They have the best Sushi. The restaurant is clean and the servers are so sweet and helpful. I personally love the Melrose Roll as well as the Steak and Scallop entrée.

Heard many good things about the steak and sushi bar so my wife wanted to go for her birthday. At 6:30 on a Wednesday evening we show up and get a seat right away. Excellent so far. Waitress comes over and takes out drink order. So far so good but down hill from here. She can barely speak English and my wife tells her that we have never been to eat here before and asks what is good she doesn't know what to say...wow. Salad before the meal is a joke. My order came out before my wife's and drink refills took forever. Needless to say this for me was a crash and burn experience. My dinner was good but the fried rice was awful. I won't be back

What a pleasant find in Pineville, La. The main reason I stopped here was because of a place (now closed) with the same name in Monroe, La. Although the lady said they weren't connected alot of the decor is similar to the place in Monroe. Either way the food is just as good. The under control sushi roll is just out of this world. Some of the best I've ever had. The tempura is also very good. Great food, service and okay prices l'll be back

Came highly reviewed from friends but a bit bruised by my recent visit. Largely a great visit but two noteworthy things 1) The yellowfin the day I went was sub-par. I've eaten enough sushi around the world to know the difference. 2) staff not educated. couldn't tell me if I was getting fake or real wasabi (look it up, you've probably never actually had REAL wasabi). Still I did enjoy myself that visit, everything else was very good and seemed fresh. worth a visit

Great sushi, friendly service. We eat here maybe once a month or so and the staff always remember us and are very friendly. Food is great, plenty of options, even lots for "sushi novices". Try the "Da Roll" or "Ting Ting". Both very good. They will also make custom rolls if you want so ring special or check the board as you come in for recent rolls others have made up.

Over all I enjoyed this place. I have had an ample sampling of sushi places over the years and considering the location I'm glad to of found it. I have had better but the service was pleasant and sushi was fresh. I did think the prices were a little high for what you get but I will visit this place again. So long and thanks for all the fish!

Out of all of the sushi restaurants in the Alexandria/Pineville area, this is definitely my favorite. I have had better sushi in larger cities, but for a small town it's not bad at all!

Mikado's in Pineville is an excellent little sushi joint. My coworkers and I eat here at least once a month, and we're always pleased with the food and the service. The sushi is great here, and it's cool that they have box lunches too for people who aren't into sushi or sashimi. They have a great selection of special rolls, and they also have the classics such as California, spicy tuna, and Philadelphia. The presentation is pretty good too. I also like the prices here; it's a bit cheaper than Sake Sushi in downtown Alex. I would highly recommend this place to anybody looking for some good quality Japanese food at a reasonable price. The people that work here are also very friendly, which really does make a difference.

Some of the best Sushi I've ever had. If you enjoy spicy, but not too hot, try the "Dragon's Tear" roll. Delicious! Service is polite and prompt. Display is appealing to the eye. Portions are ample and priced moderately. Great dining experience.

This is my favorite place to eat in Pineville. We love the friendly staff who are more than helpful if you have any questions about the menu or ingredients. The sushi chefs definitely know what they're doing here. I try different items from the menu and I haven't had anything that I didn't like. If I were to list the favorite things I've tried, the list would be too long. My husband, however, gets the Serenity Roll every single time we come here. He swears it's the best. The atmosphere is lovely and comfortable. I certainly recommend stopping here if you are in the area. I know not all experiences are the same but I can honestly say that every visit I've had at Mikado's has been anything but disappointing.
