Wow, it's like myself and those other reviewers are talking about two totally different places. I just moved to this city, and have eaten at Pieworks no less than three times. And every time, the food was consistent and delicious. As a vegetarian, I love the veggie options on the pizza menu. It's nice not to just eat a pizza full of onions every now and then, and even nicer to stray from the traditional vegetables you get at chain pizza joints. The service every time has been nothing but nice, accommodating, and eager. To those complaining about the price of the food, if you want fresh quality products it costs more. You can always just go sit at the local pizza hut if you want things to be cheaper. This place offers a great quality pie crust as well. Try the dark wheat crust.. you will never find a tastier wheat crust. All in all, I'll be back. Probably not everyday, but at 9 for a filling pizza with 6 slices.. it will be frequently.

Great bread sticks. I could go just eat them. Has a good lunch menu for a smaller personal pizza. They also have a lot of toppings to pick from. I did try some of their icream last time I went and that's something to skip.

Not impressed. Food was average. Drinks stayed empty. One of our plates was undercooked. Many tables were not clean and bathrooms were filthy. Boxes in the hallway blocking rear exit. Needs a lot of attention on their Atmosphere. If the hang a sign that says under new management I may return but most likely will just pass by.

Very tasty pizza here with lots of options. We also got the breadsticks which were much larger than expected and very good. A choice of 3 dipping sauces was nice. The restaurant was clean and all the staff we encountered were all polite. It looked like about half the seats had huge tears in them and need to be replaced.

Read great things on yelp and had to stop in while road tripping down south! Split a small pizza with my boyfriend, pesto based with fresh green peppers and spinach, and crispy bacon on (my) half. It was filling and excellent. My folks got a medium garlic butter base, half hot sausage and half margarita which they really enjoyed. Very accommodating restaurant as far as splitting up toppings! And with excellent waitservice! I only wish we had a pie works in Tennessee!

Incredible pizza! Perfect combinations of fresh toppings along with some of the best pizza dough you'll ever have. The new manager (Chef) came over and spoke to us briefly. You can just tell that he ooze's with desire to turn this little known place into the best pizza spot in town.

This is what pizza was meant to be. I got eggplant parm pizza. Very good and unusual. Wonderful breadsticks. Also, they had $2 margaritas (reg, strawberry and strawberry mango). Nuff said? :)

Great tasting pizza!! I get the 5-card stud or pepperoni when I order. Both are really great tasting with lots of ingredients. Service is always on par and I've never had ask for my drink to be refilled. You should try it sometime.

This is the best pizza I have found in town. Service has always been very good. They have a few of the local beers. If you like a good pizza this is the place. If not I can point you in all kinds of directions. This town is full of bad pizza.

I have high standards for pizza and this is your best bet in Shreveport, but still a maybe three star place tops. Had a much better experience dining in and they have some good beer on tap. Take out experience was disappointing and they messed up two of the three pies.

I'm just not a fan and have had pieworks a few times. I want to bump it up to a three, but would I go back? Probably not. I find the food uninteresting, despite the attempts at straying away from a more traditional pizza. That being said, I still appreciate that it adds a bit of variety to the town. I've also found that the servers are highly inexperienced. (Although nice) Our server kept forgetting what we ordered and in the end ordered me the wrong item even though she had asked me twice. When we told her that it was the wrong item, she did nothing to rectify the problem and charged for the higher priced item as well. The place can be quite short handed. In summary, it isn't my cup of tea, but I can see how it might be a fun place.

I think there pizzas are really good. The service was busy the few times we went in so I didn't expect someone every 5 mins to come to our table outside plus iI hate that.... We ordered a salad and shared it while we waited for our pizza. No complaints on the food. If you want something different and sick of papa johns and dominos check this place out...
