Pho Bistro Menu

Sorry, We are updating this restaurant menu details.

Went with my husband for dinner. He ordered pho number 10, which included the meatballs, trife (cows stomach) and tendons. He loved it. I, However, took his word on the trife. I ordered the pho tai, which was WONDERFUL! And for dessert, we tried the avocado tapioca smoothie. It was delish, except I wasn't too sure about the tapioca beads, they were kind of gummy. I guess that is what they are supposed to be like though. Will order it without them next time. We loved this little pho restaurant and will definitely be back!!

We have had nothing but great food from Pho Bistro. Service can be a little on the slow side if eating in, but nothing to complain about. We have tried many different things from the menu and have never been disappointed. We often get take out and not once have they messed up an order or forgot anything. A+ If I HAD to complain about something, I'd say that I think they could put a little more chicken in the Pho Ga but that would just be nit picking. One of my fav places to eat on the Northshore. (and I've asked the owners if they are the same owners as the previous Saigon Noodle Soup from a few blocks away, and they've said no)

Came here for dinner and was greeted with a smile (probably because I'm Asian -lol- and there's not many around this area). Ordered taro boba and spring rolls (#1 on the menu) to start off. The bubble tea was made well (blended to a smoothie consistency and not too sweet) with the boba having a lil more chew to it than I'm used to. The spring rolls (good size, fresh, and wrapped well) were really good along with the peanut sauce (good consistency and not watery). Ordered #21 (a rice vermicelli dish with lemongrass chicken) and was pleasantly surprised with the nicely seasoned and not over cooked chicken. The fish sauce that comes with the dish wasn't as pungent as I'd like, but I'm not too picky as the flavor was still there. The price and portion of food was fair and comparable to other Viet places I've eaten at in Florida (where I'm from). Would come here again. :)

This place had just opened a couple of days before I ate here. The first time I ate here I had the Pho Tai Nam and two days later I came back and ordered the Pho Bistro Dac Biet which is a beef soup with pieces of steak, brisket and meatballs. Both Pho were very delicious! I also had the spring rolls and the regular fried egg rolls. The Spring rolls were very good, the regular fried egg rolls were okay, probably because I don't usually like fried foods as much. If you've never had pho, make sure you ask the waitress what to add to the soup. There is an oil and a red hot sauce that should go into it. The portions are generous. This is a good restaurant for Vietnamese food. As long as I'm staying in Slydell, this will be a weekly stop for me.

Pho Bistro serves as the new location just blocks away from the closed down restaurant Saigon Noodle. The atmosphere is typical of a Vietnamese restaurant: lots of gold statues out front, very simple table set ups with the usual condiments. The people that work there are always excited to see us since we are Vietnamese and greet us warmly. If you're looking for bubble teas, Pho Bistro serves them! They can hit the spot on hot days and I always have one with my pho. My best recommendation is da chanh (fresh limeade) but I haven't ordered on from here yet as I always order my bubble tea. For an appetizer we usually have Goi Cuon Tom (rice paper spring rolls with shrimp) served with the traditional peanut hoisin sauce. The rolls are fat and yummy and never disappoint. The pho isn't too bad. It still has all the flavors of traditional Vietnamese pho. Since I first came they have improved and expanded their menu. The Pho Bistro Dac Biet (pho with everything) now actually comes with all the bells and whistles: tendon, tripe, bo vien (beef meatballs), and bo tai (thinly sliced beef). Since the change I am definitely more excited to have a weekly fix of Pho Bistro. But now instead of just your staple dishes they expanded their menu to include more hu tieu (glass noodles) bun (vermicelli) and other great dishes seen on larger Vietnamese menus. The service is great. They have a regular girl now who is younger and she is spectacular. She remembered my drink order (strawberry bubble tea with green apple jelly) the second time she served us. Unlike most other vietnamese places, drinks will make it to the table BEFORE your food does (many times in different places I WILL have all my food and then my drink comes). Bear in mind I am used to the usual system: order, get your food, no complaints, pay at the register without waiting for your bill. That's just the way most Vietnamese restaurants work. But I do think they try to hand you the bill if you're "American" (no offense there just saying). They try harder to please the clientele in Slidell. Prices are very reasonable. We normally order two bubble teas, an appetizer and two bowls of pho and it comes out to be around 30 bucks. That's not bad to be full and satisfied. Pho and some other dishes range around $6.99 to $7.99 normally. If you're going to eat pho in Slidell, this is probably the place to go. I think actually it is the ONLY one! *Edited review after I have eaten more numerously

Pho Bistro has the best bistro in the area.. including new Orleans.. always consistently good... I would drive from new Orleans to visit this place.. new Orleans has great pho restaurants but after a while they become inconsistent. Getting the same thing every time I visit is important

Ok...I am a Pho Professional. Where ever my travels land, I always check out the area Pho establishments. This being said, I was a little disappointed, the main ingredients were lacking in quantity IMO. Perhaps this was due to the low in costs. The pho broth was flavorful but a little on the greasy side.

Went here this evening for my first Pho experience. It was good. I wouldn't say it was the best thing I've ever had, but it was very good and I will be back. We also got the beef spring rolls which were very good. I'm not a fan of peanut sauce so I don't know if it was good or not. Our entrees, the #54, which is a steak dish served with rice, cucumber, and tomato, and the #24, which was kind of a stir fry with chicken, shrimp, beef, and vegetables served over noodles, were both very good. Everything was seasoned well and had great flavor. As far as the restaurant itself, it could use a good cleaning. It wasn't filthy, but it wasn't exactly clean either. We were the first table to sit for dinner, so we were surprised to see the table we had picked was dirty. The booth seat also had a giant tear right in the middle of it. The service was good but could have been much better. Being the only table there I should not have had to wait for a refill. However, our server was very friendly and was helpful when it came to making our selections and she even made my 5 year old some kid's chopsticks. Overall I thought the food was very good and that's all that matter to me. I will be back.

Best Vietnamese I have found so far in Slidell. The egg rolls and fried wontons are good. I really like the Lemongrass Beef, it is stir fried with broccoli, carrots, and onions, with a brown sauce that is very tasty. You also get a cup of the wonton soup with the lemongrass beef. That soup is awesome. It isn't like other places that just put chicken broth in a bowl and throw a couple of wontons into the mix. My wife enjoys the grilled beef bun. Although last time we ate there, we went late and her noodles seemed to be overcooked and to the point of being mushy. Besides that, our food has always been good. The service is good, but usually only one person in the back cooking, one cleaning tables, and one taking orders and serving. Oh, and the tapioca smoothies are awesome, try the mango.

OK so I am a pho junkie. This is because I tried pho for the phost time at Saigon Noodle Shop on Gause Blvd in Slidell. Now, Slidell is not known for its culinary prowess, but Tran or whatever his name was over there at Saigon knew his shit. Why am I talking about Saigon Noodle Shop in a review for Pho Bistro, you ask? Because I noticed on a recent trip to the 'Dell that the damn place was closed down and that the new and shiny Pho Bistro had started up just down the street in a strip mall. I was NOT pleased, and neither were my faithful noodle-bowl-slurping young-ins. Then, on another trip we decided to break down and give this usurper a try... The atmosphere was wonderful- clean, bright, and comfortable. It was cozy and friendly. Compared to Saigon, which felt like you were hanging out in Tran's condemned trailer house, this was a big deal. The service was fast and friendly- the waitress who served us was funny and sweet too. The kids were stoked that there were flatscreen tvs with football on, and I was stoked because at Saigon, all you got to see was this weird as shit Vietnam travel propaganda video that looped incessantly and which had the most horrible Yoko Ono-sounding music I had ever heard. Anyway, we all got bubble teas, which were mega yum, of course. We split the three giant spring rolls, which were divine and served with peanut sauce that had already been blessed with a kiss of sriracha (WIN). Our noodle bowls were absolutely huge. My youngest and I both got soups with beef in it, and it was perfect: thinly-sliced, rare, and copious in portion. I had to ask for more bean sprouts, but they came quickly and with a smile. My other son had some sort of fried rice that he wouldn't finish; that was a first for him (the kid is a pig)! DELICIOUS! If you're in Slidell, you need to hit this place up.

Everything was good, you just don't get much. Don't ask for extras because you'll get charged for it weather you get it or not. I am glad I tried this place coming from the west side of the parish. I just rather go a little further across the twin span into New Orleans East to get more for my money.

Visited Pho Bistro for the first time today and I plan to go back weekly whenever I can. I live in Bogalusa and I will not mind the drive at all because the food was exceptionally good. The service was friendly and fast and the Bun Bo Hue came out piping hot accompanied by a very fresh set of condiments, which were also plentiful so I never ran out of anything.

we have been here to eat a few times in the past. We were pleased. Can't remember what we had I know I had bubble tea. I'm thinking next time I'm in town I'll just get some bubble tea. Been craving some for a long time. This is only the second Vet restraint I have ever been to the other was a Buffett in Gulfport and I liked it too. So I'm not an expert .

I really enjoy the food here. I get the #10 pho, which has the round eye, brisket, meatballs, tendon and tripe. It is really good and I recommend it even if not that adventurous. The best part is the broth. The food gets five stars, nut I gave it four because sometimes they close with no advance notice.

What do you get when you combine used golden Chinese restaurant entrance post lions and a rural L-shaped strip mall vibe? Pho Bistro! Ever since my wife introduced me to Kim Son on the Westbank, I've been in love with Vietnamese food. And ever since Saigon Noodle met its unfortunate demise, we've craved local Pho and all the grand accompaniments. Well, now we have them! I've eaten here many times and it is always good. Recently, I've especially liked the Com Suon Nuong Trung Cha Gio (grilled pork chop with fried egg and steamed rice) The chop is served perfectly cooked and mixing the warm egg yolk and rice into each other as a chaser makes every bite count. All of the Pho dishes are fresh and inviting and as is typical of most Vietnamese places, the proportions are huge. Nothing says yum quite like a warm bowl of Pho Nam Bo Vien particularly on days when the icy wet cold winds come shooting up from the Ponchartrain. The Bubble Tea drinks are fantastic. My personal favorite is the coconut. No one can come within three feet of me when I have one or they may lose a limb. Be sure you remember that the tapioca balls are in there though, or you may wind up gagging like a just groomed feline. The service can be up and down, but nothing disturbing. Lately, they have stepped that up by having a very friendly young lady working the floor. Even when I've had slow service it has always been courteous. The decor is leftover from the previous Chinese food occupants and only adds to the funky strip-mallness of the place. To change it would be to lose something I think. Part of some restaurant's sweetness is the funky way that things seem out of place. I like the fact that sometimes I feel as though I've been transported into an old A&G Cafeteria from mid 1970's Metairie until the freshness of cilantro leaf hits my palate and reminds me of where I truly am. Hail Pho Bistro! I pray you do well for years to come.

The guy was nice and friendly. The service was prompt. The place was clean and roomy. The food was edible, not bad but not great. The broth for pho was good, but stay away bun bo que (it was very bland and without huyet). The special spring rolls were...well special...it had shrimp and chinese sausage (very odd), still edible though. It's a good quick pho-fix.

I found Pho Bistro after taking the Cajun Encounters swamp tour which was nearby. Parking is private so no worries and they offer Chinese food to. I ordered the beef and meatball Pho which was legit. I'm from So Cal so I've tasted my share of Pho and Pho Bistro was solid. The condiments size was generously fresh, broth was yummy and the quantify of meat was generous. Service here was decent and straight to the point. If you're in the area and in need of a Pho fixing - Pho Bistro won't disappoint.

We have been to Pho Bistro twice now and have enjoyed it each time! I have tried the chicken and beef pho and both were great! They give you a lot of condiments on the side so you can really make it your own. My husband tried a rice and a noodle dish and loved them both. I enjoyed the coconut bubble tea, but he didn't. We also got the spring rolls once and the eggrolls the second time we went. Both are excellent! If you are looking for something new to try I recommend this place!

I've only been here a handful of times, actually less (like 2), but it has yet to disappoint me. Their bun and pho is good as well as some of the rice dishes. I don't live in Slidell, but I'm pretty happy there is an awesome Viet stop close to where my Mom resides. I definitely can't say it rivals any wank Viet but for being outside of NOLA, this place is pretty awesome. Service is great, food is tasty and reasonable... if you have issues with this spot, question yourself and not the restaurant.

Loved the food! The place is very casual and clean. Went there for dinner with my husband. We both got two different kind of rolls and two bowls of pho. The rolls were pretty big and each portion came with 3 rolls, very yummy and very filling. The total was around 30 dollars + tip. I must say, it was a nice surprise and we will go back for sure.
