Excellent po'boys at more than reasonable prices - simple and honest food, well made. Not often I find somewhere that caters to everybody's wishes (2 adults, 2 young adults and one teen) so hats off.

Juneau's is a legit Po Boy spot tucked back in a Marrero neighborhood. The ladies working call you "darlin" and serve up some fried goodness. Red and white checkered table cloths, condiments on the table, picnic benches. My kind of laid back joint! Good Friday stopped in for some Lenten seafood. Ordered the half shrimp plate with onion rings and potato salad. Careful there, that batter has some kick! (not that I'm complaining) Brother ordered the shrimp po-boy and he says they make a nice one! So, stop in and let these people serve you with a smile and send you home pleasantly full!

Delicious roast beef poboy. My husband literally dreams about this sandwich. I usually get the grilled shrimp Caesar salad- the tastiest, sweetest, freshest shrimp I have ever had. I do love that you have to walk through the kitchen and food storage area to get to the bathroom, where you find the throne on a raised platform. They focus on the food, where they should. Always friendly people and a lot of laughter in here. Remains a classic West Bank neighborhood poboy joint.

A local sandwich & hot lunch restaurant , 1st time my grandmother took me there back in 1971. The servers as cashier are fast , friendly & nice . A place to go and see old friends since the location is tucked away behind Marrero Elementary School , one has to just know it's there . Every time I walk in I feel At home , and just brings back Memories . The Murphy's and before that an elder of family operated and owned . The Murphy's Grand daughter attended same dancing school ( DataLombas ) my daughters also attended , and for that long full review practice day , the Murphy's use to make and share finger sandwiches with all .(A big box )and never expected anything in return . Everyone was their family .

Off the beaten path neighborhood place. Great place for a lent lunch. The shrimp poboy is rolling. This is not place you will ever find unless you are looking. Just a little Gem on the Bestbank.

Ok place for lunch. Some prices are a lil high for the portion you receive. Staff always pleasant.

One of the accounting ladies in my office knows the people who run Juneau's. Because of that connection, my first experience with Juneau's was actually via delivery service - even though my office in Gretna is a little beyond their usual delivery range, they made an exception for my coworker. I ordered a roast beef poboy and it was DELICIOUS. I now have 3 favorite roast beef poboys: my mom's, Short Stop in Metairie, and Juneau's on the Wank. (Parkway is high on the list for New Orleans, but other friends insist I need to try Mother's and Parasol's before making final decisions on that one.) Juneau's is a small place across the street from a neighborhood school, so I wouldn't bring a big group for dining in. It's definitely casual and comfortable. I haven't had an issue with parking, but I guess if they're ever super busy, you might have to park up the block. I'll definitely be back in the future when I'm craving a good roast beef poboy on the Westbank.

Terrible, will not go there again. I picked up lunch for my workers, the food was cold and the fried shrimp had clumps of batter, yuk! The french fries were all smashed in their little brown paper bags. Dont waste your time or money. The shrimp sandwich was $11.00 each, no side.
