This place is definitely a reprieve from your usual domino's etc. This is actually great pizza with great toppings. The calzones are also worth a try. Sometimes the food takes a little long to come out, but hey, they are making it fresh for you, so it's hard to complain. Being connected to the Piazza bar, there is a wide offering of drinks and beers. There are often drink specials (i.e., 2 for 1 pints) that can be a pleasant surprise if you didn't know about them before you got there. It's not a huge place, but the booths are fairly large and you can fit a party of six if you care to try. Several TV's, usually with sports on. Staff is friendly. Overall good experience, and it's definitely worth a try.

I was terribly disappointed in the pizza at this restaurant. Many people said that the food was good, so maybe my expectations were too high. I order the pepperoni pizza. The pizza was not crispy and there was nothing special about the sauce. I've better homemade pizza at home!

Looking for a place for late dinner. After an extensive search and only finding fast food and chains , we were lucky enough to find this great place. I had the Muffelatta the wife had a calzone. Food was very good and the homemade chips were outstanding. The wife ate almost all if mine. :) The muff was very good but the bread was a little to toasted on the ends. Not a deal breaker and I would definitely eat it again. Our server was awesome!!! Wait for food was not an issue. Parking was very easy. Would definetly eat here again.

Each time I visit Thibadaux I visit Peppers. The food and the drinks are amazing. However there are a few drawbacks. Food - we ordered two different types of breadsticks as appetizers. The jalapeño cheese sticks with sour cream and salsa were awesome. However the buffalo with ranch dipping sauce fell short. It tasted more like bread with a little buffalo sauce and no cheese. I was quite disappointed. We were really hungry so we still ate the entire thing. We also ordered three pizzas. The best was the Greek and the the supreme. The Greek is always a favorite as it hits all of the right taste buds. My husband ordered a calzone and it was huge! He got the seafood one with the gator meat. It was really spicy but it was excellent! There is always a good selection of beers on tap. What else would we order with pizza? Drawback is always the service. It's generally slow but this time she was downright ignoring us. She took forever to even put our orders in. Hopefully when I return I don't have to have her again.

Stopped in with a big group (8 people) on 9/6/14 after completing a pottery class at Purple Penguin Art Company that was one of my sister's birthday presents.... This place is long and narrow which seems to be a theme with these buildings in Old Town Thibodaux... had 9 to 10 booths for patrons.... Smelled delicious upon walking in... seated without delay... have a rather expansive menu covering pizza, poboys, pasta, calzones, muffaletas etc....the group ordered quite the mix from various pizzas to a muffaleta to fettucini and I ordered a calzone....I was debating about the Roast Beef poboy but went calzone... Also ordered a gravy fries appetizer and after I tasted that gravy on those fries I actually got a tear in my eye thinking about that Roast Beef poboy I DIDN'T order! Everybody loved their meals with me being the exception... Now that wasn't the restaurant's fault but mine... the interior of that calzone was some kinda tasty I just wasn't into all the dough it was wrapped in, basically it was buyer's remorse after I tasted that gravy cause I shoulda gone with the poboy! No matter, I dig this place and will definitely stop in again and anyone in Thibodaux I strongly encourage you to stop in and try it out for yourself

Italian in the Deep South - this is what you expect. I was very impressed with the food. I was their on a Monday night and its was fairly quiet downtown. I'd go back again but wouldn't sit at the bar again - too much chatter from behind it. I loved the Cajun Calzone and two for one beers - it was great!!!

Happened upon this place on my honeymoon when my husband and I checked in too late at The Dansereau House and our dinner options became very limited. Would go back just to get waited on by Kaylee (of Ohio). She's a charming, funny girl and gave us excellent service. My husband and I split the whole muffaletta and should have split the half because it was way too much food. It was pretty good. Enjoyed a free glass of wine since Thursday's are ladies night, so that was nice!

Excellent pizza! The waitress and staff were nice enough to customize my pizza. by adding something I special requested. Staff was very attentive to us. I would go every day if this were in my neighborhood.

Peppers is not a Chicago market pizza place, it's in Thibodaux and Houma. They offer a very different take on the Pizza Hut, papa John, little ceases, and dominos crowd. I am from Chicago, and if I do say so, I really enjoy peppers. They have some really good pizzas. No, they can't compete with Chicago's Home Run Inn, but they don't have to.

I've been to the Houma location many times but this was my first time at this location. We had a fantastic waitress, Teresina. We were a party of five and she was very attentive, refilling drinks before it was needed. Ya never want to run out first. The cheesy bread and pizza were awesome. The atmosphere was especially nice. Small and cozy. It was lunch time on a Saturday. The Houma location feels like a chain but this one feels like one of it's kind.

Great food and atmosphere on of my favorite places to eat at in Thibodaux however this time had horrible service waited at least 20 min with an empty drink waiting for the server to come refill it while I could see her behind the counter just talking with her coworkers.

People go here for the pizza. But also try the house chips and Buffalo Wings. Better than designer wings offered at national chains. Taco Pizza, Greek, and Jambalaya are all worthy.

Never in a million years did I think I'd ever utter the phrase "Some of the best Pizza I've had was from Thibadaux Louisana"....Peppers I love you!! After a wedding we decided to do some boozin and eatin and Pizza would hit the spot. The place was packed and erupted into applause when we strolled in with the newly wedded couple...I have to say the people in Louisiana are insanely nice and welcoming. It makes a California asshole such as myself take a look in the mirror and check my hating ways at the door. The waitstaff scrambled to find us a big enough table and a super sweet patron and his family even gave up their table and decided to do take out instead just so we could all sit together. Another patron bought us a round of celebratory beer too...again freaking salt of the earth people in LA. My boyfriend and I ordered the Fireball Pizza (Pepperoni, Italian sausage, cheddar & house cheese with extra hot sauce and diced red jalapeno) and the House Chicken Ranch (A ranch base, roasted garlic, crispy bacon, grilled chicken, red onion, cheddar cheese & tomatoes). Others in our group ordered the Gambino's Muffaletta (Garlic infused oil, Italian olive mix, genoa salami, ham & house cheese) and a couple of Cal zones. The wait was sssuuupppeeerrr long, I'd say over an hour however the payoff was well worth it. The crust on Pepper's pizza was the best I've ever had...thin and airy with a crunchy outside and soft and buttery on the inside. I've always heard the water in the crust is what makes a pizza and I have to say that swamp water in LA made for some great crust. The ratio of cheese to toppings where perfect and not too greasy....no Domino's Bubble guts the next day. The Muffaletta pizza had that great salty olive spread that went great with the garlicky crust. Everything was super fresh and the 1 calzone could feed 3 people. I know few Yelpers will probably find themselves in the tiny town of Thibodaux but it deserves a 5 Start Shout out!

The first two times I've come here, it was great. Good food, amazing waitresses... I thoroughly enjoyed it. Tonight however was the worse experience I've ever had dining out. The waitress didn't put in all of our order and it was like she didn't even realize it when we asked where the rest of our food was. She blamed the kitchen but our whole table had worked in all parts of restaurants so we know when it's the kitchen or the waiter just blaming them. Our food that we did get all came out at different times. The waitress also visited a table right next to us multiple times before coming back to us. I have never been so disappointed. My sister didn't even get to eat at the restaurant. She had to bring it home because it was forgotten. I hope this was a fluke but honestly I don't know if ill be back to find out. The only reason I gave two stars was bc of my past experiences.

The pizza here is the shiz nitz! I've had the pleasure of eating here before I ate at the one in Houma. This place makes pizza right and shouldn't even be compared to Dominos, Pizza Hut, and etc. Had the Peppers supreme and Jambalaya pizza and they were both delicious. It did take a lil time to come out, but I didn't mind because it was made fresh and tasted fresh. Also tried the jalapeno cheesy bread which was also very cheesy and tasty. They have a variety of different things to choose from here also. Chicken wings, calzones, sandwiches, pasta, and more. Too bad I don't frequent Thibodaux anymore, but if I did I would definitely stop by for their delicious pizzas. ^_^

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
