My 3 year old daughter and I have breakfast here every Saturday morning. The food is good and the staff treats us like family. I recommend the Eggs Toula. It's like a Benedict, but the egg is fried instead of poached and it's on top of one of their awesome biscuits instead of an English muffin. I love it!

Love this little corner spot! The staff is always nice. The few times I've been here the food has always been good. The only complaint is I always run out of my drink and Have to flag them down or go up to the counter to get some more. I. All not a big deal to me I like this little spot. I got the tuna melt with chips and my boyfriend got a turkey panini with fries and a cup of soup .

Stopped in for cappuccino with my son and his girlfriend. We decided to try the stuffed beignets and got three different flavors. They were tasty but were heavier than beignets I have eaten before. They had more of a canned bisquit consistency and flavor but were fresh with tasty fillings. Service was quick and friendly and the atmosphere was old town charm. I haven't been in that cafe in a few years until this recent visit but definitely plan to return as their salad and sandwich selections were tempting.

Love this small cafe. Captured the little town. Located in an old drug store now turned into a cafe. Friendly servers. Take my spouse there to have a breakfast date. Pleasant atmosphere.

On a recent trip to Ponchatoula we decided to have lunch at the Corner Cafe. It is conveniently located near the town alligator and there is a decent amount of free parking nearby. The restaurant serves specialty coffee, breakfast and sandwiches. Since it was lunch time, we ordered a french dip, club sandwich and a kids salad bar. The salad bar was small, but the items seemed fresh. The french dip was standard and came with a large bowl of au jus. The club was ok, but not great. It consisted of roast beef and ham, but the meats seemed too thickly sliced for my taste. The potato salad that came with the sandwich was very good. When I asked for fries a side, I was told they didn't carry fries. I found this odd since they had a french fry po-boy on the menu, but I didn't ask for further explanation. Service was great and our server was very friendly. I would go back if I was in Ponchatoula, but I would probably not get the club.

While puttering around Ponchatoula this afternoon, we stopped into the cafe for lunch. Since it was such a beautiful day, we sat outside and people-watched. I ordered a roast beef po boy and the girly ordered some green-something wrap with pecans and chicken and some other weird fru-fru stuff. I really wanted fries but they only offered potato salad or chips. SO we both got potato salads. I have to give the po boy 3 stars. It was ok, but waaay under-stuffed for someone spoiled by NOLA's beautifully stuffed po boys. I tried the girly's wrap and it was...interesting. I didn't hate it, but it was strange. But being strange, she enjoyed it. We both thought the potato salad was ok. A little mustardy and in need of spice but not too bad really. All in all, it was enjoyable enough. If I happened to be in Ponchatoula and was hungry...and there was no new place to try, I'd eat there again.

I visited this place for the first time today. I had the soup/sandwich combo for lunch. The corn and shrimp stew is awesome. It's not available every day, so today was my lucky day. I also had a ham/cheese croissant, which was good, but had very little ham on it. The beignets are very good. Overall, pretty good food. I'll be visiting again.
