Ribs were great! Fall-off-the-bone tender. Wonderfully smokey flavor. Wait staff very attentive. I would visit again.

Came here on Tuesday around 11:30 am. Four tables had customers, not busy. I travel extensively, some of my favorite places have been local mom & pop restaurants. I sat almost in the middle of the room, maybe 20 tables. After 10 minutes of being ignored, I left, so I cannot rate the food, service I can & it wasn't good. Not sure if they were short handed, regardless, I opted to go spend my money elsewhere. Obviously you cannot make A posting without rating the place. So I gave it the minimum rating.

This small place was busy at lunch around 12:30pm. I ate lunch here with 5 other coworkers. There was only one waitress for this small place. The menus were at each table so you could start deciding what you want. I ordered a large Chopped Beef sandwich ($4.99) and fries ($1.49). The food all came out at the same time which was good. The Chopped Beef sandwich was extremely dry and dousing it with the BBQ sauce was the only thing I could do to take some of that dryness out. The BBQ sauce was alright and the fries were okay. A large sandwich and fries were just right for me in terms of the amount of food. Besides the extremely dry Chopped Beef sandwich, it took so long to pay because of their credit card machine. Everybody before me was paying by credit card so it was extremely slow. It probably took 10-15 minutes to pay. This was the only BBQ place around so I suppose it was okay at best.

It's ok. Not the best BBQ I have had but not the worst. I wouldn't pay 10.99 for two meat. Maybe stick to burger or catfish. The corn fritters are the best :)

Went back for a second try because I wanted to explore the menu some more. This time, I got the St. Louis style ribs and they were delicious, decided to try the cole slaw as well and it was very good. My friend ordered the Cajun fried catfish filets and loved it he also ordered the corn fritters (fried up bits of corn) as a side and offered me one of them, and they were very good! I would totally give this place five stars but for the tiny side portions that they offer (see my previous review) they literally scoop out the potato salad (which is good) with an ice scream scoop the literal size of a golf ball. The service here is good as well. If you plan on dining inside, just walk on in and have a seat. You don't need to order at the counter or need to wait to be seated. The server will come to you once you have seated in the dining room area. Oh! And they offer Guauxsicles (See my review here on Yelp!) as a dessert option in this restaurant! Yay!
