Greasy spoon breakfast joint. Bad coffee, breakfast sandwiches are always burned. Canned hash. Everything tastes like fake butter. Isn't that why you went here though? Such a townie place. I like Nancy's in Stow better but that's a drive. Tiny's in Ayer is better.

This place is your typical small breakfast restaurant. Cheap prices and quick food. Its good for a quick stop if your hungover or just feeling slow in the morning.

Been here for breakfast a couple times and have really enjoyed it. The restaurant is mostly plain inside, with several booths and counter seating. Service is no frills friendly and attentive. They have a good "hungry man" meal, with choice of pancakes or french toast, choice of bacon or sausage, eggs, toast, and home fries. I really like the Eggs Irish - corned beef hash with egg and hollandaise on an english muffin. Good serviceable menu with all your standard diner breakfast fare. Way better than Tiny's - not even a comparison.

I've been coming to this place off and on for the past 3 years I've lived in the area. I dig it. It's decent diner food. I will agree that at times the service can be a little slow, but I've never left there upset at the quality of the service or the food. I've tried some of the basics for lunch and breakfast and haven't had a problem with either meal. I do like that this is one of the few places in the area with decent biscuits and gravy. Lately we've been having brunch here, and that's definitely a nice feature, having a place that serves a later breakfast in the area. I've also been to Tiny's for both breakfast and dinner, and I'd say the places are on-par food-wise. Pretty sure they have more servers at Tiny's though. About the only things I'd improve about the place are to have fountain drinks (or at least a bigger selection), longer hours on some days, and maybe bigger cups. I get that it helps profit margins, but more choice would be nice. Just beware that at one point, there was a minimum charge for credit card use.

Burned breakfast, canned soups, but decent prices. Not sure of the appeal for this place. Nothing, as far as I can figure, is homemade. I asked for the soup and sandwich special and found the soup to be out of a can. I asked if they ever made their own soups, and the server proudly answered, "no."

Easily the best breakfast in town. Value for money, good-sized portions and usually busy, always a good sign for a diner!

The food here is decent, nothing too out of the ordinary. The reason for the low marks is the water. It tastes horrible. We have complained in the past yet no improvement. Oh and the service leaves something to be desired, well at least on Saturday mornings. I say go to Tiny over this place.

I have dined here several times and the breakfast and lunch foods are decent, nothing special though. I would agree that it as the best breakfast place in Ayer by far but don't go out of your way to dine here. The service is really inconsistent, the majority of the time very slow even during off-peak hours.
