We have been coming here monthly for a year now. Never disappointed. We travel from Gulfport MS 45 minutes away yes it is that good. We get lobster that they steam for you. You have to bring the crackers. The have crawfish and shrimp today I have had there poboys they were good my family had crawfish. Was good but little to much breading. Wiil continue to have lunch at least monthly. Highly recommend.

Best seafood in Slidell hands down! Been coming here since before Katrina (2005) and they are always fresh and consistent! Boiled crabs are amazing as well as their Dungeness crab! Crawfish are always great! Shrimp too! Always come here for any of my seafood needs, boiled, fresh, or live! Amazing customer service! Prices are reasonable as well! Their corn and crab bisque is soooo yummy! Stuffed artichokes too! Love Kenny's Seafood!

We had the corn & crab bisque and shrimp po- boys. They were awesome!! So much shrimp they fell off the bread and you could make another sandwich. It was great. Will definitely be going here again!!! Enjoy!!!!

The crawfish was cold and super spicy. Not the best in town by far. However it was a good amount of food for the price we paid.

Boiled shrimp for Christmas were spectacular. A little on the spicy side which I prefer. Very good size. I highly recommend.

Ok so stopped here on way to Nola from yelp reviews and was just ok. We ordered a large oyster poboy and a large crawfish one too. The oyster one wasnt anything special as oysters were small and lots of crunch. However the crawfish tail one was pretty good and bread was fine tho and the fries were ok.

Their boiled crawfish is alright. It's not the best in town but they have pretty good sized shrimp there. The artichoke hearts are about $8 but are great for party appetizers for a party!!!

I was so impressed with their food and service I just had to write this review. I was surprised that one didn't already exist. The words amazing, delicious, fresh, and fast comes to mind when I think of Kenny's Seafood. I'm new to the Slidell area, so when I started asking around "where is the best place to go for Seafood?" and everyone told me (without hesitation) go to Kenny's, I knew this place had to be someplace worth checking out. On arrival I noticed a life-size stuffed dummy with a bucket over it's head standing in front of the entrance...not sure what that's all about, a little quirky...yes, but in a good way...a sense of humor is always a plus in my book. Also, above the entryway is a huge sign with a fake 300 lb yellow fin tuna & neon lighting that reads Kenny's Seafood...let's you know you've come to the right place. And if that's not enough...there's the magical aroma of fried seafood that beacons you to come inside...I could hear it calling my name! Inside...above the service counter is a huge hand-written menu (old-school chalkboard style). The menu is simple and straightforward...Seafood Dinners on one half & Po-Boys on the other. All the employees there were hard at work and seemed to be working in harmony with each other. I did not see anyone goofing-off or slacking by any means. They were all doing their job...and doing it amazingly well on this day...Super Bowl Sunday during lunch hour. I ordered the Seafood Platter with a side of potato salad and corn & crab bisque (to-go). The platter consisted of deep fried soft shell crab, catfish, shrimp, oysters, and a crawfish hush puppy that tasted amazing...all for about 15 bucks! The breading and seasoning was perfectly done...not too heavy...just enough to enhance the freshness of the seafood, not overpower it. The strips of catfish was thick, moist, and perfectly cooked, the oyster tasted like they were just shucked before hitting the batter & hot oil, the shrimp was medium size which is good, and the soft shell crab couldn't have tasted any fresher. The potato salad was one of the best I've ever tasted, and the corn & crab bisque was pretty remarkable as well...full of tender crab and well balanced in flavor. However, I do have 1 tiny gripe...I was a little disappointed when I got home...opened my food container and realized there was no cocktail or tarter sauce included. But I decided to give this review a 5 star rating anyway because of the quantity, quality, price, taste, and my overall experience. I definitely recommend you try this place. It will not disappoint!...just make sure you ask for cocktail and/or tarter sauce with your to-go order.

By far the best seafood market around. The prices are always at market price and the seafood is always fresh. I have been going here for two years and have Never been dissatisfied. They also have a section that you can order po-boys and dinner plates to go or eat them there.

We did the swamp tour nearby and our boat captain recommended this place for crawfish. We were so glad he did. The crawfish were great and so was everything else we got. Everything tasted homemade and delicious. We ordered 3 different po boys (catfish, roast beef, shrimp) and they were super! We also really liked the side orders we chose: homemade potato salad, jambalaya, gumbo and fries. One of our best meals since visiting the NOLA area. Prices were great too.

My husband and I were looking for a place to purchase boiled crawfish in Slidell, because we are new residents. Kenny's was highly recommended. We went on a Saturday, with a few friends, around lunch time thinking the crawfish would be hot and fresh. We were sadly disappointed initially by how dirty the crawfish were after being boiled. We still wanted to taste them so we purchased 3 lbs. The service was very friendly and polite. However when we started eating the crawfish they were cold, dirty on both the outside and the inside, and bland. I love to suck juice and eat the fat inside the heads and that was impossible with these because the amount dirt. We actually threw away the majority of them. Hopefully the people at Kenny's read this and learn to put more effort in cleaning and preserving the freshness of their product.

For the price and the flavor you cant beat this place. I came here twice within 4 hrs and I couldnt even check in with yelp! The cravings were that good. First round I had the fried combo of oysters and crawfish with boudain balls amd coleslaw. Now I had a slight disappointment as the center of my balls were cold and no one likes cold balls lol BUT a kind fellow patron offered me a crawfish. OmGeeee!! I had to return to order some for myself for dinner!! The flavor was all the way there perfectly seasoned and not too spicy and to top it all off I ordered 3lbs for under $10! Pure crawfish too not weighed down by corn and potatoes. And did I mention the size of those things!? They were all huge! A great evening feast. They even allow byob so I brought in the chill bottle of sauvignon blanc and decided to eat inside. Very good!!

Best new orleans food place. Had several soft shell crab. This place make it best. Highly recommended. Shrimp head is red before cooked. Meaning its fresh.

If I could give them 0 stars I would. I spent $341 and bought some shrimp and crawfish back home about 7 hours got home and they forgot my shrimp, I call Neal and he stated they would make it right. The next time I came back to Slidell to pick up my shrimp and to get more. Neal told me the owner told him I needed my receipt or something that showed I paid that much. I showed him my receipt from the bank. He then called the owner back and he stated that the owner said that he could not do anything with out a receipt. So, If I bring back my receipt it would be something else. I asked that the owner call me, I still have yet to get that phone call. Needless to say I was "hot" I will NEVER do business with this company ever again. I did however go to another seafood company (Slidell seafood) and told them about what happened at Kenny's and was told by another guest that it had happened before. The other company really did me right, I now have a new company that I'm happy to deal with.
