we watched them build this and wondered what it was to be and then they opened in the back so we didn't get there right away but finally did, it is clean and has plans to expand, already has a large fireplaced area about ready to go, service was pleasant and efficient (thanks arianna) and the food was great, wife had the eggs florentine which were excellent and i had a omelet, also very good......nice place....they are open to 8pm and have a nice looking lunch menu and also an ice cream window....also had a very nicve outside seating area...go ashby!!!

Great spot along the way - Rt 119. Clean - staff was super friendly and they had Gluten free bread! Other GF folks know just how awesome that is. Thanks 873 for getting it.

We stopped in as it seemed to be the only place within many miles. It was great! Quaint, clean and the staff was so fun. Julia was a trip! Kept us chuckling all the eay through lunch. Sit at the counter if you go. BLT and fries was awesome!

Nothing here is homemade. No quality products. Velveeta mac and cheese (really!!!!) grocery store brand bread and Prego spaghetti sauce. Gross.

Good as it gets out here. Friendly with good grub. Lunch for two for 15 is hard to beat. Service is pleasant but should learn to clear dirty plates a bit faster. Fresh farm milk and eggs.

I was so excited when I found out this was opening because Ashby has no restaurant or place to go and relax and grab a bite to eat. The breakfast here is generic, but not terrible. Make sure you have 2 hours to kill because it takes FOREVER to get seated and served your food. I've eaten a few times on the weekend and I don't understand why it is SO understaffed- it's ridiculous. If you are a new business, you want your customers to have a positive experience, and making them wait 2 hours for their food isn't a good start. It just sets a bad precedent. The atmosphere is pretty and it is nice inside, but the food is nothing special. I was really hoping since we are such a small town and local farms are so prominent in the area they would have fresher, unique dishes. Instead you are basically getting a lower version of Kimball's menu of fried fish and chicken with fries. Really disappointing. For this reason, we never go there for dinner anymore. I hope they really change because we just keep going there less and less as the experience gets worse and worse. I hope they listen to the feedback and comments- I've only wrote one other restaurant review online, and it's because I want this restaurant to work. The town needs it. Thanks.

Tried to give 873 the benefit of the doubt when they first opened, but it is still hit or miss. Hope they get it right consistently because it's a great location, beautiful venue, and very nice staff. Would love it to be a go-to spot but they've got to get thru some growing pains.

Went with the family down to the 873 - I had sausage, biscuits & gravy. It was awesome. Nice local place to relax and have some grub. All locally sourced farm fresh products.
