Love this local spot for drinks, food, visiting, and listening to good music. Creative menus and cozy atmosphere. Enjoy casual dining in the bar or a nicer dining experience in the main dining room.

The food was spectacular and the ambience was very nice! I can't wait to come back. I had the Shrimp and Oyster Rustica my friend had The Spicy Chicken Sandwich! She said the homemade fries were the best she ever had! I can't wait to come back for a date nite!

Great food, great atmosphere. You can order from the dinner menu and have duck, rabbit, etc or order from the bar menu and get a Couchon d'lait po boy or a great spicy chicken sandwich. Everything is well prepared and delicious

We ate here twice. The first was off of a whim, we walked in and was immediately helped. The food was very good; flavorful, birstro-esque, never greasy or cheap. I say one of the best in Slidell. Second time we went was during the Arts Evening, it was packed but the hostess was nice enough to fit us in and call us from (the bar next door) The Maple Room. By the way, Nick the bartender there, he's thee guy to ask to make your drinks. The sazarac I got was better then anything I got in New Orleans, strong, smooth, and way cheaper. My friends and I agree that if we go to Old Town for drinks we now have to go to the Maple Room.

The server was a little abrasive... So that wasn't a great start. But she was trying to be nice after the initial awkward interaction. Heavier set red head, doesn't like to give out recommendations and likes to make customers feel like an idiot. The place smells a little an old bar. Oh wait, it is an old bar. Old bar=vodka+vomit We ordered the fried green tomatoes with BBQ shrimp as an appetizer. They tried to fool us and served fried RED tomatoes. That is just disrespectful. NEVER GOING BACK. And neither should you. You've been warned!

Meet some friends here for the first time. I thought it was just okay. I had the soft shell crab over pasta. Tasty but not the best. I do like the bar side and would probably stick with that menu next time.

Restaurant Cote is a great addition to Slidell. The restaurant has a New Orleans feel. I started with the fried green tomatoes with blackened shrimp, it was delicious not to spicy and very flavorful. My entre consisted of a very reasonably priced filet mignon and lyonnaise potatoes and it was not a disappointment. The filet was very flavorful. To top it all off dessert consisted of crème brulee, now I am not a fan of sweets, but this dessert was mouth watering good. The service was excellent. The whole experience was great. I will most definitely return.

I had the sweat and spicy BBQ bacon burger, and I was pleasantly surprised! The outside of the restaurant is very nice, although the inside is a little confused. It smelled a littleee like bourbon st. I didn't get the scent of yummy food AT ALL. the bar stools look nasty and a lot of other things could use a face lift. But when I got my burger it looked like it came out of a magazine! And it tasted like it too! Good thing I got it togo bc the smell of this place is a little concerning. Therefore, 3 stars.

Just had a fabulous brunch with a party of 7 for my husbands birthday. The chicken and beignets are awesome! Fried green tomatoes and blackened shrimp were sooooo good! Oh and the grilled romaine in the grilled Cesar salad with crispy oysters was so smoky and delicious! Yum!

Service was top notch. We orders two fish plates one blackened one fried. Bread pudding was great.

Great place to get into a fight but not a place I would ever care to be seen in again. Food is just ok. Service is just ok. Its a bar with food. Maybe fun if u are single and 21 but not the place to go for a nice dinner out.

I love the laid-back atmosphere of the Maple Room and its staff- everyone is very friendly and I've never been disappointed with their drink recommendations. The stools are more comfortable than a typical bar stool, and they have 'yappy hour' (I believe that's what it's called) for dogs! Love this place and I always try to stop in for a drink when I'm in town.

One of Slidell's best kept secrets! The atmosphere is amazing and the service was wonderful. The fried green tomato and blackened shrimp appetizer was excellent, the blackened red snapper with the grit cake and spinach was out of this world. The bone in pork chop stuffed with apples, served with a sweet potato purée was exceptional. The prices were very reasonable and they have a bar attached to the restaurant that plays great music and has the atmosphere of the French Quarter. Their basil cucumber lemonade was a hit as well. Will definitely be back to try more of their dishes.

I've not eaten here yet, but I do stop in from time to time for a mid-afternoon drink, so here's my review of that type of experience. Although, I have looked at their menu and thought that I'd like to give it a try sometime. I like the very laid back vibe of this place. They have a few beers on tap and their service is always friendly with a smile. Those stools at the bar with the lumbar supports are rather...uncomfortable, though, but luckily, they have seating up in the front windows, so that's good. The building is old-timey looking on the outside and many times have I passed when it was shut down and thought to myself, "Boy, would this place look great as an Irish Pub", but Cote' and the Maple Room are not a let-down by any means. Over-all, it is quite a nice place to have a relaxing drink in an inviting and comfortable atmosphere.
