoothie place that I know of in the area. The staff is warm, friendly and helpful.
(5)Angela P.
I know, I know -- juice bars are trendy so that's why all the city folk are going to them. If you don't live in a big city, you may not be fully aware of this trend, but it's likely you've heard of it. The truth is that outside of New York City, there aren't a lot of juice bars that are making their juice by cold-pressing it and not pasteurizing it at all. That's where Cocobeet comes in. Located in the heart of Boston, this new takeout joint is not only a great place to get fresh, raw, cold-pressed juices, but a great place to get grab-and-go healthy food too. All of the products they sell are unprocessed, GMO-free, organic, locally sourced, raw and vegan. There are gluten-free options as well. I ended up there the day before a national holiday so there weren't too many products prepared for the day. But, what they had looked great. The juice selection, on the other hand, was well-stocked. I had so much trouble choosing with flavors like the Spice-C made with orange, ginger, and jalapeno and the Watermelon Quench made with watermelon, pineapple, and lemon. I finally settled on the McGregor's Garden made with spinach, parsley, carrot, celery, and lemon. One of the owners, Onur, happened to be there and I was telling him how much I liked this juice as I love green juices and he told me that that juice was his favorite too, but the customers' least favorite. Most people want a sweet juice, not a green juice so they may not be ready for the green goodness inside! I also tried the Forbidden Juice made with grapefruit, pineapple, ginger, lemon, cayenne, and turmeric. I loved this one too...and it was sweet. It is a very balanced juice with more pineapple taste than anything else, but with a little kick of cayenne. The cold-pressed juice process creates juice without using heat that could kill off the vitamins, nutrients, and enzymes. So they produce the freshest, most nutritious raw juice this way and it has a shelf life of only four days. Most people don't realize that most made-to-order juices that you get on the spot while you wait are created by machines using centrifugal force. The end result is a juice that is 80% water and 20% nutrients. The enzymes and nutrients are neutralized or destroyed, and the spoilage process begins immediately. For lunch, I had their Avocado and Spinach sandwich on sprouted grain. It was about as good as a pre-packaged sandwich could be. Usually sandwiches that are prepacked don't taste fresh and get soggy, but everything at Cocobeet is so fresh, I doubt any of it ever gets that way. The real star in this sandwich is the homemade cashew cheese that gives the sandwich a great flavor. I also picked up a box of their Cheesy Kale Chips and these are by far some of the best kale chips I've ever had. As they are made fresh there and not shipped anywhere else, the kale leaves are full and intact. The seasoning has a sort of mustard flavor to it. Made with cashews, sunflower seeds, nutritional yeast, onion powder, garlic powder, turmeric, lemon juice, and cayenne -- the flavor will blow you away. When Cocobeet first opened, they put honey in some items. Since then, they've gone 100% vegan so any reference to honey is only on the package because they printed thousands of labels and want to use them up before replacing them. This isn't a bargain lunch spot as fresh organic food is never cheap. The juices sell for $7.50 to $9.95 for a single serving, sandwiches are $5.95 to $8.95 and salads are $8.95. They also offer smoothies, warm quinoa breakfast bowls, key lime pie, chocolate coconut truffles, and veggie quinoa sliders. There isn't any seating so it is take-out only, but it is so worth the trip. Just find a spot outside and enjoy your healthy lunch. I only wish DC had a place like this. It was like my dream come true, but in a city far, far away. The people in Boston are lucky SOBs.

Yeah, I'm one of those people who has fallen prey to the juice craze. So I was happy to see this place pop up relatively close to where I work (although it's still a bit of a walk). It has a wide range of cold pressed juices, already bottled, for perusal. My favorite of the juices are the pleasant and fruity Happy Day (Pineapple, Apple, Cucumber, Mint) and the rich and sweet Peruvian Sun (Sweet Potato, Carrot, Apple, Lemon, Lime, Maca). While I love the green juices I've had at other juice places (like Jugos), the two main ones here (Green Genes and Green Gold) tasted too much like drinking a salad, which I found wholly unpleasant. One of my problems with cold pressed juices as opposed to made-to-order juices is that they're not customizable, and I really dislike celery (in both Green Genes and Green Gold). So I'm a bit sad that I can't really get an enjoyable green juice fix here. Their smoothies are pretty awesome, though. I especially love the Banana Chia (Banana, Almonds, Filtered Water, Dates, Chia Seeds, Flaxseed, Cinnamon) and Blue Coconut (Blueberry, Dates, Almonds, Filtered Water, Almond Butter, Coconut Oil, Chia Seeds), which are both delicious! As far as green smoothies go, the Green Monkey (Kale, Kiwi, Apple, Banana, Orange, Lemon) is pretty nice. Their salads are tiny and insanely overpriced; I once tried the kale one, which was fine, but definitely not worth the money. I have to say that I wasn't really impressed with their Vanilla Berry Chia Pudding or Key Lime Pie; I found the former syrupy and overly sweet, and the latter chalky and difficult to finish. As a nonvegan, i can't help but compare this key lime pie with regular key lime pie, and find the vegan version a sad unsatisfying substitute But I guess if you are a strict vegan, it might be better than nothing? I can see how vegans and health nuts would go crazy over this place. As someone with a less restrictive diet, I'd say that there are some nice options here for juices and smoothies, but I prefer the offerings at Jugos. I'll come here from time to time because the location is more convenient for me, though.

This is the first juicing place I've seen in Boston. I've been dying to find a fresh juice place for so long!!!! But I guess this comes close. It's tucked next to the Dunkin Donut's and you could totally miss it. I got the Blue Coconut, which includes Blueberry, Almonds, Almond Butter, Coconut Oil, Chia Seeds. SO FILLING!!! I had it as my lunch during work, and it kept me energized the rest of the day. I couldn't drink the whole thing though; it got almost sickening. It may have been the almond butter, or the coconut oil, but I almost wanted to gag. So I don't suggest drinking this all in one 10-minute gulp, cuz that's what I did. Between the juices, power boosters/health shots, and power smoothies, the power smoothies definitely seem to be the more bang to your buck. I will definitely try a different power smoothie from the Blue Coconut. You may enjoy it if you are looking for a really savory drink. I would definitely want to try the Mocha Espresso or Tropical Breeze next. Also, my friend got the Survival Kit, which had many multiple fruits and coconut water, and she had the worst stomach ache. The expiration date wasn't until July 26, so I'm not sure what the drink had to make her stomach hurt the entire day. I'll give you one more chance, Coco, before I beet it.

We stumbled upon this place while walking around Boston and were excited to stop in for a quick "pick me up". The chocolate drink that my son and I shared hit the spot and gave us plenty of energy for our day on the town. I can't wait till the next time I'm in Boston to try more of their drinks.
