I was a little disappointed with the rolls. I found the dragon roll too mushy. It lacked that crispy crunchy taste. The eel roll feared no better.

Had the wonderful opportunity to share Sushi at the newest place in town. We started with the Salmon Tartar appetizer ($7.50). Excellent. Followed that with the three roll lunch special ($11.95) where we chose the Philadelphia Roll, the Crunch Roll, and the Rock 'n Roll. The eel sauce used with the Salmon and the Rock is the supporting actor that allowed the star to shine. These two items filled two of us due to their good portion size. Even after that, I know we couldn't get out without trying their Four High Carrot Cake ($7.95). Another winner. It was fresh and made in house and the portion size was another share. The staff was always friendly and helpful (our waitperson was a little slow, but I believe she was starting to learn the ropes and should do well). After our lunch, we stopped into the grill section of the house and watched one of the culinary artists they have working the grill put on quite a show. Plan on going back again today to try that out.

The sashimi we had was okay, but the tuna tartar was terrible. Our server was not the least bit proficient, I had to explain my order to her... Sushi vs. Sashimi. It's a sushi place, right? Not much in the area, so if you're hungry and this is it, go for it. Just manage your expectations.

The habatchi is popular, but consider the menu items too. The filet mignon is wonderful. The onion rings are light & crispy and the baked potatoes are good. Get the carrot cake to go, you'll eat on it for days. It's divine.

We had a great time eating here on the hibachi side of this establishment. Grill chef was very entertaining and the food was wonderfully hot and flavorful. We also ordered the spicey shrimp roll and were very pleased with the fresh tastiness. The cost is very reasonable for a family and the kids will enjoy watching the chef.

The sushi was great, the restaurant is beautiful. The cold sake (Fiji Apple) was great. Me and my wife ordered 4 different rolls and loved each, the lsu roll was our favorite. I will definitely be returning and would recommend Hana to anyone.

This is not the place to go for sushi. Unless, that is, you are having a sushi craving and are stuck in a city that doesn't have much selection. That was my predicament, so I tried this location. When I asked about the good rolls, I found out the waitress didn't even eat sushi! She then said the most popular rolls were the fried ones. I knew it'd be all downhill from there.

Good food at a decent price. Much better service than the other hand in town. Great sushi and good hibachi. Good for vegetarians needless to say. Great for groups or a first date in Natchitoches (nice but not too fancy). One of you best options in Natty. I had to come back and add another star after my last experience! The chef at the hibachi grill was so accommodating to my husband and I as vegans. He made us a separate batch of rice, veggies, and noodles with no butter, egg, and as little oil as possible. Great experience.
