My colleague and I were at an event and got to sample some of Peck's fish and shrimp. It was so good that we decided to go there for lunch! Right off of Gause Blvd. it's a small little place next to a gas station. When you get in though, it smells WONDERUL. Fresh boiled seafood, fried seafood, and daily lunch specials that you'll have enough to save the other half for dinner. The girls at the counter were really nice and helped us choose what to get - we went with the Fried Oyster Salad and the Red Beans and Rice lunch special. Y'all. When I tell you this was enough food for 3 people easily, maybe 4, I'm not lying. The red beans and rice with hot sausage (their specialty) came in a huge plate with a side salad, French bread, and a drink for $9. WHOA. AND it was red beans in the Al Copeland style which you've got to love, along with their hot sausage which tastes like smoked sausage with the texture of a breakfast patty. YUM! Add in the side salad with their homemade remoulade and it's the perfect lunch and dinner leftover. My colleagues Fried Oyster salad was bigger than my head and topped with 20+ oysters. Priced at around $13, it was a steal! This is definitely a great place for a quick seafood lunch or a take out dinner in the Slidell area. Check them out!

Super delicious Cheese Fries with "gravy" and dressing - WOW! I had the Shrimp PoBoy and it was very large which meant that I had a hard time finishing the sandwich. I'm a 200lbs man 6 ft tall so make sure that you bring an appetite. the flavors are delicious and I recommend stopping by.

Shrimp Po'boy was very good with generous portions of good sized shrimp. I was very happy with my food. The staff great, service good, building clean. It smelled very good inside. If you like this type of food and are in Slidell give them a try.

You want the best boiled or fried seafood here is your place. We crave it. Love their grilled shrimp wrap for when I'm trying to be "good" and sweet potato fries. Matt and Michelle are just great people and their Boiling is on point!! Please please raw oysters soon????

Everything about this restaurant was amazing from the food, atmosphere and mostly the people who work there! Thanks for such a great experience !!

Good crawfish. But the shrimp poboy was just NOT worth it. Way too much batter on the shrimp. Plus it was a little burn tasting.

Service is good, and food is great! Poboys are overstuffed as well as their seafood platters. Not enough time to talk about the boiled stuff! Yum, Love this place.

Delicious crawfish and over-stuffed poboys...would like a little more spice in the batter.

I love the seafood here. I had fish and shrimp. The boiled seafood is great as well. I ordered lunch for some of my guys and holy cow I did not expect the bill I had. 2 poor boys and 4 seafood plates were 105.00 dollars. You do get a lot of food but I thought it was pricey.

Peck's is a very casual seafood restaurant in Slidell and it's really good. When you come in you just walk up to the counter and place your order. Then seat yourself wherever you'd like and when your order is ready they'll bring it out to you. I always order the fried shrimp platter here and it is great. It's also huge. It's definitely enough for two people, so if you are dining with someone who'd like the same thing you only need to order one. I do think it's a little on the expensive side for the type of restaurant it is. It's got more of a fast food type of feel, but the food is not priced like fast food. Overall, it's definitely worth a try if you're in the mood for seafood.

3 day stay in New Orleans, was so excited about trying crawfish. Got here and found out it wasn't crawfish season :( just when we were heading back to Atlanta, found this gem on yelp.... Called and they had what?! Crawfish!!!! Was amazing... Just had a pound of crawfish!! Ohh!! What a happy ending .

Really good food. More of a half service kind of place. You order at a counter but then they bring you your food. The staff was nice and the food was pretty good. All in all, a pretty good place. The hush puppies were my favorite part.

Great food, great prices. One of the best restaurants I've been to in the Louisiana area.

french fry po-boy was so so. enjoyed hot sausage po-boy. shrimp po-boy is always a go to favorite - plenty of shrimp and flavor.

This place says they have boiled seafood, but they only had shrimp, and had crabs and other things on the menu, but they were out of everything. The worker said they never sold dungeon as crabs but they were on both menus, and she stated they were updated. They also didn't have the fried gator bites, but they were also on the menu. The fried platters are okay, you get enough for 3 people on the big platter. Boiled shrimp are good but overpriced. You have to order at counter and they don't like to bring you things when u need them. It is not a place I would go again to have a nice relaxing family dinner.

Was recommended to Peck's and ordered a couple lbs of the crawfish and shrimp, with some potatoes and corn on the side. Was really looking forward to eating, except everything was cold and looked like they've been sitting out for a while... the flavor was good though, but I imagine it would've been better had they all come out fresh and hot.

Good food, decent prices and huge portions make this a place worth your while. Also, if you're a fan of swamp people, one of the guys from the show is a regular there and you might run in to him.

Visiting my aunt who likes to come here and order to go. You walk in, order at the counter and sit and have your food delivered. We arrived a little late (I think they close at 9 and we got there at 8) and they were out of boiled crawfish and a coupla other things so I ordered the fried catfish. The catfish came and I didn't think I would be able to eat all of it. It was delicious and I ate every bit of it. Crunchy outside and perfectly done on the inside. I have never eaten catfish this yummy and I will forever measure all future fried catfish by this experience. Otherwise, the restaurant is not fancy and the ambiance is kind of corny, but the kitchen is apparently serious about its food. I would return every time I visit.

This is like a fast-food version of Southside. You order at the counter and they bring the food to you. Prices are a little more expensive than Southside, but some of the plates are HUGE! Overall, not bad. The Tuna wrap is pretty good, but you still can't beat the shrimp/oyster po-boy at Southside. I saw someone had the shrimp salad..it looked delicious!! If we're on that side of town, we'll definitely try it again!

No complaints, friendly staff, good food fairly priced. We got the fried oysters, fried shrimp and catfish platter and couple pounds of boiled shrimp, good size and balance flavor. Yes, I will go back, they also have daily specials.
(3)Cheryl L.
I have eaten here several times because it is a good place to eat boiled seafood. The food that I've eaten here is good. Would give it more stars if it was set up better. It has a fast restaurant feel to it and I loathe eating inside of fast food restaurants. The food is good though, so from now on I will probably only order to go from here.

Good quality seafood....more like a fast-food restaurant. ENORMOUS portions. I was actually really hungry when I ordered but couldn't make it halfway through my oyster/shrimp platter. Friendly service and free refills with 3 flat screens to catch a game

Sky high prices. At the time I write this, shrimp here are 11.99 per lb boiled. They're 6.99 per lb on Jeff Hwy, where I work. The food is pretty good but the selection of boiled food is limited. Pretty much just shrimp and crawfish. The salad dressings are dreadful. The fried stuff is o.k.
(3)Megan K.
It's okay. Very fast food-esque in decor, menu, and taste. And the floor was super sticky.... I mean, what's up with that?? I had the cold pasta salad with shrimp which came in a monstrous-sized portion (which goes along with my philosophy that the larger the portion size is the less the quality is) but tasted alright. I'd go back if I was looking for fast food in a hurry but not if I was in search of really great seafood!

I'm not really understanding how this place has such low ratings. It is great! While the fried alligator and fried catfish was good, it was the boiled shrimp that blew me away. It was the best shrimp I have ever had. I only wish the crawfish was in season.

I think some of these reviews were before they moved to the current location. The food is excellent and lots of it. Like anywhere, there may be some things on the menu better than others. The fried seafood is very good. Salads also... Tuna, not so much...
(5)Michelle P.
Best Seafood place in Slidell!!! The new Restaurant has many more items to pick from!! You must try this place!
(5)Marie H.
Very tasty food in casual seafood atmosphere. Seafood is very fresh. Lots of huge fried platters. Also boiled shrimp w heads on, crawfish, dungeness crab. Really fresh. Try the lobster corn bisque. Hushpuppies also good Inexpensive. Very popular w locals buying large carry out orders. Will definitely go back on any future trip through the area. Found it by accident. Couldn't get into Copland's (pretty fancy and pricey looking) nor Speckled Ts (noisy) on busy saturday night.

You gotta come home to Louisiana for great seafood! Ive only been home for 3 days, and already ate here twice. The poboys are definitely overstuffed, I couldn't even eat half of my 6inch oyster, and the crawfish are amazing. I only got 2 pounds as a side of my poboy the first day, but Mom and I went again tonight and ended up with 10pounds of those big bad boys and a sack of potatoes. Completely amazing! My lips burned with desire from sucking about 12-dozen heads and I had to unbutton my pants prior to leaving the table. Nothing better than hot crawfish and a cold beer. Looking forward to the shirts coming in so I can advertise back in Houston!
(5)Lexi K.
The food is plentiful and good. The staff is always friendly and greet you with the same warmth every time I'm there. It is impossible to leave here hungry unless you didn't order anything and it's always clean (yes, even the restrooms).

Was hoping for better. Had the shrimp po boy and a shrimp plate. The shrimp were tasty , but the breading/crust was bland and the shrimp tough. This would have been great if served away from shrimp heaven, but I was expected more in La. Their French fries were really good and had a nice spice. They had some good looking boiled crawfish that looked great and what looked like fresh raw shrimp to take out by the pound. This is only a take out place, there was no dining area.
