My favorite location! Sometimes you just need a plate full of Scattered Smothered Covered hash browns to make your day! This is my favorite one because it is really clean. The staff stays the same and they do a really good job. On busy mornings they have a "hostess" who seats people first come first serve. And does a good job at clearing tables as soon as available. My food is always good (NEVER a greasy dive taste like other locations). Great place for a late breakfast with family or friends.

I have yet to come across a waffle house in my life that is five stars. Of course any waffle house could use a little remodeling. It's waffle house what do you expect. It's hit or miss at this Walker branch location. all depends on if you have a young staff, new cook, experience cook or waitress.

I will be the dissenter. My girls and I came here for lunch after church. Kiresten was our waitress. Service was great, the food was hot and delicious. It was the best Waffle House experience I've had in years.

In the place now. All the other reviewers are right, the people are cold and don't really care if you are here or not. The place is completely FILTHY! Behind the counter is more filthy than the dining area. I don't know how the health department lets this place stay open. It is so cold in here that you can't eat in comfort. When told it was too cold they said it's been that way all day. They don't know how to operate a the thermostat? Run by a set of total morons. Other customers are leaving because of the temperature. The food came out and had to be sent back twice. Forgot to bring the waffle so it sits on the counter and gets cold. When asked about it, oops we forgot! We will fix another one. Fine, I'm already finished with the other food. I finished meal 5 -10 minutes before wife's food comes out. The people behind counter griping the whole time saying each other aren't pulling their weight and arguing with each other. That's just what I want to hear during my meal! Do yourself a favor and get a muffin at McDonalds versus going to this place. You WILL regret it if you go here. It is very obvious that this place is completely lacking management and the inmates are running the asylum here. HEALTH DEPT COME CHECK THIS PLACE OUT!!

Ok, here's why I don't like going back to a place I had a bad experience at. It was even worse this time!!! Nothing, not even the waffle was edible. I contacted their head office this time and received a assurance that things would be better next time and they were sending me gift certificates to go eat their again. Guess what? I never got them. What I did get was a voicemail message a month later telling me the district manager wrote my address down wrong so the certificates got returned. I never bothered calling back to correct my address for them. Seems they have difficulty doing things right on many levels ;)

The food is fine. Typical home style food. The older lady who "greets" people has the demeanor of a wet cat! She is extremely rude! I'm guessing she knows someone because she lacks any customer service skills. She'll even move dirty dishes to the edge of a table then sit someone there while there are still the dirty dishes! Even if she doesn't consider it her "title" then they still are a team and should help as needed. We cringe anytime we go because she is always there. Doesn't even pretend to try and be friendly. Mostly drags her feet and growls under her breath! Waffle House should realize that they are losing a lot of business to IHOP in Denham. Shame because the people who actually work there would get better tips too if they weren't greeted so poorly. The first to greet and the last person to have contact with the customer determine whether someone will go back. I understand if she is desperate for a job and they are helping her out, but she doesn't even try. Ya'll are helping her and she has the audacity to ruin your business! Let her go and you'd have a lot more business. Realize she is costing you $ than she is worth and let her go or put her in check and hold her accountable. She is terrible!
