We stopped here for dinner, because we didn't want to fool with Parade traffic. MISTAKE. The side salad was made up of mostly the part of the iceberg that you DON'T want to eat... more croutons than vegetables. Our server was nice, and she tried, we don't have complaints about the server. We ordered spinach dip and wings. Spinach dip was ok, and hot out of the broiler, but the chips were stale, greasy, and sad. Furthermore, the cheese should have been more thoroughly mixed through the spinach. The wings were a long time coming and not all that hot in temperature. The flavor was ok, but I think that they were likely frozen before baked. When we asked about the pizza, we had guessed correctly that IT too was frozen dough (so we didn't even try it). Draft beer was BIG and only $3! that was pretty much the ONLY upside. I would URGE visitors to New Orleans to seek out better food, it is NOT representative of the city's cuisine! It might be passable if you just needed Room Service, or JUST a drink.

Decent food, mediocre service, and questionable health practices... Funny how one thing can ruin an otherwise good experience. We ate here one breakfast while staying at this hotel. The meal itself was not bad...pretty standard breakfast fare and good execution on the grits. But toward the end of the meal my wife (a food-service professional) noted that there was a guy in the kitchen in a tank top and flip-flops drinking straight from the tea pitcher. It really made us wonder how much they adhere to food safety standards and we will probably report this to the health department as it is egregious. The service was mediocre...slow, took quite a long time to get our food, and then the waiter, while friendly, came over and informed us that he had to step out briefly to do a "room service." Briefly turned out to be longer than 15 minutes and it took so long to get the meal complete and get the check, were were late to our subsequent engagement. Finally, the waiter forgot to apply the discount (Priority Rewards) and then disappeared again...I had to leave the table and track him down to get it fixed before I could pay. I left thinking we should have gone to IHOP.

You would never suspect to find such a nice place as a hotel restaurant. Two drinks, two dinners, and an appetizer for under $30. Burgers are generous and tasty. The menu has a definite "south west" hint to it with "queso" sticks and the Round House burger with pico and chipotle puree sauce.

I guess you have to realize this is a hotel restaurant. We came here later in the evening from our hotel down the street, we had a party of 9 but were the only ones in the place. The food was mediocre and the service was the same. We will most likely go somewhere else next time but for those staying in this hotel, this place works if you are hungry and don't want to leave the premise.

The food is decent except when they run out of things or haven't defrosted things which has happened on every visit. The service is just unacceptable and its a miracle if you can get your drink refilled. I hope I don't have to ever come back to this joint and I would far rather go to the City Diner next door or Tic Tock Cafe across the street for much better food, much better prices and light years better service.

Terrible....there have to be better places to eat nearby... Find one of them. I would say its a Denny's with a bar but its not even that good. Save yourselves!
