Soo awsome the chef recommended a diablo roll and it was Soo good. Smokey sweet and spicy. I usually don't get the crunchy fried stuff but it was tastey and I'll Def get it again.my wife loves this place too. She had weight loss surgery so she never gets to enjoy specialty rolls. This place will make a roll with no rice and remove crunchy parts on the roll. This was the only place from Mississippi to Florida that took the time to actually customize a roll so that she could enjoy it despite her dietary needs. Good job Phillip. Amber was very friendly and did an amazing job. Will Def be back

Hands down, the best sushi I've ever eaten. And the consistency is unreal. Every time is like the first time, it's always delicious. The environment is great. The people are very friendly and go out of their way to guarantee you enjoy your visit to Koi's.

I love this place. Can't go wrong with the spartan roll and the confuscious roll! Michelle was a great waitress. She was so happy and helpful.

One of the best places to eat in Slidell. If you're a fan of Asian cuisine, this place is for you. It just recently opened, so expect the service to be a little slow. The food, however, will certainly make-up for it. Everything on the menu is good. We enjoy the rainbow roll, tuna spring rolls, sushi poppers, and noodle soup. Good, clean atmosphere and the occasional live band. We haven't seen the band yet, but I hear they're pretty good. I'll write about that when I see it. Enjoy!

The Sushi is SPECTACULAR!!!! I had The Who Dat Roll and The Honeybee Roll and I highly recommend it. The staff is great and very attentive. The atmosphere is fun. They had a live Acoustic band (The Soul Acoustic) that just added to the great time. Phil ( the owner) is great and always around to handle any question. Mike behind the bar is a kick! I cannot wait to get back to this place. It's more than sushi, the fusion is awesome. It's hip, fun, and delicious. Give it a try and you won't be disappointed!

Disgusting. I don't think they know the definition of real Japanese rolls. It took an hour for them to make a crunchy roll. Spicy mayo tasted so sour. Not a place if you're a fan of sushi. Service was horrible. I had to hand my check to the waitress, because she was talking to the hostess. I had to drink water to wash out the horrible taste. NEVER AGAIN. I've been to many sushi restaurants(mostly around the New Orleans area), but I am so disappointed. I spent 30 on a bowl of soup and 2 simple rolls. Left with a bad taste in my mouth. DO NOT COME IF YOU LIKE SUSHI.

Best sushi in Slidell, hands down. Fantastic Chinese food as well. I always recommend this place to friends and family visiting Slidell. Phil runs a great restaurant.

The first time that we ate here the service was awesome and so was the sushi. The tong cho chicken wasn't all that great though. It wasnt fresh at all. The second time we ate here the service was awful and the waitress tried charge us full price for our food though it was happy hour and all items less than $6 are half price. I'd eat here again because the sushi is yummy but I'll make sure to go back when the friendly waitress is working.

Sushi was good, can't complain about taste. I was appalled however by the lack of cleanliness throughout the restaurant including the restroom. These sort of details are crucial around raw fish.

Great food! Great service!! I highly recommend the Targaryen & the Hornet Rolls! Those are amazing! It's a little pricey, but cheap sushi is questionable. So all in all I give this place a 5 out of 5!

The bartender makes a mean long island ice tea, but the food was less than expected. I wasnt a fan of the fact that you could only get whatever kind of rice they were offering for the day with the Chinese plates because not everyone is a fan of shrimp fried rice or crawfish fried rice. The cho chos werent the best but they werent the worst I have had either. My tso cho chicken was pretty good; however, my girlfriend's sweet and sour was a bust. This place is a cool place to have drinks and although I didnt try their sushi it did look very good.

We were so pleasantly surprised on just how good the food was! I ordered the California roll and a crunchy roll. Both were very good. Hubby ordered the chicken stir fry which he enjoyed but the star of the show was the spicy-sweet chicken wings. They were phenomenal! They arrived at the table piping hot, slathered with spicy/sweet sauce and the wings themselves were a good size. I would go back just for that alone but lucky the sushi is aweome too. If you are southeast La. It is worth a drive to eat here. Delicious!

I have been to Koi's Asian Cuisine so many times I can't count. I always sit at the Sushi Bar with my family and friends. Phil, the owner and a Master Sushi Chef, as far as I am concerned, creates the tastiest and most beautiful sushi I have ever consumed in my life. Believe me, I have eaten at dozens of sushi restaurants but nothing compares. So do yourself a favor, if you want sushi, and you are in the Slidell area, go to Koi's. You will be writing me a thank you for the recommendation. I live in Ponchatoula and I drive to Koi's. Once you find perfection, you can't settle for less. Thanks Phil for the great dining experiences. I loved that "Buddah's Belly" Roll the other night and the " Assassin Roll was to die for.

My sons are probably the pickiest eaters on the planet, and they both cleaned their plates. Our server pulled out "training wheels" for my toddler's chopsticks and was very attentive. The sushi was the best I've had in town - and my picky eaters each had a couple of pieces and liked it. (We had the hornet roll.) The atmosphere is very relaxed and I didn't feel like all eyes were on my messy two-year-old. My older one loved the playlist and actually ate all of his veggies. We will definitely be back.

My fiance and I stopped here on our way to baton rouge. I am SO sad we don't have one of these in Miami. The sushi was SO good. If im ever in town again, I will be stopping here

Great food, great atmosphere, great service and friendly staff. The 2 things I always look for in a restaurant is consistency and cleanliness, 5 stars on both. I've enjoyed their food for 2 years and have yet to have a dish that wasn't delicious. Don't waste your time anywhere else

Wow, just when I thought Slidell didn't have a hip spot to eat that has great food, I found Koi's. The atmosphere is great, the servers were very attentive (and cute!) and knowledgable regarding the menu. The wife and I started off with a cucumber salad, which she usually wouldn't eat but she sure tore this one up. We had the zesty bayou (which was incredible), the baked salmon (loaded with snow crab and cooked to perfection), and cream cheese/crab puffs (which may now be my favorite thing I'm the world). If I'm ever even as close as New Orleans, I will take the trip to Koi's. If 45 minutes is the only thing separating you from food this good, you'd be a fool not to go!
