This has to be THE most pathetic excuse for what they represented to me would be a "lettuce wrap." It is called a wrap and described as such on the menu. So when I get a handful of torn up pieces of lettuce with three pieces of tomato, two slices of cucumber and like an eighth of a teaspoon of avocado spread kind of just thrown in there, delivered to me in a piece of paper, I don't think I'm unreasonable in being pissed off. If this were in a bowl, it would barely even qualify as a legitimate salad. I can make a better lettuce wrap in my sleep. Next time, just deliver your 35 cents of sh*t in a bowl and don't pretend to know what a lettuce wrap is. Completely disgusting. I should've taken a picture. It came in a package sort of the size of a 6" flatbread sub, but when I opened it up, it was 99% lettuce, spread out into a square-like shape, with the couple pieces of tomato and cucumber barely covering 3 inches of space in the middle, so even if I were able to pick up this ridiculous thing, which I wasn't because it was falling apart, it would have taken me about 12 bites to get to anything that was not lettuce.

I was very happy to be surprised by a Jimmy John's dropping in Metairie; I always enjoyed the High Street location in Columbus, Ohio. A no-frills, fast, (genuinely) fresh sandwich shop, this place doesn't take itself too seriously, and that's quite a rarity in New Orleans, where delis and burger shops seem to be jockeying for attention these days. Great quality meat and fresh-baked bread that's never dry or crumbly. Very garden-y jalapeño potato chips. And - let the people rejoice - Cherry Coke at the fountain! Did I mention delivery? Yeah, FAST delivery. You can walk out of here with a sandwich, chips, and a drink for less than eight dollars. You can do the same at Subway, sure, but after eating at JJ's you'll realize that Subway is only fit for punishing your kids for bad grades or misbehavior.

ok the map on yelp is not where Jimmy Johns is located!!!!! Anyway I am from Nashville and used to eat at Jimmy Johns all the time in high school! I was so happy to hear one came to New Orleans and, I went today and they didn't disappoint. Tasted the same as all the Jimmy Johns I have ever been too. It is a sub shop from IL, so I am glad they can survive down here with all the po-boy shops. If you want a po-boy and get Jimmy Johns you will be disappointed because IT ISN'T A PO-BOY! But it is the BEST SUB SANDWICH IN NEW ORLEANS!! Even my native New Orleans boyfriend who has to have his Adams Street po-boys at least once a week liked his Jimmy Johns sandwich today. They have great bread, great fresh ingredients, and fast service. Also if you like pickles get one here. They also have their own Jimmy Johns brand potato chips which are awesome!

Plain ole good turkey sandwich. The closest thing I'll find to a hoagie this far south! The Alfalfa sprouts are a nice touch too!

As so many have said- this is not a po-boy shop- it is a sub shop, and a great one at that. Many people on here are comparing it to Subway- not even close- subway uses cheap pre-sliced meat. JJ uses much higher quality meat that is sliced when you order. The bread isn't French bread- it's Sub bread- crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. Another great thing about JJ is the "unwich" - any sandwich on the menu can be made as an unwich- wrapped in lettuce instead of bread- easy way to be healthier. They also have great "Thinny" chips- not baked but less fat than regular chips. Always super fast service in the drive-thru. A welcome addition to Metairie.

I have written a review for the CBD location of Jimmy John's on Poydras St. The menu is the same, the service is the same, the food is the same & the restaurant is just as clean.

I liked that the sandwiches are far better and quicker than @ Subway. I didnt like that the woman cleaning the windows walked around the food counter to take my order. The food was good enough but I wish there was more of the 50c tuna on my $9 sandwich. It was high quality and good as far as a cold sandwich can be, but for my money nothing beats a hot and fresh Chick-fil-a.

4 stars for their super fast and kind service I once ordered the JJ garangutan?.. I'm sure I misspelled that.. And a mixed of roast beef and Turkey sub. It was good, but not awesome. Jimmy John's subs are made cold so don't come here thinking they'll put it in the toaster for you people! I also love how their ice are crushed cubes like raisin canes . Oh and not to mention their subs are super cheap with the drink and chips combo.. and so I've heard they deliver! Pretty cool sub hub to get good subs. * just a tip for my fellow JJ yelpers..* I brought the leftovers home and popped them into the microwave...oh my goodness.. It was so good!! If only Jimmy Johns offers to have the bread/sandwiches toasted/oven it would be so awesome and delish. Other then that I wouldn't mind going through their drive thru to grab a quick pick up a tasty Tuna Sub and veggie sub for when I'm in a hurry. Jimmy Johns for the win! Especially if you're on crunch time.

  • Kris A.

Its like a subway with less choices. -only one size sandwich(white loaf or wheat thick sliced) -no low fat condiments -basic sandwich toppings only plus avocado spread -the bread isnt crunchy like french bread but isnt as soft as subway breads -3 types of chips -2 different types of cookie -no kids meals -very small interior, one 6 person booth, 4 4 person booths and 2 2 person booths. if you go during a busy time plan on taking it to go or go thru the drive thru. -they do have 15 people working at the same time so it will be FAST

I work just a couple of doors away from Jimmy John's, and my job doesn't allow me to leave for a lunch, not even for 5 minutes. I bring my lunch most days, but on those rare days when I run out the door and forget to grab lunch, I love knowing that I can call or just jump on their website. and order a sandwich. My personal favorite is the JJ Gargantuan. Genoa salami, sliced smoked ham, capicola, roast beef, turkey & provolone, on homemade French buns then smothered with onions, mayo, lettuce, tomato, & their homemade Italian dressing. Just thinking about make me want to call. And do you want to know the best part. It would be here before I finish this post. It is a little price, it starts at about $5 but ends up turning into$15 when you add a drink and ships. And if you are buying for two. Plan to spend $25+.

My favorite "fast food" sandwich shop. Better than Subway and Quiznos hands down. They have a limited bread selection (french bread like white bread, or wheat sliced) but that's not a bad thing. Their bread is delicious, they have a lot of different sandwiches, it's cheap. Also for me being a 6'6 220LB male, I've never eaten one of their sandwiches and then been hungry afterwards.

  • Ornella G.

Placed my order online at 12:25, delivery guy showed up at 12:31! 6 minutes!!!! That's half the time i usually stand in line at any other lunch place. Sandwich is always made right, and it's delicious!

  • Katie S.

Man I love me some Jimmy John's!!! Every once in awhile I need to satisfy my sandwich fix and about 99% of the time this is the place I do it at. Their delivery really is FAST and the drivers are always super friendly and nice which I know isn't a huge factor for most, but I can't tell you how many times a pizza delivery guy has had an attitude with me about how long it took for them to find my apartment. (Like why didn't you just call me and I would have met you by the gate?! Jesus!! This isn't rocket science!!). Anyways...I digress...a friendly delivery person is definitely a plus in my book. My personal all time favorite is the #9 Italian night club add hot peppers but I've had a lot of other ones and nothing really disappoints here. There's something so satisfying about those white bread hoagie rolls too. Although they do have sandwich bread and unwich lettuce wraps upon request which is nice in case your trying to count those calories. And this may seem like an odd compliment but their website makes online ordering super user friendly and easy to customize. Their sea salt and vinegar chips are also a favorite for me. Super salty just like I like them. In case that resonates with anyone else who considers themselves to be a sea salt and vinegar chip connoisseur such as myself. Pros: fresh ingredients, fast and friendly delivery, who could ask for more?! Cons: well....there are none...

  • Alex R.

I've become a big fan of Jimmy John's gourmet sandwiches! I tried the JJ Gargantuan which is pretty tasty but an overload of meat (ask for extra condiments or toppings because the meat drowns out just about everything else in the sandwich). You can't go wrong with the Italian Night Club sandwich. This location also has a drive-thru!! There are about 20 employees (no joke) behind the counter making sandwiches so the service is VERY fast!

    (4)
  • Joey M.

Great place to pick up a sandwich. Thet are super fast. Sandwich taste very fresh and you get your fresh made sandwich in less than you can fill your drink from their fontain drink nachine.

  • Chantelle T.

If any fast food establishment worker should beg for $15 an hour it should be this guys! No joke. When I ordered at 12:28pm, I got my order delivered in 9 minutes. They get the order right EVERY TIME! Get the Vito. It's my favorite Italian sub there.

    (5)
  • Faith A.

I like Jimmy Johns, but its a no frills quick service sandwich place so know what you are getting into. They have all the basics, turkey, ham, roast beef, ect. pros: When they say freaky fast...they mean it! You will be in and out in no time if you are in a rush. Delivery: again freaky fast! My office will order from them and even with a very large order they are here before we know it. Low carb option- if this is your thing you can get an "unwich" instead of bread you get a lettuce wrap Quality- The quality of the ingredients surpasses its competitors Subway and Quiznos House made chips- They are kettle cooked and made in-house. Flavors include: jalapeno, bbq, salt and vinegar and regular and also an option of reduced fat chips. cons: No frills -They do not offer many options at all. no option to toast the bread, press it, no special sauces so its literally a sandwich you can make at home. Not many low fat options. Its either full fat mayo or nada. Only one vegetarian option.

I'm really not sure what all the hype about Jimmy John's is about. I had lunch there this weekend and found it to be really unimpressive. I had #5 The Vito (an italian sub) and it was just fine. The bread was pretty standard, but there was barely anything between it. I've seen some of the Jimmy John's photos posted to other social media sites and my sandwich didn't look anything like that. I ordered the standard 8 inch, but maybe you need to order a giant club if you want a hearty sandwich, because there certainly wasn't any meat hanging off the edges of mine. There are no combo options, you have to order everything a la carte, but prices are reasonable. Two things that make it different than other chain sandwich shops: you can order an "unwich" which replaces the bread with a lettuce wrap and you can order a whole pickle as a side.

Another example of Metairie becoming anytown USA. I'm pretty sure as I'm typing this another chain just opened up in Metairie....."OOOOOOOH look at the pretty Neon sign.....must. go. inside". People like familiar so I guess the suburbs are a good place for these places. Ok off topic sorry. Ok So Jimmy John's is a sandwich shop owned by our fearless leader who brought us a Super Bowl trophy and is now to be worshiped for all eternity. Thus it is our civic duty to eat at his sandwhich shop. They are super fast. Duh. It's cold cuts slapped on a thawed out hunk of bread by minimun wage high school kids hoping to meet Drew. There is nothing special about this place. The sandwiches are good because everyone likes sandwiches. There is absolutely nothing about this place above ordinary other than speed and sometime speed is important.

Joyful joyful I adore thee... JJs, what would i do without you! You deliver ONE sandwich, and I LOVE YOU FOR IT! i feel like you cannot go wrong with them. My biggest annoyance is when i forget to ask them to cut it in half. And that, i could really do myself, so it's only annoyance with myself. Thank you JJs for being AWESOMETASTIC!

Compared to Subway , which I will never eat at again because of food poisoning, It's your basic sub shop. The staff were very friendly which is a plus and everything was clean and well maintained at this location. It's a good place if you are in a hurry for a sandwich.

    (3)
  • Samantha S.

Great, great food. Jimmy's could easily throw subway out the market. The customer service was great, staff was friendly and helpful, the place was spotless clean and of course the food was awesome, fresh bread, veggies, and meat. I will definitely be back many more times!

While I don't like to give any fast food joint higher than a three, Jimmy John's is actually fast, and their subs are very good.

I love Drew Brees. Yeah, there was that whole Super Bowl thing once upon a time... but now, more importantly, he brought a Jimmy John's to NOLA! Well, the 'burbs, but NOLA enough for me. Much like Drew, I went to college in Indiana. While most of the time I tried my best to avoid chain restaurants, Jimmy John's was a frequent quick takeout/delivery treat. Fresh bread, fresh toppings, "freaky fast" service, cheap eats - you can't go wrong! It's better in terms of quality and service than Subway, at a comparable price. The only chain sandwich shop that I would trade Jimmy John's for would be a Panera Bread (maybe another Saints player can open one of those, preferably on the Westbank... hmmm). Anyway, this location was a little confusing upon entering, especially during the busy lunch hour rush. You walk in, go past the line of people waiting for food, and head to the counter where the cash registers are. Place your order, then go wait for your sandwich to be made. They'll call your order out, so be sure to be listening... and remember what you ordered! Feel free to customize your sandwich. Personally, I hate mayo, so my usual is a Turkey Tom with their sauce instead of mayo. Mmm. $4.89 after tax, and worth every penny. The service was friendly, and for the huge lunch crowd, I'll consider it to be freaky fast. Gourmet sandwiches? Maybe not, but it beats fried po boy options and is better than the other chain sandwich places. I'll take it!

    (4)
  • Jo W.

Thier sandwiches are awesome, way better than the other chains! The downside is that there isn't much room for customizations but service is super fast and the option they have taste great so it doesn't really matter anyways!

  • June J.

The food is pretty good. They put a ton of mayo on every sandwich so watch out for that. My biggest complaint is the parking. The lot is pretty small and employee's cars usually fill most of the spots.

    (2)
  • Jim P.

The did only deserves 3 stars. It's cheap and therefore very basic. I got the beach club (cuz I love avocado!) But the avocado spread was barely noticeable and I just tasted mayo mostly. But I do give an extra 1 star for the friendly staff. I always love it when I'm greeted upon entering and when I'm leaving. It makes you feel like a valued customer

  • Perrey L.

Jimmy Johns has nothing to do with Drew Brees or poboys. The fact of the matter is that that anybody can open a franchise. Even you! Anywhere you want!!! However, Jimmy Johns does have to do with super fresh bread, super fresh fixins, and the bestest, fastest, most amazingest sandwiches made so damn fast you'll freak. FREAK. I have been a Jimmy Johns fanatic since moving to Missouri over 15 years ago and I still freak. I mean I freak every time. No other man but ole Jimmy can say that he made me freak every time.

I am at a hotel 1.5 miles away and they refuse to deliver here because it is outside there delivery zone???!!! I asked the reason why if they are only 1.5 miles away and they could not give me an answer. I am very disappointed!

  • Christina S.

Woohoo, we've got a Jimmy John's now! I love that it's in Metairie because I hate having to go to the busy, touristy sections of the city to eat. It's in a really casual location, so I can grab a sub after my Target shopping. Very convenient. I am hooked on their veggie club. I never really enjoy most veggie sandwiches unless I order sauces to hide the mediocre veggies on it. You don't have to use sauces here to have some flavor. I also love that they have sprouts (my fav!) on the menu. The bread is amazingly good. Everything is really fresh and doesn't have that "previously frozen, thawed out" taste to it. Iced veggies are gross and the flavor is never the same. No iced veggies here, thank goodness. It's the best sub place, hands down. Subway, Quiznos, the rest...they don't even begin to compare. It's an absolute must try!

    (5)
  • Cindy A.

The best part -- it was indeed fast. The better part -- they use Hellman's mayo! (I'll make it a three star instead of two just for that!) The so-so part -- the sandwich. It wasn't bad -- just nothing all that thrilling. I had the #4 -- turkey. The worst part -- parking sucks. The worstest part -- extremely limited seating. So limited that our planned sit down inside lunch took place in the truck. (To the woman who was finished with her meal and just lounging in a booth for four -- you suck.) *Yes, I know worstest is not a real word. Hopefully you knew that I know that.

    (3)
  • Alex D.

Wow. When they say fast, they really mean fast. In the same time I can order 1 Subway sandwich, I could order 5 here. The previous restaurants in this location never really stuck around for long. I'm glad to say Jimmy Johns looks like it's here to stay, thank you Breezus.

Jimmy John's is my new favorite sandwich shop. For those times when I'm not in the mood for a poboy and want something more like a sub, hero, hoagie, or whatever you wish to call it, JJ is now my spot to get it. Why? Very simple: the menu is streamlined, the ingredients fresh and flavorful, and the service fast. It also doesn't hurt that the basic 8" sandwich is just $4.50. To back up a bit, I had never actually had Jimmy John's until back in October when I was interviewing with a company in Indiana and they gave all the recruits sandwiches for lunch. At that point JJ had only recently opened a store in Metairie and I just hadn't been to it. I mean, one sandwich shop is just like the others, right? WRONG. Subway has some good bread but the meat leaves so much to be desired. Quizno's has great meats and toppings but their bread is ho-hum and their pricing more than the quality you get. Then there's Jimmy John's which strikes a great balance with really fresh and tasty sandwiches at a good price. And yes, they are FAST. It's kind of their gimmick. So far I've had the Vito, which is their Italian sub with genoa salami, provolone, capicola, onion, lettuce, tomato, and Italian vinaigrette. This just might be my favorite sandwich. Really. My other regular choice is the Turkey Tom: fresh sliced turkey breast, topped with lettuce, tomato, alfalfa sprouts, and mayo. I like to add avocado spread to mine. Both sandwiches have been stellar every time I've gotten them. Lastly, I'll address the chatter about poboys. No, Jimmy John's is not a poboy shop. It's not trying to be. These are the sandwiches that people not in Louisiana eat. It's different bread, a different style, a different beast. I won't say comparing the two is unfair, but taking a sub too seriously is just silly. Nothing says you can't enjoy poboys and subs. I do.

  • Christopher W.

At first I wondered how can a yankee sub shop compete with New Orleans Po-Boys and then I got to thinking about how many subways are popping up around town so the demand for a non poboy sub is obviously there. I had been to Jimmy John's many times when I lived in Ohio and they are way better than Subway. Better bread, more meat and an even fresher ingredients all add up to a better sandwich. I cannot wait till the franchise owner Drew somebody moves into New Orleans proper in Mid City and I will definitely frequent them more other. $4.50 for a great sub cannot be beaten anywhere, not even by a poboy.

Great sandwiches and super fast service. I always add hot peppers to my sandwiches and who can leave there without a chocolate chip cookie?

Nothing great, but not bad either. Just a good filling sandwich. Amazingly fast service. I got my sandwich in less than 2 minutes. Good prices.

  • Richard D.

Not really into it. The food is halfway decent to decent. The bread is fantastic. However, the couple of times I've eaten there, they haven't gotten my order correct yet. It's all little things....add oil and vinegar to this, subtract mayo from that....and they can't seem to get it right. I've ordered online for delivery as well as used the drive thru...no dice. I'll probably eat it again, only because they're located pretty close to me, they deliver, and sometimes I get into lazy/hungry moods. I just wish they would get it together and pay a bit more attention to detail.

So Drew Brees brought us a fancy Subway's huh?! HA! Honestly, I was expecting something bigger and crazier just because Drew Brees has his name in it. The place was pretty small. They advertise themselves as "Gourmet Sandwiches". When I think gourmet, I think of Cochun's Butcher block. They have concoctions I've never heard of out there and flavors I don't taste everyday. The menu at JJ's is pretty straight forward. Smoked Ham, Turkey, Roast beef, Salami, Capicola... I'll admit the bread was pretty good and the meats they used were definitely good quality meat. I know b/c we ordered the JJ Gargantuan and this sub pretty much had every meat offered at JJ's in it! The service was super fast. We sat there for about an hour and seen two HUGE rush came in. I guess having 20 employees behind the counter will do that for you. =) I would definitely order here more often if they had one on the Westbank where I live. If you love Subs, you'll love JJ's. It's not good enough for me to drive 20-25 minutes though. There are just too many good restaurants I can get to in between that distance. =) I will add that my friend wasn't in the mood for a sub and she couldn't find anything else on their menu to eat. No salads or soups. This place is just straight up subs! Go BREES! WHO DAT BABY!

I am impressed. I think I ate at one of these someplace some time ago. I'm thinking it was an airport, but who knows. It obviously didn't make much of an impression. I couldn't even remember what kind of food they served. When one popped up on Veterans advertising gourmet sandwiches, my interest was peaked. A little po-boy competition will benefit us all. I walked in after watching the Saints win in overtime. No exaggeration, there were no other customers in the restaurant and at least 9 people behind the counter waiting for an order. I was under a little pressure to speed read the menu board and place an order. I finally settled on the number 11, the Country Club. While I was paying for the order, the Jimmy John's machine apparently kicked into action. I truly don't know how this happened, but the cashier handed me my sandwich with my change. Maybe they have a pile of #11's in the back? Maybe I was having a couple of mini-strokes? My head spinning, I wandered over to a table to eat my sandwich and figure out what just happened. I noticed a couple of "Freaky Fast" T-shirts that helped cleared things up. Apparently, speed is a big part of the Jimmy John offering. Good sandwich, very good bread that isn't French. I would have liked some pepper spread, but not a deal breaker. Sandwich and drink was about $7.50. Good deal, I'll be back.

I liked it. I love the smell of fresh baked bread and all the cute various signs. I've never had a sandwich with sprouts and I have to say I don't like it. i was kind of disappointed they did not offer any kind of chicken sandwich even subways and quiznos offers that. Service wasnt great the girl at the counter looked like she didnt want to be there and i could barely hear a word she said when i asked her questions. All in all pretty affordable for the amount of food you get Next time I wanna try a sandwich with 7 grain bread plain with just cheese and meat.

Finally a normal sandwich place!! I have had Jimmy John's before in Austin and was very glad to see that we were getting one. Don't get me wrong I love po-boys, but not having any sort of sentimental attachment to them (aka not being from Louisiana), they can get terribly old sometimes. This leaves you left with Subway--and that lovely Subway smell that lingers all day--for a "sub" sandwich..blah! Let me just start out by saying Jimmy John's is NOT a gourmet sandwich shop. Yes, it says "gourmet sandwiches"--it also actually says "ok, so my sandwiches really aren't gourmet" on the menu so don't go here expecting some kind of fancy new take on sandwich combinations. These are normal run of the mill turkey, roast beef, blt, ham, italian (salami and capicola), etc. sandwiches. Some of them have cheese, some of them have avocado and they do take add-ons (for example I like to get the smaller "turkey tom" and add avocado instead of getting the double meat "beach club"). The main claim to fame here is that they're just good quality ingredients and they are FAST ("freaky fast" in fact). The french bread is good and more of the soft variety than typically dry po-boy french bread. They have a 7 grain regular sliced bread that is a little thick, but good. You can also get an "unwich"--any sandwich on the menu wrapped in lettuce instead of on bread, which is actually pretty great. They have their own chips (not sure if they make them or not, but they are distributed by Jimmy John's) and their own cookies (made with real ingredients like flour, butter, and brown sugar with no crazy fillers or preservatives). Maybe it's just me, but the chips seems to have a lot more in the bag than typical main stream brands of kettle style chips. Like I said, this is not some kind of novel sandwich shop, but it is good and if you are tired of po-boys and subway it will definitely hit the spot. The location is a good one, we have been twice and haven't gone inside yet, but the drive-thru moves super fast. Thanks Drew!! Also, at some other locations they stay open as late as 2 or 3 in the morning, but as of now the Metairie shop is only open until 10pm.

Sorry, I love New Orleans po'boys. Nice try though. The ham was pretty good. The multigrain bread was not. To me its too much like suybway or quizno's and I usually don't eat those places. Very doubtful I will be returning here. See Kris A.'s review for the low down on the place.

I graduated from Purdue around the same time as Drew Brees. I also fell in love with this delicious sandwich shop in West Lafayette, Indiana. I'm sorry, but Jimmy Johns bread just beats any po-boy bread a million to one in my opinion. It is soft and chewy and delicious. And the meats and veggies are of the highest quality. I always used to get the Turkey Tom but on my last visit decided to try the Italian Vito with hot peppers. That might just be my new favorite!! Oh, and if you are a pickle fan, these are not to be missed! They are HUGE and so crunchy. I get one almost every time. This place is so good my husband would eat here every day if I would let him. Thank you Drew for finally bringing a Jimmy Johns to the New Orleans area!

First of all, New Orleanians, these are NOT po-boys! These are subs, damn those infiltrative yankees. That said, these are fan-freekin-tastic subs. The "french bread" resembles nothing like any french bread you're likely to find anywhere around these parts. It's rather dense and yeasty, almost more reminiscent of sourdough bread, minus the tang. It's also baked fresh daily and really really good. The sliced bread also comes highly recommended. There is nothing unique about the menu selections here. It's all in the top quality of the individual components. The cold cuts and vegetables are high quality and cannot possibly be compared to the likes of Subway. The bread is delicious. Their chips are fantastic and roughly comparable to Zapp's in texture and crispiness, salt & vinegar for the win. They charge extra for their hot peppers, which they also make; totally worth it, totally delicious. Their dill pickles are among the best I've ever had, actually. Details that shouldn't even matter that much are just really freaky good. When they say their service is "freaky fast," they're not kidding. Ordering in house, you'll have your sandwich in 1-2 minutes tops. Delivery? After submitting an order online, their best time to me has been LITERALLY 10 minutes. Their worst time? 17 minutes. I can hardly walk to the fridge and decide what to put on a sandwich in 10 minutes. Super subs. Their italian subs, my vote goes for the gargantuan, are likely the best in our region, maybe the best south of Chicago. Just go already.

If I were rich like Brees, I wouldn't have invested in this franchise...then again, I'm not rich nor am I Brees. Gave this place a second chance; these sandwiches are so plain...nothing special, nothing to talk about. Had their tuna...was so tired of the crunchiness and overload of celery in the tuna salad. Bleh. Service is good...there are about a million and one workers. Will definitely not be going to any more Jimmy Johns. I would've given this place one star but at least they are fast, have crushed ice and cherry coke fountain drink. Oh, and bring a sweater...it's uncomfortably cold.

If you want something that isn't fast food and need it delivered, this is the way to go. My boss and I each ordered a 8 inch sandwich, she got a drink and chips.. it was only $12 with delivery. The food is nothing great, in fact I could go to the grocery and buy a loaf of french bread and all the stuff to make a poboy at home and it taste the exact same.

Just love me some Jimmy Johns, his sandwhiches would make his mother proud. Great staff, great food, nice area inside to sit and eat. No complaints.

I love when local places market/promote themselves at my place of business. We have a huge staff where I work that are always looking for something new to eat. A crewe of 5 folks from Jimmy John's stopped by today with sandwich samples. The staff loved them. I personally tried the veggie sandwich which was so tasty and gourmet it reminded me of living in California. Great idea, and i will definitely be adding this to my list of places to visit for lunch.

Nothing special, better off going to Quiznos or Subway. Small sandwiches on tough bread. It would be a lot better if the dozen or so staff behind the counter weren't so loud, sounds like a high school cafeteria.

AWESOME SANDWHICHES HANDS DOWN. Of course it no Po-Boy but when you are looking for a change from the usual Po-Boy and want a AWESOME sub go to Jimmy John's not Subway. Everything is fresh and made FREAKY FAST. The bread is to die for, it so fresh.

Personally id like to say it no substitute for the average new Orleans po boy. But after hearing that this is something Drew Brees brought here I figured wth give it a try. i done only drive thru because of my hectic schedule so my review is on the food and service. EXTREMELY FAST and ACCURATE for the service! My order did sound difficult thru the little speacker you speak through. the food was kinda so so....i mean it just a sub sandwich with all the trimmings. bread wasnt something to rave about but it was still good. the price was worth it though. less than seven bucks? so long 5 dollar footlongs. this is a quickie sandwich shop. in out done. with good food but not the best in NOLA but worth the price. i will be back, just have to get subway out of my system....

Extremely simple, good flavor from the Vito sandwich, very fast delivery. Unlike Subway and Quizno's, you do not get to choose your toppings or extra condiments (hence the superfast speed between ordering & receiving my sandwich). But the taste of the meats and the bread outweigh this small negative point.
