    Excellent food and good service Opted for the Steak Frittes... Glad I did. Very flavorful. Wife enjoyed the lamb chops but the sides (spinach and mashed potatoes) were a little bland. Used a Groupon and it was really a killer deal! Live entertainment from Erica Falls topped it off. Do this!

    The food was fantastic. The live music was very, very good. The waitstaff and bartenders were very kind. Nice layout, and darkly lit. It felt hip and trendy without being overdone. I would definitely return again, and bring others. I really enjoyed the food quite a bit. Bring a friend and check it out... It is only a few short steps from Bourbon Street, and worth the walk.

    Had a nightmare experience here last night - the absolute worst ever! For this Yelp should allow MINUS 5 stars. First off - I made an Open Table reservation through Yelp and Open Table at Bombay Club which I LOVE. But I kept getting calls "confirming" my reservation and telling me that Bombay Club had moved from Conti to Dauphine. How did they get my phone number? I never gave it to them but there is a clue in that I discovered, after my dreadful experience at this place, a confirming e-mail to Fiske on Dauphine - a restaurant that I had never heard of and never booked!!! Something clearly wrong in the IT somewhere. Anyway - so we arrive, find it weird that we don't see the Bombay Club name anywhere, nor do we like the new ambience compared to what we loved on Conti. Sat at our booth for 15 minutes (we timed exactly) and saw the maitre d', waitress and (who turned out to be) the manager pass us many times and look our way - but NOT EVEN a GLASS of WATER!!! So I went and found the manager to complain and 5 minutes later here comes that same waitress with a severe attitude problem and finally telling us to stay and she would "turn our frown upside down" - really - did she think we were second graders?? Needless to say we just walked out, with her attitude and the pathetic service I thought it more likely that anything we ordered might be messed with rather than getting an upside down frown. A completely destroyed evening since you can't get tables at the last minute in the French Quarter Saturday night during one of the many festivals. DREADFUL service and management. Make sure you go to the restaurant you reserve!! Don't be fooled like we were to sit 20 minutes for nothing and have no table for your last night in the French Quarter

    Best new off the beaten luxury place for cheap happy hour - goes til 7pm. Amazing 5 star food you'll be buzzed enough to splurge on the cost after enjoying their awesome $3 martini's - flavored ones too - at happy hour. Bar is old world southern man. Green walls, wood, class, an elegantly relaxed happy hour. High quality food worth the $ splurge.

    Sir Hubs-A-Lot and I actually stumbled upon this place when we were walking around and I am so glad we did! Fiske's has a great atmosphere and the bartenders are really helpful! What I even noticed is that if you get a dirty martini, they give you the olive brine on the side so that you can make is as tame or dirty as you want! Great idea because I hate when you get your dirty martini and it's all brine and no vodka! I ordered the sweet heat margarita and it as sooo tasty! Hubby tends to get the girly drinks (if you look at my pix, it's easy to see which are his! LOL) We meet some interesting people here, too, so all-in-all, a great time!!

    Great place to be on New Year's eve, not too far and not to close to Bourbon Street, The rack of lamb was delicious, and the service was great. In total, we enjoyed: Louisiana Crab & Roasted Creole Tomato Fondue With Manchego cheese, scallions and grilled crostini Carciofi Caesar Salad Torn Romaine lettuce with roasted artichoke hearts, fresh Parmesian, Spanish anchovies and broken crustini Coffee and Coriander Spiced Rack of Lamb New Zealand Lamb with Pinot Noir Beurre Rouge and Goat Cheese Whipped potato Bacon & Balsamic Braised Brussel Sprouts Smoked Gouda Cheese Grits Breakfast was fine, but the server was single-handed and badly backed up. Pleasant gentleman, though.

    Excellent food and great service! Ask for Kash, she's great! I would highly recommend the fish special or the steak! I also really liked the cool as a cucumber martini and the Manhattan Martini! Definitely will be back here!

    A Groupon brought us to Richard Fiske's. The atmosphere is relaxed but romantic and the music was outstanding (Big Fine Ellen). We started with the flash fried calamari and mac-n-cheese topped with fried oysters. The calamari was very good, but the mac-n-cheese topped with fried oysters was AMAZING! This appetizer alone warrants a visit to Richard Fiske's. For dinner I chose the special which was shrimp with smoked Gouda grits. The shrimp was a bit salty for me but the grits were delicious. My husband opted for the steak frites. The steak was cooked perfectly and the truffle fries were tasty.

    A local told us about this place and we decided to try it. It's about a block off Bourbon Street. It's a great place with a piano player playing wonderful New Orleans Jazz Music. It's also known for its Martinis however I'm just not a martini drinker. I ate the Chicken Saltimbocco (Richard's favorite) with Lyonnaise Fingerling Potato sautéed with wild mushrooms, prochuitto ham, sage, Marsala wine Demi, finished with butter. I can see why it's Richard's favorite because it was a wonderful dish. This is a great little place to stop by for a martini and get the New Orleans atmosphere or have dinner. It was a great choice!

    Place was cute, bartender was a nice Ukrainian girl, although I'm not sure her name. We had some great Martini's and good appetizers at the bar and some live JAZZ music which made me really happy!

    Nice bar and good bartenders haven't had dinner yet but menu looks good. Piano most nights usually not to crowded and that's to bad because it really is a nice place.

    Went here last night for a drink! Great place on a Saturday night. Glen David Andrew puts on a fantastic show. The drinks were wonderful and the service was better. We didn't eat this time, but will make it a must do next time!

    This was an incredibly disappointing experience. I wanted to try it because it was new and saw such positive reviews about it. Basically, what started off as a so-so experience devolved into an immensely negative experience, and I can say with certainty that I will not be back. For starters, we were there for Happy Hour. Their website boasts "great specials", and we wanted to get drinks/small bite since we had something late in the evening that would interfere with normal dinner time. When we were seated, I asked about the happy hour specials. The server seemed almost annoyed at my asking. This server, Ellen, seemed like she didn't really want to be there for most of the evening. We kind of had to ask a couple times what exactly the happy hour specials were before we realized that the "specials" were four $12 cocktails and one food dish. Anyway, we ordered a sazerac, a negroni and some blueberry martini. The sazerac and negroni were part of the specials. For food, we got a wedge salad, Caesar salad and some blueberry and walnut salad. Two were mediocre, but the wedge was not a wedge at all. It was covered in pickled onions that were covered in balsamic vinegar that made it incredibly too sweet to be a wedge. Also ordered was a crab meat fondue, which was pretty bland and tasted more like Velveeta than anything, and mussel fries, which consisted of some off-tasting muscles and a handful of shaved potato pieces. The happy hour dish was a red fish slider that was actually very tasty. It came out first and was responsible for the initial false positive impression. The fish and sauce were great but the bread was cold and should've been toasted at the very least. On return trip from the ladies room, I politely and discretely informed a hostess that the women's room was out of toilet paper. She never looked up from her stand the entire time I was speaking until I awkwardly paused at the end of my sentence because I wasn't sure she even heard me. But yes, she heard me and let me know with a quick "ok thanks." She made me feel a little stupid for mentioning it. When the check came, my party split it three ways. Two of us agreed to be responsible for the tip. So, my companion who was not to include tip in her bill left her signed receipt on the table (myself and the third person had signed our receipts-tip included- and tucked them into the bill holder). The server walks by and, mid-sentence, stops and says "um there's no gratuity on that." Are you kidding me? I was so intensely uncomfortable as I explained that the two of us were taking care of her (for the record, unjustly generous) tip. That said, I would discourage anyone who has high expectations for a dining experience from going. The one bright spot was a great Sazerac and the live music. Still, we can get that other places. I will not be back.

    Best Shrimp and Grits !!!! The Asian calamari was just divine, no need for the sour cream dip. Romantic and sexy New Orleans Jazz Live music. Staff was great. First time having an Absinthe Drip cocktail.....no wonder this illegal, lethal.

    Had the Eggs Benedict w Hollandaise Sauce with Pulled Pork on an English Muffin served with fluffy creamy Grits and fruit. Had with decaf coffee. Wow what a treat! Didn't expect such a delicious tasting breakfast. Just caught breakfast ending at 10:30 am. Service began slow but ended up very good, accomodating, friendly and polite.

    My boyfriend and I were somewhat skeptical when we walked in for our Christmas Eve reservation. Very dimly lit, quiet and one of the only spots in town we could get a last minute Christmas Eve dinner reservation, we wondered if there was a reason why it wasn't filled with people. Oh, are we glad we stayed. It was the best dinners I had during my 3-day holiday stay in New Orleans. The dinner and service were OUTSTANDING. Everyone we had contact with was warm and hospitable, especially our server. The fish dish that I had is no longer on the current menu and I can't remember the name other than it was a gulf fish, but it is one of the top 5 entrees I have ever had. Best part: (old lady alert) I didn't have to pay for it later. Most dishes, even at the best restaurants in New Orleans, leave me with sausage fingers about 4 hours later with the amount of hidden sodium in the delicious sauces. I'm happy to say I was not downing gallons of water after this meal. Also, best bread pudding I've ever had. I highly recommend this spot.

    Had a NYE reservation. Dual celebration for the obvious new year and my sweethearts birthday. The table was a little late being ready, we didn't mind. We were sat about 15 mins later in the private nook table. We originally thought it was pretty cool but later joked that the nooks allow them to forget about you lol. Nonetheless the short of it. Staff was kind. Food was just ok (calamari was delicious) but the scallops were really bad. But hey, drinks were GREAT. BOTTOM LINE great Martini bar. Maybe not so much for dinner. *The music was nice too.

    The service was amazing- my parents are hard of hearing and the hostess went completely out of her way to get us a quiet table. The staff was friendly and professional. Get the cheese plate- it's a wower! My husband ordered the Irish coffee, which was delicious. The live music was entertaining- a man played piano and sang. Very relaxing, sophisticated environment. Would definitely return!

    We stayed at the Chateau LeMoyne recently and thought the hotel was very good, but the main reason for this review is their fairly new restaurant, Fiske's Martini Bar & Restaurant. Apparently they don't have a website yet, but here's hoping they do soon. On previous visits to New Orleans we enjoyed dining at the old Bombay Club both for the food and the live music, and the fact that most tourists don't know where it is. So when I tried to reserve a table for our most recent visit to NOLA, I discovered the Bombay was no more. Apparently the owner of the old Bombay Club passed away, there was some fracas over what would become of the restaurant thereafter, somebody who owned the building also owned the name, there was some pissing on people's shoes, and then the whole staff of the former Bombay Club up & moved their restaurant operation to the Chateau LeMoyne, and named it after the deceased Bombay owner, Richard Fiske. That might explain why no website yet, but hey folks, we really enjoyed our dinners (very much like the Bombay Club) and also the live music from Tony Seville, so let's get that website up and start advertising! We were two of only six customers in the place that night, and you guys deserve to be doing better business than that. Oh ... and the Sazerac ... the world's first cocktail, or so they say, invented in New Orleans by a doctor, for medicinal purposes only, of course. I've forgotten the bartender's name, but she made such a good one, I ordered a second ... then crawled up to my room.

    So disappointing....which only confirms the rumors that this place is under new management/ownership....not Willie Fiske (widow of Mr. Richard Fiske). Richard and Willie were the outstanding owners and management behind the beloved Bombay Club for the past 19 years but after Richard's passing in 2013 the restaurant moved across the way to Dauphine Street and reopened paying homage to the original legend as "Richard Fiske's Restaurant and Bar." Richard's wife taking the lead to ensure nothing was lost in transition- creating the same wonderful 'quentisential' New Orleans feel we had all come to love over the years: top shelf drinks, mouth watering meals and amazing last live music. But something has changed...I stopped in for dinner last night and instead of being greeted by a warm welcoming smile I was ignored for a solid five minutes. So I went to the bar in hopes of getting faster service and to enjoy one of their famous martini's. However bad went to worst as I tried to grab the attention of the bartenders who left me feeing invisible. I finally ordered a martini and it tasted like syrup. Nothing like the fine mixologist drink experience I had 6 months ago at the same place. Finally my appetizer arrived but the calamari was cold and rubbery. The bar staff acted as if I was a bother and were down right rude. I tried to remind myself why I should not just walk out....it was me hanging on to the fond memory that I once had of this place, but it is not that place anymore. When I asked the bartender 'Is Willie Fiske around?' And they said 'who?!?' I responded 'Richard's wife..?' And the response was the nail in the coffin 'Richard who?!?' That's when I knew it had all changed...after all the restaurant is even named in Richard Fiske's honor.....sad loss once again for the city of New Orleans restaurant world. Sorry to see new management is not keeping the higher standard of quality and service that it once had.

    In shock and awe. How can you possibly have a business that takes the name of a man who meant so much to the French Quarter scene and not even mention him on the anniversary of his passing not celebrate his life. We called today to see if any events were planned. Someone who answered the phone, Palmer, not only said "no" but also seemed to not even know who Richard Fiske was. As long time patrons of his previous establishment, I can promise that we will not be calling or returning again. Shame on you. If you don't care enough to recognize the namesake of your restaurant, the very reason you are there, then the hundreds of us who would have visited will not be. Clearly the new owners must not be locals. New Orleanians don't treat each other this way. Best of luck.

    Ok so...if you want a a nice dinner in a nice atmosphere pick here. The fish is wonderful and desserts our of this world (chocolate pate) ! The chef came up to our table and he was very down to earth and sweet. If you have an opportunity to have "kash" as your waitress you will be pleased :) do yourself a favor and treat yourself, you deserve it!

    Great atmosphere, sophisticated dining, delicious assortment of martinis, great wine list, excellent food and attentive wait staff. Beautiful find just one short block off Bourbon Street. We sat side by side in a lovely semi private and intimate little booth, very romantic. The chefs filet and the scallops were excellent and the presentation was handled very well. My only complaint were being out of mussels, Grey Goose vodka and the ingredients for the violet Martini after our waitress made my mouth water for it. So, there were one or two hiccups but it was still a lovely fine dining experience.

    Im sorry, but our experience here was a big FAIL. We got reservations during jazzfest, and I was hoping for a restaurant with excellent food and service, but in this case, the food was way overpriced and the service was horrible. The host was rude (and they werent busy), and the server was bizarre, instructing us to sit at our seats while we waited for the rest of our party instead of listening to the charming pianist in the bar. His personality was cold and strange. In a town where food is everywhere, I will not be back to this one. If you like martinis, go to the bar--skip the dining.

    I purchased a $80.00 dinner for two people through groupon. The groupon was $50.00 dollars. When we purchased the groupon we had to make a actual dinner reservation, so super excited this was our one year wedding anniversary, a special event for us. Our reservation was for 7p.m, at around 4pm I decided to call and make sure everything was ok, and to ask questions about there happy hour, thought we'd have a drink at the bar before dinner. The girl Megan said she had tried to call me earlier that they no longer have a dinner menu, and that groupon had made a mistake last month when they made our reservation, she proceeded to say that they only had a bar menu that I could use the groupon for.........no apology, just blame to groupon, for making a mistake and scheduling a dinner. She said they no longer have a dinner menu that they stopped last week. When I asked about the happy hour I saw on line she proceeded to tell me that my groupon didn't include alcohol? Really ? Just thought I'd buy a drink at the bar.......worst customer service ever. She said that maybe I could call groupon and get my money back. Thank you Richard Fiske for having a lovely unprofessional staff. Never mind I spent an hour on the phone with groupon where they are just as lovely. We ended up going to BROUSSARDS which I totally recommend if I can upload my photos I will. The staff where amazing and the food was INCREDIBLE. AND MEGAN THERE WAS NO VOICEMAIL FROM YOU ON MY PHONE. Very poor customer service
