There are four fried chicken fast food joints within 200 yards of each other here. We'd eaten at the others in different towns, but this place was new to us northerners. I was initially a bit put off due to the fact that they basically only serve one thing, chicken tenders...but whooeee, I'm glad that didn't stop us because they were super good! They say the chicken is fresh and never frozen before cooked. They say they only do one thing and do it super well. They say they've got the best tenders. I'm a believer. Sign me up. Put me in coach, I'm ready to play. Hot, juicy, crispy, good seasonings and a tasty dipping sauce. Fries were hot, coleslaw was good, and Texas toast rounded out the meals. Sweet tea makes this the perfect southern chicken meal. We thought we'd have a few extra tenders towards the end of our meal, but somehow we finished them all...they were soooo easy to eat...kind of like a chicken doughnut...you can always find room for one more. Now my big problem is eating at these other chicken places again...they will pale in comparison now. oh well, it's a curse I will have to bear.

Went through the drive thru... And when we got home with the 3 finger and a box that we ordered the pieces of chicken were tiny and mostly fried batter... We love Canes but, they need to step up their game here. We went to one in Kenner a week ago and it was by far the best Canes my boyfriend and I had ever had.

I'm not from Louisiana. While I've been there many times, it's been a while since we've made each others acquaintance. On a recent road trip, I stopped off an exit after dinner and checked my handy Yelp app for advice on a place to eat. It was clear, Raisin Cane's was the favorite son. Being from Alabama, I'd never heard of Raising Cane's. But once I walked in, it was very familiar. The menu was almost, if not exactly like the ol' Guthrie's menu from Alabama. Guthrie's was, or maybe is, a chicken finger place that hit a huge boom in Alabama in the late 90's until the late 2000's. It has since fallen to the "people trying to eat right" era. Either way, this place was a blast from my past. Once I got past my food guilt, I happily ordered a "box" and began to chow down. Th echicken fingers, fries, slaw, and sauce were like a (cheat meal) dream come true. I don't know what came first, Raising Cane's or Guthrie's... and I don't really care. Sinfully delicious.

If you appreciate the art of frying chicken, consider this your chicken tender mecca. They are somehow able to provide that wonderful cripsy outer shell expected of chicken fingers while maintaining a tender, moist, flavor packed core. The sweet tea is crack. I dont even like coleslaw and its the first thing I eat. If you really wanna go crazy get a half sweet tea/half lemonade (aka Arnold Palmer) and order the meal extra crispy. If I wouldnt turn into a butterball, id eat canes daily. Yum!

Raising Cane's is a type of fast food restaurant you do not see often anymore: they make one thing, and this particular thing is Chicken Fingers. You can get them as a combo of four, three, on a sandwich, or party style with 25, 50, 75, or 100 fingers. The pictures make them look huge, so I got three fingers. They're not very big, so if you are hungry, I'd get the four-plate. They come with fries and toasted bread, and the special chicken finger sauce. This is a massive carb-attack you probably want to stay away from.

By far some of the best chicken fingers I've had, id live here if I had to.

This is the only take-out Chicken I can eat. Must be the way it's prepared, but it's awesome. Tender, super juicy chicken, perfectly cooked non greasy fries, toast, and that sauce. I could seriously drink it. Everything goes in it. They sell their tea and lemonade by the gallon and have great tailgate packages The only problem I have is the access from Gause. Turning left is near impossible, but worth it.

Omg I love the Cane's sauce. I love that the chicken is hot and fresh and the fries are to die for every time I come. Pretty fast efficient service kinda hard to mess up chicken and fries. I consider Canes a treat because the box combo is a whopping 1125 calories. So when I have been good Cane's is the treat for me.

After a long sojourn from this place, I stopped by and got a Caniac meal. Best. Decision. Ever. The order didn't even make it home. Polished it off in the car. I had forgotten just how damn tasty the tenders were. Best chicken tenders in the universe!

I think Cane's is an okay place, but I always find myself eating it for some reason. Usually when I order here it's late and it's slightly soggy. This is surprising given that Cane's is supposed to be fried fresh to order. Also they throw a little salt on the toast which is already perfectly fine on its own. I'm not too keen on their fries either. Cane's fries is usually too dry for my taste. I can't complain too much though, they are open later than most places in the 'dell. I just don't like that Cane's always has to charge you for extras or substitutes.

Very good food. Came in from Alabama and must say the chicken here. Just stating you have a choice of chicken tenders, fries and cole slaw.

Raising canes is suuuper delish!! I love this place I could eat there several times a week! I always get the 3 finger combo- 3 chicken fingers (fresh- no heat lamps here) with French fries and buttered toast. But the best part is the canes sauce, it's addictive and delicious in every way! The customer service is always excellent and food comes out super fast! Must try!!!

I mean it's Cane's. Do people actually not like Cane's? Trying moving to Boston where there is only ONE. You will realize how much you actually did love Cane's.

Whoa. Did I just give a fast food joint 5 stars? Yes sir, I did. Raising Cane's is awesome. I love them for so many reasons. -Cane's sauce -They cook your chicken when you order it. There's no chicken sitting under a heating lamp here. -The very first place to open after Katrina here. Very. First. Place. No grocery stores, gas stations, fast food places were open here for weeks. Cane's saved my life. Seriously. -Cane's sauce -They are local. The first Raising Cane's was opened in Baton Rouge. -Their chicken is delicious. So are their fries, toast, coleslaw, sweet tea, lemonade and that sauce. That sauce is so damn good that I dip everything in it. Everything. -They love and support the New Orleans Saints. I could go on and on, but I need to order now. You should go there too. Ask for extra sauce. Trust me.

The chicken is really good and fresh and so are the fries and toast. The coleslaw is average. Everyone loves the sauce and it is good, but it kind of reminds me of peppercorn ranch. 4 out of 5 stars because I would like more side options. Where's the fried okra and corn on the cob?

As far as fast food goes, this place is much higher than the standard. Food is always freshly cooked, high quality, and delicious. Yes, you pay a little more for it that other fast food chains. But the quality and freshness make it worthwhile.

The food is always solid. The simplicity of the menu brings me back to in n out. Though I can't always stomach fried chicken my boyfriend craves Canes. Which I understand their sauce is possibly one of the best I've had. Can not go wrong unless you have acid reflux like me. :)

Amazingly hot and fresh fries and chicken every single time. The people that work there are super friendly and accommodating. We've eaten here everyday for two weeks. We love it and will miss it when we go home. Hopefully they will open one in our city. Caniac is a great meal. The chicken sandwich is simple and delicious.
