Very sweet, homey little place with some of the best pizza we've ever eaten. The crust is somewhere between a thin crust and what you think of as "hand tossed." It has a nice crispy crunch on the outside and then is soft and wonderful as you bite into it, the sauce is great, and the toppings and cheese are delicious and plentiful. We had the House Special. Nice waiter, good service, very relaxed and informal. Right on the highway between I-49 and campus. (Note - we hear this is a new location, and not all GPS's have gotten the memo. Check Google Maps. Address listed on Yelp is correct.)

Definitely don't go out of your way to stop here if you're on the road and just driving through. The pizza is underwhelming. Not bad but really not anything to write home about. It takes 20-30 minutes for a little bitty small 8in pizza. They must be baking in a regular oven.

Amazing pizza! We stopped in on our way to Dallas and so glad we did! We got Peggy's Favorite Supreme pizza and I had a garden salad. Very friendly, great homemade pizza. Obviously quality ingredients. I definitely recommend it!

It seems that I've eaten pizza all over the Midwest and South, and most pizza is generally adequate. There are times when my taste buds catch a flicker of excitement like when I had Pizza Luce's in Duluth, Davanni's in Minneapolis, Damgoode pies in the Little Rock area, and Square Pizza in a Kansas City suburb. For some reason, I'm thinking Lawrence. Nevertheless, I have always lamented to my wife that we are unable to get good pizza in the Shreveport area. They are improving as I think Rotolo's is pretty good, but I want pizza that leaves an indelible mark on my psyche. I want a pie that will brand its excellence on my mind. I think I found one of those gems in Natchitoches. I never imagined I'd find that place essentially in my backyard. The place was recently relocated to what used to be a residence. It's nothing fancy, but I'm never looking for fancy. I'm looking for food. The thin crust surprised me as there was an outer crust to hold. Apparently, they curl up the edges to make a nice handle. The toppings were of excellent quality and were in a nice ratio. Ever have the pizza with too many olives? It can have a deleterious effect on you. I was satisfied with just pizza, but the family wanted to try the cinnamon sticks. Never have I sampled such a treat. The dough is folded, so there are actual layers within the breadsticks. The outside is crunchy while the inside is toothsome. Very satisfying as you dip them into the icing. I tend to be critical of the food I eat, whether it's at a restaurant or if I beat myself up the rest of the night because I get distracted and cook my steak medium rare instead of rare. (That really raises my hackles.) Peggy's is easily one of my top 10 favorite pizza restaurants. We are still in town, so we might swing back for some more cinnamon sticks.

This is kind of our regular spot in town. I love it's mom and pop feel. They are super accommodating to us. They leave the cheese off our pizza and add extra marinara to help us create our makeshift vegan pizza. The also let us sub different toppings in their specialty pizzas. I find the meat eaters and non-meat eaters a like can all agree that Momma's Favorite is the bomb. If you like artichokes, get it! This is probably your best pizza options in Natchitoches.

Peggy's is run by the same people who previously operated Beaudion's Pizza. It's still the best pizza in Natchitoches and worth the drive if they're too busy to deliver. Well worth the price. Ask for your pizza to be cut into squares.

We loved Peggy's. The crust is perfect (I know that's relative.) It was crisp on the outside, soft on the inside. The ingredients were good (the spinach wasn't fresh, it was either frozen or canned and squeezed dry.) They didn't skimp on the toppings, there were plenty. They aren't fast, so plan to stay and visit, it's worth the wait. The drinks are self serve, the cups are small so we spent a lot of time refilling our drinks. Plenty of parking. We are looking forward to trying some of the other dishes.
