I've always loved this place, always friendly faces and great food!!!

My wife and I both go here whenever we go out for breakfast. The food is great and the prices are good. Although the specials always look good and creative, I always order off the menu because I love the breakfast skillets and sandwiches.

This place is fan-friggin-tastic. I've gotten something different every time i've been there, and have yet to be disappointed. The chefs are very knowledgeable about their creations, and you can tell the care that goes into every dish. The specials are always wonderful, as is everything on the regular menu. The staff is always so fast and nice too. When my wife and I talk about going out to breakfast, we're automatically talking about this place without even having to ask each other.

My wife and I tried this place and was pleasantly surprised given the size. There isn't a lot of room for diners, but a little wait would likely be worth it. There were several creative dishes on the menu. I tried mint chocolate chip pancakes which weren't too strong (which is good given they are pancakes) and they were very fluffy. The staff was very friendly and catered to our needs quickly and efficiently. Give this tiny hole in the strip mall place a try.

I have never written a review before, but this place, hands down, has the best French toast I've ever had. Now that may not seem like much, but French toast is my only choice when I got out to eat. I've had it at more places than I can count. But The Breakfast Place is the first time in my entire life I ever filled up and couldn't finish an order of French toast. It's three full slices of toast and is always cooked to perfection. My girlfriend couldn't stop raving about the skillet plate she ordered. And after convincing me to take a bite, I had to agree. Definitely worth the $14 price. The place itself is a little on the smaller side, but I've never had to wait more than 15 minutes for a table. The service is always top notch and the servers even know their regulars orders. I can't wait to come back here again and again. Just hope I can find a spot to park as it shares a lot with a couple other stores.

Nothing to say that hasn't been said. Eggs, produce, meat and coffee are all local, gluten free options cooked on a separate grill, delicious food, and good portions. If you want to wait in your car for a table to clear, you can give them your phone number and they will call you when one is ready. Free wi-fi. Only downsides are it's rather small, but it's a breakfast place so I'm not going to take away a star for that- it's something that's expected. The stools are also a little uncomfortable (large coutner space though) but again, that's typical of a diner/breakfast joint. There is no excuse to be going to IHop in Attleboro if you live here. None. Unless you like burnt coffee and bland food, but to each their own.

What a great local breakfast place. They are SO accommodating if you are gluten free. Tons of options. Tasty options. The Breakfast Place has emerged as one of my top 5 breakfast places in all of MA or RI if you are gluten free. The service is great as well. My only complaint is that it's a little pricey.

A great amazing small local place serving the freshest locally grown food. It will get busy fast on a weekend but I feel it is worth the wait. Staff is super friendly and on top of everything and every request you make. Refills come before you even have to ask for them. There uncured bacon is some the best I have had in awhile. So crispy and great tasting. Ham isn't salty and don't need a gallon of water to drink like other places. The tomato eggs Benedict with uncured bacon in a herb sauce is great. Plus they don't drown it in the sauce like other places do. Overall it's a cute small wonderful breakfast place that is worth every dollar. Oh and speaking of dollars there prices are fairly reasonable and cheap for local products.

Update: The cinnamon bun roll pancakes are scrumdidliumptious. They're glazed and have cinnamon filling. They're also the size of your plate so I recommend splitting an order or maybe just order one unless you're a hippo.

The Breakfast Place is one of those hidden gems that will never lose its charm. It is literally a hole in the wall and you'd never think anything spectacular would come out of this place just by looking at the exterior. What you find inside is a warm crew of employees and a specials board that never ceases to amaze. I never bother looking at the classic menu because the specials board boasts amazing dishes that really outdo anything on the laminate list. From s'mores pancakes and sweet strawberry cream cheese stuffed French toast to local grass-fed beef benedicts and bacon tomato avocado cave-aged cheddar omelettes, the chalkboard specials are hard to choose from! The local ingredients (and coffee!) make such a difference in the food and they even offer gluten-free selections that are far from boring. I've never had a bad experience here and I've been at least 15 times!

Omg the home fries are amazing and they will give you extra for free if you ask! The coffee is some of the best I have had in a while. I ordered three eggs over medium. Most places will make the eggs either too runny or we'll done but this place got it right. I will def be trying out the other things on the menu. The only negative is that they only serve breakfast because of this is what they can do with breakfast I can only imagine what they can do with lunch or dinner.

The food was great as well as the service. We had the Eggs Benedict Classic and a second with hash. The homefries with added peppers and onions were on point! For those who wonder, the restaurant supports local farmers and other businesses. Local cage free eggs and locally roasted coffee. The only somewhat negative comment is with the decor. The color scheme of red and black is not "sunny" enough for morning.

This place was delicious but super crowded and chaotic. It took longer than normal breakfast as the waitstaff was racing around. They had a lot of good local options and standard breakfast fare. We got the standard eggs, sausage, pancakes, homefries, etc, and a side of the banana bread with fig compote. The special was the standout item so I would order more of them next time as the standard food is very average. I like what they're trying to do but I would like a better ambiance if I'm paying premium prices. Their standard food was standard/cheap prices in a standard diner. I would recommend it but I wouldn't race back.

My boyfriend and I found this place through yelp and gave it a try this morning. The staff is wonderful and very attentive. We noted through out the course of our breakfast that the staff was very efficient at turning over the tables, refilling coffee and keeping things moving along as it was a very busy dinning room. The food was brought out in a reasonable amount of time and everything was cooked pretty well and certainly nothing was cold! One of our favorite things for breakfast is home fries and I have to say it was the ONE thing we were kind of disappointed about. They were cut and sized well, cooked well but the chefs had a very heavy hand with the salt and seasonings today. They were kind of spicy as well. Definitely not sure if I'll order them again unless the spices and salts are toned down a bit. I like flavor for sure but the home fries over powered everything else we were eating. My French toast was a nice counter balance to the salty home fries and hash. The omelette I orders was excellent ( turkey sausage, tomato and cheese) and the hash was yummy as well. I like that they use local eggs and everything tasted fresh and we overall enjoyed our late morning breakfast

Let me start off by saying the food is absolutely awesome! The cinnamon bun pancakes were out of this world, with a side of home fries with bacon and cheese umm yes please. And everything was local, so that's pretty cool too. The only think that was okay was the service. The staff was super friendly and I know it is a small spot, but our drinks weren't refilled for a good portion of the meal, our check was put at the table halfway through the meal, and table wasn't cleared until after we left. Like I said, the food is great, their pancakes put Ihop to shame, but for me the service was was a bit off putting.

Been twice now. Excellent locally grown or produced ingredients. Imaginative. Today I had hash made from butternut squash, apples, onions and bacon with scrambled eggs. I substituted home-fries for grilled apple slices sprinkled with cinnamon. And had a slice of pumpkin break with cinnamon butter. And there is a help yourself coffee bar with wonderful dark roast coffees. Very friendly and efficient waitstaff makes this even more appealing. It's a quaint space so I wish there was more seating but even when packed, the wait isn't too long.

I went here for breakfast with my son on Sunday. We got there around 11:20 AM and had to wait about 40 minutes for a seat. The people here were wonderful, a little scattered maybe but very nice and pleasant. They are committed to local foods which is another plus. The coffee here is excellent and I give them props for having a Mediterranean quinoa dish on the menu. That is what I ordered and unfortunately, it was not very good. The accompanying multi grain toast was very good though regrettably neither dry nor double toasted as I had requested. I wish I could remember what my son ordered because he thought it was great. It was another one of the specials. We had to wait quite a long time for our food to appear, maybe 25 minutes, which was fine as we were in no rush and they kept the coffee coming. Altogether, from the time we arrived till the time we left was about an hour and a half, I suggest you plan accordingly.

I agree with previous posters, this spot consistently delivers quality breakfast. In town for a family reunion we went twice, the ladies there are charming and were very accommodating to our party of ten. I highly recommend if you are in the area.

I call this place "chef driven" because it seems like the dishes are prepared by someone who cares about what they put on a plate. The specials are always an interesting combination of flavors. Trying to get in on a Sunday morning can be tough, but this is a great place to grab a special breakfast during the week.

This place left something to be desired. The service was really slow even though we were there on a weekday morning and it wasn't very busy. The food was nothing short of bad. I got the homemade hash and egg breakfast. It had very little flavor, despite being heavily salted. Hours later and I'm still guzzling water. My boyfriend got the blade meat and cheese omelet and he was also unhappy. It was also really expensive and was almost $50. The only upside was there was a huge amount of food. The toast was the best part. I could have stayed home for toast.

I am a local and I used to love this place, brought people here and recommended others to come as well. I had seen a half off groupon so I decided to come back since I haven't been there in a few months, but it was a big mistake.Something has changed. First of all, we were sat down and were not waited on for awhile. Two groups that came in after us were waited on before us (and received their food way before us). I noticed the staff just pointed the order of the tables to be waited on by the waitress and she ignored that we were to be first. Even though I was annoyed, I was ready to let that go due to how crowded it was. It only got worse. There were no creamers at our table and we tried to wait to have someone come over to attend to us... we even tried to flag someone down but to no avail! so my husband got up and got it himself. We are not lazy but we don't want to pay for waitstaff that don't wait on us. Our breakfast arrived over a half an hour later (and btw they kept telling people it would only be a 15 minute wait but there were people standing up at the door for a half hour at least) but anyways, I always need ketchup with my eggs!! and of course there was no ketchup... I was lucky enough to ask someone (not our waitress who we never saw until the bill came around) and she forgot. I waited and waited, eggs started getting cold so I ran to the back and asked the woman who was supposed to get me the ketchup in the first place if I could just grab the one in front of her. To her defense she seemed overwhelmed and doing all the things the elder "waitress" should have been doing. As for the food, it was expensive and bland. I ordered the avocado, bacon and tomato omelet. It was actually guacamole, not cut up avocados and there is a difference. It needed salt (which is rare for me to say because I hate too much salt) and some of the bacon was uncooked!! and to top it all off they charged me 12.00 for it!! omelets should not be more than 8 or 9 dollars unless there is caviar in it!!!! The official waitress came over at the end and asked us how things were and if we needed a box when we were ready to pack it up and the younger lady already asked us if we needed one. I sure hope the younger waitress (if she is a waitress) gets equal pay in the tips because she works her tail off in there picking up the duties of the so called "waitress." I couldn't understand the writing on the bill and needed to flag the waitress over to understand it and she seemed irritated for me asking??? I believe that they overcharge for certain things to make up for the money they lose with the groupon deals (I don't remember an omelet being so expensive there before prior to the deal). Overall, they need more organization, more waitresses (or better ones) a better chef and not be greedy by paying more attention to piling people in and not paying attention to the ones already sitting down. And if they are going to use the old fashioned scribbled itemized system on a check... at least have the old fashioned friendly and attentive wait staff personality to go along with it!! Very disappointed, I always tip way over 20% and really wanted to leave nothing... but I have too much of a heart and I figured it was split and knew that some of the waitresses would probably get shafted (yes I said shafted and dating myself) so we left a measly $5.00 on a 35.00 bill which is unheard of for us unless it is terrible (like us getting our own ketchup, creamers, milk, begging for help with bill, being ignored and feeling like we were trapped at the table and wishing we would have just stayed at home because I make a mean omelet myself!!). Hope this review gets the attention from the owner so he/she can make changes for the better of their business and people will leave satisfied and not aggravated!!!

A friend recently moved to Attleboro and I, of course, used Yelp to find this gem. They serve, you guessed it, breakfast, but by showcasing locally grown and harvested products. The food was good, the service was super friendly - even though there seemed to be pure chaos enveloping everything. Did I mention they were busy?

I've been meaning to review The Breakfast Place for some time, but I just never got around to it. This little hole in the wall is just amazing. From eggs to meats to produce to coffee they use as much local and organic ingredients as possible. By patronizing this establishment, you are supporting many local businesses. There is always a line on the weekends, but it's always worth the wait. There is a giant special board to choose from in addition to the menu. I almost always pick from the board because the specials rock. Steak Benedict with chipotle Hollandaise sauce was one of my favorites. If you like sweets go for something like the Almond Joy pancakes. Yum! If nothing on the special board floats my boat, I always go for the Philly Skillet. Shaved Delmonico steak, sautéed peppers, onions, and mushroom, over home fries and topped with 2 eggs served in a hot skillet with toast. I get it with poached eggs and multigrain toast. The staff is amazing too. Great people, always friendly and ready with coffee refills. Go have breakfast!!

Awesome! Didn't expect to love it but it was phenomenal. The cinnamon roll pancakes are ridiculous. You get full on just one. But I got the ultimate breakfast with add on of the cinnamon roll pancakes it was an up charge and came out to 13 all together but so worth the price. I ate my pancakes and got full and had my egg, ham, fries and toast to take home and had it for lunch. 2 meals in one. Soo good. Not the cheapest dinner but the quality is worth it. Hands down!

I came across this place on Yelp due to the large amount of positive reviews. I tried it once and have come back at least 7 times since my initial visit. Great service, awesome staff, and delicious breakfast made to order. As long as this place continues serving the same quality food and has this warm welcoming staff I will keep coming back. The portions are so generous and best of all they support local farmers. From the local coffee to bacon, their veggies, maple syrup...nothing like knowing it's fresh in every way. Today I had the Philly Omelette with crispy yummy homefries and buttered wheat toasts. As usual, I had to pack half of it , there's just too much to eat it all. So, if you think about it, it's almost like you're getting two meals for the price of one. I know that not everyone on Yelp has been completely satisfied in recent months but this place has never let me down. It's a diner type hole in the wall after all so, you'll have to pick your own table and soon someone will come over and take your order. If you're looking for 5 star luxury restaurant this place isn't for you but, by the same token if you're looking for some hearty, filling, homemade, huge breakfast at a decent price in a super casual form you'll enjoy this!

This is my favorite breakfast place in Attleboro by far! I've never been disappointed by anything I've ordered here! The regular menu is excellent, such as the different eggs Benedict options, but the daily specials board is the best! It always has something new and delicious to try, using lots of creative flavors and local, seasonal ingredients... Italian sausage, baby spinach, caramelized onions and sharp cheddar anyone?? The service is always attentive and your coffee (delicious btw) cup never goes empty, even on a busy weekend morning. Prices are right in line with the quality and quantity of the food. I would highly recommend The Breakfast Place.

Returned to The Breakfast Place yesterday and I am sure glad we did. I wish I knew the waitresses name - she is friendly, helpful and "present" without being overbearing. I had the blade meat omelette filled with delicious spicy pork and cheese with perfect home fries and toast. My husband loves his sweets at breakfast and devoured his French toast stuffed with cream cheese and sliced apples. This place must have a "regular" clientele since everyone else coming in was greeted by name. I only wish we lived closer so that we could also be regular customers.

My husband and I enjoy trying local places instead of chains. The staff is super friendly and very attentive. We both had a scramble which was delicious. In fact the whole menu was very interesting. I am only taking away 1 star because I thought it was a little pricey for breakfast. Otherwise, very good experience!

The Breakfast Place is my go-to for brunch! The food is great, the service is excellent and it's just warm, welcoming place to dine. It was one of the first restaurants to visit when I moved to town, and whenever I have guests, a visit is a must. Make sure you try the cinnamon bun pancakes.. They're a life changer..

We frequently eat breakfast there due to their gluten free options. We're all eating and I see my father get pale, push his plate away, and signal to the waitress. There's a gigantic fly smeared across his toast like butter. It is a huge ass fly. This is not some little gnat or a fly that landed on the food after it was cooked. My dad quietly shows her and she goes "sorry" and takes his food away. I'm about to throw up so I hand her my plate as well. That's it. No one comes back, no one apologizes again or offers anything. My dad gets up and tracks a waitress down to pay. They comp his meal and take a few dollars off mine (Note, I'd eaten two bites before this incident). The waitress then says she hopes my dad doesn't "go on to that website." So: -Gigantic ass fly in food -Only the meal with the fly being comped, like it didn't disturb the rest of our meals or anything. -Concerned about repercussions on Yelp, but not enough to actually do anything about it. -This is how they treat us when they KNOW our family because we're in there frequently. I don't know if they would have been more responsive if they hadn't known us? Maybe they just assumed we'd keep coming back? Well, we're not! My dad walked out there (having paid forty bucks for the experience) and said "Well, last time we go there." P.S- Before the fly was discovered, they brought me out an order of bacon that was literally black, and then were annoyed when I asked for a new order. Maybe don't char them the first time, then.

As with all the other reviews, the place is very small and needs refurbishing desperately. However, the food is pretty good, but pricey for breakfast. They do offer gluten free specials , in addition to local ingredients, cage free eggs. locally roasted coffee and grass fed meats. I applaud all that! However, I was not interested in the daily specials- there was nothing I wanted to eat. I would have eaten the huervos rancheros if I had been in the mood, but it was $7.95 or something like that and that was outrageous. We were a party of 3 and it was packed when we got there. But considering there are only 10 or so tables so that's' to be expected. We all ended up ordering eggs with bacon and home fries and toast. It was pretty good. I did get a diet soda which came in a can, and one had coffee. She said it was good, but nothing special. Pancakes seem to be the big thing here and people around us had them. They looked good, but I wasn't in the mood. Maybe it was just a bad day, but I wasn't impressed. With a tab of $30 for breakfast of eggs, bacon home fries and bread, one coffee and one soda plus tip, I think I will try another place next time.

I have read a fair amount of the reviews posted by many "yelpers" and I must say I agree with most of these reviews. The great, the not so great and all in between. So you are probably wondering why I gave them 5 stars, right? Well, read on.... First, in my experience as a manager, business owner and as a front line server/cook I truly understand what it takes from every angle to operate as a business. With that said the very first thing I look for when I'm about to experience something new is how welcomed I feel and how comfortable I feel in the environment. From my very first visit to the many we now have had in the past year the waitresses have always greeted my boys and I with a friendly and bubbly personality which makes us feel welcomed and appreciated. Our drink order is usually taken almost as fast as we sit down and quickly delivered within minutes. As our drinks are being delivered the waitress is always ready to take our order if we are ready to order. We never have to wait and the food is always fresh! The other wonderful thing is they offer allergy sensitive food like gluten free pancakes and so many other products which shows they are sensitive to their customer needs. Something else that earns stars in my book is the local support that they give to local farmers and vendors. In my opinion this helps the community grow and also helps customers to get the freshest ingredients that are chemical FREE. In terms of the environment it's a bit dated but it fits well with the older style fun loving music that plays in the background that you can't help but sing to. The bathroom does seem a bit out of place which I opted not to use because of that. However, this is not a deal breaker for me because they at least have one. We have come to expect this sort of environment from a local business without the corporate flair. I think the big thing for me is the friendly service that is given to us every time and the food is good but more importantly fresh, locally grown and allergy sensitive options are offered and the guidelines on prepping and serving are followed. In all honesty, I believe they are on a fast track to perhaps a newer, fresher looking environment that is bigger "for the demand" that will continue to grow for this type of service and sensitivity. All the best to this local business owner that understands the customer needs and allergy sensitivities.

Only been once so far, but our waitress was very efficient. I got 4 coffee refills without having to ask, love this! Depending on how your order, the prices can be high for breakfast, i.e. don't order a lot of items a la carte but rather get one of the "combo" breakfasts which are a pretty good value. Some of the food is locally sourced which is great! I got the pancakes, uncured bacon, home fries and toast. Bacon was good, home fries were perfect. Pancakes were a good size. Toast was average. Another notable, the coffee here is pretty good. Not the usual swill you get at some breakfast places. Place was generally clean. Silverware was a tad over-used, time for a new set, clean but could be cleaner kind of deal. I will go back.

The place looks tiny from the outside but when I walked in I was surprised at how much bigger it was than I thought it would be. It's not humongous inside, but good size for a small place. The inside was so cool looking to me, kind of reminded me of the 1950's the way the decor was set up. I love old fashioned things like that. We were the first ones there on a Thursday morning and we sat, were waited on, and served in probably about 5 minutes! The waitress was friendly and came back a few times to check on us and make sure we liked our breakfast. I ordered 2 eggs, toast, and homefries, which was $5. It was a little more expensive than I'm used to for breakfast, but I figured it would be excellent tasting. It was just ok in my opinion, nothing special. My boyfriend liked his breakfast more than me (he ordered something different) and he said he could taste the freshness that they claim to have (it's all local grown). The thing I specifically didn't like about mine was the homefries. They didn't really have a flavor to them for some reason. The homefries are always my favorite part of breakfast so I was a little disappointed in that area. The experience was nice, something new and different to try, but the food just didn't have that wow factor for me.

Great place for a good breakfast. I dig all the local fare and appreciate the keeping it real attitude. Excellent coffee roasted locally.. We will be back here. I like to sit at the counter and see what's going on in the kitchen (naturally.) Love watching a good line cook create such hearty and flavorful dishes. Ok, so they are slow, but it's worth the wait. The service could be better... but I am willing to sacrifice one for the other, because the food is that good... and it's family owned.

I really like this place but I have to admit I was expecting something different walking in. The website makes it sound a little more upscale but it really is just a diner but there is nothing wrong with that! I've only come here twice and both times I ordered the "attle-burrito". Perfect portion and very yummy!! The people that work there are friendly and always seem to be in a good mood which is nice. I have to say the only downside is it's cash only.

Local ingredients from area farmers, cage-free eggs, locally roasted coffee, and grass-fed meats! In Attleboro! It doesn't look like much from the outside, but The Breakfast Place is just how I like my diners: traditional and unfussy in its appearance and serious about offering the classic breakfast favorites in a new way. Ended up here on a Sunday around 1:00pm nearly ravenous and ready for some breakfast eats. The wait to be served was a bit long, and our waitress made sure to apologize and inform us that they had just been preparing a take-out order that totaled over $350. Dang. That's a lot of breakfast. I typically judge a breakfast joint based on its omelets, but this day I was also craving pancakes. I opted for the Ultimate Breakfast which lived up to its name. Three eggs any way you like them (omelet with mushrooms and cheese to keep the playing field level), two pancakes, toast, homefries, and a meat of your choice (bacon!). The bacon could have been a bit more crispy, so make sure to request it that way if that's how you prefer it. The homefries were good, but I am sort of a purist when it comes to my breakfast potatoes. I could see some others potentially describing them as a bit bland. My breakfast companion ordered the House Omelet (4 eggs with everything - could have easily fed both of us) and the French Toast with Chocolate Cream and Strawberries, one of the many specials written up on the wall blackboard. I snagged a few bites of the French Toast as this was ordered at my near insistence and it was incredible! The cream was light and airy and perfectly complemented the natural sweetness of the fresh strawberries and the slight crunch to the outside of the French Toast. Additional notes: -The restroom is through the back hallway, and to get there it feels like you are about to dart out the back of the restaurant or going somewhere you shouldn't (read: an unorganized supply room). -The music is awesome - oldies that will get you humming right along. -It's a come as you are place where you'll find a mix of people enjoying breakfast done right. Plain and simple.

I loved this place. Their menu was unique offering unexpected flavor combos and boasting local produce as ingredients. Being fron the South my friend ordered sauage gravy and biscuits and raved. The portion was huge and she said the flavor was fantastic. Another person in our group grabbed the coconut crusted french toast with fried bananas and greedily devoured the entire thing before I could sneak a mouthful- clearly he enjoyed his meal. My eggs benedict was exactly as it should be: smothered in fresh tasting hollandaise, the ham tasted almost grilled (yum) and the yolks were poached perfection. One of the people I was with had a bit of a cough and our waitess came over with a sample of local honey and the promise that a few spoonfuls would clear it right up - a couple hours after breakfast we all realized it had! If I lived close by this would be my every weekend hang. I couldve eaten everything on that menu - because Im a pig - and that kitchen knew exactly the way to my heart. So much Yum.

We LOVE this place! It's very divey but the food is great and the staff is awesome. They always have delicious specials that are hard to resist. Their regular items are just as good! Their care and concern for allergy needs is great which makes The Breakfast Place a trusted locale to take your gluten free friends. A regular breakfast spot for us!

Awesome breakfast. Easy to miss spot, but definitely a hidden jewel. Food is local, delicious, wait staff is so friendly. I will definitely be back! Highly recommend. :)

Don't go here. Just save yourself the trouble. The price doesn't match the amount of food you get. Also if you like bad service and cold food this place is for you. You've been warned.

Love going to the Breakfast Place! I had one of their specials, an avocado and cheddar egg scrambler with homefries and tortilla chips. As always, it's a bit different than your "normal" breakfast, but was delicious! I haven't always loved their homefries, but it seems like they changed them to smaller pieces of potato and they were cooked up and seasoned up perfectly! We were quick to get our beverages and soon after our waitress came right over (they were busy, but not slammed) to take our orders-- great service! A perfect start to my weekend!

Great service fantastic choices. Wish I lived nearby to try them all. The food was great. I was nervous driving up because it didn't look like much from the outside but it's the food that counts so we took a chance. The food was great as was the service I highly recommend it!

I had one of the best breakfast experiences I've ever had at The Breakfast Place. I have Celiacs so it can be challenging to find places with gluten free menus. Almost anything on the menu can be made gluten free; they even have gluten free specials! I felt very comfortable eating there because everyone seemed extremely knowledgeable about the allergy. The have a separate grill they use just for gluten free items. The chef delivered the food to me and came out a second time to see how everything was. That is great customer service! They use all local ingredients. Everything was fresh and delicious! I highly recommend The Breakfast Place to anyone looking for friendly service and fresh, locally grown ingredients.

I am extremely unhappy with this place the prices are much too high and the food is absolutely disgusting. I went a couple of times to this place both people I went with said the same exact thing the food was absolutely disgusting, eggs, potatoes, bacon everything tasted horrible.

One of the best hometown hole in the wall breakfast joints I have been to in the country. My townie friends are always welcomed by name, the usual always remembered, and the food is plentiful and delicious. Corned beef benedict, linguica benedict, chocolate chip pancakes - just amazing. Something about the pancakes are definitely different, adds body and fluffyness

Live nearby and finally decided to try this place because I found a Groupon for it. The Breakfast Place is so good!! Their coffee is locally brewed in Rehobath, their food is incredibly fresh, and the wait staff was awesome. We will be back!

If your middleaged-handlebar-mustache-trucker-cap-Sox-fanatic cousin Earl had pieced together a diner and served up "the best friggin' breakfast in town, guy!" - - - the Breakfast Place is the first place I've had breakfast in Attleboro...and I don't feel the need to look any farther. "Any three Bene(dict)'s you'd like, young lady!" Hahahaa! Thanks, Buddy ---possibly the coolest and most personable server (/owner?) I have EVER encountered! Black t-shirt and a Celtics cap, the only reason I knew he wanted my order was because he had an order pad in his hand. He just came right up and sat at our table, chit chatted for a bit, and then took our order! He checked in on us frequently (refilling my coffee), but not in an annoying "my boss requires me to ask how your food is every three minutes" sort of way. Kind and welcoming - now sit back and allow me to dig into this giant portion of b-fast.... My order was off of their Specials list: The Vermont Omelet: 3eggs, goat cheese, roasted peppers, maple bacon (...need I say more); which came with homefries (the good ones from the pan that has been making homefries forEVER) and wheat toast. A MASSIVE breakfast for 9$ (and of course I ate up every bite). Another Special I didn't have a chance to try (since I was too mesmerized by the eggy goodness before me) was their S'mores French Toast (...what?!). This diner has the townie feel that I love - I felt comfortable (even when sitting at a wobbley table with torn seat cushions)...It felt like family. Good for couples and small groups (there's even a classic round booth for groups of 5+). Classic rock plays quietly and there are photos of Attleboro around the space; somewhere there are books available for diners to peruse the histoire of the once big mill town. I'll DEF be back - - - and ready to take on another one of Buddy's Specials. That's a big ol' 10-4.

Hello! Ok so I give this place 3 stars the food was good but the prices were outrageous. A side of TWO pancakes was $6.00 that is crazy to me. At most breakfast places you can get a good meal for relatively cheap prices. It's breakfast! You don't have to look at prices because it's known to be affordable (it's not gourmet). Our total was $44.00 for 2 people! We did get a few other sides but I wouldn't have guessed the bill to be that much. I'm not sure if I would go back just for that reason. Customers don't want to feel taken advantage of. I'm kind of disappointed because the food was pretty good and it seemed like a popular place.

God, you know, I loved this place so much when I was a kid. My mom and I went there almost every Monday morning. I don't know if something's changed, or if I just liked it because I hadn't developed Big Kid Tastebuds, but now, I find it just... meh. That's it. It's not particularly horrid, but there are so many better breakfast options around. I did get a hair in my French toast once, but honestly, that happens at so many restaurants that I can't really hold it against him. It happens. It's gross, but it happens.

  • Ne L.

Let me start off by saying, this place is mediocre at best. Everything on my breakfast plate was overcooked or burnt. I've been here twice, and it's worse than it was. It was a busy Saturday, but seriously quality control is horrendous. I ordered French toast off gluten free menu, which I was excited for, but the reality was so appalling. The bathroom was out of order, as well. Anyone with taste buds, you need to "stay clear". The food was inedible.

I have a love/hate relationship with the Breakfast Place. The food is awesome but the service is super slow. The Good - The food here is delicious, seriously you can't beat their eggs benedict. They just started accepting credit cards FINALLY - this frequently made us avoid this place on lazy mornings because we just dont carry cash. Prices are decent. Again - they serve eggs benedict and they are amazing! Their new local coffee is really good actually. The Bad - The service - the service here is reliably SLOW unless you are the only table in the house. The waitress is pleasant and always nice to deal with - but thats when we see her. Waiting 10 minutes to be greeted is common, waiting 10-15 minutes after being greeted for coffee is also common. Do not come here if you do not have an hour and half to spare for breakfast. Frequently we skip this place because of how long it takes to eat here. Their hours are aweful - they close at 2pm. The decor is not good. I'm pretty sure a good chunk of their chairs are old office chairs. Tables and table caddies are frequently very sticky. Attention to detail - Frequently their home fries have been really lazily cut - getting a chunk of potato that is have the size of a full potato is common which makes me think they just arent paying attention - it also leads to un even cooking which means often some of your home fries are cooked right and the other half are uncooked and a raw potato is not tasty.

We came here on a sunny, Sunday morning (10am), mostly because of their Gluten-Free options. After a short wait, we were seated and our Hostess brought us waters and coffee. That was the last time anyone came to our table. We sat for 10 minutes and watched tables around us get drinks, have orders taken, and food delivered. We flagged the hostess, who promptly said that our waitress would be "right over." 5 more minutes, and not one glance in our direction. We walked out. It was a busy morning, and it's a small place. But clearly, the two waitresses on staff that day could not keep track of their tables and customers. It's too bad, we were excited to try their Gluten-Free options. We won't be making the 15 mile drive here again...

We've been coming to this place for years, on and off, and until our last few visits, I would have given it a solid 3 stars. However, recent changes to the menu have made it my favorite local breakfast place. I always felt that it had the potential to be really good by featuring local ingredients and buying from local farmers. I always wanted to mention something to the chef, but I never did. Instead, we traveled almost 1/2 hour to eat at The Liberty Elm Diner in Providence. A few weeks ago, we visited (after a long absence) and I was astounded. It was as if the chef had read my mind. They still have the old "regular" menu, but they also now feature locally-made products and farm-fresh ingredients. They have cheeses and yogurts from Narragansett Creamery, and local produce. I hope they soon offer eggs from local farms -- or if they already do, that they tell us. They have real maple syrup -- for an extra charge, but I am OK with that. They also cater to special diets. There is a gluten-free menu that makes me happy. Most of the time, I follow a paleo-style diet, and with the changes at The Breakfast Place, I can follow it as closely or as loosely as I want. Last weekend I had gluten-free blueberry crepes that were delicious. The server made sure to take my gluten-free order separately and walk it back to the kitchen before taking the rest of the order, so that the chef was sure to follow the gluten-free guidelines. I really appreciate that extra attention. The other great thing: they now accept credit cards. Oh, and the coffee is really good. Last week they also had a featured coffee for a little but more. I didn't have it, but I love the option. In short, I think they struck a balance between the "old" breakfast place and new innovation. If you want to spend a little bit more (though still reasonable) and have higher-quality ingredients in your meal, you can do that. If you don't want to pay a premium, they have the standard breakfast diner fare at reasonable prices. Bravo, Breakfast Place, and thank you!

Came here twice so far and I admit it is wonderful. The food is great. The first time I opted for healthy and got pineapple oatmeal, it was made perfectly. Today I came with the fam and got eggplant and roasted pepper omelette, so fun. The home fries are a must, they are just as described crispy on the outside with a yummy center. The staff is so polite. I like how it's a breakfast place with a rock n roll vibe. The fam was thrilled as well.

Came recently and had breakfast. It looks like they are trying to revamp the decor, which is good because it looked pretty bad before. I decided on their homemade corned beef hash and eggs, with home fries. The hash had the perfect crust on it, which I like, and ok seasoning, but I just wished there was more of the corned beef. It had too muh potato in my opinion. The eggs and home fries were ok too. I would give it another try. But I don't expect anything but nice and simple breakfast food. And the service was overall very good.

love and hate going here. It is our favorite local spot but the service is generally slow and the wait can be long. Our food is perfect and delicious but only 80% of the time. The use of local, quality products including delicious coffee shows the commitment to quality and original creations however, they sometimes read better than they taste. The inconsistency in the service and taste is why I hate going there. But we keep going back and will continue to be loyal customers because once you get that perfect meal i.e. the pancetta hollandaise I had this weekend, you forgive the fact that they forgot your bacon the last time you were there.

We purchased our first Groupon for this restaurant about a year ago and figured we would just try it out since it's close to home. The food is great...large portions for low prices. Their recent menu upgrades include a lot of local ingredients and their homemade hash is delicious. The fact that they have recently started accepting credit cards is also a bonus in my book.

We went at 11:30AM on a Sunday (they're open until 2PM) and it was bumpin'! The atmosphere, decor, staff, and food were all quirky, fun, and pleasing. We waited in line for less than ten minutes, and the wait was worth it. Brunch for four hungry adult people came to forty bucks plus tip (and we'd all gotten a breakfast beverage - juice, tea, or coffee - to boot). The bacon was very interesting, more like pastrami in the way that it pulled apart as I ate it, but good nonetheless. The home fries I wanted to take out to my car and steam up the windows with. Perfect slices of potato heaven that brought the taste of a thousand years of tasty griddle seasoning with them to my mouth. The eggs were fine, the toast was exactly and properly executed (diagonally-sliced, with melted butter in between), the grilled bagel was just lovely-melty (and they gave enough cream cheese for both sides), and the sausage was kissed with maple syrup - just like if we were at a pancake breakfast at the local VFW. Other folks in our party ate biscuits with eggs and white sausage gravy. They had probably eight different permutations of Eggs Benedict to choose from, and the reason I didn't give them five stars is because their website REALLY hypes their food, and especially their bacon, and so my expectations were elevated, artificially, beforehand. Had their website been less hypeful, they probably would have garnered a five-star rating. But I don't think they lived up to their own claims, good as the restaurant was. There is counter service, table service, and if you are exceedingly lucky, blue-and-white-leather-booth service. We were exceedingly lucky. I felt like I was sitting in the front seat of a '54 Chevy on my way home from church. The crowd here is a nice, affable, talkative crowd. Everyone seemed happy and well-engaged with their dining companions. The historical, diner-related local photos on the walls were a lot of fun to explore. Big turn off: cash-only. NO CREDIT CARDS. I cannot fully enjoy a meal that is prefaced by a mad dash across the highway to Walgreens.

Funky! Funky! Funky! Has a great feel... love all the local stuff on the menu and that they try to be 'local aware'.... (see others posts for more detail) ~~ Food was well priced, and AWESOME! ~~ There's a little confusion, seated by one, waited on by another, took a while to get someone to take our order... someone else brought our food... WHO'S BRINGING THE COFFEE... or ASKING us if everything was ok? Would we like anything else? We had to get up to get hot sauce and almost had to get up to get coffee...they're a little 'less than' professional, yelling across the restaurant and eating themselves at the counter- goofing off when we NEEDED COFFEE!!!! Other'n that, must rocked it... food was great. We will be back...

As mentioned by others, the decor is right out of the 50s. Real old-time flavor. The food is reasonably priced and has a home-cooked taste. They are a cash-only place. No credit cards. They offer free wi-fi which always gets a mention from me. Looks like they have a varied menu, and I will try some that are recommended here.

A friend of mine recommended this place and I finally went there a few weeks ago and my biggest complaint is that I didn't take his advice sooner. The food is excellent and the staff is incredibly friendly. The cinnamon roll pancakes are phenomenal and the 'Razzo' brand coffee they serve is the most delicious coffee I've ever had. They've got a deal on Groupon that makes it even more worth it. The last time I went there with my friend the server working said 'hey guys good to see you again'; it's the little things like that that separate this place from the commercial places. Some items are a bit pricey and the weekends are tough to get a table because it's a small place but the food is worth it. The restaurant is decorated with historical photos of the area and there's a huge specials board and what looks like a decent menu of gluten free items.

What a find! I happened on this place while driving around the new digs. Good food w/ quite a bit that's locally sourced. The service can be a little slow, but really, not a huge issue, since they put the coffee down quickly. The package store and Thai place next door are both decent too. Who knew, Attleboro!

  • Amy C.

The food is good and in some cases creative. But I have to take off a star for the atmosphere, I mean I can even enjoy a place that is not pretty on the eyes, but this place is so run down the seats have holes and the booths are incomplete. Also, it is so small that if you bring the kids, people will give you the hairy eyeball because your high chair takes up valuable elbow room. I took off another star for a combination of it being a cash only business and the service.(Overworked and underpaid- which the breakfast shift always is- does not make a happy server).

Food was delicious. I had the Irish Benedict. The hash was crunchy on the outside, just like I like it. The hollandaise was good too. The homefries were the best tasting I've think I've had at a restaurant so far. They could, however, be more crisp. It was all very filling and I didn't finish everything. The place always had someone standing waiting for a table in the very small location to open up. We had tried to come here once before but didn't want to wait. Luckily there were 2 seats at the counter and we took advantage of them. The staff is all family at least that's the way it seems. As with any small family owned breakfast business they seemed too busy and could have used 1 more person. All in all ill be back. Yum!!

The boyfriend and I came here one lazy weekend morning, and were fortunate enough to find seats right away. We've lived nearby for 2 years now, but we had never been to the Breakfast Place. After this, I think I will definitely be choosing here instead of Morin's! I LOVE eggs Benedict, and I LOVE corned beef hash. The Breakfast Place has an eggs Benedict WITH corned beef hash on it! I don't think I looked at anything else on the menu after I saw that. Done deal! The boyfriend ordered the apple stuffed french toast. We both enjoyed our meals thoroughly. It definitely had a townie feel to it, with lots old pictures of Attleboro's downtown hanging on the walls. Our server was super friendly, and we were in and out of there very quickly. Be sure to bring cash! No cards accepted.

If I had to pick one reason to ever enter Attleboro, this place is it. I love everything here. The only problem is having to pick betweent their ever changing specials because everything always sounds so damn good and I've only so much room in my stomach.

been to this place 3x now. perfect for cheap and good food. the homefries are great, i love a grilled English muffin, the staff is friendly, but very confused about who is doing what, who has what table, etc. Definitely too many hands in the pot on that one. Service issued aside, the omelets are huge, but i had the portabella special last time i was there, OMG, freaking awesome! except i guess the omlets are made with 3 eggs they said, so if you dont have an appetite the size of Bigfoot, i would suggest a 2 egg omelet, since they come with homefries and toast, should be enough to fill you. BAD COMMENT: im a tea drinker, i like black tea with milk and sugar, they have these weird Lipton tea bags, they seem like it would be black tea, but its like a green tea kind of thing, HATE IT! has no tea flavor, i just bring my own now, other than that! awesome. if youre looking for good, cheap, filling breeakfast, go to this place...just bring your own tea bags :)

My boyfriend and I have eaten here over half a dozen times and have not had a bad experience. The breakfast is the best around and their coffee is always hot and delicious! The family that owns this business is so kind and always greets everyone with a smile. They had cinnamon roll pancakes on their specials menu today...oh my god. I have no words to describe how amazing they were. I can't say enough good things about this place. You need to check it out for yourself.

ADORABLE. Me and my boyfriend went there this past Sunday for breakfast, it was SO cute we were greeted as soon as we walked in the door. First thing I noticed was the music was kinda perfect, weird thing to notice but the atmosphere was awesome. We ordered our drinks, and the waitress came over and she was so nice and fun! The food came really fast and was beyond what I was expecting! about 20 bucks for two people to leave super full? Yeah, totally amazing. We just found our new regular breakfast place. :)

I took my parents here on they way down to Providence. I thought the place would be packed as we were stopping in around 9:30 AM on a Sunday (Columbus Day weekend). But, to my surprise were were ableo find a table immediately. The atmosphere in this place is very cool...tiny, but 50/60s-ish. I got the hash and eggs and was very impressed. We all enjoyed our meals. I must return to try the pancakes...and oatmeal. They sound GREAT!

Went for breakfast 06-28-12. The waitress was very rude and other than asking what we wanted for breakfast she never said anything else to us ! We both ordered a soda and was brought a small can of sprite at 2 dollars each!! Food was average and kinda on the expensive side but we got a good laugh when the waitress slammed our food on the table and the check too and never said a word to us not even to ask us if we wanted another 2 dollar small can of soda! Lol we will NEVER eat here again!!!!!

Had I not bought a Groupon, I never would have known about this great little place! Since it was a day after Nemo, I wasn't sure it would be open, so, I called ahead. They were and were nice enough to take our name & clean a table for us. When we arrived we were greeted by the same friendly girl who I spoke with and she had our table waiting for us. Food: Great variety, local ingredients, very creative, deliciously prepared. I had trouble making up my mind. Mine came with carmelized onions and they were REALLY carmelized - so rich & sweet. So many places say they are when they are really just sauteed. Also, their home fries are to die for - just the right amount of crispy, crustyness and the potatoes were tender. Ambience: Quirky, retro, funky, creative, casual. They had some cool music playing of the likes of "You send me" from the '50's - that was fun to hear. Service: We did have to flag down the waitress a couple of times, but, they were very busy and they were still really friendly and attentive. No big deal. We live 25 miles from there and we will definitely be going back.

I love visiting my friend Tylea most in the morning? Why? Because she lives across the street from The Breakfast Place. I have yet to eat something in here that wasn't totally delicious and the staff is so friendly and eager to please. Don't be surprised if you see a special that's, well, SPECIAL! They come up with some really creative breakfast ideas. Try to have breakfast early or late, and then you won't have to wait!

Almond Joy Pancakes. Do it. Just expect to: a) wait for a while; b) be really cramped at your table; c) possibly be asked to sit w/ strangers. The place is TINY - they try to do a good job fitting everyone in but the end result is you may end up sitting in the doorway or sharing hashbrowns w/ "new friends".

The atmosphere is very cozy and family-ish. I loved it. Everyone in the family pitches in. The service was exemplary. Friendly, knowledgeable and prompt. The food was yummy. I had hash and eggs. The hash was a little mushy on the inside but crispy on the outside. I could definitly taste corned beef. Very tasty. Almost everybody else had pumpkin pancakes.

BZANGO!!! A small place to go to beakfast, close to home!!!! When I ate meat I really dug this place!! THEY HAVE BISCUITS AND GRAVY!!!!!!!!!! It's a tiny little place but it is cool. I seriously recommend it for all!!!! Good portions! Very good preparation! Good attention to detail on the simplest things shows a certain level of care, and this place cares! Prices......muy importante!!! very good. It's all you'd expect from a small breakfast place, but quite better! Green light!!!! Enjoy!!!!

First breakfast to try out in the new neighborhood. It was OK-I have had better, it is cozy and the staff are friendly. But nothing super to rave about. The one thing I was excited to see was the biscuits and gravy in addition to cheese grits! I am not even southerner, I am actually a total yank but with a southern appetite. Try this place out if it is close and no other option.

It made my stomach turn. The fans where so filled with dirt, it would be scary if they were on, the plastic things holding the condiments where during black from the dirt, the sponge they used to wipe things down was left out on the counter the whole time and did not use any cleaner, the table was sticky, the waitresses had nasty hands that looked like they just came from the garden, and the waitress was coughing on our food as she walked it over. It was sooo gross!

Father's Day breakfast 9:00 a.m. Busy but short wait. Interesting variations on diner breakfast food but too expensive. Discovered via Groupon and without coupon would have been $40 with tip. Too high for two at a diner, even a good one. As others mentioned, the hash is homemade and very good, tho in my case, could have been crispier. Poached eggs on Hash Benedict were perfectly done. Pancakes, according to wife were fine. Bacon was undercooked; sent it back for a zap. Orange juice tasted hand-squeezed, big check in plus column. The only disappointment was the home fries: undercooked, and no flavor. I'm a clean-plater but left most of them behind. We will go back but only special occasions at those prices.

I LOVE The Breakfast Place. I actually was afraid to try this place the first time we went, but I went online and googled it, and found a coupon on their website, so I decided to give it a whirl. I was sooo happy that we tried it!!! They have great specials, great prices, the waitresses are very friendly, they keep your coffee cup full. I love going in there and reading the specials. They had Huevos Rancheros (I think that's how you say it...) once on specials, it was sooo so good. My husband and I get the eggs benedict a lot, it's really good. I've never stopped by for their to-go breakfast, but I know they had a special that you'd get a free coffee if you brought in your own cup and bought a to-go breakfast. I might give it a try if I am ever running late to work!! I do have a couple problems. They changed their coffee to a free trade and I don't like it. It actually deters me from going there now, which is sad because I really enjoy it there. I also think they need a renovation, but that doesn't affect their food at all so I don't mind it.

I went here using a Groupon and on the recommendation of a few friends. They did warn it can be slow, and it wasn't lightning fast service, but it was very friendly and they were excellent at refreshing your coffee, which is good coffee from Rehoboth company Razzo's. I ordered a special, eggnog french toast with cranberry compote, and husband ordered hash and eggs. The french toast itself was pretty good, but the cranberry compote had absolutely no sugar... which was very weird. I suppose to each his own, but every recipe I've ever seen for cranberry compote calls for some sugar and there was just none in this one, at all, fact. Usually I wouldn't complain about something not being sweet enough, but if you've ever had a plain unsweetened cranberry, you understand. Anyhow, I just put a little syrup on it and moved on. Then I went up to pay. One of the waitresses accepted my Groupon for $20, and then started making coffee and taking plates out to people and such while I stood there like a dodo waiting to pay for the rest of the balance. After a while my husband and decided to check our pockets and get together enough for the remainder and a decent tip (even though at that point we were both pretty over it, they were nice and it was almost Christmas) so we could just get out of there. All in all, I would go back if someone wanted to go because I know my friends love it there, but based on this experience I wasn't super thrilled.

After a couple more pancakes, skillets and bennies, I can safely say the food here is great, the coffee still stinks, and the service has.....character. I strongly encourage the following action: order take out from here, make coffee at home or hit a coffee shop, and eat your Portuguese Benedict and Almond Joy pancakes in a peaceful location far away from cursing (though friendly enough) staff.

Don't you just love finding "hole-in-the-wall" places that are great? I'm almost reluctant to post this review, since we went the last weekend and it was already crowded enough, dammit! LOL Last thing we need is for everyone to know.. Seriously though, we had a great breakfast here. Eggs were great. The omelet was STUFFED with cheese and ham, and my linguicia sausage was great. I also loved it when ham is griddled long enough to get some nice browning on it, and they apparently agree. We also tried their pumpkin pancake with cinnamon butter, and it was great. Not overpowering on the pumpkin or spice, but enough to be a little extra bit delicious.

I came to The Breakfast Place a few weeks ago, and I loved the comfortable atmosphere and Halloween decor. It is a family-run restaurant, and our waitress was the daughter of the owners. My friend ordered a special green eggs and ham omelet. My mom ordered the Texas style French toast, and I had Platter #1 with eggs over-easy and a pancake. I thought that the service and food were good. I like their creative spin on some dishes, such as the green eggs and ham (obvi, since I'm a teacher!) and season-based breakfasts (i.e. pumpkin pancakes). I would have liked to try something more creative, but I wasn't starving at the time. I wish this place were closer to my house for a second visit.

The food at this place is excellent! They make great omlettes (Bacon & Cheddar, and The Meat Lovers are my favs). Love their homefries (Great seasoning, crispy bite leads to soft inside, just the way i make it at home....only not as spicy). They buy excellent cuts of bacon, and are one of the few places I've eaten breakfast that will actually cook it the way you like it (most places bring the bacon out either too floppy or burnt to a crisp and nothing in between, these folks actually cook to order) And they have all sorts of specials (new, delicious, creative ideas all the time). The one I enjoyed most (which I hope they bring back some day) was the "Bacon and Egg Scramble". It was scrambled eggs with a ton of bacon and cream cheese.....I know it sounds like a weird combination, but it really is incredible, it's honestly in my top 3 breakfast dishes ever. Staff are always pleasant, and get your food to you as quick as they can (the more crowded, the longer the wait) To any/all who are complaining about their coffee.....yeah, it wasn't so great back in the day, but since they started using that delicious organic coffee, it has improved 10 fold. If you don't like the coffee they serve now, you're probably one of those taste-bud-less DD's drinkers who prefer moderately caffeinated hot brown water with a touch of coffee flavoring as opposed to real coffee. I also get bit nostailgic in this place, as I spent a lot of time there (before the smoking ban) with friends after leaving bars at 1 or 2 in the morning drinking insane amounts of coffee, making dirty jokes and chain smoking (Unfortunately, they're not open those hours anymore). A lot of good memories from those times.

I've past this place a million times, from the outside it looks like a dump that's why I've never even thought about going here, but because of the other yelp reviews I decided to try it out and I was happy that I did. Customer service, food and location is good, but they could definitely use some remodeling!

Fantastic breakfast food! I had a goat cheese, egg white, spinach, and mushroom omelet. Sooooooooooooo good! Great yummy low cal alternatives. I'm in love with the grilled apples. Such a wonderful, simple, and healthy alternative. I'd be here every day if it was closer to my home.

Breakfast is my favorite meal to go out for, but very few places have any creativity in their breakfast menus. Enter The Breakfast Place. Huge, inspired menu, friendly home-town feel, very reasonable prices. Just make sure you bring cash, since it's all they accept.

Fabulous!! We were looking for a place outside Boston on our way to Providence. My daughter and I had the egg sandwich (mine was on English muffin, hers on a bagel). Hard to say what they do to make them sooo good - but they do! Hubby's omelet (western) was great as well. Check it out!

Just simplified their menu and have moved to as much organic and locally grown food as possible. The home fries were good, now they are great. I have been coming to this place for 4 years and the food has always been great. It just got a little better with this change. The staff has always been exceptionally friendly and ready to take care of you. Their specials are usually unique and amazing. I cannot recommend this place enough.

Absolutely wonderful! After reading the reviews on here, I had to try this place. And I was definitely not disappointed. They have such unique breakfasts. The people that were with me all found it so hard to decide b/c everything sounded so good! The portions were big and the prices were low. Compared with Hearth n' Kettle where our bill was about 50 bucks for 3 people, this bill was only 23. Definitely makes sense to me! I had the mexican skillet, which was delicious- two eggs anyway you want em over homefries, cheese, chili...mmm! I would highly recommend checking this place out. Seems like they serve breakfast pretty late too! I noticed on Saturday that they don't close til 2pm.

    (4)
  • Katie R.

Hands down!

  • Karen B.

Don't go here. Just save yourself the trouble. The price doesn't match the amount of food you get. Also if you like bad service and cold food this place is for you. You've been warned.

I've past this place a million times, from the outside it looks like a dump that's why I've never even thought about going here, but because of the other yelp reviews I decided to try it out and I was happy that I did. Customer service, food and location is good, but they could definitely use some remodeling!

  • Melissa W.

Live nearby and finally decided to try this place because I found a Groupon for it. The Breakfast Place is so good!! Their coffee is locally brewed in Rehobath, their food is incredibly fresh, and the wait staff was awesome. We will be back!

  • A. F.

Yum!!

This is my favorite breakfast place! It's a small hole in the wall but they have delicious breakfast skillets and yummy banana split pancakes.
